Zamindar is an Andhra cuisine special located right in the heart of Kalyan Nagar commercial area and is very easy to locate on the main road. Food (5/5): In the era of restaurants trying to do almost everything in a single capacity and ending up being a jack of all, Zamindar stands out as an example exhibiting complete focus and dedication towards their delicacies. Bangalore is full of Andhra cuisine restaurants but the authenticity captured in their dishes is unparalleled in my opinion. Following are the dishes that I would strongly recommend: Chicken Sholay kebab: Crispy on the outside, soft in the inside. Perfect dish to get you started as it gives you a hint of the spiciness of Andhra food. Chicken malai tikka: Being from Delhi, I feel not many restaurants in Bengaluru have quite figured out how to get the sweetness of malai mix with the texture of the tikka, but Zamindar does not disappoint at all here. Egg chilli: Quite innovative and spicy one of the lot. You will not be able to make out from the outside that there will be a perfectly boiled egg inside which will definitely surprise you very pleasantly. Chicken tikka masala: Bang on with the presentation and nothing to complain as far as how well the chicken was cooked. Kodi kura chitti garelu: This is my opinion was the dish that received the maximum repeat orders. This is an Andhra specialty, so much so that there is a restaurant by the same name in Hyderabad. Small onion ring-shaped vadas served with chutney caught most attention and rightly so. Mutton rogan josh: No mutton dish can ever be served with excess oil floating on top of the gravy but I was pleasantly surprised here to see the opposite. The dish was perfectly cooked and scored well on the presentation as well. Kheema paratha: Again a must-try at the restaurant as not many places can get this right and this one does. Gongura mutton biryani: Wanted to keep the best one for the last. This was without a doubt my favorite dish on the menu and I will certainly revisit the restaurant with my gang just to try this beautiful creation. The taste of garam masala amalgamated perfectly with the red meat. Personal recommendation on this one. Ulavacharu chicken biryani: Another authentic specialty from the rich food tradition of Andhra and a must try for first timers as this will give them a new taste experience being made from horse gram. Zamindars special lassi: Well made but could have been thicker in my opinion. Double ka meetha: Crisp bread pieces soaked in sugar syrup and then topped with saffron and cardamom flavored milk rabri. Ambience (5/5): The restaurant is spacious and can afford to seat close to 50 people. Washrooms were fairly clean and the place is kid-friendly. Service (5/5): Service was on point. Anything ordered was served within minutes and the staff was extremely patient and greeted all the guests with a constant smile, something that definitely makes the restaurant experience much better. Value for money (5/5): Cost for 2 will be close to 700 INR if you stick with the basic 1 starter 1 main course kind of strategy, however, this place has so much to offer that you might end up spending a bit more which will be totally worth it.

Visited this place with some of my friends in Kalyan Nagar. Andhra style restaurant where you can try some of the authentic dishes. Loved the ambiance, it has royal touch with cheerful lightings. Perfect place for dine in. You will feel royal the moment you enter this place. We started with sweet and salt lime soda to quench our thirst. And zamindar special masala papad. Paneer Karara: crunchy from outside and tender from inside. This was something special and different which I tried. It is must try for vegetarians out there. Other veg starters worth ordering are veg noorani and veg Kundan kasa. For non veg starters you can try chicken sholay kabab, chicken tikka masala and chicken chandni kabab. Chicken chandni kabab's presentation was amazing and creative. Kabab was juicy, tender and properly cooked. This was my personal favourite. Chicken tikka masala is for those who love spicy and hot dishes. Chicken sholay kabab was just normal and I think it was not that spicy as it used to be. For all the hot heads, u can try dragon chicken which was extra spicy. Apart from this we had an authentic andhra dishe which is must must try over here. Kodi Kura Chitti Garelu, it is super crispy and crunchy vada with chicken gravy and mirchi salan. I loved this one and would recommend every one to try this. Moving on to the main course: butter chicken masala. It was perfectly cooked with tinge of andhra flavor. Gosh badam pasanda is mutton gravy, all those who love mutton, this is must try for them. We have ordered butter kulcha and garlic butter naan to complement the gravies. If one is at an andhra restaurant then how can I forget biryanis, so we ordered special authentic andhra biryani. Gongura mutton Biryani, ulavacharu chicken Biryani, Hyderabadi chicken dum Biryani and special boneless chicken Biryani. I must say all of the biryani was worth ordering. Aroma and flavour from biryani was so nice that you will feel the taste by just smelling it. Finally, in deserts we ordered double ka meetha which is similar to shaahi tukda (with no rabri). Special mention to pot lassi which I loved the most. It has a different taste than usual lassi with a tinch of coconut in it. Overall a perfect dine in place for every occasion. Royal ambiance with some amazing dishes. Must recommended for trying some authentic andhra food and Biryanis.

