I came to this place because of a recommendation from a friend. At first they looked good. Place was nice. I brought my bike for a maintenance and a couple of specific checks. I took back the bike the next day. It was a fast service. That's nice. But then I saw couple of issues. Bike cleaning was not very detailed. Inner ring looked like it was barely touched, still covered in the old oil. Which made the chain dirty again as soon as I pedalled. Same for jockey wheels and some other parts. I requested at the beginning if they could take a look at the rattling noise at the rear wheel. In invoice it says it is fixed, but the noise is still there. Maybe they really didn't understand it. But as a mechanic they should be able to locate it. Overall, for the money they take the service doesn't worth it. It was an average at best.

Ik heb hier mijn fixed gear cinelli onder gebracht voor wat ik een simpele ingreep dacht. Namelijk het vervangen van de aandrijving. Bij nadere controle bleek het hele gevaarte zo vast te zitten als menig flatgebouw. Via aanraden van melvin (held) ben ik toen in contact gekomen met een Amsterdamse fiets goeroe die mij heeft door kunnen wijzen naar een groningse fiets god, die het heeft kunnen oplossen. Vervolgens gingen de boys van Wheel runner weer aan de bak en leverde een geweldige opgeknapte fiets. Het feit dat deze gasten niet schromen om door te verwijzen wanneer het probleem de interne opties te boven gaan en dat ze daarna ook zelf het werk zonder pardon weer oppakken, reken ik onder top service! 5 sterren wel verdiend.

Ik kan oprecht bijna een boek schrijven over de service hier, erg fijn om een betrouwbare, transparante en hulpzame zaak in de buurt te hebben. Bas en z'n team zijn top. Een van mijn ervaringen: voor het NK gravel had mijn fiets een grote beurt nodig en dit lukte mij helaas niet allemaal zelf waar ik uiteraard te laat achter kwam... M'n fiets is last minute opgeknapt en heeft me naar een 22e plek gebracht, naderhand was de vervangen Bottom bracket vrij snel weer versleten en deze is kostenloos vervangen.

Wij zijn in fietswinkel in het oosten van het land, wij hadden een derailleur kabel verkeerd gemonteerd bij aflevering. klant (komend uit A'dam) wilde graag op zaterdag op de fiets. Ik nam contact op met Wheelrunner, zij namen de juiste montage belangeloos van ons over, niet alleen collegiaal en klantvriendelijk, maar hieruit blijkt vooral hert grote hart voor fietsen en de mens die ervan moet genieten. Wheelrunner-staff THX !!!!!!

The team at wheelrunner fixed my girlfriend's creaking bottom bracket (which required a somewhat specialty part for a touring bike) in less than two hours. We were on a long distance tour and discovered the majority of Amsterdam's bike shops serve city bikes and not racing bikes with gears. This shop went above and beyond with problem solving and service.

These guys know their stuff and are friendly and unpretentious. super busy but the do their best to look after you. Trusting a shop with your prized race bike is not a small thing - and you will be well looked after here. Great experience so far! (I have been to several bike shops in town and this are far and above the best)

The only place I have and will take my road bike in Amsterdam. These guys did a great job building my bike when I had it shipped from overseas and are very knowledgeable, fair with prices, and unpretentious (even for those of us who don’t know as much as we should about bikes living in Holland). Onwijs vakkundig en vriendelijke gasten die je altijd te woord staan en helpen. Wheelrunner heeft zowel nieuwe Enve velgen van m’n racefiets geleverd/gemonteerd met tubeless banden alsmede m’n mountainbike van tubeless banden voorzien. Wat een gigantisch verschil, super tevreden met de resultaten!

After a brand new delivery of a Canyon race bike, the gears were not setup properly. Reached out to these guys to see if they could squeeze me in and they fixed it whilst I grabbed a coffee round the corner. Super happy with the level of service and professionalism. Recommend them highly

Really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, I was on pinch/urgency with my disc brakes while traveling, and they help me and actually when above and beyond and service actually both brakes and tune some other parts that weren't properly setup, I really recommend.

I brought my new Canyon race bike to the shop for an adjustment of the gears, I was offered help on the spot, super efficient fix and I even left the shop with great recommendations for a bike fit. Amazing service. Will come back with my bike again!

This is a great LBS with friendly, knowledgeable people willing to go the extra mile. Bas is a solid mechanic that knows what he is doing and does the job right. Remember when you support you Local Bike Shop you are supporting the community!

I can only say positive things about this workshop for bicycles. Knowledge and experience, openness to questions, and having taken a few of the workshops to learn things as well, it's really a pleasure to come here.

M'n Canyon racefiets voor een onderhoudsbeurt weggebracht en hij kwam er gewoon beter uit dan dat ie ooit geweest is! :) (2 jaar oud nu) Dat verdiende wel een vermelding hier dacht ik, top fietsenmaker!
