After reading good reviews I expected some special tasty food on my birthday. Everything I ordered was below average. Curry puffs without curry, were like plain vegetable puffs. My hubby and I both ordered pad thai with prawns. They came out 10 mins apart. One was slopped on the plate but a very generous serving, the sauce tasted like a sweet supermarket jar..not palatable! The other was traditional as expected with lovely flavour but half the size. When asking the waiter why he apologised and said 2 different chiefs cooked them. Not happy...will not be back. I'll try the bluestone Thai up the road next time.

Absolutely appalling and not the first time - we are done with this place. Ordered dinner online at 6.30pm Meal arrives at 8.30pm (second time they’ve done it but we thought.....give them the benefit..) $107 later food uncooked, meat raw with blood in the sauce (was all you could taste) Had to throw it out. It had clearly been cooked in a rush cause they forgot our order Will NEVER be back and will make it our business to warn others. If you run a business, are prepared to take customers money (with no advice or even a courtesy call to say they’d be late) then get it right. Disgusting. Do not eat here.

Food was great. Had to wait a while for our entree spring rolls, which were yum. The pad Thai, Thai fried rice & the chicken & noodles were really nice. Homemade Coconut icecream was very nice, but but pricey at $9 for 2 scoops. Overall great experience.

This is our "Friday Night Special" takeaway Thai restaurant. After a full and busy week there is nothing more enjoyable than snuggling up to a good movie with a chicken green curry in hand. Being a creature of habit (when it comes to Thai food) we have been doing this for years and I can confidently say we have only been disappointed once which was quickly forgiven as they usually deliver on flavour consistently.

We placed an order for delivery today which was supposed to be 35 minutes. Over 1 hour 15 with no response, I called the shop only to receive terrible attitude from the girl on the other end telling me I’d got my own address wrong. We used to order regularly from Yim Yam. Had some issues and tried this time only to be disappointed again. We will not order again after this experience!

OMG!! This place is a gem and now is my favourite go to Thai restaurant, friendly service and food was so goooooood I always go pass this place but never had a chance to try, eventually we decided to give it a try and ordered chicken padthai and chinese broccoli with crispy pork, all so tasty! Probably one of the best pad thai in Melb, recommended!

Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope! We got take away from here as it was the closest place that made pad thai - will not go again. I got pad thai, I can't remember what my partner got. We also got spring rolls. The spring rolls were edible but everything else tasted like it was marinated and cooked in sugar. It was sickly sweet. Unfortunately won't be rushing back.

It's a decent Thai restaurant with a variety of dishes. Lots of options for both meat and vegetable eaters. Some can even be modified to suit vegans. However, a bit on the expensive side of the food price spectrum. Also, the restaurant doesn't seem to have any measures against bugs and flies. There were a couple of those annoying ones inside.

Really tasty food. Ordered from here twice now and both times the food has been of the highest quality. Tom yum soup, red duck curry, tofu and chilli jam stir fry are off the charts. The papaya salad is on point with a nice kick to it and the fried rice is the perfect side kick. Fast friendly service that is the best Thai food in the area.

Service wasn’t the best. They told us to order via QR code. Food was as expected. No wow factor. We were having an excellent conversation as a waiter interrupted everyone and said “We are closing so please leave”. I found that very rude as there were three other tables like us, all looked at each other. Would I go there again? May be not!

We ordered for when they opened at 5pm at 4.30pm. The food was confirmed by the restaurant as ready at 7.20pm. The food is now sitting at the restaurant until a driver is found. We're now told 8pm the food will be dropped off. I'll be posting again with pictures of the food and an update. How does it take 3.5 hours for fast food?!?!?!

Delivery took 1 1/2 hours (ordered at 8pm Sat, received 9.30pm). Thai chicken basil was sub par, no flavour just chilli heat with almost zero basil. Massaman lamb was amazing as always, only thing saving this from a 1 star review. Have eaten here before and it's capable of 4-5 stars. Disappointed they cannot cope with busy periods.

I loved the food would recommend. I had the chicken and basil stir fry and really loved the flavours. The Thai ice tea was nice as well.

