My children have been patients at this office for several years. We really like the dental hygienist and she is the saving grace for this practice. Sadly the front office practices are frustrating. #1 They call, text and email repeatedly for appointment reminders. This is great except they need to figure out their system so it doesn't keep contacting you despite you confirming the appointment several times. #2 Despite paying 100% upfront for braces we had "add on" costs at nearly every orthodontic appointment #3 Their orthodontist left during the middle of our treatment plan and the office gave us zero warning! The new ortho completely changed treatment plans that again would result in additional fees. #4 The office staff hounds you for money at the beginning and end of your appointment for added effect. Today they were relentless over a $22 balance that had been paid by my HSA but apparently misapplied. It is a shame because this office is in a great location for us but I am tired of being hassled each time I visit. We've already found a new orthodontist and have been seeing him for several months and it is a world of difference with their staff. (Affiliated Orthodontics is amazing!) We will now be looking for a new office for regular dental visits.

Yesterday my daughter had the best experience. First the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The waiting area was kid friendly with ipads to play with and fun things to look at. Next the hygienist was amazing. She let my daughter pick out her new toothbrush and took her over to a chair that had a TV in front of it. She was able to pick a movie to watch while she had her teeth cleaned. Also during xrays the hygienist was so patient and kind to my very anxious daughter. The best part...the dentist! He showed all of the xrays to my daughter, who is 5, by the way, and began describing her teeth in a way she could understand! I was so impressed! Then when it was time to pay for the service, I was given an itemized sheet and a very sweet women explained everything to me. I have never been so happy with a dentists office. Keep up the great work!!

Brought in my 6 year old son today and was thoroughly impressed. From the set up & accommodations of the reception area, to the ease and functionality of the back treatment/consult area. Also, encountered friendly staff who demonstrate care and attention to their patients, our kids! Met with Dr. Tyler Jackson, who was extremely patient with all my questions and thoroughly knowledgeable in his field. He not only, provided me with lots of recommendations and options for treatment and care, but also handled my anxiety (as a first-time parent having to go through this with my child) with plenty of reassurance and patience. Knowing what to expect, both my son and I look forward to coming back for his procedures. Thank you for all your assistance through this process!

I have been taking my kids there for years. I have always been happy with the level of service received. However, it is insane how one phone call can change your entire perspective. I just got off the phone with a representative to schedule an appointment. I let her know my insurance information. She told me she was not sure if they accepted it and that I would have to figure that out. Shouldn't the Dr's office know if they accept this insurance or not? She literally wouldn't budge to help me figure it out. Honestly a terrible experience nothing against the people working at the dentist office because like I said ALWAYS a wonderful experience. This review is for the scheduling department which in the end I guess is the dentist office since I speak to them first.

We visited today by referral from my family dentist. My 5 year old was excited to see a bubble wall and tablets oh and a monkey hanging from a tree. Clean fun and atmosphere. Updated equipment from electronic xrays to the personal tv screens infront of dentist chairs. I was able to see xrays, discuss treatment while he watched his own personal movie. He was relaxed and engaged with the staff. Staff was kind and answered all my questions, even offered assistance for self pay by their office program to help save $$$'s. Thank you, I appreciated a clean updated friendly and kid kind staff and Dr. Brownstein was our doc and I'm sticking with him. Appreciated the extra care and kindness spent with us today. Highly recommend.

Talk about Amazing! The Front Desk folks, as well as the Dental Professional staff here, are the sweetest people I have ever experienced within a dental professional environment, quite literally, in my entire life. The entire time here is nothing less than comforting, especially for my brand new 1st grader! Less than a mile from Stetson Hills Elementary School, convenient is an understatement! To all folks who care for and love their children, West Valley Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontic's is the right choice because they really take the bite out of your everyday, uncomfortable, scary, sometimes painful, pediatric dental experience! They make it okay to be a kid at the dentist!

2016: This pediatric dentistry is excellent (Happy Valley Road location). The office is clean, well designed and user (children) friendly. It is also very fun in its jungle/ savanna animals theme! The staff is friendly and great with parents and children. The dental assistants and dentists are also friendly, gentle and kind with my 2-yr old, and really take the time to discuss her oral health with me. I really appreciate that! This pediatric dentistry is everything you should expect from a pediatric dentistry, plus more! 2018: This dentistry continues to offer kind, gentle care for my children.

