After walking for 20 minutes in the heat to get to this pharmacy and being the ONLY person at the counter, I was told I could not get a flu shot without an online appointment. I asked again since I was the only person in sight. NO. Only if had an online appointment. Rather rude, abrupt voice. This certainly is not a customer friendly pharmacy. I have been to others in the area for various vaccines, and they have been most accommodating to an elderly woman. I will not use this pharmacy again. They could have cared less about my being a customer to the pharmacy. They certainly deserve the low ratings other customers have given them.
A store manager and employees at pharmacy department do not care customer satisfaction. I was sick and need a prescribed drug. In order to get info, I called them. The employer exposed unprofessional behavior having me wait for a long time until his computer would be rebooted. It took over 5 min. I asked him his name but he rejected providing me his name. I called this shop to talk with the store manager. When I explained to him what had happened, he apologized me. So I asked him to escalate my case. He said yes, but while I was waiting for talking with a higher position professional at Walgreen, my call was cut off.
Plenty of low quality experiences. Always a long line. Yesterday, I ordered COVID antigen tests, which have specifically been moved to the pharmacy since they’re now covered by health insurance. The cashier immediately rang them up and charged me directly - I had to inform her about the change. I shouldn’t have to do someone else’s job… Then, the pharmacist told me to pick them up today at 11am, and this morning I find the script was never submitted to my insurance. Above is just one such example. Pharmacies are very much a commodity service in todays economy, so I’ll certainly be taking my business elsewhere.
Pharmacy the perfect combination of unprofessional and incompetent. Texted to say prescription was ready at 2. Prescription not even started when I went in at 330. Went back at 4. Another 30 min wait. They only filled one of the scripts. Blamed me for not asking them to fill all of the scripts. Another 30 min wait. Incompetent and useless.
Don't even bother trying to call them. Every single time I'm on hold for 20 mins only to be hung up on and then I have to restart the process all over again. Out of the many times I have tried I have only ever gotten a hold of an actual person once. I will be switching my pharmacy to another company as soon as possible.
This is the absolute worst place to get your meds do not come here. They loose things all the time, I get notifications that things are ready and then I show up and they are not and I have to come back. They aren’t supportive when you need help.
Walked in yesterday to pick up a couple quick things. To my disbelief, there was a homeless person in the parking lot bleeding everywhere and another one passed out inside the store. This store has really gone downhill.
Lines always 45+ minutes long. No one ever answers phone. Can’t even transfer script to a new place because the new pharmacy can’t get a hold of anyone here. This is by far the worst pharmacy in all of ABQ.
Real slow, waited 3 days for a prescription I was supposed to have gotten, as well as not answering the phone when I tried to find out it was ready opposed to going into the store
Has gone downhill drastically over the last 2 years. Look at the other reviews, embarrassment to the pharmaceutical profession
