Went there 3 or 4 times. First time was a charm! However, it seems it is not working nice with smelly clothes. The last two times I went there, I still had half of my clothes smelling under the armpit. The first time it happened, I thought it was because I had put too many clothes in the machine. At that time, I washed twice my clothes, but it still did not work. I went there again and put way less clothes into the machines. I still had the same problem! Some of my clothes were still smelling bad around the armpit!! This time, I had even put only 4kg of laundry into a 8kg machine!! Also, it seems it is not recommended to add soap ourselves, and I am not even sure that it would work since it is washing at cold temperature. I am very sad about this because I found it super cool, Ozone technology which should wash and disinfect clothes (there shouldn't be anything better), fast (33min washing) and cosy. My sport t-shirt even smells after 3 washings using their machines... Summary: you have not-too-smelly clothes? Here you go, super place! Otherwise, maybe look for a traditional waschsalon, I guess. Edit: I also just saw that one of my t-shirts still has a greasy stain after washing there...

The tales of this fabled laundromat are true - this is surely the greatest laundromat in the observable universe. Worth making the trip for, if you urgently need to do your traveller washing, or just if you want to take a selfie with the sparkling machines. Uses ozonated water to wash, which is environmentally cleaner than detergent and keeps the machines from gunking up. There are many washing and drying machines available, with various capacities, so you can pick your price point and only pay for what you need. For example, a 7 kg washing load costs €4.50 at time of writing. You don’t need coins. The whole payment system is electronically controlled, so you just pick your machine number on the touch screen and pay electronically using card (or cash if you wish). The payment console is operated by touchscreen, with language options including English. For drying, you pay €1.20 per 10 mins of drying in the smallest drying machine (which is actually a huge 14 kg capacity), and can pick how long you want to dry for. The icing on the cake is the free Wi-Fi. Very well designed, customer friendly business.

American Tourists here! Previous reviews of this place being the "best laundromat on the face of the planet" are actually true. The laundromat equipment is tourist friendly since the instructions are available in a number of languages and you have the ability to pay via Apple/Google Pay. The washing machines have the ability to auto dispense soap during the washing cycle, so you do not need provide any. As a tourist, it is extremely helpful since I do not have to deal with finding and buying detergent. I just put the laundry in the washer, pay, and the wash just happens. Afterwards, I move my wet clothes to the dryers, set, pay and the driers dry my clothes. Simple, easy, and convenient.

This laundromat is probably one of the best, cleanest, and most efficient laundromats I’ve used. The machines are very modern and the payment system is also straight forward to use. One not-so-intuitive thing is that if you want to pay using a credit card, you must press the triangle button in the card reader device to activate it, otherwise your card won’t be read. There’s high speed internet in the location provided by the laundromat company, as well as seats, and baskets to move clothes around. There’s a person on-site constantly cleaning the machines, floor, and tables to fold clothes.

Modern, clean, easy to use machines. Free wi-fi. Some shops nearby so you can have a meal while you wait for your wash to be done. The time on the washer might not reflect the real time. It started with a timer for 33 minutes but I timed around 40 minutes. Instructions are available in both German and English, on both the machines and the payment kiosk. You can pay by card. If you have jeans, it'll take 20 mins (3 EUR) to dry in the dryer completely on medium heat. I didn't want to risk damaging my t-shirts but you can try high if you want to save 10 mins and €1.50.

The local is super nice & clean, easy to use. My issue is that washing is done in 30mins with cold water, the stained stayed. Not only stained are still there but now there are holes ! Only washed shirts & pullovers that are white (no jeans, or zippers that could have cause the holes) Many of the white items still have yellowish tone or make up that wasn't washed. Coloured pants still have the brown from dirt at the bottom ... ☹️ Smell of the washing detergent is quite neutral. A bit disappointed from all the clothes not fully washed but okay.

Very neat, calm and adequate washing area space. Walkable distance from Alexander Platz, Connected with many Trams and Bahns. Detergent is included in the machine automatically, no need to bring washing agent. Having different Washing machines for different weightages. Touch screen is with English language instruction as well. Help yourself because no one from speedqueen will be there. Dedicated washing machines for hard washing (safety dress, shoes, etc). Just fill your cloths and chill outside in the open area or use free WiFi. Enjoy washing.

Very easy laundry where no washing powder is needed or anything else at all. the process is explained both in German and English, and language can also be changed both on laundry and dryer machines. Currently, 8kg wash is 6 euro and 20 mins drying 3 euro, at least from 10 mins onwards with an increase of 10 mins for each setting on payment machine for washing or drying and then finalise everything on dryer or washing machine to start the cycle. I just wished personally clothes were smelling a bit more but nice technology and method in Berlin.

Spotlessly clean machines with ozone system that kills bacteria from clothes and previous users without heat or damage. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Berlin. Also, the dryers are very efficient, I did a half load in with 30 min on medium including Levis, the clothes were so dry 20 minutes would be sufficient.

Despite the good quality of washing, I did not have a good experience as the washing machine got stuck with my clothes soaked in water. I called the emergency phone from another customer's phone (no viber, whatsapp option for people who cannot call German number), and the guy didnt speak English. He texted another phone number to call and eventually I placed my clothes in another machine. They told me to pay it again and they will refund me but still nothing.

