I just left this Walgreens, where the pharmacist discriminated against me. I was picking up a prescription in my name, using my credit card, with an Arizona State issued government photo ID. It was not a driver's license, but a valid photo ID issued by the state. I do not drive, so it is the only ID I ever carry and everyone else accepts it. At this location however, the pharmacist told me, in front of God and every witness in the store, that they needed an ID, specifically, "from the DMV". This means that if you have a US Passport, they will not give you medication, according to her own words. If you are a visiting foreign national, and you have a green card or an alien registration card, they will not give you your prescriptions. The pharmacist declared that it was Walgreen's policy to only accept an ID "issued by the DMV." I was picking up a prescription for a visible injury, and the antibiotic to go with it. It was 15 pain pills, 10 days worth of antibiotics. Nothing crazy. I had government ID, my insurance card, my own credit card, and I was picking up prescriptions in my name. When I argued with the pharmacist, she snatched the prescriptions back and said if I didn't like the "DMV only" ID policy, then she wouldn't give me the pain medication I so desperately needed. She held the drugs over my head while I suffered in pain. So I had to say "I'm sorry" and agree to her DMV only policy for "next time." And not because she was concerned about whether or not I was who I claimed to be... It was because she wanted to exert control over me. So after I said, "I'm sorry", she gave me back my pills. She was just in a power struggle. It was never about ID because I have my pills right now. On the way out I told her I would be writing this review, and she said "Good. Now I am banning you from this Walgreens and we won't fill any of your prescriptions anymore." Worst pharmacy, worst pharmacist on Planet Earth. To the pharmacist: On Monday, I will be calling corporate headquarters and find out who is responsible for your idiocy. Have a great weekend. I need to go Yelp now.

I don't normally write reviews. When I get good service, I continue frequenting the business. When I don't, I move on. My experience at Walgreens last night was not only bad customer service, but was deeply jarring. If you don't have any kindness or compassion in you, please, stay away from the medical field. It was a hard night. I stopped at Walgreens on my way home from an urgent care facility. I was in pain, partially deaf, and just needing my antibiotics so I could go home. I sat there for 40 minutes waiting for my prescription to be filled. I didn't complain, I was in severe pain, tears running down my cheeks, but quiet and patient. I paid over $200 for my one item, and asked the pharmacy tech if they recommended anything for nausea. He was clearly freaked out by the fact that while I was polite, I had clearly been crying. He went to get the pharmacist who came back with "what seems to be the problem here?". I once again, politely asked about a recommendation for otc nausea medication. I apologized even, and explained I was in pain. The pharmacist mumbled something. I explained I was having hearing problems, pointed at the medication I had just paid for, and asked what isle I could find nausea medication at. The pharmacist told me to just look for it and walked away. I was treated like scum. I'm professional, mild mannered, and not asking for narcotics. I had seen them assist the previous customer locate constipation medicine. But of course, he was a white man, not in pain, and he did not look like he had been crying. The only person that showed kindness and human compassion, was the clerk at the front desk. He helped me pay with my card for ginger ale, and treated me like a person. I will never set foot on a Walgreens again. I don't expect a lot from a pharmacy, but I don't need abuse and discrimination on top of an ear infection.

This is absolutely hands down the worst experience at any store I have ever had. Staff members here were absolutely horrifically mean and rude. To start off we weren't greeted or asked if we needed help finding anything. Which we did actually need assistance. Unfortunately the unprofessional staff were too busy hovering over us trying to see if we were stealing anything. My husband and I was profiled trying to purchase merchandise; being constantly watched and not speaking to us (only speaking about us from an aisle over) around 4 staff members were following us around, we were both called names and were verbally abused. The manager Darla and her Assistant Stepanie (whom did not give us their names, we found out hearing another staff member calling to them) were yelling and screaming at us, belittling us both in front of the other customers. Other people left the store upon hearing the way they spoke to us. This kind of attitude is unprofessional and unacceptable in any customer service/retail job. I am horrified. I will never EVET go to another Walgreen's in my life. Not even if it's an emergency.

I don't usually write a review unless I have a really good experience or a really bad one. I get that this store must get a lot of homeless people in the area but I came in well dressed and respectable to get a TENs unit and charger for my iphone and while looking at the models I absolutely needed to use the bathroom normally I wouldn't use a public restroom especially because I'm like a minute from home but the urge to go was strong. I asked pharmacy and pharmacy called over a manager and she told me with a really bad attitude that they don't have public restrooms. I can accept that they have a policy or whatever, except I have literally seen them let people go to the restroom. The woman didn't have to be so rude to me about it. Maybe the manager today on April 30, 2017 at 6pm was having a bad day or maybe she doesn't like black people whatever it is she didn't have to be rude about the situation.

Customer service here is nonexistent. I ordered an 8x10 photo and when I got home I noticed the color was clearly off. I had another similar photo of the same day/same time/same camera already up in my house where the color was fine, so I brought it in to show them the comparison. The first girl I talked to barely said one word, and didn't know what to tell me. Then a guy came over, possibly a manager, and basically admitted that the color seemed completely off in the one I'd just picked up, but said there was nothing he could do because their machine "doesn't mess with the color." Refused to even try reprinting one photo one time to see if it came out any better. How is that supposed to make me ever want to return to this location?

