My Tacoma developed a shutter, apparently a common problem for these trucks. Well I looked up the cost of the center support bearing thinking I would have to do the repair myself (with the help from YouTube, if I could even do it) because I expected the repair to be too expensive for me after I priced the bearing on the Internet. I called J & K Auto on a Friday, John quoted a price to good to be true, and said he could do the repair the following Monday. Something was wrong...right? NO, not at all as I found out! I dropped it off at about 9:30 and got a call about 2:00 from Valerie stating it was ready...WOW, at a fraction of my anticipated cost and the price he quoted. He even found the u-joint that caused the problem. I picked it up and it drives so smoooooth, like it hasn't driven in a long time. Everything, I mean everything was PERFECT, the price, the professionalism from both Valerie and John, and of course the workmanship! I didn't have to go back for some crazy reason like I have every other repair place I've been to. Plain and simple, J & K Auto is the ONLY place I will go for any of my auto repair needs...you cannot go wrong unless you don't use J & K Auto. I'd give them more than 5 stars if Google would let me !!!!

On 3/15/23 I was broke down. I am an insurance adjuster and can not have a broken down vehicle as my truck is my most valued tool for my career! I walked to Napa auto parts and was referred to walk 1-2 blocks down the road and ask for Josh, So i did. At that time I explained my situation to Josh. I could see his shop was full and he was very busy! Fortunately Josh stated to me if i can get it to his shop he would get me repaired same day, figuring it would be a min of a 6 hr. Job. He and his team would stay after hours to get me back on the road. And he did exactly what he said that he would do. I could never have been more pleased to have found a shop with integrity, professionalism, and great service. His team was a pleasure to have service my truck. Wrench works is a small business and has high standards. For being an individual 14 hours from home and not knowing who to trust, I must say I found my self in the best hands possible. I had a bad experience with a different machanic at a different place, that took my truck apart & kept wanting money! I called wrench works & spoke to Josh & he had MY truck towed to his shop with no hesitation! My truck was in pieces & alot of parts we're missing! Josh is Amazing I don't know how he did it?! He is a miracle worker!!! He Fixed My truck, honestly I thought I wouldn't stand a chance with that truck ever runing again! I am Very, very Grateful to Josh @ Wrench Works! He is very Honest! John does great work and is honest and straight up! I had to get the head gasket replaced due to a manufacturer defect. He was half the price of anywhere else. A few months later, I had to come in for a coolant leak, my car was smoking like crazy. Turns out a radiator hose blew off due to a clamp going bad. They replaced the clamp, filled the coolant and REFUSED to charge me!!! Having worked in the trades myself(former plumber) I believe that if you need the advice or help from a professional, you SHOULD be charged at least something for it. He's given me advice over the phone numerous times, looked at both my vehicles to give recommendations at no charge, and even charged me less than the quote he gave me for the head gasket! This will be the last time you have to "look" for a mechanic again!

Came here today for a diagnostic to see if we could make it cross country with our vehicle. Josh could've EASILY continued the entire diagnostic and charged us full price. Instead, after he realized our vehicle wasn't safe to drive that far he stopped, gave us the unfortunate news and didn't charge us unnecessarily. He recognized us from a year ago we had came to him with our truck stalled nearby. He helped us arrange a cheap tow and replaced our alternator cor a reasonable price. I can honestly say he is the most HONEST, DEPENDABLE, RELIABLE and HARD WORKING mechanic I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. If you're looking for somewhere to take your vehicle but you're wary of being dooped please don't hesitate to call up Wrenchworks. It's the best experience Ive ever had

So I happened to have a squealing belt issue RIGHT by their shop. On a whim I immediately called the closest shop- Wrench Works. It was a Friday mid morning (approx 10:30 am) and asked if they could at least confirm my diagnosis. They WORKED ME INTO THEIR SCHEDULE and had me back on the road same day. I literally just walked to lunch and back and the repairs were complete. Marlene the front desk person was kind, compassionate, and understanding. The mechanics looked at my 1998 Honda Accord and didn’t try and upsell me or convince me I needed to fix X other things wrong with the vehicle. I came in with a problem and they solved exactly that problem. I will absolutely come back to this shop in the future and give them my highest recommendation. Thank you Josh and team!!

