One of the worst place I have ever been. I booked 3 night and ended up staying not even one day. The place is so isolated that most of taxi drivers don't take you there or are just confuse. There is MOLD in the bathroom, a lot of blood strain on the bedsheets that makes you think the place isn't that clean and there is bedbugs in some places. Because the place is surrounded by green, the mosquitoes are gonna eat you up in your sleep ( yes they come into your room and the hostel doesn't have no mosquitoes protection,they don't provide towels, the room is shared and very hot.) The dorms aren't separated by no curtains so you have zero privacy, there is no space to put your stuff so you kinda have to leave everything there. I asked for lunch and had plenty of time but the reception told me they didn't got much and he ( the reception that is also the manager and the cook) told me he can do something quick like it was his house and not a hostel. Zero professionalism. I had the worst experience of my life and I've been traveling for a long time. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I dont know why the comments seemed good but the reality is that this hostel looks like a frat dorm of a university.

Estoy haciendo un viaje en moto por Sudamérica y reservé este hostal a través de booking, no soy de quedarme en un hostal pero decidí quedarme en base a las críticas, sin embargo cuando llegué al lugar la recepcionista, una persona extremadamente Chica grosera, no me permitió ver la habitación de antemano. Para cerrar, pero decidí correr el riesgo y pagué, cuando llegué a la habitación, hacía mucho calor, hay un ventilador en el fondo de la habitación. , como era una habitación grande debería haber habido 2 ventiladores, hacía muchísimo calor y era imposible quedarme allí, volví a recepción y le pedí a la recepcionista que me diera un reembolso para poder buscar otro alojamiento, el extremadamente grosero y grosero recepcionista dijo que no se podía hacer y que si quería podía poner una queja a través de booking o google, en fin pagué por un lugar en no me quedé ni 1 hora, TERRIBLE, NO LO RECOMIENDO TAMBIEN A MI ENEMIGO

My group of 4 had a fantastic two nights at Zion Beach House! The location is perfect, right on the beach, but only 15 minutes cab ride to Cartagena’s Old Town and the main tourist sites. Beat and the whole staff were extremely helpful with arranging things to do and were a ton of fun! They even arranged to drop off some items that we forgot at our next destination. Our private room was clean and spacious, and the food was amazing! If you are lucky enough to get the Cuban sandwiches as the daily special, order at least two! Sunset yoga on the beach was a nice treat as well. Just a heads up that it’s currently cash only, but there’s an ATM five minutes down the road. Hope to be back again to try the kitesurfing one day!

I stayed here for a couple days and had such a good time! This hostel is very pretty, right on the beach, and has a great restaurant. All the meals they offered were so delicious and the staff was very nice and chill, too. The beds in the dorm were comfy enough and the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Being right on the beach was perfect. Also it’s outside of Cartagena so it felt kind of remote while at the same time there were some other hotels and locals nearby. Basically I was very content and at ease staying here and will definitely come again in the future!

This beach house is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway relatively close to Cartagena. I loved the secluded and quiet beach away from vendors. The delicious food cooked by Chef Jan. The Spanish classes hosted by Nelson. And the overall warmth and welcome energy from the entire staff. We also had a lovely time partying in the city with other guests. Highly recommend this hostel!

I stayed at Zion Beach House in Cartagena for 1 night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent food and also the bed in the dorm was really comfortable with an own and clean bathroom. Right in front of a quiet beach is it a perfect time-out from the busy city life. I spent my evening with watching the sunset in one of the hammocks and playing cards with all the other guests and staff. The friendly and openly staff and owner made me feel like I was in the home of a friend and not as a guest, what I really appreciated. I regret having only been here one night so I'll be back soon!!

