This review is a little overdue as I have been going to White Willow dental clinic for over 3 years now. Done full exams, regular cleanings etc. for me and my child. I had the same dentist for over 30 years in another city so it wasn't easy for me to trust a new dentist and dental clinic. I had high expectations and they were met here! It's an A+ for customer service and welcoming staff, the easiness to book appointments, dealing with insurance claims and payments, these people will do everything necessary! Dr. Amaro is professional and knowledgeable, I am happy with my fillings and exams! Every treatment is explained before and I never felt there was any pressure for a procedure or anything that was unnecessary. The patient is well informed and respected. You just need to ask questions and you can always decide to wait or not opt for a treatment. Same applies when I brought my child, they always check with me before doing anything. Mariam is my hygienist and she is the best, always providing advices. Being available over lunch time makes it so convenient for me to book my appointments on weekdays! They are also open on Saturdays, we'll try that soon! My kid had only positive experiences even when she had some cavities and needed fillings (it went great despite that needles were involved!). There are always little surprises for the kids (stickers and small toys) and that is so important in making the kids looking forward to the dentist appointments! that's all my kid remembers if you ask her, the surprise and how brave she was! Finally, I know it may seem superficial or irrelevant to the dental treatments, but all those little details in the waiting room, the décor, the apples, the water, they make a difference, everything makes you feel cozy as if to say welcome to the teeth spa :-) I found some pictures from my daughter's first appointment in summer 2017! It was fun and all smiles!

Absolutely the best dental office I ever been to. The front staff, assistants and the dentists are always on top of their game. As soon as You walk in You will feel like at home. Everyone in the office are super friendly and treat You like a family member. I do not have enough words to describe how good this office is and people that are working there. Everyone will work for the best of the interests of Yours, rather the office. Hassle free service, as they work directly with the insurance companies and will make every single call and submission on behalf of You. If I could leave 10 star rating I would do so, no doubt. We brought there our little son for the appointment for the first time, ended up us, the whole family, shifting to this office and boy o boy, what a right decision it was. If You need a dentist and the staff that will take care of You, DO NOT look further. Super happy and impressed with their customer service. Thank You WHITE WILLOW STAFF. I wouldn't normally try out a new dentist (for me) with an intense procedure like a root canal, but this was the situation I found myself in. After an agonizing night spent in pain while searching online for nearby dental centres, I found White Willow Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. I had been contemplating changing dentists for awhile but kept putting it off. I guess it's true what they say, things happen for a reason. I couldn't have been in better hands. I called the centre as soon as it opened and was fit in immediately. The staff are all warm, welcoming and very accommodating. Dr. Amaro is an amazing dentist: methodical and patient, she provides a very calming environment. It's actually a pleasure now to go to the dentist! The centre itself is beautiful, clean and fully up-to-date technology-wise, and the procedures are very reasonably priced. I'm so glad I found this dental centre.

I think this dental office has a great hygienist team! I have always had positive experience with my dental cleanings. However, recently my husband went to have some cleaning/fillings completed. After procedure, dentist stated it was a temporary filling. That is not what he went for, and it was not discussed prior. Also, it went from 3 fillings to 5 in less than a month? Charged for fluoride, when he never asked for it. When I called on March 10th, the receptionist stated a temporary filling was done because of pain? However, he was given a numbing injection, and did not state he was in pain. Two days later that filling fell out (suppose to last 6-8 weeks). They placed over $1700 of charges to my insurance for two visits. I have been reading stories of others with similar situations in regards to private insurance.

Friendly staff and great location in Scarborough with lots of free parking. Mariam did a great job on my cleaning. She took the time to review proper oral hygiene techniques and was encouraging and supportive. My family and I have been patients at the practice for over a year and are happy with the quality of care provided by Dr. Amaro and her staff. Had a another appointment on October 12 th. Another great experience. Very thorough and ver professional care. Another great experience on March 19. Some people dislike going to the dentist and I was one of them prior to being introduced to Dr. Amaro. Dr. Amaro runs a wonderful practice and all her staff, hygienists included, are very friendly, courteous and professional. Really top notch all the way around. I fully recommend White Willow to everyone.