What a place !!! Giving this compliment after suchhhh a long time. A place which served the best food starting from the starters to the desserts. Perfect ambiance and an awesome service. It was a college Meetup for a huge group of friends. Zamindar is a must try when you are in Kalyan nagar. If you have not visited the same thinking it only serves Andhra food, u should go there and explore the same. They have some mind blowing dishes and a warm cozy seating. Starting with the food, it was a sunny day so we started with a glass of fresh like soda which was a relief after a long day. It's a kind of vada served with Mirchi salan and chicken gravy. U can just go and have it for an afternoon lunch. It was just mind blowing. We tried four types of biryani, all with a different taste Gongura mutton biryani Ulavacharu chicken biryani Hyd chicken dum biryani Spl Boneless biryani All the biryanis were pretty decent And u should surely try all of them. In Dessert we went for Pot lassi : don't expect the traditional Punjabi lassi, this has a touch of South India with coconut added to it and you are surely going to love it so do give it a try and share with me if you liked it. Zamindar the name suggests the meaning as a LANDLORD but in relation to this place they are FOODLORD or the people who can whip up some of the best authentic dishes with a twist. Located at Kalyan nagar on the main road and perched on the 2 nd floor,this cute little place is rich in interiors with a seating capacity of around 50-60 pax at full capacity and sets up a right ambience to serve their wonderful food.The setup of this place speaks volumes about the owners passion and taste. The Service is exceptionally good for the crowds they handle and are passionate about their work. Zamindaar - "Andhra Cuisine at its best" Located at 2nd Block of Kalyan Nagar. My visit to this place was certainly astonishing. Had the best Authentic Andhra cuisine in recent times. HATS OF TO THE CHEF for serving the quality food with incomparable quantity. Cuisine served over here is Chinese, Mughlai & Andhra style. They are known for thier varities of Biryani. The interiors are in a mix of royal colors of gold which gives a lavish feel while dinning. The hospitality of the staff is worth mentioning - they regularly ensured that we were provided the best experience. Coming to the food, we started with Chicken Seekh kebab & Chicken Malai Tikka. Loved the Chicken malai tikka, the presentation was eye catching. Chicken was extremely tender & juicy with perfect marination. Sekkh kebab was little okayish finaly touch to perfection was misssing. Guntur Chicken - Little on the spicy side but loved every bite of it. Dragon Chicken & Chicken Tikka Masala was good too with decent quantity In Mains - Kodi kura chitti garelu - An Andhra delicacy. It was something new & unique combination. Crispy Medu vada with chicken gravy. It tasted so well, we end up ordering it thrice. Moving to the "Biryani" for which we actually came for. Keema Biryani was the star of the afternoon. A highly recommended. Just love the taste, cooked to perfection. Gongura mutton biryani was on the spicer side because of the gungura spices, tasted pretty well. Recommeded for the Spicy biryani lovers. One certainly should not miss their biryani. In Desserts, double ka meetha perfectly ended our lunch on a high note. Overall an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend this place specially for their biryani and andhra cuisines.

We went with our 3 years old daughter, they gave very tiny means very tiny small plate for my daughter, bigger sized plates for elders. I requested for one big plate for my daughter, but they denied by saying plates are countable,, if u want big plate pay 300 rupees they asked. How ethical to ask full charge for 3 years old kid as kids will not have just one piece also. And then their cash counter person came to our table to say plate cannot be given to kids, he was very rude in saying that, At last they did not give plate to my small baby. There simply on board they put we don't use ajinomoto, food colors and all but food served here has all chemicals added in it. Chickens are not washed properly , food is so smelling as the chicken is not qualitative one. As kabab was not available, they gave sholay kabab, it was semi gravy type, that sholay kabab was pathetic, As soon as I kept it in my mouth, I felt like vomiting. Only one type of biriyani, that is hyderabadi biryani was available. Again it is tasteless worst biriyani. After having here my whole family has got food poison, from yesterday we all have vomiting and stomach pain. Better pls avoid this place. Our health is important than this 299 rs food. Never ever take your under 5 years kid to this hotel, they humiliate kids by not giving them plates. For giving empty plate charge is 299 rupees for kids, be aware. Better don't risk yours and your family health by having this 299 rupees combo.

