What a rare gem!!! At first, it seems almost too good to be true. But it’s all true. Trust is key here. You park in any space you want. Full hookups are right there waiting too. A small price of $30 a night is more than generous. On the small building you’ll find a box where you can find the envelopes for you to place the cash or check in and write down your info. Then drop it in Free putt putt golf and other fun things like horseshoes are right there for you too. The buildings are unlocked and even the little putt putt golf building holds clubs balls and score cards. A couple of bathrooms with showers and even laundry facilities are right there waiting for you. Like I said - trust is key with this little gem. Leave it better than you found it. And make this a place many more tired travelers can find some comfort and joy in a tiny town just inside the Oklahoma border ❤️
I usually don't care for self serve RV parks, but this one is the finest self-serve park I have seen yet. Sites are level and gravel/lava rock. A few have sheltered picnic tables. Utilities work fine. There is a really useable WiFi--not blazing fast, but sufficient. It's located next to a wonderful hometown museum and park and is perfectly quiet even though it is located fairly close to the freeway. There is a output mini golf area with the shed open for you to help yourself to the clubs and balls. The biggest surprise: There are two EV charging stations. That's rare for any park and a big blessing for me since my toad is an electric car. All for $30/night.
I called a month before to make reservations. I wasn't given any instructions and no deposits were necessary. When we arrived, there was no one there and no signage as to what we should do. I called the number on the sign and got a recording. So we just set up in an open space. Another rv pulled in while we were setting up became upset and left. I guess they complained. Later someone came by and told us the owner lives out of state and they keep an eye on things and we could just put $25 a night in drop box before we leave. We did. No frills but everything worked. Nice enough for a layover.
This was a stop on our way back to Montana. A storm packing some high winds has kept us here for a couple more days. There is a putt putt golf course, an older shower/bathroom, a museum next door, and the Cimarron Fairgrounds right across the street. The Fairgrounds has an attached playground, basketball court, pool (not open yet), ball fields, barns, and rodeo arena. So, on the negative side, there is a lot of highway noise from trucks turning in from 287, mostly noticeable before dawn. It cost 30. / night.
Fun place for an overnight. The sites are a bit primitive but that’s part of the charm. Boise City is a little town in the middle of the Oklahoma panhandle surrounded by farmland. We had a beautiful stroll around the farm and in the city park at sunset. No hassle… Just leave your money in an envelope and put it in the dropbox. No reservations… Just a friendly phone call and the assurance that you can “come on in.” We were able to get our super C in here towing a car without any problem.
Arrived late after driving all day and found this park. Note there's nothing else for miles. Rundown, barely usable park has muddy and unlevel, rutted dirt/mud sites. 50/30 amp hookups worked ok. Used Dropbox for $25 cash payment. Called owner to get secure wi-fi code. There is a bathhouse, but didn't inspect. There's NO cable, although listed on the website and RV Parky. Okay for a late night arrival, but only if no other options are available.
Only stayed one night playing through. There was a drop box to pay which made it easy. Had two bathrooms and showers. One bathroom has a washer and dryer. Very clean, older bathroom. But we’ll taken care of. The google photos showed a putt putt was there but couldn’t figure out how to get clubs. Horseshoe pit with shoes. Every spot has a picnic table which was great. Nice place for an overnight trip.
My family came in from northern Colorado and needed a place to stay. Both hotels in town had all their rooms that allowed pets booked so this kind woman allowed us to camp for the night. She even came out and met us late at night. We have two kids and it felt safe and quiet. The camp was very clean and well taken care of.It’s a nice place to camp if you are traveling to or from Colorado like us.
4 stars for everything we needed we got out of this place. Pull through and full hook ups. With 4 kids, the mini golf was perfect, the owner was a super friendly lady, and a park across the street got the 5th star. Could it use a little TLC? Yes. But that didn't affect our stay. (It had bathrooms, showers, and laundry, but we didn't use those facilities).
Must say that this is a gem of a rare find. I actually stopped here due to high winds and didn't feel safe pulling the camper any longer. This place was amazing. Self serve. Got in and filled out one of the forms for the drop box payment. It was a really nice area. Loves down the street for fuel. Will be stopping here on my way back through to Colorado.
