The club manager at Virgin active needs to attend a customer service workshop, he does not know how to speak to members and is extremely rude and obnoxious. They keep removing gym benches and leave the entire gym with one bench??? and then tell you its due to COVID. Please the benches where there after lock down and are 2m apart.

My card wallet fell out of my bag in the foyer. I only noticed it was missing 24hrs later. Rushed to the gym thinking that I had a big problem on my hands. When I arrived the staff had found it and had kept it safe and secure. Nothing was missing. Compliments to the staff at the front desk for taking care of lost items.

Gym never has power, always in the dark. It’s either load shedding or a power outage that never seems to get fixed. Managers on duty seem to have a ‘don’t care’ attitude. I’ve also never seen staff cleaning equipment or weight section. Very poor experience from a well established brand in SA.

I've only ever had good experiences at this gym. The staff are always friendly and ask how my workout went or what I'm training that day. They always have cleaning staff on all areas of the gym keeping it clean and making sure the weights/equipment is well sanitized. Love this place!

The only reason I come here is because there’s nothing else in the area. Staff are sub-par at best, equipment is old but decently maintained, music is absolute trash, cleaners are oblivious to anyone training. I hope this gets shut down and replaced by a neo-gym of some sort.

Great gym, but make sure you don't forget anything there. If you forget something, you might as well kiss it. Goodbye. I'm forgetful at times, so itmy fault, but you would expect to find it in the lost and found like in other clubs. Sadly, this one costs me water bottles.

Well maintaned, wide selection of equipment and weights. The upstairs has a nice view of the park for people doing cardio and wanting to zone out on nature. Lockers are always clean, friendly staff and well organized circuit. No issues.

This is the most beautiful VA I have ever visited. Set in a nature reserve it has an outdoor feel. It is spacious, light and airy and spotlessly clean. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

A smaller gym, but I prefer it. Cardio and ladies weights are on the upper level, whilst men can do weight-training on the lower level by the pool. A bit further away is the circuit.

Can you guys please make Pilates at a time where working people can attend? The main reason I signed up was for this and I can’t even attend. Early morning or late evening please

Gym is smaller than you'd expect, especially the weight section. Only one squat rack! Views of the park while using cardio machines are a nice bonus. All in all, mostly average.

It's a good gym. Good atmosphere and friendly enough staff. However, for the price point, it does feel like they are a bit light on equipment - especially in the weights section

Small gym but I never find it overly busy. Weight section is smaller than the average VA with less variety of equipment but you can still manage to do complete workouts

I am extremely impressed on how my sign up went today. Nadia was very on the ball and helped me secure myself and my family a membership in which we can all enjoy.

If you are planning on using the weight section, rather don't join this branch. With only 4 benches available, too crowded and wait forever to use equipment.

The water is FREEZING so I am changing my membership to Dainfern Square where I went yesterday. They have a generator so water temperature remains constant.

I used to dislike this branch, but I realized their equipment is up to date and they have a few niche items for leg day. Small but we'll equipped.

They only have 1 squat rack. I did raise this with management and national office. But a year later and still only 1 squat rack. :(

Spacious gym with sufficient machine. Has a swimming pool and steam room. Weight area is cramped, so can be crowded during peak.

Club is aesthetically appealing to me with nature tapping on the window,machines are excellent n staff are super friendly .

The Cardio floor and view of PwC building in Midrand is amazing views. Very quiet and variety of machines …

Given that load shedding has been around for over a decade, it’s about time the gym invested in a generator.

This gym is great and convenient if you live in the lonehill area. It is always clean and has good staff.

Update. This steam room has been broken for THREE WEEKS NOW. Each time i ask, you are busy fixing it.

Nice new equipment, the kauai is a bit lacking in menu choices but overall the gym is pleasant
