Horrible Pharmacy. Let me start this off by saying the Pharmacy Staff (and staff in general) for the most part are very nice people. Every time I've went there, I honestly believe they did their best to do their jobs and help me out. That being said, I have never had a positive experience here. Whether getting my meds or just shopping, this place is very understaffed. The lines are long no matter the time you go in and no matter if you're going to the pharmacy or waiting in the normal line. The first time I went here, I need my pain meds asap. I was literally in the most excruciating pain I have ever been in during my life and I still had to wait half an hour just to be seen. I couldn't stand up, so I decided to try the drive-thru; bad idea. One person mans the drive-thru, even though there are two "lines". So I sat there in pain while waiting for some woman's question to be answered. This experience has been typical of picking up my meds here. This last time, which I will note as being my absolute final time, I had to go in after my surgeon was already home for the night and couldn't be contacted until the next day. The head pharm tech (the evening manager? I showed up around 6:30pm on a Monday...) said she had to call my doctor to confirm the dosage amount. Never-mind that I was picking up pain meds that have Hydrocordone which isn't available over the counter. Never-mind that her whole reason for not providing me with the meds is because of the acetaminophen amount, which I would have to overdose on the OTC stuff to provide the amount of relief necessary, which would defeat her purpose of not giving me my meds and having to contact my surgeon. Never-mind the fact that he was out for the night. And never-mind that the Norco I had to pick up contained the pain relief that not only allowed me to sleep, but actually have a normal, pain-free day. She was concerned with new regulations that obviously my expensive and highly-regarded (and awarded) surgeon would be unaware of. I had to go to another Walgreens in West LA who not only provided me with my meds, but did it within 20 minutes as opposed to the hour it ALWAYS takes this pharmacy to do. I would hate to see how other customers who don't leave reviews have had to put up with that type of situation. If my experience had not been better in West LA, this would have been the absolute last time I would go to a Walgreens. In summary, this location is severely understaffed and unfortunately has people in charge who can't use logic or have no sympathy. "Do no harm" apparently also means letting people suffer, which this Walgreens adheres to perfectly.

1. I went to the pharmacy with a renewed prescription note, and an employee told me that they needed to clear it with the insurance first. So I left the note in their care and I went home without putting too much thought into it. But about a week later, and I still hadn't heard back, I checked the status online and saw that the insurance company still hadn't approved. I was nearly out of my old prescription by then, so I called the pharmacy. Getting a person on the phone was a nightmare in itself, as the phone wait was long and it got disconnected a few times - meaning I had to call back and wait again each time. When I finally was able to get a person on the phone, she looked through the record and resolved the problem right then and there and told me to come and pick it up. I was so happy about not having to skip a dose that I forgot about the inconvenience of waiting, and went in to pick up my new prescription. 2. After some 30-min wait (8-8:30pm), the customer service person (male black, tall and heavy set) handed me my prescription bag and told me "when you're out, come back and I'll give you more." He said it with the air of a person who personally owns the pharmacy and the drugs, as if I needed to be grateful to be getting anything at all. I asked him what he meant, and he said with undeniable agitation in his voice "we out [sic]". I would've asked more refill-related questions if not for his dead, fish-eyed, "why are you still here" look, so I left. After I went home, I opened the prescription bag and saw that there was literally ONE PILL in the bottle. LOL. If you ever decide to visit this pharmacy, good luck!

this is the worst place to need a prescription refill. they are untrained. i gave my information multiple times, clear as day enunciation and still no progress with my order. I tried to help the situation by personally calling my benefits (pharmacy) line to confirm the benefits walgreens was unable to even find. once i tried to call back, the walgreens pharmacy never answered the phone again. all i’m saying.. if you have severe depression and anxiety, this place will only make it worse. i get it, the location alone is a lot to deal with, but i’m a customer with a need can be simply met by answering the phone. after i obtain this refill, i will never come back to this location ever again. they are the worst. i wish i remembered the lady’s name. but i called on 09 december 2023 between 8:20am-9:19am. She was the first to answer the call. said she would call my benefits line (i gave her the number, my birth date, phone number, full name all of it, said she would even call me back). hopefully someone in corporate will read this and just re-educate on compassion, empathy? that’s no way to treat a customer. geez. and now they’re leaving my call on hold… but it’s okay, i’ll just arrive in person. cordial as ever of course.