Yim Yam is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. I just love Lao food with its delicate and exotic flavors and Yim Yam is one of the few restaurants in Melbourne where you can find it. They also have Thai food. The service is good, the atmosphere is great and the prices are reasonable. I thoroughly recommend Yim Yam.

I love the food from Yim Yam, but the last three orders are always at least 30 minutes late, if they cant let the customer know as they have your phine umber then stop taking orders via menulog. come on guys get it together. we order for delivery at a certain time, not cos we love waiting for food to arrive

The papaya salad tasted authentic. The massaman curry was tasty but spoiled by being over sweet. Service was attentive but I cannot understand what is so hard about serving two identical slow-cooked curries at the same time. The restaurant is clean and airy. The menu us extensive. Worth a second chance.

We love yim yam. Been here many times and haven't had a bad dish. Came here as a couple, came here with friends, came here with 2 families, came here alone. Price is so reasonable for the quality of food and the serving amount. Very speedy and effective service with cool decor without trying too much.

Tofu roti rolls are great. But the deliberate substitution of coconut rice with steamed rice occurs repeatedly when getting take away/delivery. Also have had reason to question cleanliness practices.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me. I didn’t have anything to really base it off because, I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant before. But I was presently surprised with the quality of the food and the decor was very nice as well. I would certainly give this restaurant a try. More

Average. Had the traditional pad Thai with chicken and it tasted like it was in sweet and sour sauce. The noodles were chewy and not plesant to eat. The mango was nice in the sweet mango with creamy sticky rice. The rice was very salty. The food was edible but would not return.

Can't believe I lived in the neighbourhood for so long without going here, food is fantastic and great value for money. Love the decor as well. Was sad the sausage tasting platter was unavailable but would definitely come back and try other things. Fave was the larp tofu. More

Excellent Asian restaurant with a wide variety of dishes from around Asia, especially Thailand. Have eaten here a number of times now and never disappointed. To top it off prices are extremely reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Mt Alexander Rd Moonee Ponds.

Lived close to this restaurant for years. Was good a couple of years ago and has gone down hill since then. Ordered a curry recently which had more oil in it than curry! The skin of oil was so thick it just separated and sat on top. It was disgusting

Family is a regular here and their Naan rolls are very nice if you can get in early enough before they're sold out. Food is consistently good. Herbivore friendly.

Food was delicious, the customer service slow and nothing special. We went to order dessert and were told they were closing in 5 minutes, it's like they don't want money. Only 3 tables, staff just sitting up the back chatting etc

Some of the best Thai outside of Phuket. Yim Yam is no-fuss, authentic thai cuisine with great flavours throughout the menu. Pad Thai & coconut rice my combination of choice, whilst takeaway is an absolute breeze.

Regularly order takeout from Yim Yam, never been disappointed. The curries are rich and fragrant, and the crispy pork stir fry is especially tasty! Take away containers are cardboard (sustainable) and well sealed.

Tasty yummy thai food. Not your boring 'taste the same' thai like most restuarants. I dont get why people review about the delivery service been slow for restaurants. Get of your arse and pick it up yourself.

This is my favourite Thai in Australia. Everything I have had has been amazing. Satay roti roll, red duck curry, crispy pork and broccoli are my stand out dishes. Duck pancakes are special too.

Pleasant however a bit disappointing curryies were not cooked long enough, meat not as tender as it should be and some veg undercooked. Roti dry and seemed stale. Highlight were the fishcakes.

Great small restaurant, good service - they even provide table cloth (replaced after each customer) which is a big plus on a restaurant with that price. Ignore the picky Melburnian reviews.

called to order take away and when I got home, it was the wrong order. So I called and spoke to the reception lady, she was very rude and blamed it all on me. Very disappointing service

Food is delicious but unfortunately not always consistent. So the same dish might taste completely different next time you order it, I think it depends on which chef is on.

A catch up with old friends tonight. We loved it here. Hard to fault the surrounds. It’s an impeccably fitted out restaurant with numerous lovely spots to prop.

They have own delivery on Sunday and monday thru eat appy.. The food arrived hot and with smile,couldn't be happier. Will tips the driver,she is good.
