Imagine having a medical emergency and you call to see your doctor and the only time they can schedule you in is 4days later. I called and I even showed up there in person coz I'm literally in so much excruciating pain as I had mentioned but no accommodations could be made coz I had suggested that maybe I should go to a walk in clinic since my doctor could not see me. This was a very disappointing experience and at the end of the day we are all human and we all fall sick. It's already a nerve wrecking experience going to see a doctor, and it does not help when the people that are supposed to help you make that happen treat you like just another number. There was no sympathy, nothing. I'm really disappointed and I would never want anyone feeling the way I am be treated like that. I hope they do better!

In August I started with Dr. DeCaria as my Family Physician retired. I was told that his hours are Mon, Tues and Friday 9 - 4 and Thursday 1 - 8. Today (Wednesday) I called to book an appt and was told that I have to call Thursday to see if he has anything available. On Thursday's you have to call first thing in the morning as there are only 3 spots available. You call if they are taken then they will check with the Doctor to see if you can be put in or not. I work full time and M/T/F does not work for me. When Dr. DeCaria said Thurs 1-8 he should have also explained the procedure that you may not call in advance to book. This is totally unacceptable.

I went into the office for the first time ,I did not know what to expect I just wanted to ask some questions about getting an exray done the receptionist told me that I can get it done today I was shock because you go to other places and first thing they say is you have to make an appointment. Every body was very nice and awesome from the receptionist to the exray technician , every thing went smoothly I am sure to go there for my medical exams God keep blessing them thanks Geneive

I wish I was making this up, but I waited 7 months for a physical, they could care less about booking me in. After 4 times of re-scheduling I decided to switch my family doctor. They used to be really good like 5-10 yrs ago, but they are the WORST now. Don't bother wasting your time here because they do not care about your convenience or enough to book you in.

we come here for all our pregnancy scans. receptionist is always friendly and helpful. all three sonographers are very professional. We especially like it when they are caring and spend more time to do the scans (guess when not very busy). Usually not much wait, but before you come here, allow extra time to drive, as there are constant road works on Keele.

I've been a patient here before I was born - my mother had prenatal care here. It's a busy place so your appointment may be a bit late, but the doctors, nurses, and staff are all A-1. Lab, X-Ray/Ultrasound are on site, Pharmacy is across the hall. Many specialists also have offices in the building, like ophthalmologists and orthopaedic surgeons.

This location with the great stuff is very convenient with free parking lots. Moreover, there’s NO long waiting days specially nowadays. I got my Ultrasound appointment for the next day of my calling. The technician (lady) in the Ultrasound was very polite and informative. As a patient I was satisfied with the punctuality of the stuff.

Update: Regretfully changing my review.. —————————————————— Ive been with Dr. Decaria since he joined the Yorkview Medical Centre and Ive never looked back! He not only listens but hears my concerns. So far so great! Love him! He actually cares about us, i truly believe that.

The fact that I’m able to book an appointment within a day, be seen and completed everything within an hour, is incredible as it’s so hard to find a good doctor. My doctor, Van Der Hout, listened, helped, and informed me of everything I needed. Thank you.

The staff at Yorkview are just amazing. My technician Julia is so kind, caring and makes you feel very comfortable. This is my third baby and she has been my technician on all three pregnancies. Thank you Julia for being so great!

Dr Zeldin is the best.Staff at the reception can be unfriendly/rude sometimes but I like the nurses and doctors.