Horrible place. Had 2 sick kids late at night and ordered pick up. All items were in stock. Was told by the pharmacist over the phone that I could pick up the order at the drive the pharmacy. Mind you, Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I show up in the rain. One of my items ended up being out of stock. Called customer service and was told I could speak with someone in the store to see if they could add a substitute. Spoke with the manager, and he said they could not add a substitute after the purchase was complete. The manager suggested I complete another order for pickup for the one item, Ibuprofen, so I could have it delivered for pickup. We ended the call. I do as I was told and go to checkout turns out my item wasn't something I could complete because it was ringing up below the minimum. The whole experience was awful. Ended up having to get out of the car, in the rain with both kids in tow. Thank you, Walgreens, for your great customer service and lovely purchase minimums. The moral of the story I should have just selected that I was okay with substitutes. It was simple they could have put a little more effort in helping. Won't be doing this again.

Worst experience ever, nothing but rudeness and unprofessionalism from the pharmacy area to the photo area check out workers and even the manager. Had to use the men's room there and everybody gave a different story about the bathroom being out of service others that the bathroom was closed and others like the manager she was able to tell me that they close early at 3:00 because of the area and would not allow me to use the restroom at 5:00p. in the afternoon with clear daylight present. And her excuse was that if she allowed for me to use the restroom that she should allow everybody else to use it because she couldn't discriminate against anyone. Then I asked her, well what do you think you're doing to the clientele?... You're discriminating against us because of a few bad apples in the neighborhood. We are all customers here, there are no homeless crackheads inside the store at the moment! I understand why you do it but I'm a customer with the need to use your restroom that you have in service, you're just refusing to allow the clientele to use it.

I visited the pharmacy today, it is very apparent that the pharmacy added additional support. Customers appreciate this and I bet so do the staff that was already there. I changed the rating to a three star from one, and that’s because I still believe that when the going gets tough, and you choose to keep going, don’t lose respect for others. I normally don’t use this Walgreens, I go to a community Walgreens, and it’s largely due to the very poor behavior from the employees at this location, such as David today who perhaps was not house trained very well by his parents. David makes it look like any common person off the street can work here. Even the DMV has better polite pleasant service than the attitude that this specimen provided to several people today. His excuse was something about them being busy. Everyone is busy at their jobs however, if you can’t handle working at a busy place, don’t shake your head in disbelief, don’t play victim, conduct yourself as a professional, or you just have no business working here.

Today visited first time to drop off FEDEX packaging and absolutely disappointed with FEDEX drop off section’s service. There were 2 Latino female workers and they are absolutely unprofessional, they don’t fit in this position. Their behavior is unacceptable for me. After I left them, they laughed loudly behind me. I own small beauty shop and have 5 workers. I know how to serve the customers and how to make them feel satisfied with our service, although my store doesn’t carry some customers’ needs! Eventually, every customer satisfaction depends on how you communicate with the customers such as your professionalism, your voice tone, your gestures, your politeness and your little kindness...!!! These 2 female workers should work on themselves and should try to fit in their position!!! AND JUST REMEMBER THAT OUT THERE THOUSANDS OF PROFESSIONAL, EDUCATED, PASSIONATE AND HARDWORKING GUYS ARE STILL LOOKING FOR JOBS!!!! I’M GONNA TRY TO NEVER VISIT AGAIN YOUR FEDEX SECTION.

  • Valerie Sacks

Rude, inefficient staff "serving" (and I use the word loosely) a hideously long line of patrons. No idea why anyone would go there twice -- I sure won't be. Staff has no apparent ability to figure out a way to make it move more efficiently. When I commented that the manager sent someone onto break when there were 12 people in line, most of whom had been there more than 20 minutes, she said she was required to. I said they should hire more people. She said I can call the 800 number. Usually I go to the Rite aid on Vermont and 3rd to fill prescriptions (for my dog), and they are much faster, more efficient, and nice, and also open late I believe. When I pick up the prescription, I will swing by the lawn chair department and pick one up and a stack of magazines so the 35 minute wait for a 90 second transaction won't be so irritating. Maybe I'll call the 800 # while I'm waiting....

First and foremost, I would like to applaud this Walgreens for being open 24 hours. ACTUALLY OPEN 24 hours. I am a bartender and so my schedule is late night and in my neighborhood slot of places advertise 24 hours, but alas I go to find them closed for cleaning or some other reason. This Walgreens however has never failed me! What made my trip this time exceptional was the help of a wonderful and lovely woman named Devonie. She rang up my purchases, and patiently explained to me the way that the Walgreens rewards points work etc, because I was confused and did not understand why the coupon was not working. She was a delight and made sure I knew that my points would be available on my next visit etc. I never understood the reason I put in my number every time , and now I do. Thank you so much Devonie and thank you Walgreens on 6th for always being open for my late night needs.

