January 25th, 2023 I went to Walmart this afternoon and bought my usual $350-$400 worth of groceries. Usually things go along fine with the cashiers these days as they are more than happy to help pack up the groceries. (I always ask them kindly and assure them that my shopping bags are clean.) Well, I went through the same process today with the whole conveyor belt filled with my groceries and a full line-up of people behind. I asked the casher to give me a hand with packing. She ignored me. I asked her again as she put the groceries through the scanner and piled the groceries higher and higher. I asked her again and she refused. I asked her to call someone to help pack. She refused. I asked her to call the manager. She refused. She just stood back and did nothing. Given how long it was taking me to pack I advised everyone behind me in line that it would take a while as she wasn't helping me to pack. (As a side note, as this was all going on, I also had some discounted meat items. My elderly mother, who was behind me watching, saw the cashier put through the meat, saw the cashier glance at the reduced sticker and continue on. My mother spoke up and told me to check to make sure that I got the reduced amount. The cashier hadn't put the reduced amount through! She was just going to let it go on even though she had seen the reduced price. We did get it sorted out with the cashier changing the amount, however I can't get over the fact that the cashier was just going to ignore it.) Anyway, back to my story. .....Once again, I asked her nicely to help pack. Nope! Her excuse this time was that there was no room for her to pack as the groceries filled up all the space. In other words, it was physically impossible for her to pack anything. I said that she should have slowed down a bit as it was now difficult for me as well. She said she would get fired if she didn't put the items through quickly. Well, she hadn't left me any space for me to pack either, so I had to hold the bag in mid-air (and on the edge of the counter to pack my items). It was totally ridiculous. Most cashiers are friendly and happy to help. In fact, we had been told by management that all we have to do is ask. Long story short? Get staff who want to work and want a job. Explain the necessity of customer service. And if the employee is not up to it and does not want to provide basic service, then maybe find others who will. (By the way, l am a loyal customer and have shopped at this particular Walmart weekly for well over 20 years.)

Me and my wife were harrased and threatened today Walmart 3029 parsons drive around 9 PM at 22 May 2022 .I was shopping in the garden centre . The store is arranged as such that I didn't realise that I have picked up an item from their bins because there is no sign saying customers not allowed beyond this point. We looked for this item on the sales floor and it's spot was empty and then we started looking around and found it in the back of the garden centre. An associate named Amrinder came and very rudely told me and my wife not to take it from there . He also stated that "he will ask his manager and see if he can allow us to buy it".We felt insulted and proceeded to leave the store and in the meanwhile another associate came and I asked him if I can buy it and he's said that he will get someone from customer experience to check . The customer experience associate came and said I can buy it. I started walking to the cash and this first associate Amrinder came again and started arguing again that why he cannot allow me to buy it. My wife told him that we are being helped and we don't need anything from him but he continued to argue. He was then stopped by his coworkers because he was now threatening my wife and told her to shut up as she should not talk and should ask her husband first how to talk . He was again stopped by his coworkers. Even after that we did not say anything and proceeded to pay . We paid for the product and were exiting the store but this associate Amrinder came with another person named Shalank who went straight towards my wife by pulling his sleeves ( making a gesture that he will hit or do something) .She backed and this guy started to blame us without even without asking that what happened and harrased her. She then tried to tell him what happened but he didn't listen and in the meanwhile we were surrounded by five six men in the self checkout area. They came towards us like a gang and started shouting that security throw them out without asking what happened, he did not tell us his position and when we asked to speak to the store manager he said "you talk to me ". Shalank wanted to harras us and that's why he came in a gang.Shalank openly threatened us , harrased me and my wife and misbehaved with us , when people around us started to watch he made another threat and asked about our work address as if he is going to do something abou it. This is scary and makes this place highly unsafe to shop with family.

