Really good value for money old school hotel axcomodation with modern restaraunt, bar and gaming areas. Bar and gaming close between 6am and 9am. Restaurant open from 8am for breakfast. At $98 a night for a double/queen bed room, the hotel represented a really good value for money for anyone wanting access to the Olympic Park area. Definitely recommended. Would be a repeat customer.

Older style rooms from original pub/hotel. As such, basic door locks and furnishings. Older style shared gender specific bathrooms with locale stalls and bath/shower combo stalls. However, it's part of the old school hotel charm and wouldn't prevent me from being a return customer. Very comfortable bed with clean linen, towels, and toiletries.

Basic locks on rooms (double latch), however many cameras withint the hotel itself and around the car park to enable overwatch of personal vehicles.
Walkability
About a kilometre from Olympic Park, providing easy access to a number of sporting and entertainment events. Was also surprised by the amount of local food trucks wishing the local area open at all hours.

Modern style restaraunt with large comfortable indoor and outdoor areas. Outdoor areas allow access to both the car park and decent play area for kids. An excellent restaurant with a decent variety of menu options at a reasonable price, representing value for money. I tried. Couple of meals while staying at the hotel, and all were delicious. Really good customer service.

Just stayed here with my son as we were attending the Lizzo concert at Qudos Bank Arena and the location was really only thing that I can speak positively on. Beforehand, i called to check if the hotel had any onsite check in fees to pay and no one seemed to know anything. The room was just enough - covering the basic need which was a bed to sleep and the small plug in heater. The room itself smelt of smoke, the bathrooms were absolutely filthy.... I was hesitant to shower but after a long day of travel to unwind I really needed one. The shower had zero water pressure, took a long time to become lukewarm and when i looked to my feet i discovered the the water was actually dark brown - and it was not from me. The plumbing or water they are using was not suitable to wash with. I don't think I will return to sleep and rather go across the road to the other accomodation place next time I visit. The only thing great that I can reccomend was seeing the good looking manager that helped the bartender girl checked me in.

This is crazy. We came to the hotel at 1am because of the delay of a flight. We tried to check in and the staff acted so astonished and incredibly rude. An asian lady refused us to check in and showed no respects and compassion. She just wanted to drive us away through continuously disrupting us when we tried to explain our needs. She said she busy dealing with another white guys “important” Visa cards matter instead of deal with two “troublesome” Asian women customers So, at 1 am, we two were refused to stay in our pre booked accommodation. Instead, we felt like we are discriminated, unfairly treated and disrepected. It seems that we are begging for an accommodation and she was like a representative of justice to judge us. It looks like it’s a harassment when we came to the hotel. I looked through the bad review on google map,there were more than 5 bad reviews related to the bad attitude of a lady staff. I suppose it might be the same person. The worst experience of accommodation during the my 5-year stay in Australia. I am so disappointed.

Incredible rude and impolite. Refused us to check in when we arrived at 1am although there are several people at the reception. A rude Asian lady keep disrupting us from talking and force us to follow her rule, stopping us wearing a helpless smile. Not showing kindness, just respond with an answer of the hotel’s rule. I am also running a business, that’s not a good customer service and how you treat your customers. She is exactly a kind of employee who will ruin your bosses’ business and bosses even don’t know why. Without her own thinking, way of dealing with matters, she was just like an annoying machine, teaching us how to be a poor customer. We arrived at 1:30am 10 Oct. I believe you can easily check out who was at the reception and served us. We do believe that the hotel management should seriously talk to that lady. She will ruin your business later or sooner.

We booked this the night before we stayed, and I was presently surprised, especially for the price. The food downstairs was quite nice, and the beds were very comfortable. A bit weird that the bathroom sink is in the sleeping room, but not a deal breaker. We did have someone just randomly walk into our room as I was changing. It turns out they had accidently given another couple the same room key- so that was a bit worrying. But the reception was very understanding. The location was a $13 uber ride to the Qudos Arena, which was perfect! Be warned that the reception is inside a gambling/pokies area where smoking is allowed, so might be a bit of a shock if you have asthma or don't expect. Overall, for 2 people, I would be happy to stay again.

After reading both the reviews and the owner’s responses for the pub, my husband and I popped in for dinner as we waited for our son to finish athletics at Homebush. Well I can say it’s well worth the time. Service really great, the staff are so friendly, approachable and the owner has enabled them with ‘powers’ to fix problems . Kat looked after us so beautifully, and managed to smooth over a problem with a clever solution. The food was great! I had the fish special… so good.. my husband got the cheese burger. Inside a bit noisy, but the outside was perfect! We’ll happily come back… thanks team!!!

This hidden gem is our favourite place to catch up with friends since we had the bub. It is wheelchair and stroller friendly so it's easy for people with kids to dine. Service and food is good. Price is reasonable and there is a great selection. Only complain I have from the recent trip is the burger wasn't as good as what we usually have, it was abit too dry. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend getting the fish of the day with mash.

The hotel and service was fine for what we paid. However our room reaked of cigarette smoke. The pokies area also smelled of smoke, which is fine. But the rooms themselves should be held to a better standard. Perhaps you should pick a different hotel if you're sensitive to smoke. We were fine with it for one night, but probably wouldn't book a room here again as a result.

Only went there for dinner. A little bit over priced, pizza was $25 for regular size. Chips were very nice and crunchy, we didn't know the outside and restaurant side was about to close, but they allowed us to still order food..so we had to rush eating our food or we were moved to where people were smoking.

Over priced for what you get. No dressing on Salad and mash potatoes were served cold. Paid $40 each meal and could of done a better job at home. I wanted to return the food first bite but didn't want to spoil the mood of everyone else though I wish I did once Everyone said they were also disappointed. Music was so loud and defiantly the wrong choice of music for a background sound, people were screaming at each other to be heard over it, far from relaxing and a horrible experience over all.

Came here for a meal a few times. The meals have never been disappointing even when they're on special. The presentation was clean and tasted good, not your average pub food. Also, it's clean and not sticky. Definitely worth a comeback.

Came for dinner on a Sunday night ordered 2 Steaks which was nice but got charged a 15% surcharge because it was Sunday?? Not a public holiday ! So our meals cost an extra $11. Then main bar stood and waited for service no one in site to be told go to pokie area for drinks. They obviously aren’t using surcharge to pay staff. Will avoid Sundays from now on .

I recently celebrated my 40th Birthday and the acting manger on duty, Om (apologies if I have misspelt her name) was an absolute superstar. She ensured my guest were looked after, the food came out as scheduled and the place was well kept and tidy. I highly recommend any function to be held at Wentworth Hotel.

Nice pub, Good atmosphere, fitout looks contemporary very good for family's and large groups nice outdoor area with children's play area. Good food at relatively affordable prices, especially if you order special of the day.

Great that you’re able to get a meal all day. Food was delicious, beautiful hotel, huge back deck. Will definitely go there again if we are in the area.
