I haven't been to Wildsprout for a while now (to sit down/eat/takeaway) and I now know why. Something never quite sat well with me, but I was in the area and thought to pop in. It was evident now when I went back what it is- I just observed, whilst my smoothie was being resentfully made, and truthfully the atmosphere here is off, the staff seem miserable! Needless to say the high staff turn over which makes the consistency of this place questionable. No one greets when you walk in. I stood at the counter for a while, was ignored, and eventually had to say hi, could I order etc. The smoothie (which was awful) gloopy and just badly, carelessly made cost me R98 (I did add extra protein - but still!!) and normally I would add a generous tip, which I did not this time round, but honestly if I did we are looking at R120 for a small smoothie! I worked in the restaurant industry for a good while, I am not one of those painful complaining customers who have never worked as a waiter before (we all know those types) so it kinda pains me to have to write this review, but come on guys, its drab.

Great spot, the food was fantastic, the menu is really exciting and I look forward to going back. Unfortunately the service was a bit of a let down hopefully it was just an off day because of some electricity issues but we were really happy with the food.

Lovely cosy place, lovely food. I'm always delighted and satisfied every time I come here. The staff are warm and welcoming as well, and even picked up something I dropped and returned it to me. Cliché, I know, but always a good sign.

Every item on the menu is coded with df for dairy free, gf for gluten free, sf for refined sugar free, and v for vegan.

We get groceries delivered here at least once a week and depending on who's fulfilling the order it's a hit or miss. Sometimes delivery is on time, other times it's an hour late which is odd since they use Uber courier. Food is also a hit or miss - we quickly discovered our favs and stuck with those. The chicken soup is some of the best we ever had. So far they've replaced any items we've had issues with which shows they have integrity as a business.

Wildsprout is arguably the best breakfast spot in Cape Town! There are a variety of healthy, DELICIOUS, and quality dishes on the menu (and all reasonably priced too). The service staff are friendly and efficient. There’s outside and inside seating, with a lovely fresh-food shop situated at the back. I would 100% recommend this spot to anyone in town. I can’t wait to return!

Hands down one of my favourite spots in Cape Town. The food and service is amazing and their croissants are insanely good. A huge plus is they have an array of gluten free options and vegan options too. Such wholesome food that leaves you feeling nourished and coming back for more. Always a 10/10 for me!

What a great place! They have a great selection of food, smoothies and drinks to choose from. They cater for all dietary requirements too. They also sell their own homemade nut butters, which are so much cheaper than those you buy in regular health stores. They also have a section where you can dish up your own plate of food for the day.

Such a great eatery if you have to cater for different dietary restrictions. Our vegan friends loved the menu and the food was delicious. Portion sizes could be bigger for the price but overall a lovely experience. The desserts are too die for!

Best spot in Kenilworth. If you haven't been yet I highly recommend that you do. They're cafe and a grocer so you can get a delcious coffee and breakkie before you do your organic shop. Plus everything is delcious and healthy. A happy environment that always leaves me with a full tummy and big smile on my face :D

Absolutely wonderful place for a healthy breakfast. They have amazing vegan options and even though it was quite busy during our visit the staff was super friendly, fast and had a great knowlodge about vegan food. Definitely our new favourite breakfast spot.

Wow, what a special place. The store and restaurant combination made us not want to leave. Really friendly staff, excellent coffee, wonderful food. And for those of us who care about all the ingredients, complete transparency. Saving this to the loved places list and will be back often!