Went in to purchase a vacuum . Payed for vacuum at customer service desk. Interaction was with a employee. I also inquired about warranty on the item. Went back into the store to pick up another item that was on sale. After forty minutes of being in the store and with a paid item. Both electronic and paper receipt I was accused of stealing the item. When I spoke up about the false accusations and infringement on my human rights they called the Edmonton City Police. The under cover LPO and Store Managers informed EPS that I was trespassing, aggressive behaviour, stealing under 5000$, uttering threats and a list of other grievances. I was trespassed, my item box and vacuum where torn open to see if I was stealing. I was arrested handcuffed and detained in a police car for over an hour. I’m a person with disabilities and a survivor of violence. This was acceptable behaviour from Walmart and the Eps. When I tried explaining my side of events it went ignored and unwarranted that I was wronged. Walmarts behaviour to me was unacceptable and the behaviour of trained Police and Lost Prevention Officers was also of poor quality. I had purchased both items and when asked I did acknowledge that I did pay for the item. No bill of sale is required to be presented at any time after the purchase. Even when exiting the store to clear up the confusing behaviour from Walmart Staff The LPO was scream false allegations into the phone with 911. I spoke to the General manager Mr Pucci. His hands were tied …….. Walmart has not acknowledged this incident in the numerous times I tried to find a resolution. No apology or retraction of the current trespassing. One year trespassing. Banned. Police work for Walmart. 6 armed men came in after me as I tried to fill out a statement with store Health and Safety. I did nothing wrong yet still made to be a criminal. I include a photo from my video a picture of the men who do this work Both are not in anyway distinguishable from regular street people and did not announce they worked for Walmart. Both did not talk to me , just fired accusations and blocked my exit. A simple mistake that escalated to a significant incident.

The Walmart Supercenter at South Edmonton Common is a one stop shop with the best prices in town. The grocery section is massive with all the brand name products found everywhere else but at a cheaper price. If you are going to spend a few hundred dollars this is the place to do it. I was surprised to see that COVID-19 screening is offered by appointment for $19.97. If you are unvaccinated and want to go out on the town stop here and get your papers. The actual square footage of this place is insane. The walk from the frozen food section to the oil change shop across the building took at least a full minute. Groceries, pharmaceutical, cosmetics & jewelry, toys, electronics, clothing, houseware, stationary, books, automotive and sporting goods are within arm’s reach. McDonalds, Photos Unlimited Portrait Studios, Mr. Lube + Tires, Regal Nails Salon & Spa, Smart Style Hair Salon, Vision Center and Western Union are conveniently staggered at the front and exit areas. It was quite busy when I went but the place is so large and there were so many cashier lanes that it didn’t take nearly as much time as I thought it would to bag and pay. I saved at least $200 shopping here as opposed to my local grocery store and saved time too. Store was clean, tidy with shelves well stocked. Great experience today.

Ridiculously poor customer service. Barely tried to solve my problem and sent me to a different Walmart, only for them to send me back because they couldn't do anything. - I paid to get passport photos taken. I arrive and they tell me their camera is broken and to go talk to customer service. - Customer service says they can't do anything about it and don't offer to refund me. They tell me to take my order number to another Walmart and assures me they can take photos there. - I drive 20 minutes to another location. They can't take photos there. Customer service is confused as to why the Parsons Road location would send me to different location when they're the only ones that can do anything, so they tell me to call the first location. - I call Parsons Road. They tell me to come back and they'll refund my order. - I drive back, they finally offer my money back. After over 3 hours of being passed around between departments with no one really trying to help me, I have yet to get my money back, I probably spent twice the amount on gas from when they sent me back and forth, and I still have no passport photos. Terrible experience and I will never return to this store again.

I would give a zero if I could. Bathrooms were a disaster…with this many staff on the floor..zero excuses coming from an ex high paying customer. Got to the till, and 5 items priced wrong. They checked them all. Came back to me and admitted on one of the prices were coming back wrong.(off by $14)So charged me the price for the product that I claimed the price was which also matched there barcode on the shelf..but not the till)The other items after waiting 20mins at self checkout for a price check. Was told to go for a walk to confirm where I seen the items placed. Since half of isle in the blankets section was on clearance. I showed the spots and the csm who was pretty rude said ya it must be just put in the wrong spots.. but the other items also had the same tags. The till tried charging over $60 but the tag said $39… that took an additional 10 mins of time.. so with that… for the hassle i will order from AMAZON instead.. it’s cheaper anyways….This walmart is run poorly, and is a joke… I hope the nice lady that worked self checkout finds a better living with a better company one day. (Negative 5 ⭐️s).