I had an dental emergency last week and the team at White Willow were very helpful and accommodating in seeing me quickly. Dr. Amaro is very thorough and helpful. I can tell her and the team are very passionate about what they do, and the genuine care they have for their patients. Her team is very courteous and professional, and they explained everything very clearly to me. They did everything to keep me comfortable and answered all of my questions. I felt taken care of the entire time and they made the dental visit as pleasurable as could be considering the circumstances. I've since been for a follow up appointment and it was a similar experience. Needless to say, I have decided to switch dental providers and look forward to depending on White Willow for my future dental needs

I'd like to extend my deep appreciation to the service that i had received at White Willow Dental. The ladies were attentive and pleasant, answered all the questions i had about the scope of work required. Dr Amaro did an impeccable job on my tooth fillings, so when the freezing was gone, I did not have go back to adjust the bite. Erica was super nice and assisted me in every possible way to make me feel comfortable during each visit. The receptionist Marijana had a very friendly disposition and was pleasant to interact with. Overall, I felt i was welcomed, treated with attention, professionalism and care which totally met my expectations. I will recommend this dental office with confidence to my friends and family.

Suffering greatly from tooth pain, the staff worked hard to shift their schedule around to fit me in as soon as they could and get me a diagnosis and more importantly, some relief. That kicked off a year long overhaul of my pearly whites which included help with oral surgeons and the like. They made a difficult process easy for me. Dr. Amaro shows a genuine concern for her patients, and you can tell that she's just as uncomfortable with any procedure that might make the patient uncomfortable as the actual patient is, which is comforting. My home is now 50km away from this office, but I'll continue to go here, in deference to closer options, as I know that I can trust this office and the work they perform.

I had been putting off finding a new dentist because I pretty much hate the dentist. After some searching I found White Willow and after one phone call to the office and I knew I was heading in the right direction. Sarah, the office manager put me at ease and gave me all the information I needed. They were so flexible and accommodating for scheduling as well. After my first appointment, I knew I had made the right choice and have found my new dentist! Dr. Amaro is amazing and kind and Erica is such a pleasure to work with as well. I felt very comfortable in the office and also that I could trust Dr. Amaro and her team. I would highly recommend White Willow if you are looking for a new dental care team!

I've been going here for 5 years but I won't be returning after they charged me above and beyond my plan for the second time. The first time, I considered it an accident and let it go, but the second time it's clear that this is their regular behaviour. For background, my plan covers 95% and I have excellent coverage, but they maxed out the plan and actively surpassed my coverage without notifying me, and then forced me to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket on the spot. Again, this is the second time. They act like everything is covered and then demand money once the service is done so you can't say no. Very deceptive practices that compromise patients ability to give informed consent.

Zero stars. I had an appointment for a chipped tooth repair. After waiting for at least 20 minutes I was moved to another room because their x_ray machine didn't work. After the x_rays went back to first room. The Hygienists proceeded to scale my teeth and I needed to spit and rinsed out there was no spit bowl next to me. I ask for a napkin. There was nothing. I just get up from the broken chair that the arm rest was on the floor spit on the tiny sing located in the room rinced my mouth with the palm of my hand I walk out. I did pay x amount of money for nothing. Stay away from this unprofessional practice. This is CANADA. Thank you.