Zamindar's food was a profound disappointment and certainly not worth the money. The taste was unimpressive, lacking the vibrant and authentic flavors one expects from Indian cuisine. Zamindar is just THE PLACE-if you are looking for a great Andhra Menu and good ambience for family lunch or dinner. It is located in Kalyan Nagar main road and can accommodate about 50 people. Ambience is something done so right that it gives a feeling of ROYALTY. Service in the restaurant is exceptional. I could witness the entire family getting involved and getting things right in the first instance. Loved their spirit!!!! Starters tried were- • chicken seekh kebab - was not a fan of it. Food is excellent from value for money angle. At 400 Rs buffet it is perfect to have stomach full. Even if you pay 1000+Rs with lots of varieties at other places we end up concentrating on only two non veg dishes either chicken and mutton or Chicken and fish. In this aspect this restaurant gets full marks for getting this right on the spot. Next point is that for this small menu the food has to be tasty. Firstly soup was tasty and the two starters on Sunday ie chicken kebab & chicken dry were very tasty and correctly cooked and spiced. For Rs 399 menu two biriyani variety was served ( Chicken biriyani & Mutton mince biriyani). The chicken biriyani was cooked perfectly even the rice was fluffy and chicken moist. Mutton biriyani was also spiced perfectly. You have still the white rice + Rasam + Sambar also but the non veg starters & biriyani will make your stomach full. One dessert will be served like payasam which is also tasty. If you go as group of 5 or more people you will understand the worth of a Rs 399 unlimited when you realized you had paid only Rs 2000 for 5 people instead of 5500 + at other buffet places. Only negative is that the place is small even with restaurant spread overv3 floors. Sundays are packed so better to go early as there is no advance reservation system.

I visited recently with my family. I had a very pathetic experience. They asked for my son Aadhar card as he was looking tall and 1st they charged full adult price, when I asked he is kid it should charge kids price the cash counter guy asked for Aadhar after see the Aadhar he gave the discount. But I would say that was worst experience like showing Aadhar for age of my kid. After Aadhar card showing also he confirmed that he is minor they did not say sorry for their behaviour. The food is not that great. The chicken is also smelling. There is quality issue with the restaurant. Service also they will be monitoring as if we are eating their food without pay. Cash counter person is the worst person with very bad behaviour. I will never again visit and never recommend anyone. If you have cash then only you can go. They don’t accept credit card. This something new which I saw. They are ruining Andhra people name here in Bangalore. We thought the Andhra restaurant is best in food and service but experienced worst. Even we took drinks also which is charged 40/- for a glass which is less than 200ml. They are charging 750ml price per glass. Worst, worst, disgusting …. I like to give -ve but there is no option.

Well, tasted both Veg and Non Veg (Combo offer Rs.299) Veg : Tasted Veg Fried Rice and Gobi 65/Gobi Chilli Veg Fried Rice (2.5/5) (Price: Rs 170/180) : there was something in this dish but nothing to be proud off because I've tasted best fried rice giving 40 rupees in the city. Gobi Chilli (3.5/5) : this dish was filled out of the garlic flavour as usual it's a Chinese food and garlic flavour is acceptable. The quantity was good and the quality too. The Veg menu is too costly. Non Veg: Tasted the 299 combo: (3 starters, 2 Biryani) Hong Kong chicken, Chicken Kebab, Fried Chicken, Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, Boneless Chicken Biryani. Starters (4/5) : the chicken was marinated well before cooking and the flavours were rich and TBH the starters make your stomach full soon. Biryani (3.5/5) : the Rice was cooked well and was presented well but the flavours weren't rich. The chicken was cooked well with all the spices around each pieces. Overall rating (4/5) : the place is good, the staffs are polite and main disgrace is not having a parking space, that's it! I liked that board there mentioning "No food will be wasted if it is done then charges will be applied for wasting" and this is something which caught my eye.

I am seriously surprised to see less rating for this restaurant. From my personal opinion I felt like a home. Quality of food is really amazing without adding any tasting salt and colour, they r only using saffron for getting the colour and flavour. The food is really hot and fresh with reasonable spicy and for family I highly recommend this place, even with kids I say it’s the nice place about neatness of kitchen and washrooms. Top floor view of the restaurant in the evening hours is amazing if the road view. I need to write specifically about the management and the staff of the restaurant is such a friendly and genuine people and highly healthful for the people. Mainly the waiter Biswajit das and manager mani super friendly and he promised me that he will give me the best food in Bangalore and he was on his mark. I felt that best biryani in Bangalore I had today. Starters are really top notching of the restaurant. Biryani is also really the same flavour of hyderabad touch. Highly recommended for family and everyone.