I shop at Walmart a lot. But I tend to avoid the South common store. I went there today because I was told that they had stock on an item I was looking for. When I got there, it was pretty busy being that it's the Christmas season. I searched the aisles and could not find the item. There were no employees around, so I went to the front of the store where there was a clerk watching the front end with a yellow jacket that said something like happy to help. As I began to describe what I was looking for she cut me off and said if I don't see it, it's not here and turned around and kept working at her station in front of the clothing. I understand things are busy and hectic, and I know she probably gets a 1000 questions a day. But when you get to the point where you can't even let a customer ask a question and respond by cutting them off with a generic answer, maybe it's time to go on a break or take a few days off. I'm being generous with my star count because I know that I will always shop at Walmart. Though I probably won't shop at that particular Walmart anymore.

July 6, 2022: The one previous incident aside, this has been one of the better Wal-Marts I've shopped at. While Watt Common is a disaster, South Common has been very accurate and reliable when filling online grocery orders. The employees are polite and pleasant when I've gone to pick up my orders, and they haven't lost any of my online photos orders. Overall, there seems to be a lot more organization and less chaos (aside from the fire and the subsequent closure of the photo centre for a month after I had shipped my photos there). February 23, 2022: Cancelled my online grocery order 45 minutes before pickup with no explanation other than the store was temporarily closed and didn't offer any form of reschedule option or compensation for the inconvenience. This is the second time in the past two months Wal-Mart has cancelled an order last minute and they have become extremely unreliable for online orders across multiple locations. EDIT: Turns out the reason for the cancellation was an in-store fire. Understandable; I wish they had been up-front and honest with me.

Walmart offers very affordable prices on their merchandise compared to the other stores, which is probably why it's crowded every time we go there. For our recent visits though, we noticed that many customers are not social distancing and the staff seems to turn a blind eye instead of reminding them (in a friendly way). I've also witnessed that the self-serve checkouts are not sanitized at times which is very essential now As for the customer service, I have encountered many good and not-so-good employees. Most of them are very willing to help but I have met a few individuals who didn't seem to appreciate being approached by a customer. In one incident a few months ago, I approached a female staff who was wearing a white lab gown and re-stocking the frozen/meat section, where she seemed to have rolled her eyes just before I asked a question. That reaction was unexpected and disappointing because I was being polite in approaching her (not sure what happened there). For the most part though, there are many good employees and I commend them for helping willingly

I would like to rate 0 (zero) to this Walmart. I went to this store with my wife to buy some stuffs for our family. We chose a comforter set and just open a little to check how comfort that is! I guess one assistant manager saw that and thought we are thief putting stuffs inside the comforter set. Really!!!!!!! This is an assistant manager!!!!! Then he followed us all the way everywhere throughout the Walmart. This is not the end!! He told other associates and they were staring at us every single time such that we are a thief!! Then finally in the self checkout one associate started searching like we are real thief!!! But found nothing as obvious. Ohh my God!! Then that assistant manager came and was not ready to be apologized. After going out from this specific store I felt like why I went to this store!!!! I have never been that much humiliated in my entire life!!! Me and my wife got huge shocked mentally that we couldn’t talk each other for long hours…. We will never go in this store…

I was accused of stealing when I put my gloves into the jacket. The security lady came to me and demanded I "unzip my jacket to show her the jeans "I put in. Once see she saw that it wasn't jeans and it was my personally owned gloves, she simply walked away. She didn't even apologize, she didn't speak to us with dignity. We were considered criminals. We went and complained to Sandeep who was very professional but due to your system, we weren't able to locate her because Walmart had a different security company. We tried to speak to the security manager who wasn't there apparently. It is ridiculous how we were treated especially leaving after spending over $700 there. We left our information with Sandeep, one of the managers, and are awaiting a call. I would love to speak to the security service in order to rectify this issue of complete indecency. Just because we are of a darker complexion, it does not mean we are criminals trying to steal.

I used to shop here all the time, but over the last few months, service has really gone down drastically. Came here for an item, and I can't find it in the shelf, but the website says it's available. Ask one employee, who said "it should just be in the shelf". Look again, a bit harder, and none found, so asked another person, who then said "well I know it should ne there, did you even look?" None of these two employees even attempted to help me find it. At this point I'm done with Walmart but decided to give it one last chance. Went to customer service, who was a bit helpful, but even though the system says they have it, she doesn't know where it is, but said to order it online. Proceeded to order online, but then a few hours after, they cancelled my order. Don't worry Walmart, I'll take my business somewhere else, and you can keep your declining practices to yourself.