  • MichaelRowanRoxie

When calling, the automated system says 2 minutes. After 16 minutes I started a call on another line. That line got picked up in 5 minutes, while the other one stayed on a never ending loop of holds for 21 minutes by now. The pharmacy tech could not help, and put me on hold for the pharmacist. After about 12 more minutes, they dropped the line and it sent me to a survey. So, I called back. The automated system said 2 minutes wait again. The wait was about 11 minutes this time (by now, I had the other line going again). The tech said she’d get me right to the pharmacist. She put me on hold, where I’m spending my Saturday. Going on an hour now, just to get a simple answer of whether they can fill my daughter’s prescription. This is the worst customer service. It makes Comcast look like the Ritz for customer service. Location: 3201 W 6th St Los Angeles, CA 90020 United States

Terrible service at this location. My sister was supposed to get her holiday card design printed into a greeting card. She wanted them printed immediately but they said oh we only do same day which my sister was fine with. She was going to pick them up at a certain time, which was a few minutes or two, which then turned into an hour. There is no where to sit and wait which dosent make sense. My tia(aunt in spanish) had to use the bathroom so she asked 2 associates if there was a code or something to get in to the bathroom. Both of them said oh we close the bathroom after 4pm, which DOES NOT make sense. To be fair, during this time the bathroom SHOULD be open until the store closes because it is holiday shopping season, and the stores are full of people shopping. I really hope this location can improve soon because this visit was not it.

Coming to this store reminds me of why I go to CVS in the first place. I placed an online order for photo pickup. I get to the photo section and I let the gentleman know that I am picking up my photo order I placed online. He awkwardly tells me that he is doing his training but will grab someone to help me. Okay. Fine. Here comes another associate and I hear the trainee tell him that I’m here to pick up my order. He asks for my name and looks in the back. He returns and says he couldn’t find my order and asks if I might have placed it in another store? I read to him the store address to let him know that I placed the order at this location. He couldn’t find the order until he realized that he was looking at the pharmacy section, not the photo section I was standing at. Never coming back here, I’d rather deal with Rite-Aid

  • CLAUDE W (Wygy)

The store itself has the worst customer service with big lanes if not they make you wait because no one is at the cash register and for the photo department it's give you at 2 hrs time when the printer and machines are ready there just they need to click a bottom on the computer and it's starts printing and cutting itself on the sizes that you ask for it that's all, so when I see a lady that come to ask for her prints and they ask for the time she put the order and respond that it was almost 3 hrs ago and they check the computer and go to the printer and select her name and prints start coming up and ready in 3 mins I ask why to wait so long if anyway they don't do it on the 2 hrs wait that is been told just right away when you come to pick them up so the employees made of this store a disgrace itself

  • Pete C

I think they towed my truck out of their parking lot so I had to pay for an Uber and pay about $360 to get my truck out of the tow yard. I have been buying from this Wallgreens for years because I work right next door. One time that I had my motorcycle in the back of my truck it was too tall to fit in my work parking lot, so I parked my truck with my motorcycle in the back of my truck in the far corner of the Wallgreen's parking lot where no one was parking so I would not be in the way of their other current customers. A few hours later when I came out of work, my truck and motorcycle were gone because they had been towed away out of their Walgreens parking lot. Another time, my girlfriend parked in their wallgreens parking lot and when she came out her car was missing all 4 of her hubcaps.

No one at the pharmacy ever answers the phone. I’ve been on hold for over 2 hours before, usually a 1 hour minimum. I get put on hold over and over again or just straight up hung up on. I understand that they can be busy, but the result doesn’t change no matter what time of day or night I call. A small level of priority needs to be given to customers waiting on the phone because it’s absolutely ridiculous. I appreciate the work pharmacists do, I believe they want to help people, but It seems that they have become desensitized to the fact that there are real human beings on the other end of the phone line that need help and some people, like the elderly, have difficulty with transportation to come in directly and end up getting neglected by the pharmacists that work here. Please do better.

I’m not one to really give reviews , but today I happen to want to because this was just a horrible experience I happened to be waiting for my mothers prescription & this very old Hispanic couple that did not speak English happen to be in need of help so they flagged down an employee who spoke no Spanish so her instead of helping she screamed very loudly at them asking what they wanted and just giving them attitude I felt so bad and got up myself and told her I’ll help translate for you and she just gave me a nasty look which upset me more so I told her you know what “I WILL HELP THEM” thank you! And she just walked away what horrible customer service!!! PLEASE MANAGERS SUPERVISORS HELP TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES to be just a bit nicer ! There “job” is “customer service”!!!!!