Love the ambience, starters are good. We had ordered 5 non veg buffet (₹300/- + gst) and egg fried rice, But there few pro and cons, hope they would look into it. Pros: 1. Very nice ambience, 2. Starter were good (upto 2 to 3 servers). 3. Reasonable pricing. 4. Best place for families to dine in. Cons: 1. While serving the starter for the first serve it tasty good and awesome but when you for the third serve and above the chicken fry gets spicy and the Hongkong chicken will be more of sauce, onions, capsicums less of chicken. 2. They gave us the 2 type of biryani but it all tasted the same and when we ask the server about it, he blindly told us that it is without bone chicken biryani and with bone biriyani. 3. The chicken used in the both biryani are same and it's same chicken used for starter (Hong Kong chicken). It's just the in biryani the chicken is without sauce and in starter it's with sauce. 4. We need some privacy, the server will just stand and starr at us while eating which is bad and makes us uncomfortable. 5. Egg fried rice was average and no much of taste. 6. The rice used for biryani and fried rice is basmati rice (Steamed) and it was bad was unable eat more than 3 to 4 tbsp, we started feeling heavy.

Me and my family decided to go to this place to celebrate mother's day. First thing you all should know is that there is no Vallet parking, neither there is any hotel parking space. However ther is a paid parking nearby you can ask someone there. I didn't know of this and I had to go all the way searching for places in the gullies to park my car and walk all the way back to the hotel which was tiresome and disappointing Now about the restaurant, it was good, well maintained, had ample seating and cozy lightnings. We ordered 299 unlimited biriyani combo, it came with 2 varities of biriyani, three chicken starters. The biriyani with Bone was really good, the boneless biriyani was average. The starters were amazing we had plenty of it. We ordered some lime soda, egg masala and mutton kheema fry from the al-acarte and it was really delicious. It's a good place for family lunch and dinner. However you gotta wait for refill as the servers there get real busy serving the crowd and you have to keep waving for starters or biriyani refill.

It was a family dinner at Zamindar. We chose to go to the top floor. It was spacious and not too crowded. They offer unlimited thalis for Rs 299. That consists of three types of dry chicken dishes and boneless and with bone chicken dum biryani. A half cup of curd raitha to accompany it. The same is offered at Rs 399 on the first floor!!! Every item was tasty. The biryani was a little bland and just warm. Soon it became crowded. There is a sit out on the balcony too. The host and waiters were friendly and helpful. The interiors are decorated with antiques. Pleasantly arranged. The music was a tad oud mixed with chatter of the customers. I enjoyed every bite, but couldn't eat much looking at the continuous supply of food. In the end as a special gesture, the host Pakash gave us free paper rolled sweets which was loaded with dry fruits. It's an Andhra special sweet. Go guys... Unlimited chicken delight only for Rs. 299 only on the top floor! !!

The combination of the three unlimited starters with Biryani left much to be desired. Among these options, only two of the starters, namely the kebab and chilly chicken, managed to impress. Unfortunately, the curry-type starter failed to meet our expectations and did not taste good at all. As for the biryani itself, it was quite lackluster and surprisingly lacked even basic seasoning, such as salt. The initial serving of biryani, in particular, stood out as exceptionally bland, and the quality of the meat or other ingredients used did not elevate the dish. To make matters worse, after we had already filled our stomachs with this rather mediocre fare, they brought out the boneless biryani, which felt like a somewhat manipulative move to entice us to continue eating. Overall, it's difficult to recommend this place. While the prices are indeed budget-friendly, I am personally aware of better dining options within the city that offer similar pricing. Ultimately, the concept of unlimited servings loses its appeal when the food quality falls short of expectations.

Was here for a quick dinner with friends. And OMG. How beautiful this place looks. Lovely interiors. Fell in love with the place instantly. And as I was hungry we just ordered alot of food. And waited eagerly to try them all. Food arrived pretty quickly. And was heavenly too. I tried chicken sholay kebab and jeedi pappu kodi vepudu in the chicken starters and both had a kick to it. In seafood I tried Fish chilli And fish manchurian and prawn fry. Which were full of flavour and spices. Tasty to the bits. Also tried a couple veg starters like crispy veg, chilli paneer and Mushroom pepper dry. We asked for spicier version. And oh Lord we got it. Spicy and yummy. Methi chaman and Chicken tikka masala with Butter naan is highly recommend. Subtle and unique flavour talks for itself. And when it came to rice dishes I tried Gun powder rice - which is yummyness to the power of infinity. Also tried the Avakai chicken biryani and Hyd dum biryani - reminded me of a typical Hyderabad biryani. Finished our heavenly meal with Double ka meetha and Pot lassi. Head to this place to have a tummy tuked meal !

