The greenery is beautiful. There's enough space. It doesn't get hectic on Sundays. The boats were available and affordable. That experience was absolutely amazing. I wish the restaurant was open. I also loved the basketball courts. It's really an amazing place for romantic dates, celebrations, braais, outing...

Lovely picnic facilities. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. That's very surprising knowing its open to the public. We spent the Saturday morning there from 9 to 1pm. It does get busy after 1 as many more folks rock up for picnics and braai's. Park is patrolled by the CPF. Will go again.

Great place to chill with family and friends! Could have a walk or a run. Good spots for a braai and activities, rowing etc, Or have a good meal and drinks at Moyos if you prefer chilling indoors. Either way it's one of the best spots around!

The park and picnic area around the artificial lake is a little bit in disrepute, look like Park and Recreation is not maintaining the garden or the plants and the walkways are filthy. People are having picnics and parties on the lawn area

About this place i really want to say that the place is amazing specially lake aria.. but park aria need more attention, people's and visitors are not following the rules and regulations as specially not to litter anywhere.. Ahh.

Nice place. Went for the Palestine solidarity march. Unfortunately a lot of the grass areas are very dirty with a lot of litter and beer bottles. Almost no clean area to picnic on a late Sunday morning.

Nice place, canoeing was nice. Rated 3 stars as this place does not take card payments. I'm not from the province, and I had to drive more than 3 km to the nearest ATM

It's one of my favourite spot in Johannesburg. Nice park to go for a walk and you can even take your dog with you. Can see lots of people jogging and cycling there.

Good for a walk or run during the week or early morning on the weekend. But, sadly, later on weekend days it's full of revellers leaving litter.

The Park still looks beautiful however it’s standard is deteriorating fast. We arrived to a park that was full of so much litter everywhere.

Zoo lake has a lot of activities from canoeing to sports activities. The park is good for picnics as well but there is limited braaing areas

A very cool and chilled Lake, really enjoyed myself last Sat with my family. Definitely appropriate for braai, pick Nic dates.

Vast park space with lots of walking to do, picnicking and braai areas. Gets a bit crowded especially during weekends.

Great place to chill , was packed on the 16th of December but made it even more fun to be around people.

Other than boating around the lake there's very little to do. Park is small. Monday boating is closed.
