Very tender memorial to those of the Utahn monarchy who have passed. It was very thoughtful of them to use the land for a children's park as well, though it provides a bit of an eerie setting for childish play. I do also find it strange we couldn't distinguish ourselves in name from Westminster Abbey, although the unnecessarily spread-out park equipment and plants are a much better reflection of American tradition than a cramped, fanciful church. All in all, a lovely memorial, some excellent swings, and a nice pavillion to reflect on the royalty that has come before.

Nice shady place to play. Playground is just okay. Good for a stop to play with out needing sun screen. But you'll be bored after a bit. Needs more swings with some for toddlers. And they need to re bark the play structure, which is just a bit lacking.

My family visited this park to see the Tree of Lights. It was a very cold but beautiful time spent during school vacation! The only thing I would say was disappointing was that attraction was it. There were other lights but tge Tree of Lights was it.

Tiny little corner Park on 17th South and 9th East mostly designed for kids small playground with well kept equipment couple of small park benches. Great if you live in the area and have kids.
Playground
Basic stuff but well kept.

Send like a really nice place with lots of stuff for kids to do. My little brothers had a blast running around here for hours. I know that they lost a toy by the baseball field and the next day it was still at the park! So awesome!

This park may be little, but it is nevertheless an excellent park. The playground is very fun, and well maintained. The entire park is covered in the shade of tall trees. The only drawback is the limited street parking.

  • Elizabeth DeBroux Jones

Small park; good shade, several round tables and a small gazebo. Perfect for toddlers and kindergarteners. Only bummer is that they only have 2 regular swings - no bucket swings for littles.

  • Bernice White

This is a great and nice park. It is small but not real small. Not so big that a kid can get lost easy. They have a covered area were you can sit and rest. No BBQ pits. Very nice to me.

  • JeiCee Mendez

Adorable tiny park. Cute gondola and play place. Beautiful trees. Only downside is that it's on a busier street so there are a steady stream of cars on one side of the park.

  • Bee Fleming

Cute place with a fun playground they use mulch instead of gravel which can be a bit splintery and it hasn't been refilled for a while so watch your step moving around

  • Christian Lenhart

Relaxing small park with big shady trees, places to sit, grass to spread out on, a drinking fountain, and a playground with slides, swings, and a climbing structure.

  • Mona Castro

My toddler loves this park. Nice, clean, quiet, and a number of fun things to do. No baby swings...just regular swings. A few slides. Etc.

  • Sol Unum

The park is quaint. Well maintained and very peaceful. The gazebo with seats perfect to read on a sunny afternoon. I recommend it.

  • Creeamie

The drinking fountain doesn't work, was angry because I walked here for about 30 minutes, and the fountain didn't dispense water.

  • Nat Carson

Small but quiet park that is easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. Swings, gazebo, and bench seating are available

  • JC Mendez

Extremely small park. Allows dogs, but not fenced securely. Very cute and quiet. Next to a fairly busy street though.

  • Bob Fawcett

Great park for little kiddies. The slides and such are well shaded for when it gets hot in the summer