The only thing good about the restaurant is the quality and taste of food. The restaurant somehow cannot understand that both vegetarians and non-vegetarians can dine together. The discourteous non-Kannada speaking staff relegate you either to the vegetarian floor or non-vegetarian floor where the other type is forced to order from a very limited choice which would otherwise be available if they get separated and choose the respective floors. With only my wife being a vegetarian, she was asked to dine alone on a separate floor or order from an extremely limited choice on the non vegetarian floor. To remain with the family, she had to reluctantly choose the latter. Moreover, though we were the first ones to arrive at the restaurant, the service was excruciatingly slow and we had to wait with empty plates to draw the attention of the waiters. Overall, the experience of good food was spoiled by the attitude of the restaurant staff.

Very Bad Experience! Over hyped restaurant (Unlimited Non Veg Combo) Ordered 1 Non Veg Combo, 1 Vanjaram Fish, 1 Mushroom Biryani, 1 Shahi Tukda. Non Veg Combo: Served 3 starters and 1 biryani, when asked for 2nd biryani waiter said you have already taken 2 different biryani. When we argued then he came back saying biryani rice is same only pieces will be different. Leave about it. Starters only one starter was good, other two were not upto the mark. Biryani: after having the biryani had some weird feeling, was not able to eat. I think they must be using Soda while cooking biryani. Mushroom Biryani: Was not so great but ok! Vanjaram Fry: Was Good! Shahi Tukda: Was Good! Too Sweet Don't not order Non Veg Combo! After coming back from Zamindar, had very bad stomach ache. Lets do a pros and cons list for this one. The pros - The quantity of the food they give is enormous ( well its unlimited duh!) - The place has nice ambience ( just watch out for the first floor cause there's no AC) - The taste is truly something i loved. The 299 meal was worth it . - tried the veg biryani and baby corn chilli as well and it tasted great The cons - The spice levels might be a little too much for people who dont generally prefer spicy food - The plates come with a round banana leaf, it looks clean but the plate itself looked a bit messy and had to get that changed - The soup was an absolute mess , dont even think of going anywhere near this - We went on a Monday and the crowd was a little less compared to weekends, felt the waiters could have looked at the plates on our end too cause we had to literally call them to get served non veg starters TLDR : the place is good for a nice afternoon meal. Should visit.

Moshions we will get if we go there if we eat this food(Good noon veg food two types of biryani and 3 types of starters more crowded reach restaurant by 12 if you have more than 5 people more crowded at one o clock cost is reasonable we went 3 people went coated for us 900 unlimited) for these I have 5 star rating but recently on 28/7/2023 I have changed my opinion they are telling to get up when we sit on chair because we sat on 4 table at that time we went to two people before sitting if they told we would have adjusted but after sitting ordering food they are telling and coming to the food previously they have 3 staters now changed to 2 staters that also I didn't liked please don't visit if you are stomach is good if you eat here it's making moshions to people that I realised later please go with it.

If you hear Andhra cuisine and immediately think about a lot of chillies and spices, then hold up. This place will surely change your perspective towards Andhra cuisine. This place is serving straight-up authentic Andhra food. The balance of spices is so banged on that you can taste every element in the dish and the chillies are not at all overpowering the flavours. My personal favourite was the Ulavacharu biryani and Gongura mutton Biryani. The flavours of the Gongura leaves was nicely balancing out the spiciness of the biryani and the meat was cooked to perfection. On the other hand, the ulavacharu was so smooth and soul-satisfying. The slightly sweet and soy like flavour due to fermentation of the Ulavacharu and the deep hearty flavour of the horse gram was so soothing. The Ulavacharu Mutton Biryani was something divine.

A child below 6 or 7 years would not get a plate and you have to 50 percent , if they have to be given a plate. A kid is being asked to eat from parent's plate. I have never heard anything of this sorty in 41 years of my life. FOOD SUCKS and there is a lot of attitude in people serving. I remember going there when it opened and it was better. Now , I guess since there are so many ppl visiting, they don't care. Besides they have a menu card which says we should not waste food . If food is wasted, they will ask the customers to pay. Although wasting foood is not good, but using language. which sounds rude on a menu card spoils the fun of eating. Ok lets forget this and get to food.Biryani sucks... Kababs are hard. OVERALL it sucks. There are better restaurants in Kalyan nagar.

