Where do I start about my AMAZING experience here at Williams Barristers and Solicitors! I won't go into too much detail because I could go on and on, but let me tell you. Andrew, Mark & the team are some of the finest lawyers I've come across. I was charged with a series of incorrect and false charges, that not only would've ruined my future plans of travel. They don't teach you in school the impact a criminal record can have on your life, for the rest of your life. Even for something petty or small. One scary thing is that you will never be allowed to travel to America or Canada with a criminal record. Even a small crime. So I was committed to getting charges dropped and having a clean record. Anyways, I hired my first lawyer, a family friend, he was experienced but too busy and couldn't really give my case the attention it needed, so I fired him and was on the lookout for another lawyer who could actually HELP me. I went through 10+ different lawyer meetings and none of them resonated with me or even LISTENED to me, except Andrew! - I was at my wits end until I met Andrew. He listened, he understood the story and realised the truth. And from that moment, the case started. Fast forward 6 months, I left court today with no convictions recorded / charges dropped. A great victory for justice! Meaning, I have a clean sheet. This would not have been possible without Andrew Williams and his exceptional acumen in the area of law + his team's support. My review of 5 stars is simply not high enough. I have needed to use Andrew a few times over the years and each time he has provided me with the most outstanding professional advice and his communication with me and his response time is second to none for a man as busy as he is. His friendly, polite and honest personality is shared by the court too and it always gave me great confidence that the magistrates and judges he is talking to take his word. Not only have I had Andrew but Mark has appeared at district court for me as well as write my will, power of attorney and advance care directive. Laura has appeared in court for me and also met me at a police station to secure release on bail after being arrested. Further to the highest professional service they offer my review also goes further and is about the way they all treat you personally. This extends to Marie also who works there and it’s simple things that 95% of big or small businesses lack is a smile and caring about how you are going outside of court. Having any legal matter to deal with can be a daunting thought often mixed with anxiety and stress, however from the very onset Mark Williams put me totaly at ease, and feeling more confident of a positive outcome. At our first meeting Mr Williams mapped out for me the process both best and worst scenario. He explained how he would be defending my matter and also the time frame he expected it to be resolved in. I did not need to make any appearances in court and Mr Williams was very prompt in relaying the outcome of each attendance. In hindsight overviewing the whole process I have to say that I am so impressed with Mr Williams and would highly reccomend him.

Laura Elkins showed that she has a vast knowledge of her profession which covers many facets of the legal system. My situation was a traffic offence. The penalty for the offence in question was a term of 6 months prison. After interviewing me & understanding the circumstances surrounding the charges, not only was the stress of the situation reduced, so was the penalty imposed. No prison time, no loss of licence.