I seriously can’t thank these guys enough! We are on a road trip crossing the entire US and have been having issues with our electric brake controller which was due to a faulty brake control switch. I called them and they said I could come in immediately. All of them came out to help, didn’t overcharge me and had my issue fixed in less than ten minutes. I’m driving alone with my 4 kids and honestly this fix could be something so small but critically necessary as we drive up and down mountains and could save our lives. I feel so much relief now and safer. Outstanding good old fashioned excellent customer service is what this business is about!

Took my Ford Expedition to this place a few months ago. I already had taken it to two other places who couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. The third place wanted to charge me 75.00 an hour just to troubleshoot, that didn't include repairs "if" they could find the problem. J&K found my problem and only charged for labor and parts. Price was reasonable and staff was great! I'm having other issues now and will definitely be going back there for the new problem. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else now. Honest business, honest hard working people, very hard to come by now a days. Won't take my vehicles anywhere else.

Oh man what a great place for auto repair. I'm so relived I took it to John. My van was acting up I thought it was the transmission and was ready to spend thousands. Half day later John called me and said it was ready all my problems were solved. A couple odds and ends that needed attention and I was back on the road with a grand total of $158 bucks. Dam what a relief. I will always take my vehicles to John and Jk automotive. Honest and quick. Two things most Mechanics have never been guilty of. Take your issue to John he will make your day.

When called i just need a simple qoute. So i asked how much to pull a spark plug sleeve. Trust me i undersatand i own a business myself. But when he tells me it could cost 2000 dollars and he had someone pay him that to do one sleeve. I just can't believe someone would pay that. So i suggest you do not come here . Because if he talked someone into that repair for one spark plug sleeve could you imagine what he would charge for a head gasket it just might be 5000. I talked to John .

I had my Transmission replaced in my FWD Accord by Josh and his team. He was very patient and understanding as the transmission i was supposed to get had hiccups along the way and was very calm and gave amazing service! I recommend Wrench works to anyone who needs a good mechanic to work on their car, there's not a lot of good ones here in town, and i don't like anyone working on my car. But Josh will be my go to guy to work on my car from here on out!

This is a wonderful place to get your mechanic work done. They have lots of experience and have been open for years. The owner Josh is very accommodating and pleasant. They have some ASE certified mechanics and will always do their best on your vehicle the FIRST time. Their prices are also very fair. Friendly and honest! Took my car to Firestone walked out a day and a half later with a $2500 repair estimate. I came here they fixed the problem the same day and they recommended a serpentine belt change in the near future, I told them to do the serpentine belt now and add on an oil change and I was out of there for well under $200. 3 months later my car is still running great! Thanks guys!

Would give 10/5 stars if I could! Josh helped get our company out of a bind with one of our trucks yesterday and really saved us from what would have been future major headaches. All other mechanics we called prior stated they would take days/weeks to get the job done... on top of charging a whole lot more. Customer care was good but they don't know what is actually wrong with car which makes you spend more money on something they fixed that didn't need fixing. My car is still not running correctly I let them know and now they want me to pay over 200$ more to get something else fixed... Need more knowledge and patience. Seemed like they jumped the gun on what was "broken."

I had a pressing issue.....and ONLY ONE CAR. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE.....they got me in and out in a few hours.... Where as it would have been very Reasonable to have gotten my car back at the End of the next day !!! I Highly Recommend these guys... ALL OF THE STAFF SEEMED knowledgeable and courteous. We had to stop by due to a check engine light coming on during our trip from Texas to California. They were very understanding and took our car in quickly for diagnosis. I was recommended to the shop. I was never told they do not have a secure yard to hold the vehicles in. My truck was broken into, if it would have started it would have been long gone. Now the shop will not even return my calls. I will never know if they are good mechanics as I will not be taking my vehicles back.
