Once again another very negative bowling experience, after Richlands and the sauna like conditions there last week. I decided I would get some practice in at Mt Gravatt, used to bowl there regularly, what could go wrong. 31c and 35% humidity outside you would expect it to be nice and cool inside. Wrong, half way into the first game sweating up a storm. Second game as it got hotter, staff had dragged a pedestal fan into the service area to try and get relief. I spoke with one member who said, worse in the kitchen. Other patrons were using the vent on the ball return to blow air under their shirts to try and cool off like myself. The staff I spoke to were professional and could not apologise enough. Appalling for a sports business, one center with aircon failure is understandable, multiple is poor business. I would consider bowling anywhere but Zone Bowling at Mt Gravatt, at this point, If you are looking to have a party or escape the heat contact your chosen center through socials and confirm the aircon is working properly before booking.

Apart from lane bookings and shoe hire as a package deal, the cafe was lacking service. Wait time from 45 mins to 1h just for chips, I was told. I now still have 2 food vouchers worth $10 each to be used within 7 days. We couldn’t wait 1h or more for the food and lived quite far away, to throw away $20. There was no advise of alternatives offered. Very disappointing first visit. In these hard times of covid lockdowns, neither the business nor the customers should be disadvantaged either way. The food vouchers could be given an extended date rather than limited to 7 days. That’s unfair to have paid up and then denied service. The chips / food were overpriced anyways. Perhaps the food voucher could be used when u come back for the next game. I will advise anyone who bought the $29 package, to order your cooked food as you arrive /begin your games.

It was a disappointing experience. We purchased 3 games of bowling and we were asked 5 times if we wanted bumper lanes. None of the balls were in order, most were in the empty lanes not put back. When we ordered food via the app, we waited at least 15-20mins. The people next to us received their food before us despite us ordering 1st and when my partner tried to ask the girl when she delivered theirs, she just ignored her and walked off. When my partner went up to enquiry about the delay at the cafe, the same girl was so rude & snapped “yeah what do you want?”. When the food did arrive, it was cold. Everyone there seemed like they hated their job & life except for the man who I believe was the manager, he was the only friendly person to us. We won’t ever come to this Zone bowling again.

Our visit to Zone Bowling was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the incredible team of Holly, Dom, Byron, and Aaron! From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with warm smiles and ensured we had a fantastic time. Their expertise in providing guidance and tips for improving our bowling skills was invaluable. The facility itself was top-notch, with well-maintained lanes and a great selection of games and amenities. We left feeling thoroughly entertained and already planning our next visit. Kudos to Holly, Dom, Byron, and Aaron for their exceptional service and creating a memorable experience!

Terrible customer service Shoes were broken We had asked for a refund before playing the games because we had seen the shoes and other red flags. They said that they could refund us 8 dollars each back which is not okay since it was 28$ for 2 games per person. I will not be visiting this place again hopefully they can give a professional apology instead of an automated apology response completely off topic of my point. Hopefully this place has a rise again one day.

Cafe service is extremely slow bordering on incompetent. 45 mins for hotdog, had finished bowling completely. There was not enough staff at prize counter, took 25 minutes just to be served. The most frustrating experience ever. Mega pass the kids play for no point other than playing, tickets won mean nothing as they get standard 250 with the pass. Staffing is poor altogether and made for a poor experience.

Grace was so helpful and kind, she assisted us with our food last minute for our big group and was very clear and quick to help us. Patty was also really nice and helped organise our large group to our lanes and ensured everything was ready for us, even after we changed our number last minute. The team was great and we had an enjoyable night because of their awesome work.

It was a busy Friday night, so I guess its to be expected the place would be packed and loud. The staff were able to get us on a lane immediately without any waiting, so that was good. However all the bowling balls seemed to have very small finger hole sizes, so we couldn't hold them properly. It was everything you would expect in a ten pin bowling place I guess.

The kids had a great time ! our Host Breanna was fun and made the party run smoothly. She was very engaging and we loved how she was so personable with the kids and adults. I commend her work ethic and vibe. It’s not often you come across such a beautiful person like her who really shines at her job and makes it look like she’s having a blast while doing it.

Not as hectic as the bowling at Garden City. A bit more relaxed. Didn't have the greatest selection of larger adult ball but eventually found one to suit. Food was pretty good but took a while but I put that down to being a little understaffed in that area. Kids enjoyed the arcade after a bowl. Overall a pretty good evening out with the family.

Whilst the staff behind the main counter were friendly and efficient, staff at the cafe were lazy and uninterested. Jugs of soft drink (about 3 or 4 small cups worth at best) cost as much as the bowling. Air con was NOT on either, just old ceiling fans, which made it uncomfortable, stuffy and hot to bowl.

The staff at zone were so friendly and accommodating for my kid's birthday! They went out of their way to make it a fun and exciting night and were so kind to our kids. Nothing was too much trouble and they added so much to make it a super experience. Many thanks Zone at Mt Gravatt!! You're all awesome.

Angie was so amazing to deal with! She looked after us from the moment we walked in. Went above and beyond for us and would check up on us to make sure we were all good. The service was incredible! Would recommend everyone going to zone bowling at mt Gravatt! And when you’re there ask for Angie!

Rude workers, gave us wrong food and got snappy when we asked for the other food. Was taking like 20 minutes and when I asked if our chips were nearly ready they were mad. Other people got their food before my group yet ours was a smaller order, Also the machines barely work.

Our group had a great time until Lane 24 pinsetter started having issues which slowed down the game a bit. We didn’t bother to inform customer service but we figured out how to solve the problem. It happened a couple of times though. We would still come back in the future.

Kind staff to kids and adults. Nothing seems to be a problem when asking for assistance. Kitchen staff are pleasant and the food is surprisingly unbelievable. You guys deserve a good review. Thanks for looking after my nephew and all of his friends.

This was to be the staff Christmas party and the event was marred by regular equipment breakdown in lanes 19 & 20 finally one of the games was transferred to lane 21 as the repairs were taking far too long. It was a very frustrating expeerience.

A good place for Bowling and great place to enjoy. Kids love this place and the games they have. They need to add more games. Generally, they have good deals for school holidays. Kids enjoys this place. And they supply good food too.

We had a great time. The bowling alley was great and the staff were great. The palce was a little dated and it would be nice to see a better selection of balls as i need XL which they onyl had in 14 weight, which is too heavy.

Standard bowling place. There are a lot of aisles so many people can play, and seating is quite good here. The staff are decently friendly. Not really different to any other bowling places, but there isn’t anything bad to say!

I was here recently and had the BEST experience. The staff were great - especially Minnie & Angie, they were super lovely. And the food was very tasty! 10/10 recommend, and will most definitely be back here some time soon!

Really friendly staff and welcoming environment. Some of the shelving was broken and the bumpers didn’t work properly in our lane - so place could do with some more $$ but it does add the old school charm- mr6 loved it

I went to Zone Bowling on Sunday and the service was great. Sophie was lovely and she was very helpful and explained the game cards well. The rest of the staff were lovely, they greet every customer with a smile.

The best party for kids of any age. Our coordinator Breanna was fantastic and made sure that we received the best service throughout the whole party. Fantastic place. I cannot recommend this place enough !

Great place, but it would be great to have more choice in bowling balls, as the holes in the balls are too small, and your fingers get stuck ... it's very frustrating. The staff are super friendly though.
