Absolutely appalling stay clear from this company! I paid £500 for a starter motor to be replaced. since then 4 starter motors have blown in the last 4 months I have lost so much work losses due to this and spent a lot more having to keep getting my van recovered back to them to put it right… I had no choice but to take my van to another garage to then find out they have put a second hand starter motor on my van after promising that it would be a top end one that they would fit and cover cost and yet again it broke due to putting the cheapest of cheap second hand stuff in to my van that was missing pins to connect causing it to blow yet again!! Another bill I had to pay for at a new garage and van is back running fine no problems at all

I had an exhaust related problem with my Jag and the nearest dealer if over in Surbiton and incredibly expensive as all dealers are. So I pooped along to my local garage and spoke to a really great guy Shaun who fortunately had previously worked at Jaguar. He made some suggestions based on his past knowledge and said if it didn't work then realistically I would probably incur a significant bill. I asked him to try what he suggested and included an MOT. His suggestion not only worked to clear the issue but my engine has never run better and the total cost was probably 15% of what it could have been. So a great experience and I will use my local garage and Shaun whenever I can and recommend anyone to do the same. Clive Osgood

EDIT: After being told by this place that the clutch was fine, the same issue happened and we broke down again within 2 days. A different garage identified the issue and fixed it (we even told Wimbledon Car Care what the problem was as the RAC guy had said the same thing and they said that it was fine. ). AVOID Original review: Got dropped here by RAC when I broke down, they gave my car the once over and actually said it didn't need anything done, was just a combination of bad luck that resulted in the assistance being required! They could have easily told me lots needed fixing and charged me a fortune! Really friendly and honest guys, will definitely be my local garage moving forward. Can't recommend enough

I have booked the MOT 2 weeks in advance, so expected to be seen on arrival, but they were running late 45 min. The Man who preformed the MOT had surgeon gloves on his hands was checking the car inn and out, touching all the greasy black stuff there, I was amazed when he get in and drove my car out leaving all my beige leather with black greasy paches, the steering wheel, the door, the key area, what a filthy dirty . . . . The gentleman in reception wanted to clean it but took it to car wash to deal with it. Shame

Fantastic trustworthy independent garage! That's how I would describe my experience here. My girlfriends Audi was bumped in to and cracked the front grill, it was no bother and Shaun sourced the part and had it fitted before lunch the very next day!!! Professional service, professional job and would highly recommend! Update: Jan 2020. Shaun was able to have us booked in for an MOT the very next day! Dropped it off and it was completed by lunch time. Cannot recommend this garage enough!

Fantastic friendly service - just as all service should be! Car broke down yesterday (water pump) and I arranged to tow the car into the Wimbledon Car Car garage. Staff were very helpful and immediately had car up on the ramp to check it out and before the end of the day I received a call telling me what the problem was and giving me a very reasonable quote to repair the car. Less than 24 hours later I got another call to collect the car. Excellent all round service!

Had a great experience. Was greeted by Shaun at the reception who was extremely friendly and professional. The vehicle needed discs and pads all round as the warning light was on. The car was booked in and seen on time for the appointment. The technician, Paul was brilliant and was back on the road in no time. Would highly recommend Wimbledon Car Care as a great local garage for customer service, professionalism and price.

Shaun was brilliant, he diagnosed the problem with my car instantly, ordered the parts and had it fixed the same day. Not only did he explain exactly what went wrong, he showed me under the bonnet, he broke down the exact costing, and he ordered the top-of-the-range parts to replace the broken parts. MOT was very good price too and he made sure my car passed, couldn't recommend this place more.

I called them for some desperate road side assistance (or for anyone they could recommend to help us in the local area) as our steering wheel was jammed and ignition not coming on. They quickly sent someone just to help us out and fixed the problem. It just goes on to show how nice and kind they were with their help even though it's not a service they typically provide. Super grateful!

Excellent I am impressed with the work they did for my car .I had gearbox bochanged and absolutely perfect. I also use them for servicing my car and MOT fantastic. Easily the best customer service I have ever had from a car garage. Shaun really took the time to explain what was wrong with the car, and in a way I could actually understand. When I decided not to go ahead with the repair, not only did he not charge for the diagnostics but even filled one of my tyres with air after he noticed it was low. I am so so impressed. I've always found finding a genuinely decent garage really hard, but these guys are honestly brilliant. I called up with a ripped off wing mirror, and they were able to fix it on the day of me bringing it in, to a really high standard, and they knew exactly what they were doing. Very reasonable too. I really can't fault them, and will absolutely use them again if I ever need.

Can't fault this business at all! Called them up super helpful on the phone. Got my car to the garage and were totally transparent with the costs and that it may be a few days. Called me said it was coolant and parts needed to arrive so maybe a few days. 24 hours later car done! If you want an honest and reliable car mechanic Rob and the team are you men! Totally recommend!

Absolutely fantastic service from the boys. Gave a call one day before to have my brakes changed and they booked me straight in. Wait was not long at all and a super professional job carried out. I had a problem with my car that was causing me quite a lot of stress. The guys at Wimbledon Car care were extremely willing to help in any way possible and met me with compassion and consideration. I dropped into the garage a few weeks ago, because a pipe coming from my window cleaning tank has split and the liquid wasn't coming out any more. Although they didn't have the right part when I dropped in without an appointment, they got someone to bring me the part and had it fixed quickly. I appreciated the service. They were very pleasant and friendly too.

Excellent service received a few weeks ago at Wimbledon car centre. After my car seemed to explode with smoke the AA took me straight here, it was fixed within 2 hours!!! Affordable service and knowledge given afterwards to help avoid the issue happening again. I'm so impressed and will 100% be using again and recommending to everyone in the area.

I have been going here for decades and it is far by the best garage to fix all problems at a good price. Team there are very welcoming, polite and helpful. I like to give second opportunities in life, so I decided to go again to Wimbledon Car Care to pass the MOT. Although we did not finish very well last time, Shaun was very polite and we agreed to keep the past behind. They were very diligent with the MOT check this time. I took my car here for an M.O.T a few days ago and it failed due to wheel bearing had excessive play, they were very helpful with getting my car repaired and threw its M.O.T I would recommend this garage, I am very pleased with the work carried out and the great customer service.

I have a BMW X6 for 4 tyres An alright service but the big gentleman was shouting at his employees which shouldn't be happening, he should be making it easier for them, and reduce their burden on them. SMH!
