I love this place. You can get a GIANT CAN OF HERRING!! Enough to feed a squad, it not a platoon. German hot dogs in a tall jar? Yessir! Plus every kind of salted liquorice, yes I'll use the British spelling, marshmallow fluff (best mouse bait there is) all kinds of imported goods. I get my Ty-Phoo tea here and it's not easy to turn a Yank into a tea drinker but that stuff did it. I will caution: The Asian goods are overpriced. You can do far better in an Asian market. But to just try a thing, it doesn't matter if you overpay to see if you like a thing. Oh, and they have tons of Haribo! I recommend the liquorice wheels, but you can go nuts on their Haribo rack, yes they have a Haribo rack .... and tasters of liquors, tons of 'em, if you like that sort of thing. They're also pretty well stocked on coffee, and have those little Italian coffee makers ... Moka Pot? Bialetti? Yeah I think that's it and at pre-covid prices. All in all well worth a visit. I remember going to Cost Plus World Market as a little kid and while you're no longer regaled with the scent of teak and sandalwood when you walk in, it's still a really great store.

TL;DR workers are great, manager is not. Call to make sure item is in stock before you order online. Breakdown: 4 stars for World Market, love them, even though they messed up an online order for me today. They filled an order incorrectly, and now I have to try to buy it elsewhere, because it’s pretty much all sold out, and before Christmas... 1 star for the manager Arlene, who had an attitude that was just frustrating to be around. I especially felt bothered by how she spoke to other employees. Also didn’t handle my situation very well at all, or just didn’t bother. 5 stars for Natalie. She was super helpful and understanding. Was solution and action oriented and empathetic at the same time! What a valuable mix of traits! Shoutout to Natalie! Thanks!!

For a long time World Market has been a shadow of what it once was. Some years ago I caught them falsely advertising something they do not carry. Their response was less than satisfactory and I stopped going there. Last Christmas I received a gift card for them from someone who is unaware of my experience with them. Aside from the candy, the goods on offer were unappealing and of low quality at high prices. Consequently I found myself first in the alcohol section, then the food. It was not hard to hit the amount of the gift card. The person at register was nice enough. There was nothing about the visit that would entice me into becoming a regular customer again.

Service was the reason for a 5 review. The store would have gotten a 2.5 review based on product availability. Kandy was the young lady who spent at least 45 minutes helping me. Up n down ladders, and searching for prices. She was real trooper. And my sales associate, was darling. I can't remember her name but she has a emerald highlights and disserves a shout out too. All in all, check online first if what you're looking for is in stock. But if your just going to see if something grabs to purchase. There's plenty of friendly staff to help guide you

It's a specialty import store that has a fun and eclectic selection in each and every section of the store. From teas, candy, spices and wines to furniture and rugs - you will not be disappointed with the unique selections. The store is spacious with an inviting open concept and the employees are usually more than happy to help out and knowledgeable. Also, they seem to make a point of not letting the checkout lines get too long.

We came to this store from the north bay because there were supposed to be two counter stools we were looking for in stock. As it turns out they did not have them. We were helped by three wonderful ladies. They searched the store and called another bay area store to check their inventory. They came up empty handed, but then figured out where we could order them from an online source. We are indebted to them.

I'm a sucker for the Cost Plus food section - so many tasty treats to try out. Add on the fact that they carry New York Seltzer, it's hard to stay away. I've always been a fan of their card & wrapping section along with the seasonal items for Halloween and Christmas especially. Also - a huge shout out to Carlos who has always been super helpful when I've been in the store and looking for something.

Fantastic for window shopping ️ sometimes they have good deals. All goods are imported from parts of the world. Wide range of handmade soaps, candle scents, incense sticks cute pots, lighting goods/lamps and gourmet foods. ️Apparel and kitchen items are expensive, but gourmet foods and candles are value for money. Carpets and towels are also better quality than target.

I have shopped at different World Markets for decades, and I love their products. If I could give this location in particular 0 stars, I would - and I will never be back. The manager here is as rude as he can get, while trying to cover it up with fake chumminess. It is clear this flows to the other employees, who have nothing but excuses. Drive the extra distance to a different location.

Fun store that always has something that you never knew you needed in stock. I often go here for their wide candy selection as they have many brands that cannot usually be found anywhere else. I've also purchased some of their furniture that holds up quite well. Lastly, this is definitely the place to shop at Christmas time for cards, wrapping paper, and unique decorations.

World Market always has some unique items which is why I like coming here. However this year the inventory seemed a bit thin. No doubt due to all the economic shipping problems. The staff was friendly and helpful as always and I was able to find what I was looking for even though it was not what I was looking for.

A bazaar like store with imported stock from all over the world. From perfumed bar soaps to shower curtains, rugs, kitchen gadgets and everything in between, you can always find something you didn't know you needed. Great wines and spice selections as well as coffees and teas. Always a fun store to visit.

Was trying to apply a 15% off discount to my purchase from my phone, apparently the coupon had to go through Google Pay to complete. The checkout personal wasn't clear about the process either. Would have been nice to let the customer choose to use Google Pay or not.

Found some interesting international items. Just came back from Europe and found some snacks that were sold in Europe being sold here! Also came during Christmas season time and found many treats and gift ideas. Would highly recommend others to check this place out!

This World Market is extremely well run. It is always clean and tidy. The staff is helpful and friendly. They keep a great stock of world wines, coffees, teas, and food stuffs. They have the best selection of bottled gourmet olives at reasonable prices around.

I did not intend to buy anything but always ended up buying something here. They always seem to have some promotions. Great selection of furnitures and snack/drink from different countries, Japan, Taiwan, Germany, UK, etc. Plus, the store is dog friendly.

Busy store even with rainy weather. Since this is a bit of a higher volume store, they run out of stock sooner. But for new items, they have stock out earlier than some other World Markets which is nice.

Nice to find a world market after moving. I normally go here to buy some coffee supplies cheaper than the coffee shops that charge too much for Chemex filters. Good beer selection too.

The wine selection at World Market has noticeably shrunk. That's a shame because, in the past, I would enjoy browsing the wines and could always find something novel and interesting.