  • Glenda Fitzgerald

This is my to go to Walgreens since I live in the area.Been coming here for about 3 years now and never have I experienced horrible customer service like I did today . The cashier by the name of “Eric” (I think) very rude, like he doesn’t care about his job . I asked if I could purschase/have two bags for my items and he replies” we’re not charging bags haven’t your heard of covid —19” like ok it was a simple question I asked . Never smiled, while scanning my items he just threw them in the bag, I still said “ thank you have a great evening” and nothing. This person needs some basic training in customer service . We get it we all have bad days but don’t take it out on the customer !

  • kewl nast

i live walking distance so i always come here and its literally ALWAYS understaffed. always a 25-30 minute wait in line because theres only one person at register and SOMETIMES there’ll be two register people. todays my first time at the pharmacy here and its literally no better. im here for a prescription i was told to come back in 2 hours for only 2 little bottles of medication its now been 2 and a half hours and theyre still not ready with my small simple order. i was supposed to take my meds hours ago!!!! this place is horribly understaffed maybe consider hiring more people because business is terribly slow for no reason. no one likes it here. look at the ratings.

  • Zoe van't Hof

As friendly as they try to be here, they're all so slow and seemingly incompetent at their jobs, I am still waiting after 40 minutes for them to find my FedEx item, which I specifically described as an envelope, and for some reason they seem to keep looking through piles of giant boxes, I've had a girl refuse to sell me wine because my friend who entered the store with me, but didn't not cash out with me didn't have her ID (she's legal and explained she wasn't drinking any when I complained to the cashier), not the lowest score I could give because there are some good people here, but for the most part they try their best and their best sucks

  • Allison K (whereyoobin)

went in at 7:30pm, waited 30 min to reach the counter. the lady first did not even know what the prescription said, had to talk to the one in the white coat who said “‘Naproxene” and then was told “as you can see, there is a very long line so we will fill it for you in 2-3 hours. we will text you when it’s ready” I waited til 10pm, then fell asleep and woke up at 2:30am (now) to see and still no text. i called, was on hold for 20 minutes because “they are busy” and then was told “texts don’t get sent out after 10pm, it’s ready to be picked up any time.” what.... the..... AVOID!

  • Leslie Novelo

They need new caring worker to represent this Walgreens because obviously the customers do not come first at all. The pharmacy doesn't know what they are doing, they refuse to answer phones and wont go out of their way to get what you need. I dont know what Walgreen's is about but it indeed does not care for their customers nor have employees that care for the customer or the good of this company. They should rebuild over this walgreens and bulid something better like a CVS!!! Or just hire WORTHY PEOPLE INSTEAD OF JUST HIRING RANDOM PEOPLE!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

  • p q

Worst customer service. After covid service anywhere isn’t the same anymore. Makes you not want to spend money in these places. Cashier and security lady are rude. I can’t wait for machines to take over all these jobs, security and cash register. Service isn’t good anymore. Robots will be more approachable than humans and nicer too. We don’t need security’s if we have artificial intelligence and face recognition. We already don’t need cashiers we have self check out. Digitalization of cash will change everything. I give it 5 years and we’ll start seeing jobs disappear.

  • The Popescus

So... the other reviews that mention long lines are absolutely true. It took me about an hour to get a prescription for eye drops. With that being said, though, the clerks were very polite and did their absolute best to fill orders. As I waited for my prescription, there was a customer who only spoke Spanish. Joseph was the person helping me. He called someone from the front to help translate. The employees seem to be doing the best they can. It's nice that there are chairs for customers to sit in while their order is being processed. This pharmacy needs more help!

  • Caroline Louis

This place is awful, they need to have security taking care the parking lot I had and appointment And I arrive 10 minutes before but I was looking for parking because it was full while I was waiting I wonder a lot of people uses the parking to buy tacos or they parked their car and they leave their car and they go to other places This parking it’s exclusively for Walgreens customer Not for personal business I was upset because I lost my appointment for being late beside that inside was a long line for the pharmacy I didn’t had a very good experience at this place

  • Thien Phan

Try not to send your FedEx packages here if possible. Staff here is not trained in anyway on how to handle them, and of course this Walgreens was not built to handle this kind of work in the first place. The packages all sit in a big and unorganized pile - staff pretended like I was crazy and that my package didn't arrive at first (they found it five minutes later). One of my boxes had two holes like it was dropped onto a sharp edge - product inside was shattered in pieces on one side. Not sure if it was Walgreens or FedEx, but my money is on the former lol

  • Miriam Ignacio

TERRIBLE ! I open up my camera to check what battery I needed so I can buy more while I'm at it. They fell. One of the workers happen to pass by and ACCUSED me of stealing! I said I wasn't, that they fell, she brought an open pack of batteries and called more workers. "Want me to call security and check the cameras? It's gonna be embarrassing for you," she said. They weren't even the same batteries! No one apologized! She just let me going saying, "Well, okay, whatever," being very rude about it!