Very friendly...easy in and out...full hook ups if you need it... Rigs with passenger side slide-outs friendly because some sites do not have a covered picnic table, most sites do have the covering. Grass, gravel, dirt pads are fairly level. Putt-Putt on site and the local cultural museum are nice attractions. An active train nearby, but not very loud.
There is nothing fancy here. This is s simple, inexpensive campground, run by a very nice person. It does have a mini putt golf course and is across the street from the Cimarron Heritage Center. The people of the town seem to be friendly and they have a good place to eat close by, not walking distance but not too far (Blue Bonnet Cafe).
I am originally from Oklahoma but have lived in Colorado the last 6 years my husband and I stopped over night as traveling halfway to Oklahoma and felt so comfortable and loved it so much we ended up staying another day the owner is wonderful and goes out of her way to make her park very nice and comfortable for guests
Great place, great price. The owner was out of town, but gladly let us stay after our motorhome was damaged by storms in the area. It's a nice over night oasis, in the middle of nowhere. If your passin thru, and need a spot to rest for the night, pull in and get hooked up to their full hookups, thanks again!!!!
Cute little place. We stayed Jan. 3rd 2018 overnight. $25/night; Dropbox for payment. We had zero complaints, other than some road noise and the train, but it was easily drowned out by our heater/tv. It was easy to level up our TT and hookup! Would definitely stay here again when coming through.
Quick, easy stop over for a couple of nights with a very friendly small town nearby. Sites had plenty of maneuverability room in and out. It was mostly empty when we were there which made for plenty of space, if it was full the sites still have decent space. Some even have covered picnic tables.
What a great RV Park. Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was working . Clean, rates cant be beat any where, tree to set outdoors with the dogs. Kids have miniature golf , room to play. Will stay again. The owner was there in the morning before we left we got to learn the history of the park.
This park was a gem of a find! The owner was the nicest lady I've ever met, and helped everybody into their sights as they arrived. No Frills, but the Ambiance, the contentment, and the Comfort level made up for any fancy amenities. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you Barbara:-)
We love this place. After driving, driving, driving we pulled in to a very nice quiet and friendly oasis in the desert. No it’s not the Taj Mahal but there is mini golf. Grass and gravel (no dirt blowing). Well maintained. If we are on this road again we WILL be back.
Perfect one night stopover between Texas (DFW) and Colorado (Denver). Full hookups included for $25/night. Able to check-in using drop box (note cash or check only). No shared bathrooms or showers, but that was fine for our single night. Would definitely use again.
Cool little RV park right off the highway and only $30/night where you just put money in the drop box . Awesome mini golf and groundskeeping! Kudos to that person! There's also an awesome museum across the street. Dinosaur and tin Man by the road .. Can't miss it.
We stopped here over night. We have 4 kids and had no problems at all. The owner is the nicest woman. She helped us into our spot at about 9 at night. The rates are very very reasonable. There is a small play park across the street. I would recommend this place.
Good overnight stop at a small park.. A few pull thru sites, but full hookups & 50 amp service at our spot. Easy on/off from US287. Serve yourself Dropbox. Very reasonable $30 Level gravelled spots. Plenty of room for our 34' Motorhome + 12 towable trailer.
Nice little, older, rv park in need of some TLC. Not very "big rig" friendly as it is older, but the sites seem to be level. Park does have trees and a 15 hole miniature good course, which was fun. With a little attention, this could be a cool RV park.
Pulled in for a overnight stop.. Had no problems. Dropped $25 in the drop box. Pulled out the next morning. It was well kept & quiet. #MuchLoveandManyBlessingsYALL #realestatehelpcenters #allin4thewinwinwins #realestatehelpcentermontgomerycountytexas
Great place to pull over and rest for the night. Lots of space, full hook-ups, and you can't beat the price. Definitely not a vacation destination, but if you are driving through and need a place to stay I would highly recommend. We will be back.
It was a good place for an overnight stay. Easy ooff and back onto the highway. It is on the honor system, cash or check left in the envelope and then into lockbox. Sites seem very level. It seemed very safe. I’d stay there again if in the area.
Just a heads up the park is about 2 blocks down on the left from what the gps brings you to (coming in from Amarillo). Nice park for over night staying, just came in found a spot and filled out the envelope provided with $25 in the drop box.
