Vehicle rego and entrance / exit times are being provided to a third parties such as Cellopark whether you use their app or not. This information could be used for a number of different data verification purposes if anyone has recently lost their data in a data breach. I used the app once 4 months ago and had the app uninstalled. Re downloaded the app recently, logged in and just checked my account history and noticed Cellopark have data on all my parking history at this carpark (rego, times in and out) to this carpark marked as $0 transaction as i paid with a ticket. I find it hard to believe that BCC isn't providing Cellopark all rego data of vehicles in and out to achieve this. I genuinely believe this is something BCC should clearly disclose and saying that they are using rego montiroing and disclose information in line with their privacy policy isn't sufficient. If someone isn't using Cellopark to pay for parking they should not be providing this information to Cellopark as there is no need for Cellopark to have this information as Cellopark is not providing a service to a customer who is paying by ticket. I will not park here ever again.
I have always park in there because is the best price and very central to the city. However, last Friday 6th March I parked in the place at 4:20 pm (10 min before the $5 dollar casual rating) and I left the car parking with my partner at around 7:45 pm. So when we were going to pay we got a charge of $30 dollars. I pressed the help button to ask why did we get charge all that and the guy on the other side was completely rude and impolite and he hang up on me almost laughing at me. My partner got super upset and paid the $30 dollars which we shouldn’t have paid because we have a hybrid car and we arrived just 10 min before the casual rate and left after 6:30 pm which we should have the casual rate after that as well. I’m sorry but I can’t believe it the kind of people you have to “help you” and they hang up on you when you ask for it.
Had to park here today because the King George Square carpark was "temporarily full." The sign at the front of KGS carpark told me to park at the nearest $5 carpark which was here. It is a 10 minute walk from Queen Street Mall but if definitely is cheaper than parking under the Meyer Centre. I would use this location again if need be but would always choose the King George location simply for ease of use. The facilities themselves at the car park seem to be up to date and I feel fine leaving my car there for a few hours while shopping.
Early bird rate is affordable and on the low range for others in the area. Accessibility parking available. Easy to navigate and exit options are good regardless which side of the river you live on. Lift access to all floors and lifts are well maintained. Links up with the underpass for central station which allows access to ANZAC square and Post Office square. Would recommend for Early Bird parking choice in the city.
Like King George Square, this is another car park operated by Brisbane City council. This is a multistorey car park with several entrance and exit throughout Turbot at and Wickham terrace. It has the same special weekend rate like King George Square car park. But the entrance and exit points are very narrow. Drivers need to to careful otherwise they will end up get scratched in their vehicles like I did.
Beware being charged twice!! You pay at the machine and when you get to the gate they charge you again!! Unfortunately this used to be a great car park however they have hiked up the prices and often have no attendants working. With businesses in the city struggling to stay open it makes no sense that the council would increase the prices of parking further deterring potential foot traffic.
Their policy towards anyone who ACCIDENTALLY loses or misplaced their ticket is absolutely disgraceful. I got charged $50 just to get out when I was only their for the day on Sunday. Now you would think with CCTV cameras they would have recorded my number plate at the time of entry and how long I was there. I will never be using this carpark ever again. I am far from happy.
$5 after 4.30 on weekdavs. But some of the staff are paticularly rude. Terry brought me to tears yesterday. I've been using this car park for years . The exit Booth wasn't working and I couldn't get out he was less than helpful abrupt rude and mean. An awful experience. The only saving grace was the lovely young lady at the pay window. If it was anywhere else to park I would
Best undercover parking rates in Brisbane city for casual parking. Good sized park - not too squishy to drive around. There is usually a good availability of parks. They also offer early bird parking and weekend parking at very good rates. Once great feature about this car park is if you need to quickly drop off something in town is that you get 15 minutes parking for free.
Large multi level car park. It's a clean car park and is not smelly. I was told entrance is only via Turbot St but there is also an entrance via Wickham terrace. Due to covid pay stations at exit are closed and people need to use the pay stations located on level 2 and 4 near the lifts. Level 5 provides a pedestrian exit (near lifts) directly onto Wickham terrace.
Definitely used this car parking many times with the early bird rate of $18 for the day. It has great access to the city, Multiple places to enter and exit. Just make sure you pay attention to height and fee times then it’s well worthy spot Particularly if your working in the city for the day....
Don’t lose your ticket! kind of goes without saying I know.... But beware the almighty Ticket Master will have no remorse for you if you do (even if you’ve only been parked for 30mins and it’s 10am) Thanks old mate for keeping me humble and make sure you keep those cars safe …
This is one of the cheapest early bird rates that you can find near the CBD. There are 9 levels of parking, but they will fill up by 8;30 typically. The only drawbacks are that the parking spaces are tight and the ceiling is low, so 4x4s with roof racks will have to be careful.
Good value central city carpark. $18.00 early bird is one of the few under $20 parks left. Finding my way out on to the street was a bit of a challenge. But once I learned which levels (2,3,4) allowed me access to the street, all was well.
You are reading these reviews either for fun or to see if you should actually park your car here. Just think of this, would you rather park your car on the street and get it written off by some oblivious 23 year old high school drop out
Conveniently located near the Roma St Parklands and easy access to the city and only $5 to park on the weekends it was a pleasant surprise. Car parks are a decent size and the pay machines were simple and quick to use.
