I'm a local here. I come here for just about any and everything. The last time I came here, I had to return my gaming head phones because they were not loud as I would prefer. So I went to customer service and spoke to the supposed store manager "Joseline". First off I am very humble and respectable. So I explained it to her. Not only was she annoyed and it was very obvious she didn't enjoy her job, but she wasn't wanting to take my return because the serial number didn't match the box serial number. It literally made no sense seeing how I bought them from that specific store. She told me she cannot do anything from here to call the manufacturer. So I went back to the electric part of the store where I had originally purchased it. I saw the guy who actually sold the headset to me. He was more than willing to help me and agreed that it made no sense for the number to match up because, the store doesn't open every item to check if all the serial numbers match up to the box numbers. At the end the store cashier helped me not the actual manager her self. I'm grateful for that cashier. I would hope that store manager "Joseline" can get her attitude in a more calm, understanding, less annoyed, and professional way. At the end it was actually very stressful and unprofessional but I'm very grateful for the cashier's help.

Noticeable increase in prices throughout the entire store. Many of the shelves were half empty. Of those remaining, lots of items now locked up behind sliding cases and you need to find an associate to open it (add upwards of 20 minutes to your shopping experience.) Was trying to use the restroom by Electronics since I had a shopping cart full of items and couldn't use the restroom in the front of the store without going through the checkout first but clearly the associate was in there hiding out or trying to run down the clock because after 10 minutes of waiting and not hearing anything, I started to move the cleaning cart out of the way thinking someone left it there and forgot about it. Soon as the cart made some noise I hear a guy start repeating "no, no, no, no, no!" Essentially telling me not to enter. After 10 more minutes of waiting for him to be done (still hearing no movement) I just went to the checkout lane so I could get home. Many associates standing around talking and noses in their phones but only two checkout lanes open. I refuse to go through self checkout anymore because I don't work for Wal-Mart and ringing up my purchase is definitely someone else's job! I'm pretty sure I'm done shopping at Wal-Mart.

Here's the bottom line: If you order from Walmart+ patronizing your local area Walmart store in the greater Phoenix metropolitan market, I suggest you DO NOT utilize this service(because it is sub-par compared to other delivery services like ShipT, or Instacart)! I had an issue at the onset of the summer season and was promised a $15 credit(which had expired prior to making a recent on-line order). It would have been nice if the representative at the time politely explain the credit would expire with-in 90 days(they did not). So I just spent the last 45 minutes on a call(transferred four times, then to some supervisor that said they couldn't help me and that they had other calls to take). They provided me with the customer service number (which is what I had called/contacted 45 minutes prior). Look if Walmart+ expects to make an impact in the fifth largest city in the country, then they need to do a better job. Granted, I will always patronize my local Supercenter, but be wary if you use Walmart+!

As an employee I can say it's hard for us workers because we tend to get a crowd of people that make demands rather than treat us as humans that also need respect. We work very hard and sometimes can't help that we're given order by supervisors that don't understand customer needs like we see them. We try our best. We have a good coach but but that doesn't mean people underneath then make the best of decisions and we get stuck with the anger from customers. Also, if I don't allow a customer to verbally assault me, they can easily call corporate and lie about me to get me fired and unfortunately this happens a lot at this location because people with money tend to make more demands. This never happened at my other store I worked at across town.

Don't buy laundry soap from this Walmart at east Thomas and 38th st. A lot of the laundry soaps are locked up. When u call for an associate they tell u it will be at customer counter. I had other shopping to do. When I was done shopping I went to the checkout and I told the cashier I had gain laundry detergent at customer counter. The gain that she brought out was not the one that I wanted it was the brand I wanted but not the size I want. The cashier says the gain size that you want is not back there. I don't understand why Walmart would lock up laundry soap there's no reason for it. So that means somebody else got the gain size that I wanted. People are so dishonest in the world today. Just be honest and everybody should get along.

Never have I ever had the worst experience with pick up, check in 30 Mins before as I was driving to the store told them my parking space and still waiting a half hour to get my order after it has been emailed to me that my order was ready, couldn’t call cause no one picked up the phone, go figure, went inside to see what’s going on, called the manager of the department and said it would be right out so why did I then wait another additional 30-45 mins in 98 degree weather running my car, the service is terrible, had to flag down a pick up deliverer and try to get the order I paid for 2 hours plus after i paid, terrible management

This Walmart has become my go-to for groceries and home supplies. I started using the pickup service months ago and quickly learned to love the efficient service I received. Not once has an order been wrong. Not once have I had to wait more than a few minutes. It is truly an impressive operation. The downsides to this particular Walmart are due to its location. Phoenix is a dirty city in general, but the strip that Walmart is in also has a Home Depot which attracts day workers. As a result, there is more trash than you would expect to see. Also, street congestion during rush hour makes access more difficult. Go during the day.