Very nice spot to stop in the rain! Easy hookups and nice level spots. Honest place with a spot to put your payment in envelope with information. We’ll be stopping again on our way back thru from Glacier National Park! …
Wild Billy’s RV Park 1201 Cimarron Ave, Boise City, OK, Off Hwy 287. Possibly the best kept RV park secret in OK! This is a small 10 site park that is based on the honor system. The cost is $40, You pull up, pick your site and put your
Very quiet and safe. I was on my way from Colorado to Texas, and I pulled over here to sleep for the night. Very affordable at only $30/night. I didn’t experience any noise or disturbances, and the site was clean. Highly recommend!
This a great place. Tranquil place. Cheap monthly payments to stay a month. Loved the miniature golf and horseshoes we loved our month stay there I highly recommend Wild Bill's RV Park the owner wonderful lady beautiful spirit.
Love this place. The very non-pretentious owner is extremely helpful and the price was unbelievably reasonable. It's not real fancy, but everything is in great shape. The Honor Box for after hours guests was awesome to see.
Nice way point from Texas to Rockies. Been passing this town for years and finally stopped. Glad we did. $30 night full hookups. Secure. Honor system payment. Grounds maintained well and level sites. Free 9 hole mini golf
Nice place but self serve and bathrooms just ok. But that was a while back. Were going to stop this time but had to keep moving. If you need a place to stop this is way better than a rest area. And it's not expensive
We camped one night with kids ages 5 and 9. This was a great stop on the way to the mountains. Free putt putt golf, decent WiFi, and the city park/city pool is across the street. We will definitely stop here again!!
Our last minute stop at Wild Bills was perfect. Easily accommodated and with great WiFi. This is 3 and a half stars, but for what we needed, and at $25, it’s a 5! Thank you. We will be back along our travels
This is a nice place to stay, The museum is across the way and the personal touch of her coming to the highway to get my wife and I you can't beat it. Pricing is very reasonable. Thanks for letting us. stay.
It is an older park but out here it is an "Oasis"! Especially after traveling on very rough roads with temperatures near 100 all day. It is easy in & out plus you cann't beat the price. Thank you Wild Bill
Easy in and out. I walked the park before to guide him in. Limited big rig sites. Got there 2pm and got a pull thru. We have a 40flb Beacon and was able to unhook truck and leave it in front of 5th wheel.
Lovely gem in Boise, Oklahoma. The owner was really nice and the mini golf course is fantastic. I charged my Tesla model 3 here and they have a Nema 14-50, tt-30, and a Nema 5-15 so you have many options.
Nice and clean place to stay. Easy to find and get into from hwy. owner is very helpful and friendly. Park across the street for everyone that has children and love to walk in. Just very nice small park.
The lady that owns this place is amazing. We were having trouble finding it because of road construction, she came and found us, led us right into the park. Helped us with everything. Pretty decent park.
Drove in picked a spot hooked up in less than 10 minutes. Not a big RV park, price very reasonable. Park across the street is very nice for additional space. Great night for a break on a long drive!
Spinetical!!! When a person has no where to go do laundry or shower; being a local; this is a great place. I had to shower there the other night and forgot to leave a tip. (I will be back!)
Gravel and grass parking, room for our 42 ft and car, it was a pull thru too,15, 50 and 30 amp hookups, water and sewer. A small cute golf play area. Very basic and clean, great price.
Owner was very nice. She said we could pay her then or just put in drop box. We didnt get in until about 9:30 at night. But she was there to point us in the right direction. Nice area.
Great value, bathrooms were clean, water was hot and shower pressure was good. Quiet even though close to the street. We were passing thru and were very pleased with our night there.
Just for 1 night was ok. Could be really cute with a lil work. the bones are there. The bathroom and showers were disgusting. The lady that works there was very sweet and polite.
Nice little stopping point and pretty much the only option if traveling through the area. Nothing fancy, but full hookups and level sites makes for quick work coming and going.
Park is ok but I'll be damned if there isn't a single place in that town which isn't goosebumps-worthy type creepy. Go to clayton instead. I mean, we bombed this city once.