Perfect vacations in Zion! I spent a few days at the hostal and loved my stay!! The private room was really nice, very comfy with new mattresses, clean and with a beautiful view on the ocean. The chef cooked delicious food and we always had a vegetarian option as well for breakfast. I spent cool evenings drinking a beer while watching the sunset from the hammock. I totally recommend this place if you wanna spend your holidays at the beach. Can’t wait to go back! Gracias Team Zion

¡Realmente disfruté mi estadía en la casa de playa de Zion! En primer lugar, la ubicación es perfecta, ¡justo en la playa! Zion Beach House is truly a hidden paradise :) You can have something to eat or drink at the bar, hang out or have a chat at one of the sofa corners and there are also hammocks for pure relaxation, and the beach is only two steps away. Also the food is just amazing, every dish is really good, special and diverse. I can warmly recommend the hostel to anyone who wants good vibes, to meet nice people, to eat well and just to enjoy life! :)

Zion is the perfect place for those traveling solo or as a couple and are willing to become part of the Zion family :) it’s the perfect environment with tons of space to just chill and kick back with similar minded people. You won't want to leave this little paradise. The beach house is so peacefully located while being very close to Cartagena. Excellent and friendly staff! Who made our stay very pleasant! The hostel is clean and well presented with a lovely outdoor area! The main dorm room has a late balcony with amazing sea view! Food here is cooked fresh by the wonderful Alejandro and if you have any food allergies he will gladly cater for you! The food is sooo amazing and delicious and reasonably priced! Zion fue maravillosa la experiencia. Desde nuestra llegada el personal fue muy amable y nos ayudaron con todo lo que necesitamos en todo momento. Las habitaciones están muy bien, limpias y cómodas. El lugar es tranquilo, tiene una playa espectacular y privada. La ubicación es buena si buscas alejarte de la multitud y tener descanso, pero no es tan buena si quieres estar cerca al centro de Cartagena. La atención es muy buena, no tenemos quejas al respecto, solo nos pareció que el desayuno que venia incluido era muy poco. Mi pareja pidió un sándwich y le dieron dos panes crudos con aguacate y huevo. Esperábamos mas la verdad. Pero la cena de la noche anterior si fue generosa y deliciosa

Had an amazing 3 weeks here! Really good spot to relax at an empty beach and relax. The food is amazing (!!) and the atmosphere feels like a small Zion Beach House Family! The rooms are clean and have an amazing view and balcony! AC and fans! If you like to kitesurf, there is a rental/school in the hostel! The city is 20 min by taxi, if you book one through the hostel it's only 20.000 COP. Definitely recommend to stay here a couple of days and relax!

Ever since I got there I felt such a fam vibe, everyone is always in a great mood and the areas are comfortable, you can spend your whole day in the hammocks. The chef is gold, his food is delicious. Cold beverages all the time. You can’t say no to a cold beer! The volunteers are friendly, respectful and so talented! Great place!

It's an amazing hostel directly at the beach. It's completely new built, i had a breathtaking sea view from my bed in the dorm. And we enjoyed the sunsets from the balcony or the terrace. The hostel is really familial, we ate every evening with the owners and volunteers together. The food was freaking amazing, the best food i had in colombia. I learned how to kite surf with the school which is in the same house. I could completely recommend it!

Awesome hostel right in front of a beautiful and quiet beach. They have very delicious food in their restaurant. There’s no kitchen available, but I didn’t miss it because they have great options. I enjoyed every single meal. The staff is very friendly and I met some pretty cool people at the hostel. If you’re looking for a quiet beach away from the hustle of the city center of Cartagena, this is it.

Excelente lugar para relajarse! Muy tranquilo, la comida deliciosa, y el personal super amable. La gente que viene a hospedarse o solo en busca de buena comida o algo de tomar son bien amigables y además es una gran ventaja tener una escuela de kitesurf al lado! Enfin, recomiendo mucho ara hospedarse. Y los atardeceres increíbles! Y el mar siempre está bueno, ya sean las 5 de la mañana o medianoche.

This was by far my favorite hostel in Colombia! It's located right on a fairly secluded beach and is a great place to relax or learn to kite surf. Lunch and dinner are served at the same time each day which makes for a family meal of sorts with the other travelers. I was lucky to make a number of new friends during my time there. The food is also delicious. I highly recommend staying here!

Planeé pasar una noche y terminé quedándome tres. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa y tienen excelentes opciones vegetarianas. Tienes la playa completamente para ti y tienen increíbles hamacas para relajarte. ¡La impresionante vista directamente desde mi cama y el yoga al atardecer fueron definitivamente mis mejores momentos!