They have an employee that stolen my TV because legally there is nothing I can do about it but make a report. He's still a suspect for a Robbery, Home invasion, Trespassing, and owe $300 rent For the month of November. No names but y'all see a stupid flat top and probably some red shoes, ear rings, jewelry on, corny cocky attitude, Soft, Deep voice so he sound like a grandpa frog. When he Welcomes you to Walgreen's look him in his eyes you'll see a lying, thieving, womanizer, who screws the people over in their own home when things don't go his way. He should be arrested and sent to sit with some real criminals. The law can't prove you've done this, but I'm smarter than the law. We Make Laws. But the store is great. Clean

Girl working the front register on the night of 7/27/21, light-skinned Hispanic girl with dark wavy hair, was so rude and uninterested. She didn't make eye contact, didn't smile, I could barely understand her as she grumbled under her breath, sounding irritated and annoyed. I was actually being nice to her so there is no reason to act like this. Then when the transaction was over I told her thank you very much and she thrust my bag forward and didn't say anything else and proceeded to just keep talking to the other cashier. Talking to your co-worker while there is a customer or customers in line is very rude. Train your employees please on good customer service!!!

Disappointed in this pharmacy, went from 5 Stars down to 1. Reason for this is I was continuously put on hold for over 15 minutes just to ask one simple question! I understand your pharmacy may be understaffed but to keep putting me on hold after it keeps ringing on your end is very unprofessional. I think I am done with your Pharmacy as of today. No wonder Most patients are looking for new pharmacies to transfer their RX’s to other locations. If you need your medications soon because you’re under the weather, save your time and money by going to another competitor. Plus I was just disconnected by someone at your store! Thanks for wasting 25 minutes of my time.

A series of unhelpful exchanges as a patient who had hip surgery yesterday forced to stand around on crutches for 20 minutes while bumbling illiterate pharmacy tech thought my prescription for dilauted(pain killer) said diluted(watered down). Then told that they didn't take my insurance, after explaining again that I had Tricare, pharmacy tech said, oh we take that. After all that they told me to come back in 2 hours. Please consider going to a street corner drug dealer for: 1) better helpful service; 2) more knowledge staff; and 3) shorter wait time with an understanding and appreciation of reality.

Always a long long long wait at pharmacy. In fact I'm texting this while I'm in line. I think I'll continue till it's my turn if I don't run out of room first. Walgreens prices are higher than other places close by. I'm not a fan of those special prices that say 2 for $5 or 2.99 for one. Not a incentive if you live alone. The rewards don't add up enough to make this store a regular stop. Too bad because my son has Epilipsy and Parkinson's. I would buy lots of stuff. Safeway is very close so I shop there. Their pharmacy sucks worse than Walgreens but they are cheaper. Oh great. My turn.

  • Cassandra Hadley

I wholeheartedly understand how busy these jobs can be but what isn’t okay is answering the phone and putting it on hold without any kind of greeting and then replacing someone on hold 7 times without a single word. Communication can make or break a business and this Walgreens pharmacy is only being used still because it’s cheap and in a convenient spot. Not trying to be a Karen I just needed info and was willing to wait but would have appreciated professionalism on the end of medical personnel. Still never got helped.

  • Joe doe

The rudest most unprofessional staff I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. Extremely racist towards white people, especially the pharmacy tech was such a racist towards me, he refused to serve me, I asked for a manager, and he refused to call one. Then he told me if I didn't like the way I was being treated that I could call sheriff Joe Arpaio. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. The entire time the pharmacist did nothing to resolve the wrong and illegal treatment that I was receiving from one of her staff.

  • Rose McRae

Again, I love this place! I do need to submit a correction however, is the pharmacy now closes at 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday. I have already achieved 2 $50 balance rewards certificates. This is an excellent plan that rewards you for just spending money, getting prescriptions, & following good life habits -- such as quitting smoking, or losing weight. Check out Walgreens/Balance Rewards 4 full details. IF you're a Walgreens customer - - you really should sign up for any and ALL available savings programs!

  • R. M. McRae

This place really allows you to save a buck! They have sale prices, clearance prices, online coupons, manufacturer's coupons are honored, and reward points. Reward points directly turn into dollars after a certain amount is a earned. For example, to earn a $10 savings you simply need to acquire 10,000 points. The hours are great... the pharmacy is open till midnight seven days a week, and the store itself is open 24/7. Employees are friendly, the merchandise is varied, and the selection is awesome!

  • Leslie Webb

The pharmacists and staff are extremely uncaring and jaded when dealing with people who present with narcotic prescriptions. They assume they are all junkies looking to pull one over on them. They should spend a day in my shoes and realize that this medicine makes life worth living! Shame on you for treating people so poorly and giving different answers to different people. How cruel you can be.

