I loved this place so much that I ended up extending my stay as did some of the travelers in the camp. Here's why: - Giancarlo and Arturo are the best! They go out of their way to ensure everyone is having a great time. - Lots of very good surfing within walking distance from the camp and twice a day they have a van to ferry people to the beach. - I took lessons and progressed. I stayed for the course of a week and felt as if I was getting better each day. - Everyone at the camp and in the town had all-around great vibes. - Comfortable wetsuit and boot rentals. Note: I stayed for 7 days which was a ton of surfing and shoulder burn. I'd recommend planning a full day off every 3 days or so. There is an affordable deep-tissue massage place within walking distance from the camp.

We stayed there for 1 month to start surfing - having no experience before. We loved it there, great waves everyday. We used to surf in the morning and afternoon. Favorite places were San Bartolo, Puerto Viejo and Cierro Azul. Company in the camp was great. Giancarlo went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and he accommodated all our requests. Great value for money. Very chill place in Punta Hermosa. Nice food nearby. Thanks!! We look forward to stay there again!

Hébergement très appréciable pour passer quelques jours de détente à Punta Hermosa. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propre et bien équipé. Un plus pour la terrasse, la cuisine ouverte et la petite piscine avec vue sur mer. Ps : je regrette toutefois que l’hôte n’est pas pris la peine de nous rendre l’argent qu’il nous devait. Je recommande tout de même.

Staying at Waves Surf Camp was an amazing experience! Giancarlo runs a great camp and Albert is a fantastic instructor. I learned so much and am now addicted to surfing. The accommodations are excellent from the home cooked food to the friendly atmosphere. This was the highlight of my trip to Peru.

A lovely small surfhouse in Punta Hermosa. Within walking distance to a few surfspots. You can rent a board, have a shared/private room and more. Also has simple but tasty breakfasts. You're staying with a lovely family :) Very good value for money.

Giancarlo nos recebeu muito bem! Nossa reserva incluía alimentação e transporte aos picos com ondas. Surfamos em praias diferentes todos os dias, quase sempre com ótimas ondas (de acordo com o swell). A alimentação foi bem simples, mas gostosa pratos únicos com arroz e frango/carne com alguns legumes, e salada no almoço. Ótima localização em Punta Hermosa.

Excelente experiencia en la surf house de Giancarlos. Atención genial, todo súper limpio gracias a Francisca, los huéspedes con quien cruzamos todos muy buena onda. Lo que serían 4 noches de volvió 2 semanas gracias a la buena onda y comodidades de la casa. Todo genial. Volveré y recomendaré siempre.

This is the camp for surfing in the south of Peru. Giancarlo brings you to the best spots for all kind level of surf 2 times a day! Everything is included and you dont have to worry about anything like accomodation, transportation, surf material, food, etc. Would definitely stay there again

Had a really great stay here. Perfect location to walk to all the local breaks. Rooms were clean Breakfast is included and decent Owner was very helpful Staff were super sweet. Highly recommended 10/10