I was shopping here tonight. I stopped in the makeup section to grab a certain item. I walked to the Garnier section which literally had a camera right beside it. The worker who has to watch the makeup section walks over to where Iam and watches me the whole time I'm in the area. Ignores the group of people in the next aisle over and just watches me. While I'm standing there with my coach purse on my samsung fold 4. When I left the makeup area I was standing by the tills still on the phone waiting for someone. She walked to the edge of her section and stared at me almost the entire time! It insulted me so much I left my cart there and walked out. Learn to read your customers. I certainly don't shoplift and don't appreciate being watched for 10 minutes straight while I stand there just talking on a phone. I will NEVER shop there again.

I am writing this review a year late- I firmly apologize for not giving this fantastic employee all the credit he deserved back in April 2022. When I entered this Walmart with my 2 small children- I was feeling overwhelmed & exhausted by my personal life. I was immediately greeted with the warmest smile and “Hello” from an employee named Devon. I asked him the direction of the electronics he walked myself & my chaotic cart over to the department. He smiled repeatedly & treated me with such kindness. He aided with my search of a Nintendo switch & when my son started crying in the cart he smile real big at him and told us to have a good day. Please don’t underestimate the kindness of your employees especially ones like Devon. Please give this employee praise as I still remember this interaction a year later.

Scanning code of practise, we all know it. I saw that the brand of dog food I use was on sale, so I put three bags in my cart and, in case they scanned wrong, took a picture of the product, barcode, price reduction, all of it. Go to the till and what do you know, it scans at the higher price. The person doing the price check, CHANGES THE TAGS on the shelf, refuses to give the product at the advertised price and was incredibly rude while doing so. I showed them the picture I took less than five minutes ago of the sale price with a different tag and all they could do was blame ME. I understand there may be a language barrier for plenty but ripping people off is ripping people off in any language. I highly suggest the entire store would benefit from retraining on customer service and business ethics

Returned a printer to this store yesterday. Customer Service rep. Arshdeep Kaurcheema very nicely told me to go to Electronics get another printer & explain to them what my issue was. The gal in electronics didn't want to handle it, she didn't even want to listen, sent me back to Customers Service with new printer. Arshdeep, another employee & myself couldn't figure it out. But lord & behold along came claims Manager Tarun Divyesh & his assistant. Tarun explained what I wasn't doing, got what I wanted the gal in electronics to do for me done! He was awesome! Thank you to all (at Customer Service) for being so kind. I would of rated the exemplary service of these Walmart employees #5! But the unconcerned manner of the employee in electronics made that impossible!

Please coach your self check out team HOW TO GREET, HOW TO SMILE AND HOW SCANNER CODE OF CONDUCT works. Pathetic experience I had last night at south common location. Self check out lane BROWN lady (I have her name but don't want to drag her in this) totally declined the price adjustment in a RUDE PATHETIC way. I did ask her see if she can help me out and her attitude was at another level because she had to walk to confirm the price. SEAT AT HOME you don't like to work. I work in retail too. We never offer these type of exeperience to our clients. You guys need to change the structure.

Once again, I was interrogated at the return center 2 days ago for returning pyjamas within the return policy. I shop at Walmart regularly and the experience was very negative. I had my bill and all the tags. The customer service lady said why is there no green tag on yr bag which is for security. I said no one available at front entrance to give me one. She made it sound like it was my fault. Why do you hv a safety pin on the tag. I said so that the tag doesn’t get lost. She said we don’t put this on garments. I said is that a real problem or a big deal I can it take it off. You hv satisfaction guarantee and yet you make customer feel demeaned for returning an item. I have decided not to shop at Walmart anymore.

In the past 30 minutes I have heard all the complaints from Walmart Managerial Staff, while have no there break in McDonald’s. Very unprofessional, and with all run down and put downs of Staff and Walmart itself made think if I want sho here anymore. Does staff not have break room so the public doesn’t have to listen to this while shopping. I would never want to work here if back stabbing attitude of the managers is like this. Plus this isn’t the first I heard managers talking out. The way I know this I sit coffee while my wife shops. My suggestion, THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IN McDonald’s THEY SHOULD BE IN STAFF ROO. Gossip is hinder to positive work for all worker to enjoy.