Cheap parking. Actually a great place to disembark before heading into the parklands. Prices are fair and machines don't cause any trouble. Entrances and exits are quick access into the road so no complaints at all.
I inserted my ticket and it read under the 30min mark. Whilst waiting to pay it ticked over and for less than a half an hour park I was forced to fork out $18. No customer service what so ever. Do not recommend.
Little congested parking, but reasonable price to park in Brisbane CBD. 200m away from my office, I park here when I need. Make sure you take advantage of early bird, you enter before 9am and leave before 7pm.
They dobble charged me 15$ I tryed to tell them and show them that I had paid where it said to pay and now to finally find out I've paid 30$ for 10 minutes of parking I hope you go out of business
This is a relatively well located and reasonably priced carpark, particularly for weekend parking. Was disappointed by the sharp price hike increase implemented at start of new financial year.
Convenient location Some signage on rates (especially early bird ) would be appreciated. Height may be a bit concerning for larger vehicles - prado was fine, though must have been close!
A good option for sure. Only issue is not able to pre book meaning you need to get in early - first come, first served. Price is very reasonable and access also pretty good.
Not as expensive as other Brisabane car parks, this one is a council operated car park and the spots are wide enough for a large car but are still relatively narrow.
Parking after 4.30 PM is flat rate 5 dollars for the rest of the day. access to several streets but signs weren't very obvious at the beginning but no big deal.
Today I parked in the above carpark and entered the carpark prior to 9.00am and left prior to 1.00pm and yet paid full price how does the early bird rates work.
Finding a park in this area can be a nightmare! Do yourself a favour and usewhickem terrace parking lot.... U have to pay, but its worth every cent!
I reckoned it was beaut because I had an appointment, right across the road. It is expensive but, if you need it, well you pay the price. M.B.
Its a car park, that's it. As with most parking spots in Brisbane - expensive. But cheapest in the area. Only use when absolutely necessary.
$5 / day weekend parking. If you want to park on streets nearby, check the restrictions - Council inspectors regularly ticket & tow cars.
I've been there after working hours so it has been easy to get a carpark spot. I don't really know how busy is it a pick hours.
One of the cheapest early bird parking options in the city and not that far a walk, but be prepared to walk uphill back
Very convenient to the doctors etc, but the parking spaces are so narrow that I just was able to squeese into my car.
My ticket wouldn’t scan and the ticket guy was super helpful.. I normally get very flustered in these situations.
Early bird parking is a bonus also close by to my workplace and real easy to get back on the highway way as well
Exiting this car park is a nightmare the machines don’t work it takes the person in front 2 minutes to exit..
Decent carpark. Lacks automated ability to advise when full and is quite tight to drive around. Good price.
A bargain only if you get the early bird special - otherwise quite expensive add most of them are …
I'm trying to get the ENTRANCE FOR WICKHAM TERRACE and google maps keeps giving me the wrong ENTRANCE
Very helpful staff and easy 24/7 access. I felt very safe within the car park as it was very well lit
Great value for parking in the city but make sure you know how high your vehicle is before entering.
Parking Rates are reasonable given the location, but turning within the car park is horrid.
Always pretty easy to get a car park for a short visit to the city, but very expensive.
Good reliable parking. Pretty Central to the city with getting stuck in the gridlock.
One of the cheaper places to park, although prices have doubled because of the flu
Council carpark, convenience. Cheaper rates for shorter stays would be nicer..
Use this carpark mainly after hours, convenient and usually plenty of parks.
Great little car park with close accessibility to nearby medical centres.
Conveniently located. Probably the best priced car park for the weekend.
Cheap on weekends, spacious parks, easy access. Never had any problems
Have no idea really as the clearance is too low. Super expensive tho
Lots of space early in the day and at night. Pricing is reasonable.
One of the most affordable parking stops in the CBD on the weekend
Convenient, great location and cheap if you don't park overnight.
Height clearance is bad. Safety is low cleanliness is moderate.
Reasonably priced CBD parking - note 1.93m height limit though
Tunnel to central station is great! Cheapest parking at CBD
$5 packing (weekday evening), great value for city parking.
Best and most cost effective parking with easy walk to mall
Excellent condition and rates are affordable. Recommended.
I live this Carpark. Its very low cost compared to others.
Its shame that they changed weekend parking prices to $15.
Handy but boy oh boy do you pay for the privilege. Ouch!!!
This is the go-to parrk as the rates are reasonable
A little tight in places but very handy to the CBD
One of the cheapest early bird parks in Brisbane!
Great! Reasonable night and weekend prices too
Fairly cheap and general location is no bother
Always a park available and reasonably priced.
Easy access and reasonable prices on weekends.
Cheap parking on weekends and public holidays!
Early bird at $18 is the cheapest in the area
Close for health specialists but expensive af
A bit pricey, but overall a good car park.
Great bargain city parking, I will return.
Love the affordable parking in the weekend
Great early bird special always park here
Expensive and definitely not 4wd friendly
Nice cheap and very considerate personnel
too popular to get a spot after 8:30am~~
As with all car parks, bloody expensive.
City is the city, always get a park here
As all city parking, bloody expensive.
Easy access and cheap weekend parking
Expensive city parking for short term
Great parking cost for after 430pm.
