This is my favorite branch - customer service is always top notch, they prioritize giving thorough and attentive care to every customer. I never feel rushed, they've always kindly waived overdraft or temp check or cashier's check fees as a courtesy which I appreciate so much, and they regularly have coins in stock during the coin shortage. I see many poor reviews about wait time. Because this is a smaller location, in a shopping center, and the staff is giving every customer their due attention, the lines can understandably get long! A customer would be wise to call ahead for an appointment, ask when the slow times usually are, or try a larger or less popular branch if they don't want to wait. I don't understand people's attitudes of resenting having to wait because their preferred business happens to be successful. Thank you for adhering to covid safety guidelines, enforcing mask usage and distancing, providing hand sanitizer, and limiting customers in the lobby. I feel safety and health is a priority when I visit this business.
If I could give a "0" I would. Take your money and RUN. Thieves and Fraudsters. I now call them the Wells Mafia. One thousand dollars just vanished from my checking account about two months ago. I reported this to them in person to a banker at this location. He helped me file a fraud report and he told me the investigation would take 7-10 days and I would hear from them via email. I never heard anything. When I called Corporate after a month to check up, they told me the investigation was closed due the fact it was determined Wells was not in fact responsible or at fault. I have placed 4 phone calls to the banker and this location and have not heard a response. So beware, money may vanish from your account and Wells will take no responsibility. WELLS FARGO IS FRAUDULENT. The banker that assisted me, his name is Rafael. He was very nice at the time but told me to bank at another institution because Wells Fargo sucks and he works for you.
This branch historically has been a slow branch. Never enough tellers and long wait lines. A year or two ago they took away two teller spots and installed ATMs inside the branch where two tellers used to be. The ATMs hardly ever get used and there are only 2-3 tellers present at any given time. There is always 5-6 people waiting in line. God forbid one of the tellers/customers is having to do a lengthy transaction. Wait time goes up to 45 minutes. This was the case before COVID and now its just worst since the other Encino branch is temporarily closed.
Decent people working there but not enought staff at the windows. Usually only three people working windows and one of them is a hobbling 90 year old Asian woman who almost every costumer has had a problem with (she's slow and very confusing) so that leaves two tellers open to serve 12+ people. Also most people that are used to this bank just avoid dealing with her at all, she ends up standing at her window alone because no one wants to deal with her. Usually takes someone complaining for the manager to send out another teller
If I could I would give 0 stars during COVID. Before COVID the staff was helpful and friendly. Since COVID they are rude and not helpful. They are now closing early so I find it harder to get there by 5pm also. I went in tonight before closing and was told I needed an appointment and they would not help me. I do not see why they have to close early while taking less people due to COVID and then not help before before their early closing time - and rude on top of it. No thanks from this longtime customer looking for a new bank.
They charge 35 per overdraft. I went negative $240 then a $20, $5 and $12 charges showed up on the account each with a $35 fee. that's $277 negative and $140 in fees so now I'm $417 in the hole. If it were a loan they are charging %50 interest. But they are overdraft fees so that makes it legal. I'm obviously an Idiot for going negative but %50 penalty? REALLY? Don't be an Idiot like me. There is a Chase bank and a Bank of America a few blocks down the road. Go the extra block and don't support this bank.
worst WF branch. again, i had the worst customer service at this branch. you have a rude manger, poorly trained. i had a bank check certified for deposit and i got hassled by ariga hacopian, your manager. i have placed a formal complaint, but i will move my accounts to another bank that focus on customer service. also, there are cars parked in the fire lane everyday in front, and has been going on for years. your whole branch needs to be shut down.
My experiences at this branch have been very positive. I have been met with kindness and attentiveness each time I go to this branch. Special thank you to Clifford who was personable and positive, making the transaction easy. I was stressed and distracted as a result of my issue, but Clifford reassured me throughout and everything turned out great in the end. Thank you!
The bank in Encino is very much service oriented. The Wells Fargo Bank on Western in San Pedro leaves a lot to be desired. A black female manager is in charge. You have super long lines sometimes 1 teller. The see the line out to the door and will not add another teller. I refuse to visit this bank ever again.
Has to be the Slowest bank ive ever stepped foot in, They have a 100year old woman working as a clerk, 15 employees walking around and only 2 Windows open, I literally waited in line for 45 minutes just to hear the clerk and a client talk about why banks are so slow and the heat, ....I know why...
This is one of my favorite branches I have most of my clients bank with this location. They make it extremely easy for me to make deposits for my clients! The branch is never too crowded and the staff is very friendly. If you need a local bank this is the place.
The branch is small since it's supposed to be the bigger one especially in this area. The staff is friendly, efficient and fast. Wells Fargo is advised to please enlarge this branch.. Thanks
Worst service. Had to wait outside for an hour because there was only one teller available. In the meantime a couple of dudes hanging outside just to tell customers it’s their turn.
I've only been here a couple of times, but everytime the staff has helped me quickly and very professionally. I appreciate the kindness and the cleanliness!
WEEKENDS WITH 2 TELLERS? COME ON NOW, GET EMPLOYEES. STOP MAKING IT HARDER FOR WELLS FARGO COSTUMERS TO DO TRANSACTIONS.
Love this bank , easy banking with them, but not a great bank to open savings accounts or Time deposit.
Nice staff. They are always ready to help and im happy we have this branch here. Good job guys
This location has in-branch ATMs that dispense up to $4000 in hundred dollar bills.
Long wait, not enough help. Hard to use phone number to get anwser to your question
always line out the door. managers don't jump in and help. is ridiculous
They can't help with a simple question don't go
