I had the great fortune of Wendy Wolfe being recommended to me by a condo owner who was moving from our little complex. Wendy and I connected when I decided to sell my 2 bedroom condo in the east mountain area. She contacted me and we set up an appointment to meet in person at my home where she provided me with an information binder answering all the possible questions one would have in preparing to sell one’s home. We had several productive and meaningful meetings where she would come to my home and always brought homemade cookies to share as we discussed the requirements to sell my condo. We worked together for the next 2 months preparing and staging my condo to be photo-ready to finally advertise my home. She worked tirelessly in helping me pack up a full basement and a 2 bedroom condo. Once this was all sorted out she recommended a market selling price that I was comfortable with and posted the listing. Viewing dates were set up and within a very short period of time and an offer was presented. This offer was over the asking price and more than I had expected. Wendy worked with the buyer’s agent and lawyers and all was finalized according to real estate practice and within a reasonable amount of time. Once my moving date was settled, I contacted a moving company recommended to me by a previous owner in my complex and for 3 weeks we were in complete contact and agreement with all the details. Come moving day was another matter! That happened to be the day of our first snow storm and I received a call from the moving company that morning saying they were snowed in, and plows hadn’t plowed their street for them to access the road and were unable to come and were unable to move me that day. I became very upset as the new owner of my sold condo was coming in after I had left that day and moving in herself. After calming me down, Wendy dove into action and within a very short period of time found another moving company, 2 Small Men with Big Hearts, willing to take on an emergency move. The night before my moving day left a lot of snow on the ground but this company Wendy was able to obtain had already completed 2 moves that morning and were on their way home when the call came in. One of the movers had already left leaving only 2 movers to take on this job. They showed up about 1 hour later and started to move the many, many boxes from a very full basement and all that was on the first floor as well. By the time they had finished it was quite late and too late to start unloading at my new residence which was a retirement community located in the west mountain area so the decision was made to do an overnighter and unload the next morning at my new home. They showed up promptly and all went well the next day and my new life was to begin. Wendy has turned out to be more than an accomplished real estate agent, but someone who has volumes of ideas, recommendations, staging inventory and great baking skills and she listens to what I had to say and weighed the pros and cons of my concerns and ideas. Wendy even met with the resident real estate agent from the retirement community that I was purchasing a small 2 bedroom bungalow at no financial gain for Wendy but wanting to make sure I understood all they were offering and what was required of me. We keep in touch often as our personalities are similar and we share many of the same ideas, thoughts, phrases and likes and dislikes. We have become good friends from this professional connection and I am honoured to be considered her friend and look forward to having Wendy over in the summer to sit and enjoy my new surroundings and wildlife that visit my backyard..

I was referred to Wendy through a mutual acquaintance when I was looking to move. I am so grateful that we were connected. She helped us find our new home quickly even though we had a very limiting set of criteria. After she helped us find a beautiful new home she set to helping us sell our old one. We had expected the buying process to take SIGNIFICANTLY longer then it did and were not ready. To help us sell, over a two week period, Wendy did the following for us: -Found us an inexpensive storage unit -Put us in touch with an excellent contractor (during a pandemic) to put new trim up throughout our house -Dropped moving boxes off at our home. -Helped us pack in preparation to show the house -Helped us clean the house to show it -Put us in touch with a moving company -Put us in touch with a reliable electrician to complete work on short notice -Picked up and dropped off our deposit for the new house to save me a trip, which at the time was a god send After all that work she was able to sell our house in 4 days for over asking. The work that she put in was extraordinary, but she also brought a personal and very human touch to the process. The night that our home was being photographed we couldn't be home. We have two small children, and had to be out during dinner time. Wendy thanked us for all our hard work to get the house ready to show and paid for dinner out that night. To top it all off, once the houses had been bought and sold and we had moved into the new place she was the first person to come up and give us a housewarming present. It was all extremely touching. I honestly don't know if we would have been able to sell our old home with any other agent. If we had I am sure that we would have sold it for much less than what we ultimately got for it. Wendy is a fantastic real estate agent and a wonderful person. I am very, very grateful to her and will be referring all my friends to her in the future. Thank you again Wendy for all your help!

Wendy Wolfe is no exception, of course, but she’s so much more than that. Even before meeting Wendy in person, I felt instantly at ease. My partner and I fell in love with a listing of hers online but were unable to make the open house. I messaged her incessantly while we were away; she was nothing but receptive and patient, making sure to find an alternative time for us to view the property. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew Wendy was the realtor for us (in fact, we didn’t even consider another option; it was an implicit understanding). I was referred to Wendy through my listing agent in Pickering when I was searching for my new home somewhere in Hamilton. We chatted on the phone initially for awhile to gauge my wants and needs followed up by several texts and emails with prospective houses. Wendy was great to work with at a really tough time in my life. My mom passed away and i chose her to sell my moms house. She got right in there and worked like crazy to get my moms house ready to sell. It looked so beautiful. She managed to sell it quickly in a pandemic. Wendy is absolutely wonderful she was thorough and professional and great to work with. It’s like having a friend on the “inside” that is working for you. She really care about her clients. What can I say of Wendy except she is Fabulous. She assisted in selling my old home and purchasing my perfect new house.