Yesterday we went to dine in zamindar the food was good but we found a hair in it which was not good but it is understandable that sometimes it happens and they changed the plate and provided to me but what irritated me the most is after having when we went to pay we wanted to inform about this to counter person in 3rd floor but as soon as we went over he started acting like he is busy he was not even looking at us after we did the payment and left the room I just peeped in n I saw that the moment we left all his work was over and he was sitting in his place whereas it was his duty to provide some kind of compensation or just a sorry would do but he didn't do that which was very disappointed his crisis management skill is really really really very very bad.

Well i had dined at this place and was completely disappointed with the service. They don’t even have a basic cruet set (salt and pepper) on table. Ok fine. First he gets one dish then wait for 20 minutes then this keeps repeating every 20 minutes of wait for every dish. What kind of joke is this? The service staff don’t even have coordination among themselves. Please Do not order any veg items here, phulka was hard. Andhra food is known for spice and Andhra restaurants are known by their biryanis. Zamindar has a great menu with a ton of biryani options along with a variety of multi cuisine dishes from starters to main course and desserts. They also have a full veg thali that comes with unlimited supply of all servings at a very affordable price! The notable dishes I'd recommend would be the thali, karara paneer, mushroom pepper dry, baby corn pepper dry, uluvacharu veg biryani and pot lassi. The overall look, feel and ambience is very welcoming and is refreshing. Staff is courteous, has good knowledge of the menu and the service is fairly quick. Not so expensive overall as well. This place accepts cashless payments as well. You can order online and reserve table in advance also.

Overall disappointed. Don't waste your money, avoid this restaurant. 1. Billing person, Service person attitude is very very rude. 2. Chicken Biryani is very very worst, stock chicken used, not at all fresh. 3. Mutton Kheema Biryani is not at all good. Not fresh. I'm sure that, Biryani was prepared 2 or 3 days back. 4. It was a very bad experience at this restaurant. First we were asked to move to different seat when the restaurant was empty. Then we wanted to order non vegetarian buffet 299/- wala for us and Ala Carte menu for my kids. They didn't allow and after a talk they said ok, then they started irritating about extra charges on meal wastage and lecture about no sharing with kids even we were yet to order. We were there to have quality time and this hotel staff awkward and irrational behavior is a major disappointment. Zamindar is one of the Andhra Restaurants where they serve authentic Andhra cuisine. Recently had been to this Restaurant and for a vegetarian they had introduced veg Thali. Being an great love for south indian meals including Andhra one hence I went for this. I would like it say it is very tasty, I loved the gongura pachadi, pappu, bottleguard pachadi and stuffed Brinjal fry was excellent along with ghee and rice. Took out my family for dinner to this place after shopping in Kamanahalli. Has multiple floors, the most popular offering being the unlimited Non Veg and Veg Buffets. Two of us tried the unlimited biryani buffet @ 299. It has 3 types of chicken starters and 2 types of biryanis. For that price, it was pretty decent though not much quality and taste should be expected. Coming to a la carte, we ordered jeera rice, tandoori roti, mughlai chicken and veg kandana kasa, a shredded paneer dish. The curries were once again decent. The 3 unlimited starters with Biryani is very average. Only two of the starters are worthwhile which is the kebab and chilly chicken. The curry type starter was not good at all. The biryani was very lackluster and lacked even salt. One of the biryanis served in the beginning was especially more so bland and the pieces were not that great either. After our stomachs were full with the very average food they come and serve the boneless biryani.....felt like a very cheap tactic. Cannot recommend. The prices are great but personally I know better places for similar price range within the city. No point of unlimited if the food is not good.

It's a good option for a non-veg buffet, I visited on Sunday for lunch. My suggestion is to avoid going on Sundays. It is hell-crowded, at least one has to wait for a good 40 minutes to secure a table. Keep a note there is no parking so plan it accordingly. Coming to the food, fried kebab and Biryani is good. Don't expect it to be too delicious. As I was waiting for an hour to eat here, I felt it was not worth waiting. The food is reasonably good.