  • Xiaodong (Jen)

Worst pharmacy ever seen. Stupid policy wouldn't sell pills for cold/flu to foreigners. Yay this company's philosophy=all Americans are good people not like foreigners who would definitely cheat and mis use the pills for other purposes. What's even more disturbing is the attitude of the staff 'we are not like European pharmacies who would distribute any drugs to people'. Absolutely. You surely are not like European pharmacies. I'm so grateful that we don't have such stupid phamacy in our country.

  • Sabrina Johnson

Absolute worst pharmacy. Woefully understaffed. No matter what time of day, you will wait in line 30-60 minutes just to drop off your prescription. Then they'll tell you how long it'll take take to fill it, but unless you sit right there and wait, you'll wait in the same line again to pick it up. Customer service reps don't know what they're doing, and patients have to argue with them for 10-15 minutes to get what they need. Really slows down the line. Wild incompetence.

  • Julie Sanchez

Former employer , they dont care about employees, the ass. Manager at the time Eric screamed at me in front of customers, and for that reason i left the work site, I called to get info for my w-2 a week ago Ms Gail she works there said girl just go on the website. Very rude , even the store manager and most leads. The bearly got security i had a lot of incidents where people would just come in and jack stuff and they will scream at me because i didnt do nothing about it.

  • Ashley H

Slow and Horrible service. They lack on organizing and service. Their line is always long and very disorganized, and to top of that it’s slow. They don’t understand their clients too. And their parking is being misused most of the parking lot is filled with cars going to the Taco Stand & not for the walgreens customer. It’s frustrating to look for parking when it’s being misused. They need to enforce some rules or have someone take care of the parking. Time was wasted!!

  • P P

don't go in this store the old lady name is gale I don't know if she is a manager. So this is the reason I don't like this store I'm trying to buy 24pcs of candy bar and she said what??? she want to limit me to buy the candy bar and she said if the items are sale u can't used coupon. And I'm just walk out the store b4 I got mad. This girl she don't know what she was talking about and she so mean lady. All people here are unprofessional and the store look nasty.

  • Albert Pena

I got into los angles greyhound and need to find the walgreens. I was on hold for over a hour and found out the pharmacy was at lunch. I have seen the pharmacy eat lunch at the desk. I was dished of four times from customer service the shocking issue is when she is talking smack about me I heard every word. I can't believe there such disregard and lack of respect for the customer. To make the words be heard loudly is don't Shop there again.

  • Megan Kennedy

This is the WORST Walgreens to fill prescriptions at. I literally stood in line for over 30 minutes to pick up 1 prescription after 8pm! They are busy all the time, doesn’t matter what time you go. They are always short staffed. It’s insane. I will gladly travel to another Walgreens for faster service. For being a 24 hour location with 24 hour pharmacy hours they really need to staff better. It’s a high volume store.

  • suzette madriaga

You have to brace yourselves up to one of the worst pharmacy experiences in your entire life. Start with the outrageously long line, impolite and ill-mannered staff, and most of all, uncaring pharmacy staff to paying customers which may probably comprise of sick patients trying to get a refill of their prescription medications. Walgreens should consider giving their pharmacy staff a good Customer Service overhaul.

  • Steph T

I don’t understand how the pharmacy staff made it through college. Whoever runs this operation is inadequate. I came here to get my dogs seizure medication filled and the pharmacy only had 14 tabs in stock so that’s all they gave me. So I come back to try to get the rest of them and they will not give me the rest of them. I have been here over an hour. I keep having me circle back through the drive-through.

  • XW

Go to this store if you wanna ruin your day. Super long wait even with appointment (what's the point of making appointment then??) The store itself looks desolate and nobody's organizing the shelves. Plus arrogant staff with no service at all. Worst part is the customers, lots of sketchy and rude people. Got yelled and cursed by a shaggy guy for no reason last time I went there. Glad I left there alive.

  • e pdlp

Thank God for this 24 hour pharmacy. I suffer from epilepsy and was in a life or death situation because my prescription had expired and had to go to the ER and get one. Thanks to the doctor I had my prescription but all the pharmacies were closed and the ones opened didn't have my life or death medication but this 24 hour blessing. I can't thank you enough. May God bless you all.

