Update after posting review: I have been contacted by the customer support team saying that it is been looking after. I got call from the store manager last week asking about the issue. Further a week from that, today, I was contacted by the store manager, his empathy towards my complaint was very helpful. He assured this was an unfortunate event and further steps to avoid these issues are being taken along with reinforced training on customer service. Thanks to the store manager for taking steps and BP customer management service to assist in enquiring this issue for investigation. I believe we all should be look as human rather than stereotyping based on personal experiences. I have visited Bp, Engadine 4:30pm, 26th June 2022. One of my mate had phone on his hand. The staff member put a radio announcement saying to put the phone down. ( which I realised later) My mate did that. While paying I had a bad encounter with the cashier. I am person of colour living in Australia for 6 years now. This is really unexpected. The conversation below happened “ I asked what she said on the announcement on the radio” she said it’s about the phone usage. I said I read somewhere in internet that modern petrol pump does not cause that risk, I said in a normal voice also mentioning that I may be wrong. After that the person raised voice at me screaming that the reason for phone being not allowed is for distraction. I told that” it is not for distraction, it is about the frequency that emits from the phone, and has a potential risk of ignition” After that she started shouting at me and my mate saying this is the brochure if I have issues I can tell that on the number” i said why are you getting hyper and raising your voice and shouting at me and my mate” Following I asked for the person’s name, and I was constantly being refused and person keep getting aggressively pushing the brochure and saying to complain whatever I need on the number, and later showing that’s the door by pointing at it. I called the number as it’s Sunday it wasn’t operating. Following that I gave a call on the bp Engadine number to confirm the name if I am complaining about the right person. As per receipt, the person after asking if this is the person’s name, the person hang up on me. I needed to know the name for confirmation as it’s needed to be addressed for complaint issue, I do not want to address the name wrong. It is really unexpected to face this in 2022, it is very disgraceful. I never expect BP employees to be this rude and disrespectful to customers. I am requesting BP to properly train employees on multiculturalism and to review this person’s behaviour. I usually do not complain unless it hits me to a personal extent.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The only two encounters I have had with the employee manning the overnight counter have been not only unpleasant, unsatisfactory, and an unbearably painful waste of my time, but on the most recent occasion also resulted in being out of pocket of my own money due to the employees’ mistake. Originally, this employee accused my boyfriend and I of “behaving suspiciously” for coming in after midnight for snacks — which we chose not to buy due to his terrible service — to the point where he noted down our numberplate and watched us from his window until we left. This evening, I ordered a 2-for-1 ice cream deal for this truckstop via UberEats, and the employee accepted my order immediately, only to tell me when I arrived to pick it up that the deal was “too good” to give to me. He refused to accept accountability for his mistake, then had me wait while he spent 30 minutes on the phone with UberEats to cancel my order, as well as asked for my driver’s license with all of my personal details on it — all for the purchase of ICE CREAM — when this all could have been avoided by him simply not accepting the order in the first place. UberEats then informed me that had the employee updated the truckstop menu, as is his responsibility, the deal would not have been present on the app — however, I can only assume that considering we had to ring the doorbell to even get his attention when we arrived, in addition to all of the above, this employee is not particularly good at their job.

Wish I could give zero stars if possible, after a busy day moving houses I stopped at this BP with my mate at 21:00 on 17/10/21 just wanting to get a slurpee. When the lady at the counter was just pointing for us to sign in doors all locked, my camera is broken so I can't sign in. My mate signed me in as a dependent with all my details and I am double vaccinated but this wasn't good enough for her. The lady at the counter was that lazy and just assumed that I didn't want to sign in when done so as a dependent if this is what you call customer service you guys need to have a long hard look at your employees. She didn't even open a window tor wonder why she just pointed to her phone.

We stopped off here because of the David Jones Food collab. It’s similar to what Marks and Spencer Foodhall do in the UK and it’s awesome to have this sort of thing rolled out here in Oz. This BP is a bit on the smaller side but it packs a punch, there is so much of the David Jones food on offer. There is also a coffee bar and selection of toasties etc that can be heated on request for immediate consumption. The DJ food includes ready meals that just need to be heated like soups, pizza etc - it’s not frozen and has a short shelf life because it’s fresh fridge food. There is also DJs snacks, bakery, chocolate etc as well as packed salads and sandwiches. It’s pretty great.

Pretty disappointing experience on several visits. Was really looking forward to visiting since reopening under the David Jones collaboration. Food selection is amazing and the David Jones Food offering is amazing. The not so amazing is the service and wait times. On two occasions we waited 10+ minutes for coffee despite being one of the only people waiting. There is no urgency, and for a busy location they will struggle in peak travel times. Coffee is subpar too, has been burnt on both times. Don’t waste your time or money here.

The lady behind the desk told me she liked my jacket (Depactus 'Ravine' men's spray jacket (XL), dark green). Petrol a little expensive but always tastes fresh. Really makes you think.

I've been getting my petrol here for years. New staff are all wonderful & store is looking great after refurb. P.s. thanks for always reminding me about my BP rewards card!

  • Eb Ray

Petrol prices are just ridiculous, not only this business but unfortunately all of them. The coffee is cheap tho if you need a quick pick me up on the way to work

Absolutely disappointing, rubbish everywhere as bins full, squeegee busted and no water and soap in bucket. Toilet a health hazard so disgusting.

A well located servo just before turning onto Heathcote Road. Only problem I have is that their tyre air station no longer works properly