One of the highly happening place in bangalore for non veg buffet. It's located in kalyannagar but the Google map shows slightly different location. The place is well known for it's non veg buffet which consists of 3 types of starters namely chicken kebab, pepper chicken and hong Kong chicken and 2 types of hyderabadi biriyani. Hong Kong chicken is a must try here. I didn't like pepper chicken and biriyani as the spices used were more in it. The service is very slow. Went to Zamindar with a lot of expectations due to online reviews. While the service was excellent, the food was not great. The chicken and mutton Biriyani were average but I do appreciate the mutton was cooked really well. The chicken 65 was alright. The chairs were in a bad state and the cushions were stained. 1st of all parking is pathetic, more crowd due hype. taste is ok, we were 8 took 299 buffet, menu says 3 starters, but served only two, kabab was good, other red one not good. Dum biryani ok. And the boneless biryani served cold, pieces felt gone bad, so left as it is. The worst dish I've ever eaten caused an infection in our stomachs after we consumed it. No good direction was given upon arrival, there were few tables, and they weren't very roomy. Regarding the meal, there is nothing like the 299 combination pack I chose; instead, Dey only offers spicy kebab and boneless chicken starts, dum biriyani and a boneless biriyani (jeera rice mixed with boneless chicken starters), and soft drinks. The Empire Restaurant is far better than this one, so save your money.

Very good place for limited menu but unlimited food serving place. 1. Unlimited Biriyani: served 3 starters (Andhra style, Kabab and Chineese style) and Two biriyani (Hyderabadi Biriyani and Boneless Biriyani). Good taste and hearty meal to enjoy 2. Buffet: This had main course, roti curry options and Kheema biriyani along with starters of both veg and non veg options. Food was good. Best was thier pickles - Rice, Ghee along Gongura and Aavakaya tasted out if the world. I wanted to eat them alone. Dessert was good too

It's the first time I've been to a buffet for such a less price. The experience was amazing, for ₹299 you get unlimited chicken biriyani with and without bone and you get 2 starters chicken Manchurian and kabab. It was sunday and its crowded asusual as every restaurant in Bangalore. Waited for almost 30-40mins to get a table (Standing on steps no waiting area or Chairs). Tried 299 Nonveg unlimited combo that includes Chicken 65, Chicken Manchurian, Chicken fry and 2 types of Biryani. Starters are good not the best, Biryani was just average in taste. Service was pathetic, because it was over crowded and congested. They didn't even serve me 2nd type of Biryani. One positive is it's budget friendly.

I am reviewing this Restaurant after my third visit. Very Well behaved and friendly staff, very much customer centric. Non veg unlimited is the highlight and it is really worth the money. Chilli chicken is my favourite and chicken 65 is also really good. Non veg unlimited consists of 3 types of chichen dishes and 2 varieties of chicken biriyanis, raitha and onion with lemon are the other sides. Really recommend...I will surely visit again.

We had 299 unlimited combo here Starters : Chicken fry andhra style - 2* salty and no specific flavors, with bone Chicken kabab - 4* oil fried, piece was tender and spices are perfectly coated, with bone Hongkong chicken - 2* cornflour coated boneless chicken dipped in a sauce, too much sauce made it bad, Chicken dum biryani - 3* decent biryani with tender piece Chicken boneless biryani - 2.5* okayish biryani with lot's of oil traces in it Ambience is decent and Serving is good For the 299 combo I felt that The Biryanis restaurant in Jeevan bhima nagar serves better

I never expected that this place would be so untidy. I have been here on 29th June when visited the place they said briyani is not available so we ordered other items taste was not up to the mark not the quantity was good they just charge you more and the quantity of food is to less. As soon as you enter the restaurant left side you have a place to sit with family and you can view the way that place was smelling so badly felt like vomiting. Over all it's not worthy place.

Very nice place....We tried unlimited biryani for 299.... Which consists of chicken starters (kabab, Manchurian,Masala fry)and 2 biryani (Dum biryani with bone and without bone).. In veg tried Babycorn Manchurian and Panner biryani (Little spicy)... Unlimited offer worth the money... Kabab crispy (Zamindar style kabab masala). Manchurian (Lot of bone picies). Masala fry (Little spicy and too much of masala fragrance). Biryani made of Basmati rice.. Worth a try.. nice decent ambience.. No lift from 3rd to 4th floor rooftop.. but neat place to dine in....