  • Marc Samson

complete utter incompetence. As a prescriber we communicate with pharmacists on a daily basis. This location is staffed by incompetent staff that leaves you on hold for 10 minutes, then hang up on you. When you do finally get a pharmacist, they screw up the prescription and send their patients away empty handed and dont even bother to call the physician back. Avoid at all costs

  • Mariana Cruz

THEY HAVE DUMB SECURITIES !! ( the women and white men) ! THEY SHOULD DO A BETTER JOB , ACCUSING ME AND MY FRIENDS OF STEELING THINGS AND BANNED US FROM THE STORE WHEN WE PROVE THEM WRONG !! LIKE PLEASE HOW YOU BAND SOMEONE WHO DIDN'T DO NOTHING ?!! I SAY FIRE THEM BEFORE I TELL MY DAD TO DO SOMETHING AND HE IS A REAL COP UNLIKE THEM SECURITY LADY CALMING SHE IS A COP

  • SLAP J

I was here full filling a makeup order on Uber for a client and Eileen was the nicest employee who helped me find all 19 items with no hesitation. This is the type of customer service I'd like to see at every single store. Me being a man and fulfilling a makeup order I thought may have me feeling awkward and afraid of messing up. She elevated all the stress. Thank you so much

  • cineflux

pharmacy is pretty awful. One time waited 1 hour and a half hours only in the end for them to tell me they don't have 2 of my medications. Those two also being the most urgent. They took no responsibility and said well you can go to to another pharmacy and that was that. unfortunately they are one of the only. 24 hour pharmacies close by or I would never return

  • Tamara Malone

This is the ABSOLUTEY WORST WALGREENS pharmacy on planet Earth extremely understaffed no one is smiling its like they ALL dread coming to work I haven't been here in years and I know now why! Ghetto is an understatement and a compliment at the same time! IT'S PATHETIC NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE WILL I EVER COME BACK RUN DON'T WALK OUT U ALL BEEN WARNED!

  • Ada C

This is my go to Walgreens! Jose at the photo prints department is fantastic. If your photos don’t turn out okay, which can happen when ordering them online, Jose will fix them immediately! Just remember to bring the raw files with you, so it can be done. Thanks Jose for being so professional and your great customer service. We are lucky to have you!

  • Lauree

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place is understaffed and overcrowded. You will wait longer than you want every time you go, no matter the time of day there will be a huge line. It was next to my house so I dealt with it but if you have the option, STAY AWAY!!! I would wait in the drive-thru sometimes for 30min and inside is worse.....

  • Scott Tran

Please also read the review on Yelp. This place is terrible. The lines and wait for the pharmacy is extra long because the staff is incompetent. They also lie about when your medication will be ready so you will go there and then get trapped in a long line with long waits. Read all the other reviews. They all have the same theme. Don’t come here!

  • Luis Alvarado

Today I went to the store for products, and an employee, a man with brown skin, thin, laughing hair, height 5.7 ”, made fun of me for not speaking English, and when I arrived at the checkout to pay, he realized that I knew English and I try to apologize, but there is no reason for him to make fun of Latinos for not knowing English (personal )

  • Sara Murphy

This pharmacy is a nightmare. I have a very basic medication that should be easily filled, and yet I manage to wait a crazy amount of time each time I go. I dropped my prescription off at 11am and was told 30 minutes and to come back later. I came back at 6pm and had to wait 40 minutes in the pharmacy. Terrible service. I’m switching pharmacies.

Just left from here horrible service they just kicked someone out for no reason then showed me my nick name on he's name tag which is angel one employee, while security was harassing did not feel safe or comfortable this store is low rated for a serious reason clean it up hire new people cashiers and security!!! Dont want to see a show!!!

  • aWhisperOnly

I had 2 interactions with 2 pharmacists dealing with prescriptions for my daughter just out of the hospital. There was a problem with one prescription and through persistence they fixed the problem. Both showed genuine concern and went out of their way to help. Beyond professional they were both kind and caring. Good job!!!

  • Ricky Diaz

Literally never posted a review before but the customer service there is awful… asked a lady if she worked there (she definitely did) and she rudely said no and kept working… I’m not sure how she’s still hired there but maybe they need the help lol. She was in the back working on the sunglasses fixture for what it’s worth.

  • Luke Beavers

Have been on the phone for over an he to check on my prescriptions. I’ve been hung up on 3 times by the pharmacy and when I called the store to let them know I was being hung up on the they put me on hold and disconnected me, TWICE! Would love to discuss this further with corporate as I’ve also been treated rudely.

  • EZ Singh

very poor customer service I went there on 10/21/2015 at 10:05 p.m. the cashier name MARTHA was rude and unprofessional. she look at customers like if they are begging her for stuff. I go there all the time as it is right next to my home and everyone else is nice. she should not work there if she wanna be racist.

  • Hime Morbucks

Came in around 430 to get two prescriptions for pain and I was told I'd have to wait till about 6 to 630. I waited and called at 645 and they told me a few more mins. It's now 730 and dark out and it shouldn't take this long for pain meds. I need them today not tomorrow. Legend has it I'll be waiting till....