  • Jean-Michael

Nice facility clean no waiting and super nice staff. No patronizing condensending communication that makes you feel awckward but rather comfortable and most importantly confident to know you are taken serious genuinely ... Or at least the part way played way too well and was lead to believe such for better but if not oh well... Some people just were not raised right... SMH.

  • Ondrarosie S

I stayed in the car while my boyfriend went in the store and as soon as he walked I'm they said On the loud speaker "security walk the floor" so after he told me I walked in and they said the same thing when I walked In. Then workers started following us around. They have terrible and I mean TERRIBLE customer service. I would not recommend.

  • Jaela J.

Penni and Geraldine are very unprofessional and felt the need to talk about me in a negative manner when I entered the store because of my hair. Very uncalled for especially at their big age. I contacted the manager and reported them both. Thank you to Corey in Photo department for being nice and professional and complimenting my hair.

  • Christopher James

Avoid the heath care clinic as it is designed to take advantage of the poor. They want to charge me $100 plus medications a month to treat my high blood pressure. They will not give out 90 or 120 day prescriptions, only 30 day prescriptions, which forces you to see the nurse practitioner every 30 days at $100 or more a visit. Usury.

  • Lizette Rodriguez

Horrible customer service from the pharmacy drive thru! They had me waiting over 45 minutes and they kept asking me to drive to the back of the line. This one pharmacist (might of been the supervisor) even raised his voice to me ! Never going to this location again and i will contact corporate so they are aware of this !

  • Gina HRB

This place is ok just as long as your needs are few, I did on more than one occasion staff members being very impatient while assisting me..Their attitude was like I was being a bother to them, also the rest rooms have been out of service for ever. I havent been back this month to see if it was fixed..

  • Joe Botz

Nobody works hear, no wait....yep there's one cashier at the pharmacy and at the front. Whoever runs this place must be going broke if they can't hire staff. Then I hear a staff member say their hours are getting cut despite there always being a line? Eh I'm just a costumer, I don't know clearly

  • Mayra Angulo

Worst customer service experience ever...Pharmacist was rude when I asked when they stopped being a 24 hour pharmacy store... I will never come back to this location and will make sure I will tell all my friends and family members I wish I was able to give them zero stars.

  • Kamil S

Avoid this pharmacy. They are the slowest place that you will be at. The employees dont care and everyone here is not in any rush to help you. Worst pharmacy that I have been too. Will be taking my business somewhere else. I am sure they dont care.

  • Stanley Brown

I went to the clinic for an ear infection issue. They were timely, professional and nice. They took care of my issue to the best of my ability and gave me a follow up call the next day (a little soon in my humble opinion). They did very well.

  • Daniel Smith

Been going to Walgreen's for years and years. Rarely have any issues, which are always resolved quickly and amicably. They often will contact ur Dr on ur behalf if additional info/refills are needed, which other pharmacies refuse to do.

  • Anthony Kline

I love this Walgreens. It's 24/7 (the store part that is, NOT the pharmacy) Friendly staff and very clean store. And with it being right next to the Light Rail it's very convenient for you last min items on the go.

  • Pauline Laing

Got,some snacks here, there was a good range. I noticed some special prices for members, so I asked how to become a member. The cashier dithered around and didn't know where the form was, so I'm not a member.

  • Erika Winston

I love the store and location...mostly. But I'm sick of having people approach me outside. This was the last straw when someone stalked me inside to harass me for money. They need to fix this quickly.

  • KATHERINE Jim

Walgreens is a wonderful place to shop. It has groceries, baby products, and wheelchairs etc. There's also hair products for men and women. You can find car products too. The entrance is on 1st floor.

  • Sherry Chambers

I love the store, its the HELP at the take care clinic!! The rudest, most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered!! I am so appalled at the way I was.treated, that I Will now be shopping at CVS!

  • Taylor Edwards

I go to this Pharmacy about two or three times a week. They are always very friendly and have good service. I love that they are open every day from 6 a.m. to 10 pm. They are usually quick also

  • Baldo Munguia

The greeting at the entrance is great, but it defeats the hole purpose if some of the staff are rude. Especially the new staff in the pharmacy department. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

  • Casey Sapio

This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. The wait is just as long inside as the drive thru. It took at least 45 minutes. I gave them multiple chances and will never go back.

  • Kirk Hodges

The "Take Care Clinic" kicked me out, saying patients with appointments take priority over walk-ins after I'd been waiting for over an hour (and already checked in).

  • TheFknDeath Star

The cashiers are rude, and the pharmacy staff are ALWAYS late on prepping meds. Told 10 minutes two separate times, each time made to wait an hour or more.

  • David Dixon

They had what I needed, but why is everyone in there so weird/creepy? I know that isn't constructive, but is it the area? Draws a certain type of crowd?

  • Moishe Weiss

I go to this location even though it is farther away than 3 others because it has long pharmacy hours: 8 AM - 10 PM, 7 days a week.

  • Kay Helmstadter

Best Walgreens I have ever been to! Great, friendly staff and it's very clean and organized! Thank you Walgreens!
