From the day I stepped into the showroom, Elaheh approached me and brought me through the entire Volvo lineup, and after understanding my needs, budget and preferences, I was convinced that the XC40 was my best option. Despite being relatively knowledgeable in cars myself, I would say El demonstrated an even amazing depth of knowledge on Volvo’s products. Elaheh was very professional and the entire shopping experience was very transparent. I was never pressured nor upsell-ed, even though I ultimately decided to go for the base spec XC40, I was never pressured to go for a higher spec, instead, I was advised and properly guided on the selection of additional specifications that I require(such as the 360 degree camera which I needed!). In terms of communication, Elaheh was very responsive to my text messages and email, which is crucial for a person like me who is a first time buyer and unfamiliar with the local market. I was also constantly updated on the delivery status of my car. During the delivery day, El ran me through all the fancy tech-stuff in the car, from the safety features to the infotainment system, ensuring that I am all set for upcoming drives. Up until today, El still keeps in touch with me to ensure that everything is perfect with the car. I would strongly suggest anyone who is in the market for a Volvo to look for Elaheh. Recently decided to purchase an used car from Port Melbourne Volvo. Paid car facts and Ready to sign the contract with the manager but he misspelled my name twice in a row both on my legal documents and deposit payment details along with a few other mistakes. Two attempts to reach him failed , reception then put me through to speak to the whole sales manager who then said he would follow up and get back to me soon. Received a call from the used car manager , he was clearly upset about me speaking to the whole sale’s manager. The whole sale’s manager never got back to me but cancelled the deal and let the used car manager to pass on the news to me. Reason being “ both parties are not happy” the whole sales manager later repeatedly refused to answer my 2 simple questions. 1 why is the customer not happy 2 why is the manager not happy ? Whole sales manager advised me to file a complaint with the general manager and once again . I naively thought that would be a solution only to be told they had already spoken to him and decision had been made, there’s nothing he could do. What an “awesome” team work ! Last person to speak to was the marketing manager. Good listener. I requested for an apology from those involved which is now more than a month overdue. Don’t get me wrong Port Melbourne Volvo. You had every right to cancel that deal ! But your manager screwed up customer’s contract which made the customer unable to sign . Then the customer’s contract was cancelled because customer was not happy ? This is beyond a joke. No sorry , no apology. Hope everyone who are currently dealing with this dealership have a nice and smooth experience , cause when things go wrong , this might be what to expect .

Recently picked up an XC40 and it’s been a fantastic experience for me and my wife right from the start to end. And all the credit goes to the brilliant team at volvo port melbourne. Absolutely amazing experience with Domenic. He was fantastic from initial car negotiation up to pick up several months later ( unfortunately, there are some delays in Australia now with new car deliveries from overseas). Dom was very flexible and definitely gave us best price for the car possible, provided update on car delivery and the meeting for car pic up was fantastic, I was so warmly welcomed and treated like only customer. We had some urgent banks transfers at last minute as I wanted pick up asap and Domenic with team done fantastic job to follow up with banks to make sure that money hit account in time. While planning to a buy a car (probably XC40!) had been to Port Melbourne Volvo in first week of Dec. Excellent showroom with a wide range of excellent cars, its definitely a tough choice which one not to buy. A friend of a friend advised to go to Anthony, and voila! Here I am, a week later and a proud owner of a wonderful XC60. Couldn’t have been possible without Kate and Anthony who made it a cakewalk with some special offers. Had a very bad and exhausting experience at Volvo Port Melbourne. Please do proper research on all prices available on all Volvo dealer websites before reaching out to Port Melbourne Volvo. I guess, I lost my fav XC40 car deal because of the ego of the team over their. Bottomline: Research the price carefully of what they are offering and don't get pushed into making hasty decisions. Thoroughly professional and very Scandinavian decor! Daughter bought a car and I was there to stop her crying. Sales person walked her through all the bells and whistles, paired her phone with the car &c - took 30 minutes from walking in to driving out. Had to beat people away, offering me coffees, with a stick! Highly recommend and it's a beautiful car!

Best customer service I have ever experienced. As soon as I parked the car outside the service department, I was greeted by a staff member who knew exactly why I was there, and then another staff member made us coffee's while the car details were taken. Exceptional service!! Management should really be proud of their staff members.

Ordered a part that failed on my Volvo. They called me to say it was there. Kept me waiting 30 minutes to bring the part into reception. 12 people doing very little on the floor. Perhaps less emphasis on offering coffee and fancy decor and more on looking after the customer.