Very clean and organised laundromat. It is easily reachable by public transport, bikes or scooters even if you are bit further away. And there are many things nearby so you have options while waiting on your clothes. You can pay by card or cash. Laundry detergent and softener are automatic and included in the price. There are clean baskets to move around the clothes and plenty surfaces to do the folding.

My fiancé and I are traveling through Germany right now, and were looking for somewhere close to our hotel to wash clothes. This place was within walking distance, and it looked nice. It exceeded expectations! Nicest laundromat we’ve ever been to. Quick, easy, and budget friendly. Instructions are in both German and English. Wäsche wird nicht sauber. Fettflecken bleiben in der Wäsche. Bei der Handwäsche im Nachhinein gingen diese mit ein wenig seife direkt raus. Für das Geld dürfte sowas nicht sein. Jede gewöhnliche Waschmaschine bei 30 Grad mit etwas Waschmittel erledigt das problemlos. Ach ja, eure Maschinen waschen kalt und ohne Waschmittel... Diese innovative Methode scheint nicht ganz ausgereift.

This place was great and in a really convenient location - in the heart of Alexanderplatz, so you can leave your washing/drying on to explore around the block. I went in the morning as the night before there were a number of machines not in use. So made sure I went there in a less busy time. Card payment didn’t seem to work either, so just make sure you bring cash as backup.

Saturday August 5, 2023 at 7 p.m. The machine we have chosen stops after 5min and resets (cause overload despite a total weight well below capacity). I call customer service. The person I have on the phone tells me that he won't answer me if I don't speak German. I have to end the call with no solution. result, 5 euros lost. Vielen Dank für deine Hilfe !

Amazing place to wash your clothes whilst travelling. Washing powder/ fabric softener is included so makes it a breeze. Clear instructions available in other languages, clean, well lit & safe. The dryers work really well. Your wash is done in 30 mins. Can take coins and cards. Washing baskets also included which makes it convenient.

It is very easy to use, the detergent is included in the machine, so you just need to bring your clothes. But, I have been coming to the place for some months, and the prices have increased, and the place is not as clean as it used to be. Also the machines smell a bit weird. Im not very happy with the place anymore.

Clean facilities and free wifi. 4,50€ for 7kg wash and 1,20€ for 10 min dryer. Great price. Easy to use - the washing machines have their own powder and softener so you don’t need to bring anything with you other than your laundry! Only downside is card payments doesn’t work and the local ATM is really gross.

The best laundromat I've ever used. The wasch is always very clean and smell really good. One thing is, that when I had a problem and called emergency number, nobody came despite the promises (around 2 hours waiting). The time "35 min" which stays on washing machine is in reality around "45 min".

The biggest scam in history all machines wash with cold water !! I paid 20 € to wash my blankets with cold water! When I called the service number I was told that it is the fault of the energy crisis, at least put a clear sign because I don't pay 20 € to wash my blankets with cold water!

Wirklich super. Es ist sauber und geht doch recht schnell. War insgesamt nh Stunde da und die Wäsche ist frisch und trocken geworden. Auch echt gute Preise und beim genauen lesen der Bedienungsanleitung ist das sogar recht einfach. Empfehle ich unbedingt weiter.

Really clean and nice laundromat. You can use a credit card to pay so you don't need to collect euros. Several sizes of washers- the small one is about 8 euro for a loaf. The largest was 20 euro. The dryer dried a huge load in less than 30 minutes.

Cheaper than doing laundry at my hostel, detergent built into machines, why isn't this standard? My backpack worth of laundry was even dry in 20 minutes on medium heat, usually it takes me no less than 40 minutes to dry my clothes.

This place is new. The machines are beautiful. The place is extremely clean. Wash cycle was 35 minutes and cost €4.50. My clothes were dry in 20 minutes which cost €2.40. Fantastic establishment. I will go back.

Waschmittel, Desinfektionsmittel und Weichspüler werden immer automatisch hinzugefügt. Man hat keine Chance, selber seinen eigenen Zeug hinzu zu tun. Man weiß nicht, was das für Waschmittel und Weichspüler sind.

Alles neu, viele unterschiedliche Waschmaschinen und Trockner, voll automatisiert (kein Personal vor Ort - bei Problemen muss man die Chat-Funktion nutzen, was oft wenig erfolgreich ist). WLAN funktioniert nie.

I would say that one of the Bert places to wash your clothes. Near by are few restaurants and cafés that you can chill for a bit while your Landry is done :) highly recommended …

Kleiner, aber guter Waschsalon! Sauber, preislich völlig in Ordnung, WLAN, leichte Bedienung und man benötigt kein extra Waschmittel, dieses wird automatisch dosiert. Sitzplätze sind auch vorhanden.

Used to be a good place, appears to have been sold and maintenance has stopped. Two out of four small washers aren’t working and they all have a powerfully bad musty smell that they didn’t used to.

Very clean and easy to use. The system is in multiple languages and easy to use. Cost us around 11 euro to clean and dry and took around 50 minutes to do both. Clothes came out smelling very nice.

Great laundromat. Nice and clean inside, good machines that wash and dry very well (dryer does dry hotter then you think though, so be careful), and reasonable prices.

Good pricing and very clean. 30 minutes for wash and 30 min to dry (€10 for 7kg), detergent included. Def a good spot. The pay system accepts cash and card.

Regrets. The perfumed detergent is automatically dispensed and the smell is overwhelming and nauseating! Could not use my own detergent. It’s miserable.
