I attended the Rosé Festival on Saturday, May 18, 2019 and it was one of the worst experiences I participated in while in Charlotte, NC. This was supposedly their third year of having the event, but you wouldn't know it by the lack of organization and false advertising they supplied. The tickets with tax were a whopping $37 compared to the $30 ticket price from previous years according to my google search. When we arrived, we were given plastic taster cups instead of wine glass, they could have at least supplied with the ticket that was purchased. The selection of Rosé was sub-par considering they only had dry wines and no sweet. Even the Rosé vendors agreed with the lack of variety that was supplied. The event advertised a BBQ and buffalo wing buffet from 4-6 PM. We arrived at 4:15 PM and there were no wings to be found. After talking to the event coordinator, I was simply told " Sorry dude, we don't have any more" I calmly suggested that next time if they do not have enough food to feed the crowd, then don't advertise it and let it be a surprise for the guest. She said " well we got to do something to get the people out". Clearly all this establishment wants is the money and don't care who they screw over trying to get it. The popcorn, chocolate and cheese tasting was a disorganized and disgusting disgrace of a display. Needless to say, we left after 30 minutes. I do not recommend this festival to anyone nor do I recommend this establishment being that they can care less about their customers.

(08/25/21) Vin Master is a personal favorite of mine. I am happy to see it busy and bustling. I understand that as it acclimates to the areas growth during trying times experiences can falter. Aside from a general lack of acknowledgment overall - we still enjoyed our visit here. Until our 5th glass of wine for the table came, unenjoyable. It was sharp, vinegary, turned. I told our waiter that we've enjoyed every wine so far but this was was the aforementioned, impalpable. I asked if we could switch it out in which they said "normally, yes. But since it's 1/2 wine night, no." This was the most crass response to a customer's concern and experience that I can recall. Unprofessional and tasteless, and the service that followed the interaction matched the energy. I reached out to management and was met with constructive feed back and conversation. It's always good to see a place open to critique and initiative to implement a way to better an experience. I'll certainly be back to give it another go.

Vin Master is a great little spot that sits right in the center of South End and offers great wines and good food. My wife and I were walking around South End in the evening and came upon Vin Master sort of tucked away in the corner of a larger building. There are several seats outdoors and many inside. When we entered we were immediately greeted and told to sit wherever we wanted. Once we sat we were offered a menu and told about the wine specials. My wife and I both ordered the red wine special (Malbec) and my wife ordered a spicy meatball flatbread. Both the wine and flatbread were really good. The flatbread was different from most as the bread seemed a little more like a focaccia and the meatballs were definitely spicy. Overall, everything was great about Vin Master and I cannot wait to go back and try more wines and food.

When it comes to options, prices, and atmosphere, this is one of the best spots in the South End. They don't serve food, minus some snacks, but they do occasionally have pairings with a local restaurant/catering service. They do mega-tastings one Thursday a month which are great value for $15. If you are looking for a wine shop without a "pretentious" vibe, I recommend you check this place out. Whether it is the first time you are trying wine, or if you are a wanabe Somm, I think you would enjoy this place. The staff and owner are super friendly, and it is right along the light rail. Great place to kill time if you are waiting for a dinner reservation to one of the many new places in the South End.

At first I was a little dubious of this place because they do not serve food although there are some snacks available for purchase in the refrigerated case- I really love snacks with my wine! But after coming to two of the mega wine tastings on Thursday nights I am completely sold. these events especially are such a great way to try new wines and find out more about your own wine preferences. The owner is very sweet and helpful and when the wind that I wanted was already sold out she made it easy to order more and pick up when it came in less than a week. I've discovered several new ones here that I love and will keep coming back four more.

I happened to be in Charlotte and stopped in at Vin Master one afternoon. It's a fun and friendly place to enjoy a glass of wine in casual comfort. They have a wonderful selection of wines at good prices for sampling or taking home. Rochelle picked the perfect wine for me - she goes for what pleases the customer's palate and their budget. I love that they have special events like 1/2 price glasses on Wednesdays, Thursday tastings, and live music every Saturday evening. Next time I'm in Charlotte you know I'll be back! Sue S.

Attentive service, reasonably priced drinks, and nice atmosphere. We decided to stop in for a drink and we were pleasantly surprised at the experience, particularly with the talented musician playing. They have excellent drink selection and tasty food to boot. We had good service throughout and were able to watch some TV on the different screens while the musician was taking a break. Overall a very positive service and I would definitely recommend going when there is live music playing for an even better atmosphere.

The Rose Festival sucked they didn't have any sweet Rose and they advertised a BBQ and buffalo wings Buffet from 4 to 6 by 4:45 there was no more Wings and a little bit of barbecue left so false advertisement. It was not worth the $37 that I paid for this to be the third event it sucked tremendously. I wish I could get my money back. The event person was like sorry oh well. She got her money so that's all she cared about.

Have frequented this wine shop for some time now and always am greeted with the best service. The owners and staff are so welcoming and accommodating, from recommending wine selections to answering any questions I may have. I highly recommend the Mediterranean platter and any flatbread too. Will continue to bring friends and family to this Charlotte gem.

So cute! Perfect ambiance with the brick walls and string lights. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. My boyfriend and i let our server know that we liked oak in our wines.... and one of the other servers came over with a bottle of wine to take home that was perfect! It was a great experience. We’ll definitely be going back!

I always have a nice time when I come to Vin Master. I like their charcuterie boards and their wine selection. They have nice onions and the service has always been pretty good too. They have great outdoor seating and the inside has great ambiance as well. I love the paintings they have displayed there!

Sign said Closed...but the Owner Rochelle opened up for us (making 3 customers total inside). She took great care of us and we enjoyed wine (Spanish) and Blue Goat goat cheese 'platter'. Very nice time on a rainy yucky night outside.

Wine selection is great, lots of bottles that you won’t find at the store at a very reasonable price. Awesome beer selection too if wine isn’t your thing. Super friendly and attentive staff that took great care of us!

Visited for a birthday party for The Chad. I had the high octane craft beers that were excellent, a few more varieties would have been good but I do realize it is a wine establishment. I would definitely visit again.

Menu is limited, mainly flatbreads. But wine is the main star here. Very busy this time, sat at the bar, while the previous few times wasn’t nearly as busy. Guess others have discovered this little gem
