Feeling scammed. I reached out to Weatherproof roofing about a quote on some roof maintenance and Adam White was the one we dealt with. From the get go it was all a bit slimy but we live in the country and it can be hard to get anyone to come out so we pushed that feeling aside. It cost us $700 for an "inspection quote", and I definitely understand fees for travel as it's over an hour. But half that was for the inspection and I had to chase Adam down over text to get the quote, once we got the quote it wasn't for most of what we had discussed. It took multiple revisions and some explanation on my part that a quote with no price break down wasn't acceptable.... But the real kicker to me is that it took two weeks to bully a receipt for the work out of Adam, which I explained multiple times we needed to show to our insurance for the age of the roof. Got the receipt finally today and it's just a payment recieved, no break down of what it was for. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, the unprofessional conduct of Adam while he was at our property 'inspecting' was also a huge turn off.

June 2023: During the heavy rainfall this past week in Edmonton, we thought we had a roof leak as it was dripping from the ceiling in our garage so called up the roofers and they were superb! Had a couple roofers come out to our place to have a look and it turned out it wasn’t our roof but a piece of siding trim had been bent down a bit, allowing water to get through. They were kind enough to screw it back in place and no more leak in our garage. We’re so appreciative of their excellent customer service to ensure the issue was fixed. Highly recommend this team!! Weatherproof Roofing sports the words "We're on top of it!" on the cover page of their booklet. Well, let me break the news to you - they are NOT "on top" of anything. I requested a quote from them via their online form and three days later there was still no response. When I contacted them by email, they finally scheduled an estimate. The first thing the estimator said when he showed on my porch is that "we are not the cheapest company." We have a nice house in a popular neighbourhood so I am not sure what precipitated that comment, as we were looking for a quality company, not the cheapest price. It's now been almost a week after the estimate, and there is radio silence. I can see them say the usual "we're very busy", but everyone is busy, and I did get some prompt and professional communication from a number of reputable companies and was happy to give one of them my business. This company does not value its reputation.

Fantastic services! From beginning to end, they were the absolute best. They came recommended by my neighbours; who have top quality taste, and they did a great job. The Estimator who came out to quote us, Scott saw us through the entire process, was professional, and informative. He didn’t hesitate to inform us when there were changes, or where we could save a little money. But he also let us know what was important, and would be a good long term investment- we choose to add the metal valleys and they look great. The roofers themselves did a good job on the roof, no problems and were polite and professional. Again, I can’t speak highly enough of Scott, who made sure we complied with community guidelines as per our contractual obligations to color schemes and cohesion, he was efficient and proactive in each step. I'm glad we chose Weatherproof Roofing to have our roof fixed! The day I asked online for an estimate, I got a call right away. Adam came the next day to have the roof assessed. He's very professional and knowledgeable, you ask questions and you'll get straight and honest answers. He'll also give advise and points out what else is needed to be fixed. Weatherproof Roofing were the the only ones that got back to me after I reached out to multiple chimney repair companies with a significant leak in my old chimney. I was really happy we went with Weatherproof Roofing for our house. Adam was great to deal regarding replacing our chimney and shingles, everyone showed up on time, they were fast, cleaned everything up and did a great job. Excellent experience. I phoned on a Monday, got a quote on Tuesday and my garage was completed on Thursday. Adam and his crew worked efficiently and quickly, even though my garage roof was covered in snow. They repaired rotted boards and added 2 vents without charging me extra. Great service for a reasonable price - architecturally challenging detail required shingling as it had only been finished with pressure treated wood before.
