Every time you try to phone your order they cant hear you so guaranteed there will be something missing with your order. Granted the food is pretty good but with my last experience i ordered $44 worth of fish n chips and burgers. When my order arrived i had a burger short of what i ordered so i called back to say its missing, the girl was apologetic and said that another burger would be on its way soon. When the burger got delivered the fellow stood there demanding to be paid another $7.50, i wasn't impressed because i knew that that couldn't be the case as my original order consisted of 2 burgers and a few battered items....so i paid him and then did the math, it turned out i had indeed paid the right amount in the first place, not only did i get inconvenienced but had to pay for the burger twice. When i confronted them about it in person i got promised STORE CREDIT while the staff were laughing at me in the background behind the counter,,,don't think i will bother with the again.

Worse food ever & ended up in the bin $53 never again. I get under pressure due to staff not showing up as that was mentioned- but no excuse. Would not recommend to anyone. Miss the old owners- who were lovely welcomed you with a smile very friendly, amazing food as they had so much pride. Now on the hunt for a new local Fish & Chip shop. New owners new food great service ! ! We used to come here prior with the old owners and the food was ok but it went down hill and we left. Today the new owners were so nice to a point where they earned my business back and the food was really good and fresh with no issues at all. If you have been unhappy before I highly recommend to give them another try you won’t regret it and thank you for being so kind and friendly it goes along way

This place seems to be operating under a dodgy business. I ordered online through their website, and when i requested for tax invoice, the owner insistent that their collection slip is good enough, even after explaining that I need a proper tax receipt that displays ABN and GST and not hand written, the owner insisted on not providing me one. The pizza quality also unfortunately wasn't that great, a lot of cheap ham slices used as the topping, and not enough cheese. also the Hawaian pizza has a garlic mince that wasn't spread around and resulting in uneven flavour. Based on this difficult experience on obtaining the tax invoice and also a disappointing pizza quality, I don't recommend this place.

Honestly if I could give no stars I would I have no idea who is writing these good reviews because oh my god it’s some of the worst pizza, chips and flake iv ever eaten besides my chips and pizza not being cooked for what you pay the size is a joke, I will never order again yuk! EDIT - what a joke I did message you guys and tell you what had happened I got no reply!! What’s door dash got to do with anything? Your food was horrible and undercooked you could give someone food poisoning with raw food like that so before you reply back I think you need to get the facts right, regardless won’t return. End of story.

I stopped here because I was thirsty .. I then found myself ordering a hamburger and two cakes and a can of coke .. I asked if I could have them on the under side of cooked . Ie not over cooked but a little less than the normal cooked way of things .. anyway my request was taken seriously and delivered perfectly to my way of liking .. the lady happily gave me a container of for my dog .. they were all so lovely I will definitely be returning one day soon .. PEOPLE!!!!! l have found a descent fish and chip place, the fish was beautiful potato cakes were lovely and crunchy and chips were cooked to perfection highly recommend, also had a Americana pizza which was excellent base wasn't hard light and fluffy and everything on it was just the best. They also do pastas and other things as well The staff are beautiful people and the owners are just super duper GREAT PLACE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED GIVE AGO.

Great chicken pizza! However, when I have brought in my own food/ingredients to use their deep fryer, they have rejected my requests. I just want to be able to taste the fish and chippy taste of the oil in my home cooked meals. Needless to say I'm not the only one who is disappointed, my family are nearly brought to tears every time I come home without a fish and chippy fried home cooked meal.

I haven't tried better pizza in a while.My son doesn't eat pizza and he couldn't resist to try it and he ate 2 slices .Potatoe cakes,nuggets and chips were so fresh and delicious.Excelent customer service on the phone and in person when we went to pick it up.We are not locals but i will take a special drive there soon to have our dinner

Possibly the worst snack pack I've ever had. $22 for half of a half size container? The meet was gristly. Worst experience I've had in Melbourne. Awful. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I meant to comment for a while, the pasta dishes and gnocci are fantastic. The salads are always fresh and delicious. Village is our go to take away when life gets too busy to cook. And our little girls love the walk to the fish & chips shop. Thanks guys.

Had amazing customer service when I went down to get dinner for myself and the family, food is absolutely delicious. Couldn't ask for something better with great quality of food and wonderful customer service.

Been multiple times over the past 6 months. Best fish and chips in the area. Always cooked great and portions are decent. Staff are friendly as well. Highly recommend
