What a terrible night. Staff have no customer service at all. Food was raw and just disgusting. I booked 3 weeks ago on the web site. Received my confirmation email so was happy Father’s Day dinner was sorted. Turned up 10min prior to our booking time, went into the bistro area checked all the reserved tables and couldn’t see our name. Went to the bar staff and his reply was, look at the tables and find your name! Went and checked all tables again and definitely no table for us. Went back to the bar and then got asked did you book? I reply yes and show my conformation email his reply was ohhh you booked online we don’t get them! You will need to just go find a table! We make our way out and had to go sit out in the beer garden in the freezing cold with a baby and 2 young children. As you can imagine I was annoyed but didn’t want to ruin my husbands night so just tried to disregard the lack of customer service. Went up to order placed the entree order went to start with mains to be told No! they need to be ordered separately as they can’t tell when things will come out. Entrees come out. loaded fries 6/10, bruschetta 8/10, pork fritters 2/10, cob loaf 1/10 and was not the one that was on the menu. We then place our order for mains. Beef burger was dry and no flavour chicken burger was raw along with the kids chicken nuggets and chips being very under cooked. When we returned the raw chicken burger the staff gave attitude and asked what else we had eaten. Very sad and annoying night $180 sent for a family of 7 and KFC would of done better. To think we got married here 10 years ago. Will never go back and will tell anyone wanting to go NOT TOO.

Lovely place to sit down and chat with a drink. But not to eat. This was the second time going there because of a birthday. The first time was so bad! We ordered 2 pramies. Both parmies where tiny, soggy, tinned cold pasta sauce on top with some melted cheese. Even the veggies wasnt cooked properly. Worst pramy ive ever had in my life. This time omg... we ordered roast of the day, bangers and mash and spaghetti Bolognese. Roast of the day was with pork meat. The pork was 30% fat and only 2 tiny pieces that fit in half your palm and again veggies not cooked properly half where raw and the other half over cooked and dry. Worst one ive had so far. The bangers and mash oh dear. No gravy, mash with absolutely no seasoning so it tasted bad and extremely cheap sausages, which make coles and wolloworth sasuages seem so much better. Now heres the worse one of all.. spaghetti bolognese. My poor child had this. Cold spaghetti with nonseasoned fatty mince and 2 teaspoons of sauce... ive never seen or had tasted something so bad in my life. Most of the table who order didnt finish there food. Because of how bad it was. The kids play area inside was all these broken arcade machines and absolutely filthy and never been moped, whiped down or looked after. There where even holes in the wall, access to power points for the kiddies and while it was raining we witnessed electrical sockets near the roof having water pouring onto it right next to the kids play area. We notified staff and they shrugged there shoulders and said not my problem lol! Yeahhhh no. The only thing they didnt get wrong is the drinks and the entertainment was nice.

Let's start with the positive first: if you're a fan of cheesy horror movies, this is the place for you. The outdated decor and tired rooms, the layer of dust, and the heavily stained carpet make the perfect setting. Throw in the massive blood stain we found under a bed, and you're on for a winner. The negative: By far, one of the worst hotel experiences; this is not a 4-star hotel. The whole accomodation part of the hotel seems like it hasn't had any attention for the last 10 years. While I was able to get a replacement room, the staff had nothing in the way of apology for the blood stain (we moved the bed to be next to the wall for our 2 year old). The replacement room had empty bottles in it, layer of dust and questionable stains. The second replacement was only marginally better. There was also a guest who sounded like they were having some drug related issues. 2 nights in a row of him yelling down the hallway makes for an unsafe feeling stay. The food served from the restaurant was average. We didn't want to eat there for our second nights stay. Will not ever stay again and do not recommend anyone else to stay here either. If you chance staying here, there are no instructions on the front door directing you to the bar for check in.

Old, tired, stained carpets everywhere. Cleanliness was very poor.

With the blood stained floor and yelling down the hallway, my family felt quite unsafe.

Tucked away in a peaceful, quiet and rural area, this old pub with the Tudor style facade makes a lovely change from your basic brick pub found on any suburban main street. This place boasts a huge outdoor beer garden with a playground, a small games arcade with pinball machines and a couple of the usual arcade games. There is also quite a large function room. While some might say it’s dated, I say it lends charm in this ever changing and sometimes cold world! We had lunch here and enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak sandwich and some delicious bruschetta! The staff are down to earth and friendly. I would highly recommend this place as a weekend getaway while you explore the area, visiting places like Warragamba Dam. Even if you are just on a day trip. Stop here for lunch!