I came to white willow with high dental phobia. I had put off going in for years due to bad experiences in the past and the more I put it off the worse it got and the more I was embarassed to go in, it was a vicious circle. I found white willow online and called in. I explained my fears and they completly understood, so I made an appointment. It was a decision I'll never regret!! Dr Amaro and her team are so friendly and wonderful, she has given back my smile and I'll be forever grateful!! I wish I could give 10 stars! I highly recommend White Willow Dental. I recently changed locations a few months ago and have been very impressed with the service here thus far. I admit I am usually hesitant about staying on top of my regular check-ups. That said, every time I have gone in I have found the entire staff were very friendly, thorough, making sure I was as comfortable as possible. What I really like best is that I didn’t feel guilty or judged afterwards, but instead encouraged. Dr. Amaro is very devoted, taking the time to go over my entire treatment plan. I have to say I will be definitely coming back to White Willow Dental.

Great experience. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Receptionist is so sweet and called to make sure after a number of extractions I was doing fine at home. The dental hygienist made me feel so comfortable and right at home. Dr. Vaddey did my extractions and he was so kind. Made sure I wasn’t in any discomfort and had enough freezing before continuing. I was doing a number of extractions and was so nervous. Originally was getting 4 teeth extracted but he was able to change that to 3 teeth and a quick simple filling for the other tooth. Highly recommended this dental office.

I just switched to this office and had an excellent experience with Dr. Amaro and her team. They were all very friendly and did their best to make my experience a great one. The office itself is very clean and organized; my appointment started and ended on time. My hygienist was able to make my cleaning nearly completely pain free. Dr. Amaro herself is very knowledgeable and explained to me all of my options moving forward. She was very patient and kind and I look forward to many continued years in her care. I would highly recommend this practice to my friends and family.

I have been to this location when it was under different management and I had the worse experience there, because the male that was providing the care was unprofessional and lied about his qualifications which lead me to have complications and empty pockets, due to the cost. Now that the facility has changed to more professional and reliable individuals I cant express how amazing they really are. I never felt so comfortable and relaxed in a dentist office before; they made me feel like I had nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend.

Central location with parking. Very welcoming and soothing staff to ease those always nervous of visiting the dentist. Dr. Amaro is reassuring, thorough and gentle. Hygienist Veronica did a fantastic job on not only the cleaning, but ensuring I was fully aware of best practices for cleaning, flossing and general care of my teeth. Judy is a great hygienist and is so thorough and gentle cleaning my teeth. She also does my wife's who now has no fear of having pain getting her teeth cleaned. Sara in the front office provides excellent customer service and explanation of billing and insurance claim submissions. Dr. Amaro is great working with her patients and giving me the best path forward to dental stability.

The clinic is very nice and clean. Dr. Amaro and the rest of the staff are all very good and knowledgeable. My hygienist, Veronica, makes my every visit a good experience because she tries to make each scaling as pain free as possible. She gives good tips on how to take care of my oral health, too. I would definitely recommend White Willow Family & Cosmetic Dentistry!

I love everything about this dentist. Every single person who works there is super polite and helps me make sure I understand everything I have questions on. Dr. Amaro has been so nice to me, considering I'm terrified of dental work. She makes sure I'm completely comfortable and I wouldn't want any other dentist. I highly recommend White Willow. :)

I had to drive for 20 mins as only they gave me the appointment very same day, i was in so much pain so it was an emergency. Dr. Vaddey and Krysta are super. Got 3 wisdom teeth extracted so comfortably and in just an hour 5 minutes. So polite and humble, highly recommended. I also went to them by looking at google reviews and totally worth it.

I hadn't gone to the dentist for over 5 years and was really nervous but everyone was so nice. I actually felt relaxed there. Both the hygienist and dentist are obviously very qualified and know what they're doing. The dental chairs are message chairs and there's a tv you can watch too. It was so much better than i expected. Highly recommend!

I'm very happy with the quality of care I have experienced at White Willow. Visiting the dentist is usually accompanied by a measure of apprehension for me. Not here! The relaxed yet professional atmosphere is infectious and welcoming. The ground floor location and reserved parking make it very accessible and simply adds to the experience.

Dr Amaro and everyone else at White Willow are amazing!!! Let's face it, going to the dentist doesn't go to the top of anyone's top 5 things to do list.