Walmart prices are good, variety of merchandise is also wide, but my main problem with Walmart is that getting customer service is a pain. There's almost never anybody to help you when you are in this very large store and you would like some information about merchandise. I had to go all the way from the back of the store to Customer Service in order to get a small query resolved, and they had to page for somebody in the warehouse to again come all the way to Customer Service to help me. Surely there has to be a better way for somebody who's in an aisle to get assistance there and then, without having to walk all the way to the front of the store.

I like to buy some stuff from Walmart. They have very good collection of items . Some are cheap and quality is ok. I visited this store in weekend. Washroom was very dirty. I was about to through up. I was in rush and didn’t have time to give me opinion. The store was very neat and clean. all shelves are organized. I was looking for some over the counter drug. Pharmacist was super helpful. She suggestions worked like a magic for me. I found all items that I was looking for. However, at the end I was very unsatisfied with the washroom hygiene. The store location is very good. Lots of parking spots including para parking. Great customer service.

Shopped at this store on August 14, 2023. I was at the self check-out scanning my groceries when one of my items came up as: Code not found It was for a jar of salsa so I called over to one of the self check-out associates, Rosabella, and told her about the problem. She tried to scan it as well and the scanner came up with the same error. Then she turned to me and asked: "Do you still want this or do you not want it? Of course I want it! I told her that was a stupid question to ask me just because the system did not have the barcode. What she should have said was: "Let me get someone to find the price and code for you." Customer Service = 0

Update: I received the worst max customer service again. A lot is missing, and the lady who was there was unconcerned about the customers. It is necessary to improve the ability to converse politely with customers. I feel that You guys are there to help the customers. Unfortunately, I saw one lady at customer service who is unwilling to reply to my questions, showing rude facial expressions, and mainly avoiding me. Does that mean if you are interested only you will help the people otherwise no? Please give proper training to the staff. The good news was that I had a friendly cashier who assisted me in getting over the counter.

I typically pick up my groceries at South Common but gave this location a go last night...I let them know I was on my way, checked in upon arrival AND was greeted by an employee in the parking lot. I thought it was great...until I ended up waiting over THIRTY minutes (into the next time slot) for my order. My order was missing items and they had substituted items without my knowledge. Adding to my frustration, I was the only car picking up groceries during this entire time. There was no apology and no discount. The convenience of curbside pick up is not here and I will definitely be sticking with a different location.

NEVER ORDER ONLINE for store pick up! I ordered something and it arrived. Went in store to pick up but customer service said it wasn't "processed yet". I asked them to confirm it has arrived in store and they did. They said when it "gets processed" I'll be notified. 9 days later I follow up and they say they require VENDOR APPROVAL... why does the vendor has to approve something they shipped to be picked up in store?? And because I didn't know that and waited "to be notified" they decided to just ship the item back to the vendor. Never received it, dealing with refunds now and their entire process is beyond absurd!

The worst thing about this store is the customers...I do not live in Edmonton but stopped by this store while in the city....In my short time walking around I saw a lady removing a spiderwire off a product, women using the hair spray in the aisle, fresh spray paint on the floor and genral carelessness of customers tossing things wherever and letting their kids be disrespectful....there is no way this store could ever have enough staff on hand to deal with how disrespectful the customers are....kuddos to the staff for trying their best to keep the store clean, it is an impossible task from what I witnessed today.

I experienced the best customer service from a young man in the deli department. I couldn't find what I was looking for and no else could but they tried. That was great too. So, I was going through the self check out and someone tapped on the shoulder. It was this young man from the deli department with the item I was looking! He went that extra mile to find me and deliver the product. Thank you for you excellent customer service. Sorry I didn't get your name but this is a shout out to you especially and your coworkers. Absolutely ridiculous check out experience!! Cashier calls me to his till. Then goes to the next till to help another cashier cause the CSM wasn’t paying attention. Then when I told him I had the stuff in my cart as well as the belt he looked at me like I was crazy. Pushed for donations but didn’t tell me my total or ask if it was cash or card. This is why I’m going to stick with self check out. Your staff has no clue what to do. I’d work here myself but I already did that once and I know how you already treat them. So they then take it out on the customers.

