The worst cashier service ever. Even though I paid for 3 of their reusable bags the cashier would not bag my stuff. I did not know why he wasn’t bagging my stuff because the other Walmarts bag your stuff. He just let my stuff pile up. I asked why he wasn’t bagging my stuff and he responded, that he isn’t require to. I asked since when he said, “since we stopped using plastic bag.” I said well the other Walmarts (3 other) that I go to bag the stuff when u go through the cashier line. He said, well they don’t.” I said so next time I have a large other I should just go to self check out because I’ll have to bag my stuff anyways, is that right? He chuckled and said sure. Then I asked for his manager, and he chuckled and said oh he’s right over there. I Have NEVER experienced such a RUDE cashier. I was both upset and confused because I was there 3 week prior and a lovely cashier bagged my stuff, into my own bags and he also bagged my mothers. Long story short, I Spoke to the manager that was there, and he said that if you are using their bag they bag your stuff, but otherwise they don’t I told the manager that even though I had just purchased 3 of their large bags, which the cashier charged me for he still refused to bag my purchase as his job didn’t not require him to. The manager said, “ if you’re purchasing our bags then we bag your stuff.” I said I just bought 3 of your bags and your cashier still refused to bag my order. The manager simply said “ well then I apologize as he should have.” If you’re looking for good cashier service DO NOT GO to the Walmart on Macleod Trail. According to the manager, if you bring your own bags even if it’s one of their own no one will bag you stuff. If you are going through the cashier, you MUST buy their bags at the time and then maybe someone will bag your stuff. Really unfortunate cause this cashier and store manager have made those who actual provide good service look bad.
So rude. My spouse and I went at 7 at night and saw there were no tills open which results to self-check out being chaotic. The employees are stressed out and SO rude. We were leaving and we forgot the receipt at till 2 so I rushed back but there was already an other person using it. I asked the customer if they saw my receipt, they said no. So, I asked the worker and she looked at me as if I was from an other planet. She told me to go ask the customer that was at till 2 to see if she had it and I told her I already did…. She looked at me as if she was lost and walked away… I was walking towards the exit and heard an other employee yell “STOP”, which I did. She asked “did you pay!?” I told her everything that just happened. The other employees that saw us pay didn’t even intervene. The worker looked at me and just walked away shaking her head as if I bothered her. My boyfriend and I looked at each other not knowing what to do… My boyfriend and I saw her walk over to the computer area and we walked over to her to show her our statement (on our bank account) and wanted to ask her if there was a way for her to help us get our receipt. After she helped one customer with cash, she turned her back towards us (completely ignoring us) to help the person on the till. We were behind her waiting patiently! These employees are stressed and frustrated. They need their cashiers back and maybe be taught how to handle customers. I’ve worked in retail before and understand the stress but I’ve never treated someone like this, especially when they were polite like we were. I also heard other customers complain about the service here while we were leaving. We normally go to the Deerfoot meadows Walmart but we figured we would give this Walmart a shot but that was a mistake. It was awful and we aren’t coming back.
Service people are willing to help, but management and costumer service not really. After get home I checked receipt a saw incorrection in charges. The price under the item (which was on sale) and price in system of cashier didn't match !! Costumer service blond girl didn't want to return only amount which is overcharged, she did proces of returning item and charged me again with reduced amount and told me that I lost right to returning item again for any reason, because she just did that and next time if is necessary returning will must to be with another unit with new price. Anyway, confused for me too, but how cum at the end of 2023 with all systems, hardwares, softwares, supersonic computers, lazy management still doing mistakes on account of costumers always ? Honestly ?!

Also for some reason I can't, put a review on my online order so I'm put it here. And once again Nirhay was very patient, helping me figure out what package I was getting, and took the time to go get himself.
This location is very convenient for myself. It's located on Macleod Trail and has a very large parking lot. There is also a McDonald's in the store if you want to have someting to eat. In the spring and summer they have a garden center. There is not a huge selection of groceries but you should be able to find what you need.
It's been the second time happening at this store . Were they kept stocking expired bake it products on the shelf for the next day or day after they kept apologizing, and a manager he would call you but still nothing to hear from them so keep eye on your items you Picking up and be careful what you feeding your kids