  • j

Place sucks. The pharmacy technicians are wildly incompetent and will have you waiting for long periods of time for your prescription. It takes the skill of a monkey to fill prescription bottles and confirm name and address. Clearly this place hires people that have not evolved from single celled organisms.

  • Riley Fair

On hold and keep getting put on hold by your pharmacy 45 minutes later, still no answer, I’m diabetic and it’s imaprtive I get my, insilun and sensors, I’m completely disappointed, and will be moving my life saving meds to another pharmacy ASAP Walgreens is progressively getting worse month by month.

  • Fab Montano

Very uncaring staff. I felt like asking them a question was intolerable to them. 3 staff were rude when I asked a question. I can only say that it's a reflection of the management. Obviously they have problematic customers and so they've categorized everyone the same. I'll take my business elsewhere.

  • Sharon Christopher

Terrible customer service-- I've been coming here for over a year now, but I've waited to leave a bad review, hoping they would improve. However, if anything it's gotten worse. Lines are out of control, staff is unresponsive--consistently horrible service. I want the hours back that I've wasted here!

  • Love

The cashier told me I couldn’t do a split payment between two cards forcing me to spend the cash I needed to have a place to stay tonight. I’ve never heard of something like that and he didn’t even try to ask someone else for help. It’s really disappointing and I needed the couple food items I had.

  • Sean Teague

Lousy. Took most of my lunch break trying to get them to unlock three different items, two of which they took the front and then took their sweet time trying to find while the line grew behind me. Terrible service at a crawling pace. They should hire people who use their eyes and ears for once.

  • Joe Gomez

Very nice place to go shopping for everything medical and health and beauty. They offer good deals to their extra customers. The only complaint I have is that the pharmacy doesn't cover my medical insurance Anthem Blue Cross so If they'd fix that then I'd be a full time customer for all things.

  • Ken Corsino

I love this Walgreen's! If I can't find what I need at CVS I go here. They always have a great array of holiday items. The problem is that they have plenty of registers but never enough staff to handle the volume of business. There is always a long wait, don't expect to get in and out quickly.

  • S P

They do not except return nor change to another manufacturer of the same medicine even though I can't take the drug for some allergic ingredient so did not take any. They just asked me to receive new prescription. Rite Aid and CVS accept return or change to another manufacturer if they have.

  • joselin v

Horrible! I should press charges against the security employees.. FIRE THEM before I take this to court. Was humiliated and WRONGFULLY ACCUSED of stealing!! When I HAD THE RECIPT IN MY HANDD!!! So infuriating! By reading the other reviews it seems it’s not the first time..

  • Psn_Philldutra

The pharmacy line is ridiculous long and they only have 1/2 cashier it takes almost 20 minutes for each person as they need to walk people through in how to use the medication. They need more staff this was supposed to be quicker as people are in need of their mess.

  • Franco Sama

Employees are miserable. They seem to gout if their way to be rude and two of them walked away from me and intentionally ignored me when I approached them for assistance. Employees here make DMV employees seem like they work at the happiest place on earth.

  • Candy Marsh

It's pretty tough for a drugstore to get 5 stars but this one is definitely better than the overall Google rating. There are a lot of haters here. The pharmacy isn't perfect but it's a good-sized Walgreens and they have a lot of items and sales.

  • Lacresia Conner

I been calling and everytime I call I am on hold and then someone picks up I hear them breathing and I know they hear me when I say hello but they just hung up and this been going on for one hour that's like 5time I have called and they did this

  • Lei Raiza Zervoulakos

Tried calling them to see if they have Girdasil since I went here last time, was in line for a while, only to be told they are out of stock. Was on hold for 20 mins and was the next in line to talk to the pharmacist and ended up being dropped.

  • Stephanie Korbelik

the pharmacy is the worst pharmacy i’ve ever been to. none of the staff seems to know what they’re doing. the wait is always extremely long. their time quotes are always extremely off. i’ve never seen a happy customer here. absolute garbage.

  • Sky Blacklist

This Walgreens is listed as 24 hours yet over the past 2 years a minimum of 50% of the times I've come by here at night it's closed with a sign saying it will re open at 5am or 6am. I walk so it's really frustrating needing to go to the

  • Jeneliya Dusus

I was looking for a medicine that would cure my headache, good thing I found this drug store. The pharmacist was so helpful and even gave me tips in order for me to lessen my headaches! I am so satisfied with the service they provided!