Horrible customer service by phone. They had me sitting for 5 minutes and 51 seconds with the phone ringing before the call was ended by something or someone other than myself, without having gotten through to any department. When I called back to a couple of different departments, I simply received a busy signal. Absolutely unacceptable. All while I'm trying to reach someone to ask about food I was able to purchase in store 8 days after the Best By date. The only light is the pharmacy associate who reached out to a manager for me, but, unsurprisingly, received no response.

Would give negative 0 stars if i could. This is the most uncouth Walmart i have ever been to. Associates need to be trained on not racial profiling and making the process to shop fair when a customer needs helps. If you need to lock up a $20 backpack, and it takes you 30 minutes to send someone to unlock it and then you want them to stand in yhe customer service line for another 30 minutes to pay for the backpack then go to anothet lane to pay for all the other items maybe you don't need a store in that location. Target would never. I'll be spending my money there.

Apparently, you can only get the tropical plantation 100% pure cold pressed avocado oil in the large size which is 51 Oz at a Walmart supercenter for Les than $15. So I was very happy to see not only the oil but a lot of other keto products. I'm including a few photos of what's available and I hope to see more soon especially in the meat and cheese departments. You're also seeing photos from a Sunday afternoon where a lot of families were in the store so I know it was going to be busy but it wasn't that bad now that they have the self-checkout areas ****!

I came to print out photos for my nephew birthday party but the machine never works then I received a texted saying" we call you when your photos are ready for pick up. So guess what? I never heard anything back from them...I also needed a costumize birthday cake from the bakery " Nobody was available to help! And I saw one black women on night shift she didn't want to deal with it! Also they put a sign up saying they're not doing costumize cakes becuz a machine is down...So I had get a birthday cake from somewhere else..

I did have a good review on here but we just visited this store and spent 30 minutes in the 20 items or less line when there was only 3 people in front of us. I think the sign on this Lane may need to be changed! Then for some reason they shut down self-scan so as we were leaving the checkout line went from register 8 all the way to the deli. Are you flipping kidding me do you have that many people shopping in your store and you can't have more than a couple lines open? What in the flip is going on at the store!

Always packed with people, always being stocked, with boxes everywhere in all aisles always, watched an employee chatting up a girl while a bunch of people needing help on self check out were stuck and line was growing rapidly he simply didn’t care lol on self service they recently went to only self serving check out but never more than a 1/4 of them operating causing huge lines.. parking lot is in horrible condition, weak clearance section, produce never is impressive, high prices, typical Walmart

This is not our local Wal-Mart, but we still found everything we needed. Today we were looking for cake pop ingredients and found dipping chocolates and cake mixes a plenty. Shelves were stocked, clean isles, friendly associates, bathrooms were in good shape, AND this one has a Cheese steak shop instead of the usual burger or sub sandwich place so that is worth half a star. Since there was extra security in the parking lot, it may not be the best place to leave things in the car unattended.

I understand that Walmart might be dealing with higher theft than usual due to the state of the economy but it doesn’t give the right of their employees to nearly assault folks walking out of the door to check receipts. You have cameras and security to watch for shoplifters. There’s no reason to stop everyone, including those that were just assisted through checkout with their purchases. The store is also disheveled, dirty, and employees that are unhelpful and rude.

So for a Walmart as big as this one I have not been more disappointed in the back electric counter. There was only 2 people working the registers. And there was about 12 people in line myself. Included the employees would walk away with another customer and leave lines of people standing there waiting on them, and they didn't appear to be in any kind of hurry or rush to get through and get everybody out of there. Very disappointing for a Walmart supercenter.

Really cleaned up from my last visit two years ago. Went in for the pharmacy and was pleased to see more employees to provide service in the store and wait for cashier was not bad at all. Store was clean and well organized, so did some shopping i had not planned to do. The pharmacy service was quick and easy pick up. Good on-line APP and text updates as needed but not annoying like some stores & pharmacies that call and text 3-4 times in a day.

We just received our delivery order and you delivered moldy cheese into my home. This is usually unacceptable and more so, since I'm allergic to mold. We tried to call your store, to let you know that you really need to go sanitize around your brick cheese display, but no one answers the phone. No idea how your grocery picker person, and whoever else handled this before leaving the store, didn't see this but it's pretty disgusting.

It's good but they gotta trust people a little more, I mean, it's already locked up, and you ask for an item that you gotta sit there and wait 15 To 20 minutes for somebody to come. They should at least trust you once They open the case and give it to, you know, instead of having to go through the inconvenience Of looking for It at the front Of the store? God, you guys make enough money. Just trust us a little bit of consumers.

Made a quick stop here to get a few food items and auto parts. The produce area had a very good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Automotive could be a little bit better organized but I got a great battery and a really good price, at a time of night when all other stores selling them would be closed. Ample checkout lines were open. A rarity for Wal-Mart's. Hopped in and express lane and was out in a flash.