Usually, there are no issues at all here. This time, not so good. As we know from going there many times they have all day dining. We arrived at 3.30 so the lunch rush would be over. It wasn't busy, plenty of seating inside and out. Heaps of parking. Went to order only to be told they were closed. We asked what happened to all-day dining? Were told they had too many functions happen and were running out of stock so closed early. Ok, it's that time of year and heaps going on, but either think ahead or remove all-day dining for this period. We came up for a day out from down the coast, so we were fairly peeved off. I'd suggest to anyone thinking of just dropping in to call first and make sure they are going to stay open.

They used to be good here. I don’t know what’s happened since but we waited over an hour for our food to come out even tho there weren’t very many people there. I seen one of the girls who was serving at the till dealing with money walk in the back with no gloves on grabbing hand fulls of salad to put on people‘s plates ,, the guy was heating up the meat for our nachos in the microwave and all our food came out semi warm but more cold, when I asked for a refund because the service all together was disgusting! The man said he couldn’t as we had apparently eaten more than half of our food even though the portion they gave us was already very small and neither of us had eaten much. If I could give this place no stars I would, I highly recommend going somewhere else if you can

I've had a good experience here working away from home this is a comfortable place to stay close to job site, most of the people around the area are warm and friendly other than the crack head that was lurking around one night but these days it's apparently everywhere, Although looking at some of the judging seems a bit like a mixed grill this place needs to be supported and I say this because there never seems to be any money in the atm or the safe to be able to get out or pay out, could be the owner taking the piss though

Someone ...in the Hotel (?Cheryl) put our booking down for our Probus group of 51for the NEXT day.. The staff were cool, calm (outwardly) & within a very relatively short time, considering they weren't expecting us for another 25 hours, got all our various meals out hot & delicious. As usual..Everything happens for a reason & we spent some terrific time having a few, chatting & getting to know people we'd never really spoken to at length before.. We then visited Warragamba dam on our coach before heading home. 10/10 to the kitchen staff who were smiling & very competent throughout!!

Gordon Ramsay…. Hotel Hell Australia - Season 1 Episode 1, get to the Wallacia Hotel please! In all seriousness, it’s not actually that bad. The rooms are ok, you won’t die in your sleep and there are no bed bugs. I just think it needs a bit more love and attention. The food is pub food, can’t go wrong with the Parma/Snitzel. I don’t recommend anything else beyond that. The pub is ok, half the TVs don’t work and there are cables running all over the walls. It looks like it’s been kinda renovated and kinda not. I would stay here again but $150 a night is steep for what you get.

If I could give less stars I would, this review is about the graze bistro. Quick version do not waste your money, we went to celebrate my elderly mothers birthday, what a disappointment. We got a steak sandwich, brisket burger, a garlic pizza and a kids fish and chips. The steak sandwich was cold and not cook properly. The brisket burger had a chunk of meat on a burnt hard bun, the meat was not chewable and you could not bite into it. The garlic pizza was bitter and inedible it was served on a broken plate, the kids fish and chips came with a small lemon wedge that was old and dry, nothing was fresh. It had to be the worst food I have ever had.
The young man at the bar was friendly. Food though..ordered garlic bread to come out first, then mains of steak sandwich and the crumbed cutlets. Mains sat on the counter for awhile, waiting for the garlic bread to cook. The steak was supposed to be scotch fillet(very thin, tiny piece), was cold as was the bacon. I returned it to the kitchen staff and informed the girl, it was cold. They reheated the meat, left it sitting at the counter, with no indication that this was for me. I timed 7 minutes before asking for a refund. Staff in the kitchen were rude. I received a refund. Very disappointing.

Horrible food! Never had such a disgusting meal any where, as this place. I ordered chicken schnitzel and the schnitzel was so greasy it was almost swimming in grease. I blotted my food off with many paper towels trying to make it edible but it was just far too greasy. Chips were horrible, gravy was a microwave mess and cold. Not sure who you have preparing these meals but I think one would have to be drunk to eat here. Expensive for garbage. Ps. Not sure what the mystery color flecks in my schnitzel crumbs were but they were also off putting. I threw it out. I wouldn't even feed this to my dog. Won't ever go back.
This pub has a lot of potential but it’s empty most nights compared to its capacity, which when you see who their current clientele are, lack of entertainment, bland kitchen food etc, it’ll make sense why people stay away. Shame really because there’s a lot of newcomers to the area with the new airport etc that this pub obviously doesn’t want to cater for. Hopefully someone bigger comes along and buys it out and cleans it up. Would gladly spend more time and money when that happens, until then though I’ll be keeping my family away.
Have to go to the bar to check in, the front door is locked an no signage to actually say were to check in at. Room is okay size although drawers still had someone's used bandaids left it it with a note with contact information on it. Shower gel in shower was empty. An hand wash only had a small amount in it Chair in room also looked to have had some liquid thrown all over it

