After calling almost every immigration attorney in the Minneapolis, Saint Paul area, I fortunately found the Wilson Law Group. I have worked directly with David the managing attorney here. Before doing business, I was able to see on multiple websites a wide variety of satisfied clients with 5 star ratings, and that he belongs to the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). When you truly think that businesses these days are going down the drain service wise, think again. David personally and very quickly responded to all of my emails and Skype questions. He was able to not only able to provide me crucial information on my wife's immigration case, but on my life background as well. This entire process with the USCIS and State Department has been an absolute nightmare, and I haven't slept right for 6 months. Last night, I truly slept better. David provided a complete plan of action, the exact documents he needed, and cost and time frame we would be working under. Not one other attorney was willing to provide such information or be so accurate. I will also note that I had explained the urgency of my case, as my wife is pregnant. Most attorneys won't work on Saturdays. David has truly went the extra mile for wife and I. I will post an update once my case is approved. We are in the final stages, and I feel so much better now that Wilson Law Group is involved. Lastly, if you are seeing negative comments, you cannot believe those. Do some extra research on the web and you will see how many excellent reviews this firm has. I definitely recommend them to anyone that needs legal services!

Was referred to a lawyer at this law firm specifically Suzanne Coberstein. I have to say that she sold me a very convincing solution to my case for $3500! I have seen people with difficult cases get more results. I had another lawyer who basically just had me waiting, so I decided to try a different lawyer. She won't sell you a "it's not a guarantee" but she sure makes it sound like she is connected and that you defiantly have a chance. We gathered everything! All they did was write an affidavit and had me sign a couple of forms, they asked the court if the were willing to open my old deportation case, which was close to impossible, I didn't even have to go anywhere, but like I said they sell it good. $3500! Just for that! And then her response is well, the only thing you can do is wait! She knew this, ahead of time, she knew the likelihood that after 20+ yrs they would not reopen the case, but she was willing to take the money. I could've done that myself and saved money, just ask immigration a question and write them a letter asking for sympathy. All I have to say for those of you out there, unless you have an easy straight forward case and are willing to pay a pretty expensive fee, don't use this law firm. There are good lawyers who yes are expensive and there are the ones that are just there for the money and sell you false hope. Oh and by the way, what other reviewers said is true, she gets upset and starts raising her voice at you, of course she already took your money she doesn't care.

I am extremely upset and disappointed at how unprofessional this law group is. My husband and I met with Brittany Bakken in April and she gave us a list of documents we would need for our immigration case. We tried to call her to ask questions about some of the documents and received no answer. We tried calling her multiple times a day for three weeks and she never answered her phone or called us back. The receptionist a couple times even said she was there and she still wouldn’t answer her phone or return our calls. The receptionist said that she sent emails asking Brittany to call us back and we still received no call. We sent an email to Brittany with no response. Our case is time sensitive and she messed us about and wasted our time. When I called the law office again and requested a different lawyer I was told I was going to have to pay over $200 to get a consultation with another lawyer, which is ridiculous since Brittany seemed to refuse to call/talk to us. Thank god we never gave them any money! After four weeks of zero response from Brittany and zero help from the law firm, we gave up. We have now found a different lawyer and he actually answers his phone and emails! Don’t use this law firm, they are extremely unprofessional!

I wish I could've given them zero stars, but unfortunately it is not an option. On the 30th of June 2019, my girlfriend and I scheduled an appointment to meet with Grace Fiddler for the 15th of June (today). Just to make sure we got there on time, we got off work early and headed to W.L.G, which is a 30 minute drive from where we live. Once we got to W.L.G, one of the ladies at the front desk asked us if she could help us and when my girlfriend told her that we have an appointment, her reply was that we might have came in on a wrong day and that there were no lawyers at work today. Then another lady wrote my girlfriends name down to see if we had made an appointment, and she checked and told her that her name wasn't on their calendar. Then she asked us when we made the appointment and I told her that we made in online like 2 weeks ago. She then told us that there might have been something wrong with their system. We just wasted our time and money, just because there MIGHT have been something wrong with there system. We even got a reminder email from their faulty system yesterday. I will never go back to W.L.G. again and will not recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed.

I called David Wilson personally because I have known David in the past on a social basis. I knew that David’s Law Firm focused on immigration law and my needs were for a divorce attorney. I asked David as a friend to refer me to one of his Law school mates. Next thing I know I am receiving a call from Eva Rodelius from David’s firm. I see now that David was more focused on funneling money into his own firm instead of providing me with the service of a competent divorce attorney. Eva Rodelius is an Associate Attorney and her lack of experience shined through. Eva was frequently out maneuvered and out classed by my ex-wife’s attorney, she basically got schooled and I had the pleasure in wasting $10,000. I have since highered a very competent law firm through my Employee Assistant Program at work. I have payed another $5,000 to fix the situation where Eva was out classed and out maneuvered in my Divorce Decree. David Wilson is just your typical lawyer focused solely on money and not focusing on provide people with the best representation. I would not use David Wilson’s Law Firm for a divorce proceeding even if he would provide services for free.