I was really impressed by the lady optometrist who put on notepads on my glasses a while back. Was I beyond shock when I returned recently to have a new pair to be told it will cost me almost $4. I bought a pack of 15 pairs of notepad from Amazon for less than $7 just now. WHAT IS WALMART THINKING OF? THEIR BOSSES ARE AMONG THE TOP TEN RICHEST PEOPLE INDIVIDUALLY ACCORDING TO FORBES. AMAZON is where I will go first in the future. By the way, I was shocked to find out that they have very small stationery section. They don't even carry business envelopes.

Very bad experience. They cancelled my order when I went there to pick up the order. They told me as I came 2 days after, they cancelled my order. But they didn't let me know beforehand that my order will be cancelled if I don’t come within 2 days. Even the email they sent me for collection of the order, doesn’t mentioned such kind of policy. South common walmart is a very unprofessional place…I don’t know who run this Walmart…and who is the manager…definitely they are not doing their job..and nobody cares about the service….Very bad experience…

Usually I am ok with this wallmart but today October 19,2022 the cashier at till number 14 around 9pm was sooooooo rude without any reason, didn't ask if I need bag, after scanning the products she just start throwing them on the side and when she is done and I paid she just did the same thing again and instead of handing me the receipt just threw it on my stuff and start scanning other customer things.. I don't know why she misbehaved, I tried to look at her name but she has hid it.. very first and worst experience with that lady at till 14

This is the worst walmart in Edmonton. If you try to go buy trading cards, half of them are open and garbage everywhere. I bought a lego set as well that had a security tag spider on it. When I went through self checkout there employee told me that he didn't have a key to open it up and that I would have to stand in the customer service line to get the security spider off. Also he said that everyone was too busy to come to us. Poor customer service by the time some one came and opened it for us 30 mins past. I will probably not be back.

I'm not sure if this is the largest Walmart in Edmonton regardless, it's big. They always seem to have what I'm looking for in stock. The greeter and cashier was friendly. Typically Walmart if one is searching for an item, it's easier to keep searching then find for a staff person. Huge parking lot, so no problem with parking. The store is located off Parson's road so you don't have to deal with the often craziness of South Edmonton Mall and it's convoluted roads. Also has a traffic light which makes it easier to access and egress.

I asked an employee if I purchased this on clearance and it's missing something can i return it her response was "no you would have to call manufacturer they can send you the part you're missing." It wasn't a cheap purchase, doesn't say final clearance anywhere on it and why sell something you're unsure of they should be checking things before putting it back on their shelves.I can tell it was used and sure enough it was missing an important part. Will never shop here. I will go back to my fave location thank you very much.

Went to Walmart over the weekend and i was extremely disappointed with the condition of this super centre. Apart from the basic stuff like shelves not being stocked, no management available i was mostly disappointed with the washrooms. They were not clean, surrounding areas were stinking; not something you expect from any place. There was no pressure on the drinking water jets that you literally had to stick your lips to the metal outlet to drink water. The management should really look into this.

Quite frankly worst customer service ever… I didn’t even enter the store snd they can’t help a customer lol. I called and have been on hold for 15 minutes for sporting goods. Then the dept manager. Now the manager on duty. Nobody seems to be bothered to want to talk to the customer on the phone for a super quick question. I live completely opposite end of the city so naturally I’d like to save gas before going for nothing. Do better SECWM. After 20 minutes, the duty manager has finally picked up.

So I went shopping there the other day and rode my new Pink all factory GT BMX, locked it outside on the bike rack. After shopping I return to my bike only to find the car jockeys that move the shopping carts had crashed a train of carts into the back wheel bending the frame and making it impossible to re attach the tire. It cost $750.00 for the bike, and I was told I would be compensated by the cart mover people, however when I returned to speak to Lincoln the manager, I was told to get beat.

Four star only because they have everything what a customer is looking for. Even though sometimes shelfs are empty but totally understood. They should start looking at the parking in winters. Even if plaza is owned by someone else. February 13 2022, temperature is 2C snow is melting. Management should know it will be chaos if it starts melting. There is a whole swimming pool right in between the parking lot. This is the only walmart who always neglect parking while improving the insides.

They are lucky that I can’t pick zero stars. I ordered groceries and they never showed up. I talked to them 3 different times and was reassured that my groceries would be delivered THREE different times. They never showed up. Then they are telling me it will take 5-7 business days for them to refund my 420$ order, that never even left the store. TERRIBLE customer service! How can you take that long to refund someone their money back, when the groceries never even left the store.

