West End Marta Station is very easy to access especially when you're going into downtown or the airport Hartsfield-Jackson! or to a Atlanta Braves baseball game Atlanta Hawks Atlanta Falcons! all sports Expeditions conventions & everything else in between!! With this being said I would highly recommend West End Marta transit station for all your traveling needs to & from & around this wonderful beautiful city that we call Atlanta Georgia! To many shady none riders standing around, they just cut the grass last week. Shame on Marta for letting the Westend station look like a abandoned town. Marta is a critical transportation medium and Marta should make sure patrons and the public at large respect their property. My nephew uses the train to bring my wife his child so he can work. He lives in Doraville and it is more efficient to travel by train than car to meet his Aunt. Security should be Marta's concern for the traveling public.

This station is one of the ones that the train goes above ground which makes it great when there's good time because it doesn't have that depressing effect. It's a really big station and a lot of lights at night. No screens to have an idea of when the next train is coming. The wall sculpture is outside in the south entrance and very original and different from other stations.

The parking spaces at West end are too narrow. If you don't park perfectly, the spot next to you is not usable. If Marta would remove one space per row and use the extra room to make all the spots a little wider, parking would be easier for everyone, and just as many people could park there as is possible now, since some spaces always end up being unusable anyway.

This is a useful and convenient MARTA station. It's clean, well-lit, and has a great parking lot for park-and-ride. It's good for going to games, work, or concerts. The parking lot is well-lit and patrolled by MARTA officers. I never see broken glass. However, there is no overnight parking. Get dropped off if you're going to the airport.

MARTA is often faster than driving in rush hour/ driving downtown, and saves the trouble of finding secure, affordable parking. Also the view on the lines that are above ground is pretty breath-taking. I don't take MARTA after dark, but do enjoy using MARTA for my commuting to work, to downtown, and to classes.

I’m out of towner. I usually ride from Indian Transit Creek Station because of my cousins close area. When, I participated Atlanta Track Club and picking packet at Atlantic Station. West End Transit is easy and fast round trips, then I can drive back to home(Augusta) on I-20.

Just outside of this Marta Station you will find within walking distance; Higher Education, a Shopping Mall, Street Entertainment, Atlanta-Style Southern Hospitality, Food Galore, Bike Rental, and a multitude of people watching subjects.

Its ok the elevator smells like piss like the ones at five points and art center you ask for them to be clean but station attendant just look at you but that is why i take the stairs

Sketchy train station in a sketchy part of town. Apparently, the cost of riding MARTA is free. So many people slip in behind others or push doors open to get into the station.

Can't stand all of the homeless people that hangs out around this here train station every day. Their very ignorant and also disrespectful too. A whole lot.

I've had good experiences meeting people here at this MARTA station. There are ample kiss-and-ride slots where you can park to meet incoming travelers.

A rat ran over my feet while I waited on the train. There is a rodent problem especially on the south lines not just the West End.

It's not bad there are marta employees in sight unlike oakland and the doors dont shut close before you can walk through them

I had to bore a special Marta bus 2day, because someone lose there live by jumping on the rail track at Oakland train station

It's okay. It's not very convenient if you're in a hurry to get to the 2nd level platform to catch the train

Nice station, but way too many homeless people forcing their way in and using the elevators as RESTROOMS!!

The 71 is always late or leave early cause they switch route or whatever bs excuse the driver gives you

I like the convenience of being able to enter the station on any side or entrance easily.

Just be mindful of your surroundings a mode of transportation to get around.

It's the only way West to the Perimeter via MARTA.