All three of my children get services here and I have always been pleased with the care and attention the staff give to both my kids and to me as a parent. My son was having swelling issues from an infection over the weekend and they responded quickly by getting him antibiotics and checking in throughout the weekend to see how he was doing. The care we received today to treat the infection was also a great experience with them explaining the options thoroughly and easing any concerns or stresses my son was having by talking to him in a caring matter.

I took my 2 daughters here today (ages 4 and 2) and we had the best experience possible. My oldest has a lot of anxiety when it comes to anything medical so I was nervous about another scream fest at the dentist. But today was all smiles. They were kind, and patient, and gave my daughter a lot of her own choices which led us to a really great and fun dentist experience. The girls told me they are excited to go back! I would definitely recommend taking your kiddos here.

I took my three year old son here for his first dental checkup. The office staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment I set the appointment over the phone. The hygienist, Sandy, was great with my son. She made him very comfortable, and I credit her child friendly approach for his relaxed behavior throughout the appointment. The dentist did a great job of communicating with both my son and I. I am very pleased to have found this dentist office.

I would recommend this place. The office is nice and clean and there are TVs and iPads for kids to use while waiting. The dental assistant was sweet and very patient with my 19 month old who was being a terror. Dr. Brady was super nice, and also demonstrated a lot of patience. They explained things to my 6 year old as they were doing it which I feel like helped him feel more at ease. I will continue to bring my kids to this location.

My poor 8 year old has my genetically bad teeth. After working with three other prior dentists I finally found West Valley! He loves that he gets to pick out his tooth brush, fluoride flavor, movie and prize machines. I love the no insurance pricing/programs, various sedative options for major procedures and enagaging both for the parent and child and proactive approach of the staff. I highly recommend West Vallet!

Great staff, convenient hours and multiple locations. Love that they have orthodontia in the same office, so all dental work can be managed in one location. Offices are clean and beautifully decorated, and enticing to kids, with movies playing at every chair. They encourage the kids to be independent and brave, and because they are gentle and caring, kids learn that the dentist is not scary! Definitely recommend!

We just moved to the area and I took all 3 of my very anxious kids to see WVPD for their first dentist appt in AZ and I was so impressed! The office is adorable, clean, comfortable for the kids and the staff was amazing. 2/3 kids had a meltdown and they handled it with ease which was such a relief for me. I would absolutely recommend them and my kids are actually excited to go back in 6 months!

We started out at Surprise location before moving out of state. Staff there was absolutely amazing. After coming back I found that 2 new offices were now open and we ended up at the Happy Valley location. Again amazing staff. Fast, friendly, honest, caring, and the only dentist that could get my son to take x-rays without traumatising him. We won't go to any other place!!

Today was my first time going to the dentist, she is two years old. I recommend this office to everyone with little ones. The staff is so nice and visited with my daughter the whole time. They have movies at each dental chair for the kids to watch and be entertained while being seen. The dentist was fantastic. My daughter had a great time going to the dentist.

I was very satisfied with the precautions they used to help keep their patients and themselves safe. Everyone was wearing a mask and they had us wash our hands upon arrival. I felt reassured that my kids were in an environment that was clean. And like every visit the dental hygienist and dentist were super friendly and were great with my young children.

My husband and I took our 3 kids here. It was incredibly easy to get all 3 of our kiddos in at the same time. The hygienists were incredibly patient and reassuring with my young children. Dr. Jackson was amazing! He was extremely informative and great with the kids. Our kids had a great experience, and I am so happy to have found such a great dentist.

I took my daughter for her appointment today. Things couldn't have been better! The dental hygienist was amazing! My daughter was very scared and they helped her stay calm and enjoy her check up. Dr. Bailey explained every step to her and was very patient. When we were leaving my daughter said she had fun! We will definitely be back.

Friendly staff & very clean facility. Excellent dental care. My only complaint would be the difficulty of getting appointments for orthodontics before and after school. I really hate to pull my child from class to get check ups on his braces, it can be very frustrating scheduling appointments that fit a busy families schedule.

Everything went very timely for our appointment. The paperwork I had previously filled out was not in their system, but it was quick to do again in the office since I arrived a few minutes early. They made my daughter feel very comfortable for her first visit and I look forward to returning for her next appointment.

The office is always very clean and organized and the front desk lady always has a smile. The back office staff are very calm and patient when dealing with my kiddo and explain everything to him so he knows what's coming.