This Walmart Supercentee have all you need under one roof. The fresh fruits and vegetables, juices, groceries, bakeries, or other household stuffs. The photo center and electronic section is small but still serve certain section of customers. Recreation section too have some limited choices. The biggest is the household decor and gardening section. The center also house paint shop, meat market, sea food section, and also McDonalds & Tim Hortons. You would live to do grocery here.

We wasted two hours for make a family session which one of their unprofessional employee told us about and then we got nothing then the employee named Maryuri told us it was wrong info?!!!!. Unhonest and unprofessional staff. Just want to waste our time in their dirty place. It should not be in a country like Canada. My review is not about the store, it’s about the greeting folks that stand by the door, it’s either you greet everyone, or keep your month shut! It’s either you check everyone’s receipts or keep your mouth shut. I noticed people getting greeted and others not, I noticed people being asked for receipts and other not, which makes me question their training and did their management tell them to do, greet those race, age, colour or gender you like? Food for thought.

Walmart In south commons is not very good. Lay out is bad & if you ask for help all the best. Staff is too busy talking to each other then helping customers. Staff attitude is like they own Walmart. I don’t buy anything from Walmart specially clothes quality is bad fitting sucks.All the Fruits & veg look like 5 days old.Better pay little more @ save on food. Only nice thing about Walmart is one lady is on front doors she is always happy & Greet with smile.

I checked online to see if there was Kitty litter at the store $8.97 got to the store and to our surprise they had lots so picked up 6 got to the till and it was going through at $11.97 for exactly the same product but the bar code was different.. called for a manager got an assistant manager who said although the product was the same it could not be price matched even though it was the same product ... We left all 6 bags and went to a different store.

Have bought produce that is old as it goes bad the day after buying. Also bought cheese that is rubber as it was frozen, then thawed. Had frozen produce that has thawed then refroze as it is in one big lump. Also, the bread molds as it was previously frozen, when you think it's fresh. I shop at safeway now, as their goods are fresh. Also, their shelves are full as they have local suppliers!!! By the way, they are cheaper with a lot of their stuff!!!

Do Not order delivery. My door dash delivery guy, who Walmart uses and doesn't tell you it's a second party, stole 8 items from my Christmas order. I have been on the phone with customer service from both door dash and Wal-Mart for an hour and a half trying to deal with this issue. Walmart at South Common has the worst customer service. They put me on hold twice for 30 minutes and I finally hung up because no one had any intention of helping me.

I had to ask 5 different people where an item was and 3 of them sent me in different directions I am vision impaired and told them so and they would just point in a vague direction and walk away. Worst experience while shopping in my life. Unprofessional and racist staff. We were scanning the goods we were supposed to purchase when one woman who is sanitizing the POS came to see if we were stealing something. She did it because we were speaking a different language. We did feel intimidated by her attitude. She doesn't behave that way with her people while they speak their language. We are not thieves! Shame on you wm!

Revamping my review, today I went to the pickup area which is located on the far east side of the building. The pick-up banner which was attached to a fence was blowing in the wind and some of the letters were not visible. There should be some arrows or signs where to pick up. As when I called in they said park in front of a different area. Nonetheless, All my items were fresh and or in good order and the associate was nice.

Many shelves were not stocked throughout the store. Could be because of pandemic and not all items are available. Greeter and cashier were pleasant enough, did not have any interaction with any other associates, in fact didn't see many associates out on the floor. Most Customers in store were not respecting physical distancing. It's difficult times for many, hopefully measures are in place to keep staff and customers safe.

I left one of my bags at the self checkout and made it to my truck all the way at the other end of the parking lot. Was about to leave and the lady who was working the self checkout at the Home & pharmacy side ran across the entire parking lot to catch up with me and bring me my bag. I didn’t catch her name but she saved the day! Ive never had an employee do that before, very thankful. She deserves some praise Walmart!

Worst service when dealing with the customer service employee named NERIA. We went in to return an item and the lady was just full on mad and showing attitude to us. While we were explaining our side as to why we need to return the item, she just cuts us off and telling us it doesn’t matter. Please don’t put an employee in the Customer Service department when they are not even competent to deal with customers.