As you are now, I was also looking for a lawyer to represent me on an immigration case. So, I Goggled a lawyer in the Twin Cities and came across this law firm. They advertised a free consultation so, I called them and they booked me with one of their lawyers named Rebecca Desnoyers. Both of my two appointments with her, she kept me waiting for at least 20 minutes. When it came to answering my questions, she was vague. On my second appointment with her, she copied all my documents, listened to my questions and concerns impatiently, charged me three hundred dollars or so, and promised to contact me within a week after consulting with colleagues and doing more research on my case. After more than a month, I called her and left messages twice in two days, but she never called me back. Basically, I spend three hundred dollars of my hard earned money and 4 weeks of my life for nothing. Now, I will continue my search to find a better lawyer and I'll advice you to do the same. I also advice you to avoid this law firm and especially Rebecca Desnoyers at all cost.

The advice of one of your lawyers to lock a spouse out of their house during divorce proceedings is against the law!!!! Also a basic understanding that there cannot be stealing property of ones own property??? Also no communication whatsoever about what decisions they made. That lawyer was beyond ridiculous. I dont recommend it because instead of meeting a middle ground they proceed to elevate the divorce. They never committed to deadlines and she was always out of the office on vacation. I am disappointed that the proffessionality of your attorney was not there, and having to had work with them to get a resolution didnt seem to be a concern for you all. Please read correctly- the lack of proffessionlity and ethics of your lawyer is what i have a problem with. Not my attorney. Seems from the previous reviews Im not the only one thats come to the same conclusion. Take some accountability.

I paid them money to file paperwork for my mother. It was very expensive, the least they could have done was spelled my mother's name correctly on the forms that were sent to immigration. I pointed out to them. They apologized but NEVER fixed it. I DID NOT RECEIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Their customer service did not show that they care about the clients. I tried contacting the firm many time with emails and phone calls to notify them that they got my mother's name incorrectly spelled. They never got back to me and did not fix the issue. After several months of waiting (ALMOST A YEAR) I called immigration and they told me that no one has attempted to fix the name. They still had my mother's name incorrectly. I had to fix this issue with immigration myself. So, to summary, I paid the firm a lot of money for them to not file the paperwork correctly. I had to fix their mistake myself!!

I have a aggressive landlord who is breaking our lease and I’m not comfortable leaving my fiancé and roommate at home while I leave for work because he shows up whenever and when I had a 30 minute FREE consultation with matthew lawlyes I didn’t get a single question answered. The response I got to every single question I asked was “I can’t officially say anything because I’m not your attorney, but if you want to hire us I’d be more than glad to help” I was really hoping to get answers and get help but all he cared about was getting money out of me. He doesn’t care about your issues or wanting to help resolve them unless your willing to pay him first. I would have gladly hired him to be my attorney if he actually cared about something other than my money. IM A HUMAN NOT A PAYCHECK!!!!!!

If I could give them -10 stars I totally would! Stole my money! My husband got detained by ice and they wouldn’t help me with the bond hearing they only wanted to do the easy part of the case all they kept saying was we can’t take the case, every time I called or emailed with questions I never got a reply back, I had already signed the contract for the agreement but decided to fire them since I wasn’t getting any updates, once I emailed them saying I was terminating my contract that’s when I heard back from the lawyers!! This is unprofessional and poor lack of communication!!

WLG has indeed changed my life in a positive way. They have fought both my my wife's immigration case and mine. Am now a USA citizen because of this law firm. Even when I had given up they gave me hope and fought to the end am now a USA citizen going for oath ceremony. We have a great lawyer Brooke Mengel. Yet the ladies who are picking up the calls and the receptions are so rude, unprofessional, they talk down to clients when the clients have questions eaither on their case or payment on their accounts, they are there for the clients not the other way around. Be mindful of the people you see. Being kind and smiling at people when they walk in to your offices makes a big difference. Especially when they are already scared, nervous and or anxious. Hope you keep that in mind and take this in consideration.

We had an exceptional experience with this law firm- they assisted us in obtaining my husband's papers 7 years ago. We are currently using them again to get his citizenship and to get a visitor's visa for his mother to visit for the summer. We never considered using a different law office after going through the process with WLG the first time. We have recommended WLG to many friends and they have been very satisfied as well. I was impressed with how knowledgeable and experienced their legal team is on many different types of situations.

I had Anna Scholl do me an agreement letter for a family case. She was going to charge me $400 total but said to give her half until the letter was done. Weeks passed and never got a call or an answer from her. I even called the office and they would just send me to her voicemail. 6 months passed and I get a call from their office just to say that she does not work for them anymore. They’re a wast of time and money. The least they could have done was return my money since they really never did any work

Kelsey Allen was professional,prompt and very helpful and demonstrated great communication skills with my husband's residency progress. Absolutely the best firm!! Professional, efficient, affordable, trustworthy, and everything you need from a compassionate Immigration Law Firm. My last successful case with Wilson Law was my mom's very difficult citizenship.

WLG helped make my K1 visa process super smooth with my fiance and followed their word! Everything got processed about 2 months ahead of the average K1 approval time. They also allowed monthly payments which was really convenient. PS. I have a feeling that all the up-votes on the negative reviews are from competing lawfirms who aren't nearly as good as WLG. I am currently calling to schedule a contract (already had consultation). I gave them the information. They told me they'll put me on hold while they "look us up" its been 30 minutes so far. I understand people get busy but this isn't the first time the receptionist are unprofessional. Since I can't seem to get an appointment guess I will call elsewhere.
