"Wonderland is an appropriate name for this place as it offers an exceptional experience for the kids! It’s extremely reasonably priced and we spent all of £20 for an entire DAY here! We must have played on at least 70 games and won a brilliant springer prize which my son was very happy with"
"Amazing place to have family day especially when you have kids that are very competitive , reason why I’m rating 3stars it’s because yesterday afternoon round past12 I experienced bad customer service by the lady behind the counter, I came to exchange my kids receipts for goodies she took my receipts and as soon as she saw customers on the other end wanting to purchase coins she left without further assisting me"

"A good place to get away from the busy shopping center and right next to the busy food court"

Wonderland is an appropriate name for this place as it offers an exceptional experience for the kids! It’s extremely reasonably priced and we spent all of £20 for an entire DAY here! We must have played on at least 70 games and won a brilliant springer prize which my son was very happy with. Contrary to other people’s sentiments I found the staff to be very helpful. After I forgot my sunglasses Asana arranged for a driver to collect them and deliver them back to me in Franschhoek! If you have kids you could spend a lot of time here. We definitely will be visiting again!
Amazing place to have family day especially when you have kids that are very competitive , reason why I’m rating 3stars it’s because yesterday afternoon round past12 I experienced bad customer service by the lady behind the counter, I came to exchange my kids receipts for goodies she took my receipts and as soon as she saw customers on the other end wanting to purchase coins she left without further assisting me. Moto of the story I’m a customer as well all customers should be treated fairly‼️.
The stuff at this place are lazy and unbearable. Was there Sunday evening 2 hours before their closing time and they were shutting down the machines in an attempt to drive out the people. They also refused to take our tickets for rewards claiming they were closed and can not help us anymore. Have not been to this one in years and it makes you not want to go back. They honestly need better staff. Not a single person there was helpful or friendly.
A good place to get away from the busy shopping center and right next to the busy food court. Games feels like it's too close to each other and there's like no space for people to pass by without knocking you as you playing your game. The games is also limted and not such a big variet as the other Wonderland. If you are in the mall you might want to make a turn if you have kids. There is old games which makes it family fun.
Was a bit of a mixed experience. Had some newer games but had 4 instances of coins being taken and game just not working or not giving balls etc. The 4D ride was the biggest waste of R80 as the image quality is so bad that you can't even see what is on the screen properly. Don't think it has been maintained properly as something is not right with it. Isn't not like this on other 4d rides around the country
Worst experience of my life Their Saturday night manager should be fired They advertise closing time at 22h45 At 22h00 thru turn off most games and mine was turned off as I put in 4 tokens, wasn't interested in refunding me.. Then I took my tickets to be exchanged for a gits for my kids at 22h10 and he says, exact quote 'we're closed, go home' This manager has no future that's for sure
Large with alot of choices in games. They also seem to be bringing in new arcade machines. Layout is pretty good, keeping certain ages in certain areas just by group types of games together. Some of the machines require repair and there isn't really a notice so you only find out after it's taken your coin. Staff is helpful and I like that it is close to the food court and cinema.
In comparison to N1 City Branch. This Wonderland has so much more to offer, we had an absolutely amazing time! The only reason I gave it 4 starts is due to the claw machines which need maintenance, the claws don't work 100 percent and some don't drop. Wasted a lot of coins on those machines. We will definitely be back again soon, just next time we won't try the claw machines.
Majority of the games are rigged. The jaw for the teddy bear machines don't close. You report it to staff and they can't do anything. The location is great. But the staff is very sneaky. They always tried to sell us coins on the side. Very dodgy environment. Alot of fights due to high amount of teens. Not a great place for little ones.
Actually wasn't that nice, place was dirty and smelly. One of the games in the corner literally smelled like a public toilet. The staff wasn't helpful or friendly. The games were ridiculously expensive and yet there was only a few games available. Wouldn't go there again.
Canal Walk Wonderland has recently had some new gaming equipment added. We always enjoy the variety of games available and the Dance revolution is a MUST. Something for the toddlers, tweens, teens and adolescents. End off your shopping with some FUN time
The only reason I've taken away a star is because of that incessant playong of that 30sec 'little mermaid' tune that loops and loops and loops and loops literally from dawn till dusk. The machine is right at the entrance of the arcade and
Wonderland was a great experience for me and a friend of mine. Just two bros chilling, playing pool, shooting hoops and enjoying the music in the the background. The nostalgia hits you when you see certain games and the cost of tokens is
Always great fun, whether you bring the family or come with friends. There is something for everyone to do. Play games, shoot hoops, play pool and go on virtual rides. You have the option of purchasing your pictures after the ride and
Great venue to have fun with the kids:)).. I do suggest that Wonderland relocate to a more spacious area inside the Mall as it can be packed with family's & friends and will be awesome for the business to add more fun games...
I wish they kept the bowling lane but I understand why it's gone. While fun it's lacking in atmosphere. Like there is no stand out games you come for and there is no prize really worth effort on the more prize worthy games
There's a wide variety of games to entertain kids and Covid protocols were being followed. There's security guards to check if everyone is wearing their masks and sanitisers are allocated almost everywhere in the store.
Very fun. It has a wide variety of games including two DDR cabinets which are nice. The DDR cabinet on the right is a bit broken but the other works fine. It is expensive and a rip off but that is what all arcades are.
Maybe different games or maybe a new look it's been same look for years.... and the ladies toilets next to the arcade.... should be regularly checked there were no toilet rolls..... felt like I went to the beach toilet
Kids love it. Machines are grouped nicely. I think it is a bit cramped though, they need more space. During the school holidays there is almost no space to walk making it a bit more challenging for the smaller kids.
They have a nice range of games. The ticket reward games do not have great rewards. It's actually really poor prizes.even the prizes requiring alt of tickets are poor at best.
Just no, prizes are outdated and way too many tickets. So loud in there I almost didn't go inside! Tokens are R2 each (used to be 1) never returning!
Good place for safe family fun, they open during covid 19 level 1 but their times has changed a little and now close at 10pm daily due to the curfew
small arcade near the food court hzs pool tables as well. Gets extremely full and prizes are on the cheap side but good fun for kids otherwise.
A lot of fun. Some things broken. Some things don’t give tickets and you can’t see the prizes which is hard for kids but it’s fun for an hour.
I would love to go here again soany people i love it!!!!❤️❤️❤️ I just get so excited oh sh*t yummy fresh meat grrrrr …
Always a great place for my daughter, The best thing is, the guy that works here has been there since the start and he still knows me
Always too full, there shud be a limit on how many people can be in there at the same time. Makes it very unpleasant …
3.4 it's just about gambling or having fun at the stations where you can race of more . Dont spend alot of money there
Awesome place to entertain the kids, only downside, is the air cons make it very cold inside the premises
Awesome fun! Would have been perfect if they had Soul Calibre! Minus 10 points right there …
The kids loved the place. Great gaming machines for them and nice pool boards for the adults
The best! So many games of all types. These guys have nailed it, we go all the time.
Had so much fun they have some new games but overall the experience was wonderful.
Great stress reliever for adults while the kids can have fun as well
Great to visit before closing. Less crowded
Great place for the kids
It's the best