This store is in a tough location. Love that the manager can be seen managing every time I am there from hustling carts to customer service. His leadership by example is evident. There is a tall redhead guy(sorry, I have not caught his name always greets me if I am in his area and asks if there is anyway he can provide.) Always great service here. Our favorite self checkout lady offers up “have a blessed day”.

That's Walmart what can I say like every Walmart I have been to nothing special in particular about this one except what can I say there's nothing special about this one as usual services durable items are everywhere abundant yep they have motor oil and filters and watch armbands I mean hit me up if you have any other questions holy but I doubt that you will not find what you are looking for

I'm a frequent customer of this Walmart and this was very frustrating the fact that I made a line to pay for my items and there were no plastic bags for the items and when I asked the employees their answer was we don't have any. I don't know if Walmart is trying for us to pay for bags or employees are being lazy, but this issue is making me think twice about going back to this place.

Stopped in to get some transmission fluid but I've never had a problem there found everything I need just great parking fine they could put the handicap places back in and they used to have a bunch of them now they got hold of any and it's hard to get a spot in the handicap but they do have them but you have to work for them other than that seems to be an okay place.

Not a bad shopping experience. This location is stocked well. They had tons of Clearance items on my visit. Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and efficient! I observed an off duty police officer as security. I highly recommend this location to anyone needing some groceries, clothes, shoes, home decor, electronics, and more!

It's always pretty busy at this location, and use to be a long line and wait to checkout like the kind of wait that your ice cream is melted by the time you make it to pay. But not any more the way they have the new self checkout set up works , I didn't see a single station back up with more then one person in wait & that was at peak hr

This Walmart is alright. Waaayy more cleaner than the one on the west side I can say that at least lol but the employees here take their job a lil too serious! Thank god I changed my life cause I wouldve gotten arrested a few times over these females smh but other than that I love where it's located cause gas prices is crazy

Big Walmart with everything you need it in. Food is on the more expensive end of things and most can be found cheaper at other stores, but non-food items are fairly decently priced. Overall, not a bad place to buy things, but will be costly if used as your regular grocery store so keep that in mind if choosing to shop here.

8:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning and they can't even get the customers through the checkout lines. They have countless self checkout machines but only a handful of them are operating. If you're going to invest in the technology to to have self checkout instead of hiring real people, then at least have the machines work.

I am here first thing in the morning and find employees parking close to the building were customers should be able to park. I am handicapped( an amputee ) and often when I get a ride to your store struggle to find parking close enough. A lot of store don’t want their employees parking so close to the building.

I don't usually post for these kinds of places, for me it's the customer service. I've always have a great experience with them,keep up the good work. The employees work hard for their money. Most non employees don't realize how it can be difficult to work in customer service. Be kind and smile.thank you

This place must be so short staffed that they couldn't even open a register on a Friday night when both self check outs had lines going all the way back into the aisles. I went to buy some ear buds in electronics and the guy (while opening the case for someone) said that he was too busy to help me.

This walmart's Pick up area is Terrible! Every time we check in it's a long wait. Today my husband checked in and waited 30 minutes, saw an associate asked him if they were getting the order and he said he wasn't checked in. I call B/S because i checked him in! Check your pick up system Walmart

The people who work in the photo booth are rude and lazy as hell!!! If you connect your phone to the cable to print out pictures the employees will tell you the pictures aren't in the system or they won't print come back tomorrow morning. They don't want to do their jobs smfh

Don’t order Walmart Delivery for your groceries here. Their GPS is messed up and will deliver incorrectly. Their drivers do not answer their phone. No one answers their phone in the Delivery department. 3rd time groceries have been misdelivered. I’m over this location.

Not good at all. Shelves half empty. Unless your willing to work for free and check your own groceries out on a self service check out you will wait at least 30mins. Carpark is a disgrace with shopping carts all over the place. Think it will be target from now on.

The cans I picked up were all damaged. It looks like Walmart uses the online pickup service to dump all their bad cans on customers. I worked at a local food bank that wasn't allowed to receive or distribute cans like these because of potential health concerns.

The photo department in this Walmart is always disappointing. Since 3 days I’m coming to get my passport size photos and they sending us back. We came 4 times with our 3 months old baby and still no concern. Bad customer service and rude behavior.

There were 4 rider carts there when I shopped there, ALL OF which were broken, and only one that did work which was being used. One of the rider carts had no battery, one didn't even have a charging chord at ALL, and two had their chords

We order almost all the groceries we get. It's so convenient, but they occasionally give us stuff we didn't order or don't get some things we ordered. Walmart has almost everything you could need at a reasonable price!!

There is a lot of parking, but there's always a lot of cars. It doesn't take long to find a spot, as people are in & out all day.