Waited over 30 mins for fish and chips + burger + calamari salad. None out of the three were good. Burger meat was burnt. Calamari was good but the salad has no dressing and tasted like a Coles bag. Kids fish and chips the fish was over cooked so it was like eating rubber and no sauce provided. Lots of seating and good kid’s playground. Won’t be back here again unless I’m desperate to eat coal.

First time going out for lunch in a long time with my little family, looking forward to our meals, Hubby ordered Chicken Parmigiana however was disappointed to find baby maggots crawling after lifting the cheese and ham of the chicken. We hardly ate any of our lunch. Positive the pub refunded our meals. Can’t get it out of my mind of the maggots and feel sick thinking about it. First time there and will be the last.

I love the wallacia because i won a luigi teddy bear from the claw machine. I had some very tasty beers. Because beers are tasty. Im not sure if you knew that. But they are..... the kitchen exhaust provides ample grease fumes to lubricate the slippery dip.

What a waste of a great History filled building!! The food and drinks are expensive, which I don't mind paying for food as long as it's tasty...extremely tasteless, rump was dry, yet fatty, Salad was a joke, bit of lettuce with tablespoon of grated carrot and cabbage. Oh and 1 slice of cucumber cut in half, chips were nice though. Again, this place has great potential if you upgrade the food standard and prices!
The brisket loaded fries was just fat, snitzel so over cooked it wasn’t eat able, the spaghetti bolognese was frozen and cold in the centre. The manager was upset we had stopped him from drinking so he gave a half refund on one of the orders and part refund on another and ignored the rest, he thought it had been half eaten because things had been moved on the plate. Sad as the venue has lots of potential.
Food was lovely. The staff are very friendly. We were there for an afternoon lunch. The kids were with us. The play area was great. The kids had a great time playing with other kids. No fights or arguments. The adults could enjoy a drink and some food and the live music on a Sunday afternoon and the kids were easily supervised within viewing distance. Can't fault the venue at all.
The food was great and the beer was ice cold! Excellent service from the staff and a very relaxed atmosphere for everyone young and old. Kids had fun at the play facilities while the adults can kick back with a drink and a feed. Highly recommend a visit to the wallacia hotel if you're in the area, driving through or visiting the Dam. Will definitely come again.

The pub was great. The drinks were great but the spaghetti Bolognese wasn’t even red would’ve been a lot better with even a tin of Diced tomatoes in it had no onion it was like leftover taco mince an a lot of water underneath in the spaghetti, or I guess that was sauce , yuk yuk yuk toke it back it was horrible never eating there again ,

There was no order of service at the bar, and the bartender’s nails were filthy. Staff at the bistro had not a lot of idea about whether or not kids packs are included with kids meals (they used to be, but three packs would have cost $7.50 tonight). Waiting for our food - the only way is up!

Great atmosphere, beer garden & cold beer. But the food was cold (a cold Parmy is never a good thing) they were having issues that day with the buzzers buzzing long before your order was ready or only half the order ready so perhaps my Parmy sat waiting for the buzzer

Wasn't even that busy, half the tables were empty. Will not be going back and would not recommend eating there to anyone. One star is being generous.

Had the worst steak of my life here. Got charged over 40 dollars for a T-bone which I ordered rare and it came out well done. They gave me another and it was rare but not seared and was a strange colour and odour, couldn't eat even half of it. The vege was also browning and not fresh
The chicken snitty was pretty dry and the kids play area should be condemned. The floor was so uneven and coming apart and dangerous no way should it be still open for kids.

Attended here to watch an amazing band called Skylark. They were full of energy and great covers of historical tracks. The service was great and the food was delicious. Buzzing environment with a friendly vibe.
The pub element and food is fantastic and very good value. The accommodation is pretty tired and there is a lot of road noise. The staff were fantastic and the beer garden and atmosphere is really positive.
Nice place but run out of sour cream for our nachos the first time we went there but the seafood basket was delicious, second time no veggies left not sure why but loaded fries with brisket was amazing!