For Black Friday sale, the entire section that deals with phones has a total of ONE person to deal with customers. I waited for nearly an hour with 2 toddlers just to be seen, and I was the second person in line!!!. Apparently, the customer before me had some issue with the service, and everyone behind her had to wait till she was dealt with. Some customers even left. Very bad experience!

I was a bit skeptical about this place but it did not disappoint me. I had an interview the next day and didn't have a good pair of office shoes. I found a decent pair at a good price. I took a quick look at the apparel and shoes section and decided to buy some extra stuff. Would definitely come here again. The electronic section could have some improvement and add variety though.

I went in this walmart yesterday. What happened to the staff? Basically no workers. It seems the staff can't be bothered to help, no politeness, it's as if they don't care about their jobs and customers. If I could give 0 stars I would. Walmart really needs to fix these issues. If you're planning to buy big water expect a lot of waiting. I always do self check out and the only way to buy water is go to customer service. And if 2 people a head of you returning or complaining about they bought, expect to wait 10-15 min.. compare to other brach like windermere, the staff will assist you to scan the water and the return deposit on self check out counter

I had terrible customer service experience at this store today. I Was told I could do an exchange as I didn’t have my recipe, by the CSM Sunita. When I returned with a cart full of food she said it had to be the exact item I had to exchange, this was not made clear to me before I shopped. She was very abrupt, shouting at me and would not listen to my comments.

Went to city Wednesday determined to buy a new Windows 10 laptop and heard Walmart sells them. Alas, they only had 1 with my specifications, so had none to compare with. Desiree, the comp girl, was friendly, delightfully helpful and not pushy (compared to the another store I went to). Good that they close 11pm, I had a chance to look elsewhere for comparison.

Went to Walmart Superstore, Parsons road. When I was in need of help, Miss TUVYA (Walmart Associate) came forward to help me up with my queries. She is such a nice girl as she was so amiable, charming and assisted me with patience. From my perspective, I would recommend this location for customers as Miss TUVYA is there to assist you guys.

Incompetent staff, getting followed around the store by some loss prevention employee and finally asking if I was allowed in the store. Customer service lacking any resolution in admitting loss prevention person was even employed by them, then watching that person argue with the manager I had spoken with . It was regular grocery trip , however while self checkout a Walmart associate approached me and asked to open a cooler box I bought. In short accused me of stealing stuff in the cooler. The selection is very good, but most of the service needs work. The door staff and cashiers are good, but that's where the service stops. The back area near toys, electronics and games is made up of a mishmash of employees that hide and pass the customer, or just point to an area rather than show you to the item. Sunday is pretty bad.

Note of caution when selecting items you thought it was on sale, the stock is not always in the correct place, to give them credit, they do have bar scanners around to check prices (lesson learned). I tend to stay away from automated self serve checkouts, just because I like having people employed.

Can't complain. For a Friday afternoon (4pm) my list was short and the parking lot was pretty docile. In and out of there in 10min ish. Motor oil and Mini chocolate eggs (that big bag was marked way down well before Easter. Cant pass that up). That's gotta be a record of sorts or something. Two thumbs up.

Bought a Shark Vacuum stick on a deal today. When I opened the product at home it was like an open box item ( not properly packed). It was retuned by somebody. It was not even cleaned after use. The brushes where with full of hair and dust. This it not the right way to resell the returned item.

Good product assortment and prices, friendly staff, and the curbside pickup is superb. However, home delivery can be unreliable. Sometimes items paid for are missing, in which case the customer must go back to the website to request a refund for those absent items (and then order them again).

This visit was good. The ratio if self checkout And teller checkout is crazy. There was lanes with tellers open. The rest were self service lanes. This will be the norm. More self serve than Teller lanes. Price not reduced but get ready for scanning your item on your own

This Walmart is actually pretty awesome. The tills seem to have more cashiers now so its not a row of 30 tills with only 3 cashiers on them. The store looks clean and well kept. The best part of my experience is the online grocery pickup.

Massive parking lot with plenty of parking stalls. This Walmart location is extremely large to accommodate all of the products one could ever need, ranging from clothes and jewelry to fruits and vegetables or cleaning supplies.

Standard Wal-Mart as far as things go. You'll find much there, but it will match the price as you can expect. Cleanliness can be improved, and same with how the parking lot is flooded much of the time during the spring melt.