  • Lucianna Alvarez

Worst damn Walgreens ever. Waited in the drive thru line for 20 mins. Had to beep the horn and press the call button to be told 2 people were ahead of me. Ridiculous! Never had this happen at my regular Walgreens on Woodman in Arleta.

  • Chris Bartley

Went all the way over to this location from echo park because of an emergency and unlike the info from google said it was closed now maybe I’m wrong but seems like something like this would be updated on google just in case

  • Sarah Palmatory

Pharmacy line always seems to be an hour wait. Scripts are often not ready when they say they will be. Pharmacy staff takes out their frustrations over being short-staffed on customers. So done with the 6th st Walgreens.

  • story for foodies

The night pharmacist Thanh is very nice! The staff there goes above and beyond for their patients, and it saddens me to see all the rude and impatient people that mistreat the staff. Thank you for being 24 hour !

  • M J

I call pharmacy and I am put on hold for 10 minutes and when my calls finally gets through I hear them but they didn't even want to talk to me... HORRIBLE... I call back and there is 3 callers ahead of me …

  • Lucy

I would give this store -5 for accusations of stealing from security guards who called themselves “cops”, after showing them proof of not stealing they banned my friends and I. Ashamed and embarrassed for them

  • Jenniffer Orellana

If I only could give them 0 stars I would. I waited for more than 15 min for them to take my prescription at the end I decided to leave because they saw me standing there and they wouldn't even say something.

  • D Eck

Walgreens is cutting back on the variety of products so I was looking for a finger sleeve but the only one they had their had a gel pack in it although I did purchase previously without the

  • Siddharth Ambatipudi

One of the worst pharmacy experiences I have ever had. Waited for over an hour for a Covid test and the line has not moved. When I try to call, I get put on hold and no one ever answers.

  • Sean Oh

Horrible F store. They don't restock promptly and cashiers are all lazy and take their time and then never come back this happens every day. I guess the owner doesn't pay them right.

  • and S7

Most employees are kind here but management is a joke. Anytime I’ve needed help they come up with new/different excuses of why not to help and then contradict themselves days later.

  • Trevor Widger

Refuses to answer the phone. Will leave you on hold for as long as 30 minutes and simply hang up on you. Someone needs to contact corporate on this trashy location. Embarrassing.

  • Leonoor Koster

THANK YOU SO MUCH to Jasmin!! She helped me out by setting up my phone for me. She was so patient and kind and she managed to do it when I had no clue. You are my hero! :)

  • Georgiann Browne

Visiting from out of state. Mr. Carth Rx manager was awesome, amazing & timely @ getting my prescription filled. Would definitely be my hometown Walgreens.without a doubt!

  • Shelah Blanco

I just came from Walgreens this morning and the cashier didn't give me my receipt and I'm missing few items and the snicker bags I bought was opened …

  • Gmail Member

Yo this pharmacy is a mess everyone here hates there jobs and are super rude. I highly recommend if you feel like getting treated like dirt to go to another pharmacy.

  • T.H OH (Sa Sin Dang)

They need extra employees. So slow over waiting every-time. That is one of big issues pharmacy. But who work in wireless do they trying to help you best they Can.

  • John Kim

Absolute worse customer service, they never answer their phone and are unhelpful. Avoid at all cost. The worst. I'd rather get my prescriptions from Skid Row.

  • Liliane Dias Savalas

Big shot out to Inna, pharmacy assistant. She had patience to look into all possible way to save me money , while being professional, kind and helpful. Thanks

  • Candy Patricia

Employees are nice. The manager is what was rude for no reason. Didn’t like how she talked to the employee in front of customers. Seemed very unprofessional.

  • Elliot Brook

Very slow. I scheduled a Covid appt. They were 70 mins late/behind. For kids, that’s just unacceptable. They don’t have the patience to wait that long.

  • Latinladyav Pacheco

We printed pictures there & they were so easy & fast! Employee Erwin was amazing & very informative. Helped a lot! We will definitely be back! …

  • Fatima Alzanan

The slowest place on earth, I think everyone is sleepwalking cuz there is no way these employees are awake. I'm so annoyed by their services

  • Lauren Megan

From my experience, Martell is the best employee. He really went above and beyond. Great person to have working at the register.

  • Sangwoo Oh

Drive through takes forever. It takes at least 15 minutes per car. They should assign someone dedicated to the drive through.

  • Jacqueline Trybe

The employees were helpful & nice, had lil problem with the register - store was out of a lot of things

  • Romio Tote

The worst Pharmacy in LA. Pharmacists are not talented. They lack a lot of professional skills.

  • Amelia Carpenter

Walgreens is Walgreens. It's close and convenient but their prices went up pretty high!!

  • Esteb Anri

When though the website says they are open 24/7, they don't actually open until 7am.