Great place. Everything was clean . had shelters over picnic table and they had horseshoe area beside the great mini golf. 25 dollars is a steal. Full hookup. Thank you.
Stopped for 1 night. Ended up with a nice spot with shade. Used the laundry $1.00 a washer load, $1.00 for dryer. $25 night with full hookups. Definitely worth the stop.
This is a welcome place to rest your tires. It's a bit confusing because there's no manager. Find a place, put your money in the box. Much like some state or town parks.
I have to say 5 stars because they have everything a true RV'r needs. No staff present but if you need anything. Call and she's on it. Thanks for the quiet 4 days.
Good place for an overnight stop. The one toilet/shower room was rustic but functional. The Cimarron Heritage Center is right across the street and worth a visit.
Nothing fancy,, but a good, clean place to stop when passing thru the area. Hot shower, mini golf, picnic table by the campsite, hookups. Paid $25 for a night
What a wonderful little campground! Clean, and well maintained. Free mini golf for the family - and directly across the street from a park and public pool.
My family plays miniature golf here often. It's a nice place to go. The owner is very accommodating. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Boise City.
This is a great little park, run by a great lady. Very clean and convenient to shopping and business center. Great access to highway. Easy in and out.
Cute RV park. Easy hookups. Honor system for payment. Additional perk is a mini golf course. My hubby and I played 2 games. Very enjoyable stay.
This place is a very good stopover on the way to somewhere else. Not anything to do in the park, and the town is not such a good thing.
Stop in here for the night on the way to Colorado wonderful rv stop would definitely stay here again had great neighbors …
It's a place to stop over for the night and head out first thing in the morning. Good connection for water, power and sewage.
Small and rundown. Confusing on how to stay and pay. Also, lots of permanent dwellers living there, and I did not feel safe.
Perfect spot for over night maybe two but nothing else in town to speak of. NOTHING!! A truck stop and Dollar general
Quiet park, good price. Packed in pretty tight but lots of open grass for the dogs. Will definitely stay here again.
Niche little place, lol honor system with 25a night stay. Perfect while traveling and need a quick overnight stop
Barbara is the sweetest! Quiet RV park with everything you need. Also, there's a park and swimming pool near by.
I like it but maybe their could be more space for those who are staying here for a while but other that not bad
Missed out on the put put as they were redoing the greens. Self service payments were helpful and convenient.
Nice little place. We'd stay again when passing this week way. Seems to be some fun things for kiddies to do.
We spent a single night, clean and quiet place with cicadas, tin men and iron dinosaurs surrounding ✨ …
Very nice quiet spot. We stayed one night, but definitely would consider staying longer for some down time .
Do the maintenance around there and it is nice if you want to be close to society but have your distance.
Spinetical amenities and a put-put golf course. A wonderful place to park the RV and stay for a while.
Stayed for 1 night, first come first serve. It was easy in and out, clean. Pick your site, pay cash.
Nice place to wind down when traveleing putt putt was fun and clean restrooms and hott shower!
Wonderful and quiet place for an overnight stop. Look forward to staying again in the future!
Not much around and I didn't have my clubs with for the mini put good prices for full hookup
Great, quiet privately owned park. Enjoyed the putt putt and can’t beat the rate. Thanks
Easy in and out. Nothing special, nothing to complain about. A good night's stop over
It's a nice quiet place. Decent showers and had a laundry room. Owner is very sweet
This was great lil place to stay . Traveling from Colorado back home to Louisiana.
Full hookups for 30 bucks. Safe area. We will be using again when we pass through
It has friendly owners and mini golf to entertain kids and museum next door
Very nice owner & convenient stopping location on the way to Angel Fire.
Poorly laid out. No onsite personnel. Cash or check payment by dropbox
Great RV park with putt putt and a nice playground across the street.
Good little campground. Some spots are hard to get in. Great value.
Ok for a pit stop easy pick a spot put money in a drop box and go
Good place to crash, cheap, and easy in and out. $25. No frills.
Small place. One of two in town. Nice lady running it. Clean.
Nice clean cute little rv park. It had everything we needed
Easy setup even at night. Owner came out and welcomed me.
Small but convenient. Lots are pretty tight but doable.
Loved our one night stay here, price is very reasonable
Nice quiet little park full hookups, reasonably priced
