"Every kid in Seattle should go to this park at least once"
"Wonderful public park for the neighborhood"
"The new park is really cool and expansive"
"Great views, excellent site organization, water spray fountain area with nearby landscape mounds, picnic tables, and seating on street level"
"Awesome new park with spray pad for the kids"
Every kid in Seattle should go to this park at least once. The grass slide is so much fun. But the parking is horrible. So bike, walk, ride the bus, train or anything but drive cause the parking is a huge pain. You could get lucky and find a spot. Not cause the park is full but the park doesn't have any designated parking.
Wonderful public park for the neighborhood. Stunning view of the stadiums and beyond. Basketball hoops, playground, and grass make for an ideal oasis. Last summer there were movies in the park on summer evenings. Great spot of a picnic, reading a books or catching some summer zzzz's on a blanket. Popular for a reason.
The new park is really cool and expansive. My son has a ball running around and playing on all the new machines, swings and slides, and doesnt want to leave when it's time to go!!! I even had a good time sliding down the hill next to the big slide structure. Theres cardboard for most of us
Great views, excellent site organization, water spray fountain area with nearby landscape mounds, picnic tables, and seating on street level. Unbelievable play structures for 2-5 yrs and 6-12 to actively engage the users. If you're older you'll wish that you were a child again. …
Awesome new park with spray pad for the kids. Great view of the town. Nice addition to the city/area. Good size play area and slides for kids to run around, have fun, and play sports. Finding parking might be a challenge but once you do, it will be well worth it!
Great views and decent layout. Only issue, (and it's not the parks fault), is the fact that trash tends to get spread out from the garbage cans a little to often. It's amazing to me that people forget what it means to pickup after themselves more than not.
Pleasant park with picnic tables, medium sized field, and playground. There is also a basketball court and community center nearby with a nice view of downtown and stadiums. I’d recommend going to check out the sights, especially during July 4.
Yesler Terrace is undergoing a massive renovation. Many large new apartments are being built on the hill East and South of downtown Seattle. Tucked next to the community center is a small park. There are a couple of rides for younger kids,
Built hillside, Yesler Terrace has a great view for a playground, I wonder if the kids running up and down the slides know how awesome this view is. In the park there are some really cool slides, a ground fountain, a basketball court, some
Skyway Park is a nice place to visit. The area is under construction, but the fields and playground are open. Great place for running, kicking or throwing around a ball. There are several trails that run into the surrounding forests, but
A new playground and park with play equipment to challenge toddlers to young kids. If your child loves climbing, s/he'll thoroughly enjoy the rope courses at the playground. Beautiful scenery for adults, with wonderful views of the
Excellent park for kids, playground, basketball, walking paths. The area is thriving. Can be crowded. Many apartments going up in the immediate area. There is a community center there also.
I love this park, but it's not perfect... lol I don't like how everyone litters there.. There are plenty of trash cans !!! You will see some large rats too!!!
Nice park to take the kids to. I didn't give 5 stars because there were no bathrooms available at the park. There was a water fountain and even a doggy fountain …
Great park, has a small water spray park, lots of new playground equipment, there are picnic tables. The restroom inside the community center is easily accessible
Lovely playground plus community events. The roller slide was a hit with my 2.5 yr old. Had a bit more trash on the playground than I'd like, but it wasn't awful
A lot of space and newly renovated. The kids had fun at the playground and there is also a spray park. A fenced in soccer field and exercise equipment.
Large, modern park with a killer view, great spray feature, and dedicated sports area. Lots of kids at all times of day, diverse in age and background
It’s beautiful water park lots of space picnic play community center nice on a hott day it really cools u down my son likes it too he’s 10 months
Great place to be with family and kids. Water park, picnic tables, little soccer field, basketball field. And a great place to walk
Be especially cautious if you plan to arrive early as this park often has paraphernalia/ un-safe garbage near playstructures.
About yesterday's visit to the park!!!!! The smiles on their faces was enough for me to get over the traffic that led us
One of my kids favorite playgrounds hands down! The best part is the artificial turf hills you can slide down.
5★ park. Where can you find a jungle playground for kids & an exercise route so close to Capitol Hill?
Beautiful inner city location, newer structures, astro turf, great view, fun water area. Great stuff.
A very quite place to bring a kid, animal, or gather your thoughts.