The non veg combo is very reasonable here and the food quality is good too. Pricing is quite reasonable for the combo and the options are good. Liked the chicken kabab, andhra chicken and Chinese style chicken. Biryani was good too. Ambiance is nice and they have multiple floors. Great value for money. Worth a visit :) Amazing food ! Best service :) Worth for money being paid ! The food is authentic and best taste . Don’t miss the veg Manchurian , corn Manchurian , rasam rice with ghee and ghonguru chatni were the best . Ragi mudde is good and upto the mark. Nati Kodi curry is very oily it just floating. Very spicy . Not skinless chicken. Totally disappointed. Quantity is very less. Overhyped restraunt. I am a vegetarian, so I tasted only veg food. I liked the food. The service, though, isn't really appreciable. The waiters just try to dodge away always. They just take the order and vanish. Any add-on needed? Good luck with calling a waiter. Also, the way they have distributed their services through the 3 floors is not uniform. The third floor is always crowded. Probably, they should plan differently.

Very worst service. The rude behaviour of 2nd floor staff needs to be stopped. Though we had free seats, asked to wait for 10 mins. After the wait also they were not ready to clean the table. They were cleaning another table where no customer is there. The manager/supervisor who looked like incharge of that floor was also super rude. We did not eat there, just walked away. I have visited Zamindari restaurant 3 times, tasted their famous unlimited combo with three types of starters and two types of biriyani out of which chicken kebab and Andra chicken became my favourite biriyani it was okay, I noticed some strong spice smell which stops to have the next bite. My go to place if I feel like eating some really tasty biryani, specially their Special Chicken Boneless biryani. I have been to this place a lot of times and I can’t forget to mention my most favourite dish Andhra chicken ghee roast, one of the best and unique taste I even had. I just love it. Even their chicken main course, naan etc are quite good. They have started serving Bamboo biryani as well The staffs are quite courteous as well. A good place to visit.

It's a nice place that does give Zamindar feels... The quantity and the taste is really good. They charge you extra for food wastage which I personally think is a good initiative. The staff is well mannered and cater immediately st your service.

Visited this place for lunch today. I somehow feel things were not organised properly. Service was very late. In combo we got chicken dum biryani, boneless chicken biryani and as starters we got chicken kabab, hongkong chicken, chicken fry. Technically it's one biryani and 4 starters. Biryani rice in both dum and boneless biryanis are the same. Boneless chicken in biryani was good. Hongkong chicken and chicken fry were average and kabab was pathetic.

We ordered both veg and non veg. Non veg food was good. In veg starters were not good. Gobi manchrian and corn chilli was disappointing. Overall we had a great experience. This place was worth the money. I'll recommend you to go here

Nonsense concept they have started of unlimited buffet food is not even worth 150rs... All the chicken items are worst and mutton keema biryani disaster dish in 399 combo only the veg items was ok... But overall my recommendation for the people please do not visit this zamindar restaurant because after having lunch I had a food poison and I admitted in hospital and I have paid 10000rs bills..

We tried non-veg unlimited combo of Rs.299 which comes with 2 starters and 2 biriyani. Totally waste of money because the taste of food was worst and chicken wasn't fried properly and it tasted like sugary. My suggestion is to don't select this hotel for non veg combo

We ordered non veg combo rs 299/-we got 2 starters and 2 types of biriyani.The starters were chicken kabab with bone and chilly chicken with bone. Two types of Biriyani they served it was hyderabadi biriyani and chicken boneless biriyani, food was unlimited.There is no parking place there you have to park your vehicle in pocket road somewhere nearby.

Here u can get Rs299 unlimited non-veg and it's worth the price. There are 3 starters and 2 types of Biriyani. Starters and Biriyani is unlimited, even taste is good. Even there isn't any time restriction so u can enjoy ur food as long as u can and can spend ur time. There is one more option of Rs399 which is 23 varities including mutton.

I have visited this 399 buffet restaurant from Chennai. Once i ordered the food and the food which they served to me are not good it was really worst and pathetic which I have never ever gone through anywhere. I was really angry on this restaurant. The food was also no good taste. And I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Please don't visit this restaurant.

The quality of food was not good, we had ordered mutton biryani and had chicken pieces in it. Chicken starters were bad, the restaurant used the same dishes that were served in the 299 unlimited buffet no matter what you ordered.

Refilling needs to be done without customer bringing in to notice; kabab shud not be stuffed with more of lump masala filled instead of chicken meat; Deserts cud be better if additional option is given to select

This restaurant is very nice and peaceful, good place for family. Food was very nice and taste was great. Staf name Mohan was very friendly and very cool person.Attends you with smile on face always. Please visit once to experience the service.

very tasty Biryani. We visited this place on Saturday for Dinner and had a very nice experience. For Vegetarians, there is a Vegetarian Thali with a lot of dishes. There is also Boneless Biryani which is very delicious. The vegetarian thali has many items and the taste is quite authentic.
