I decided to put my house on the market last year in July, after realising I needed a change of pace and lifestyle. I decided to use JDM, and from the very start when Sam, their Sales Manager came to visit I knew instantly it was the right decision. Within 10 days the house was on the market and within no time I got an offer which I accepted. This was early August and unknown to us it would be the start of a nightmare. Myself and JDM anticipated a quick sale due to the short chain, however in Oct we found out the buyers online conveyancers, DC Law had lost the buyers completed forms which caused a huge delay. Next thing we knew, DC Law was involved in a huge cyber attack in November and we were pushed back another 7-8 weeks. By this time it was Christmas and we were nowhere near exchange or completion. Throughout this time I went through a tremendous amount of stress, physically, mentally and financially. Plus, I was not working and unable to pay my mortgage, and receiving repossession letters monthly.. However, throughout all those horrendous months that went by, JDM stood by me. One person in particular was Trish. She helped me through so many barriers and was so understanding, patient and caring towards me. She was always on hand and was full of care and empathy for the situation. Not only was she tremendous in her support, she was also fair & firm when dealing with all the legalities and unprofessional delays by companies, who in my opinion, should not have even been trading in conveyancing. All the months went by, then when it got to February and nothing had even changed, I took the bold decision to pull the sale from my buyer and re-market the house. Thanks to Sam and George in the sales team the house was resold within 3 weeks. Once again, the sale was passed over to Trish who again became my 'go-to' person and she was AMAZING. She did everything on point, whether it be with the buyers agent or their solicitor, she was there making sure everything went smoothly, and I could not thank her enough. After 13 weeks we exchanged and got our completion date for the end of June and we were all ecstatic. I popped by especially to show my thanks with some cakes for all the staff and a bouquet of flowers for Trish to show how much I appreciated her, as a person, plus all her hard work. JDM Estate Agents Petts Wood : Top team ! We recently completed the purchase of a property in Chislehurst/Petts Wood/Orpington area for which JDM were the vendor's estate agents. We as buyers had a very positive experience with JDM Estate Agents throughout the process - before our offer was accepted as well as from Trish from their Sales Progression team whom we interacted quite a lot after our offer was accepted all the way to the completion. Before our offer was accepted, we were shown the property properly and without hurry by their Sales team (Chloe, Tiffany, Thomas and Sam) and Lisa , who re-arranged the viewings to suit our schedule. They were also very efficient in getting queries answered by the vendor. When there were multiple offers for the property, Lina from their admin team ran a clear 'best and final offer' process. One thing we liked very much about the team structure at JDM was that they have a separate function for 'sales progression' - who got going after our offer is accepted. Trish from this team was so helpful and reassuring through the 3 months it took to complete the purchase. She was very reassuring even when our buyers pulled out at a late stage . She was super-efficient in getting queries answered from the vendor and kept all parties informed. She was crucial in keeping the chain going and eventually us completing the purchase successfully. Even though in this instance we were buyers (so JDM were not our agents), from all the professional and top-quality interactions we have had with the JDM PettsWood team, I will not hesitate to recommend them for your property transactions.

Absolutely shocked at the service my family and I have received from JDM Petts Wood especially from Suzanne Fisher and the landlord for the property; 14 Oakwood Close, Chistlehurst. My family and I viewed the beautiful property and put an offer in straight away as I am 38 weeks pregnant and wanted a new family home before the baby arrives. The same evening Suzanne, asked for my family's details (full names, d.o.b and addresses') then we were then told the next day by JDM that the landlord will not be going forward with the offer as he had gone and done some personal background checks of his own PRIOR to us being referenced by the estate agents and the landlord had made his decision not to go forward due to comments and remarks he had seen online about my partner. So firstly, protocol wasn't followed where by we should of been referenced by the estate agents not the landlord. We all know how notorious the internet can be at destroying anybody in a matter of seconds! How could a landlord let alone JDM allow a landlord to make a decision based on a forum from the internet that could be set up by a 11 year old in their bedroom? Do not use JDM Lettings or Suzanne Fisher - you will be disappointed.

JDM were fantastic throughout our house moving process, from start to finish. We accidentally stumbled across a house we fell in love with and we were therefore totally unprepared when it came to getting ours on the market. We contacted JDM as they were acting for the vendor of the house we were looking to purchase. They gave us excellent initial advice, had our house on the market within 3 days and arranged for an open house the following weekend. We eventually sold for the full asking price, after just under a week! If that wasn’t good enough, the sales Co-ordinator, Trish, was outstanding in her support throughout the transaction. She was a Rottweiler (but in a good way!), chasing down delays and helping to solve (our many!) issues along the whole chain. Her communication was second to none, always providing updates and being proactive to ensure the transaction remained on track. I truly believe the chain would have failed on a number of occasions if it hadn’t been for her customer service. Thank you very much Trish! I can fully recommend JDM and the team to anyone wanting to buy or sell a property.

The best estate agents without hesitating from A to Z. We tried two others nearby and none of them equaled the quality of work you get from JDM. In less than three months our house was sold and we had so many quality viewings in the meantime! Then the painful part started... we were trapped in a chain of 7 households and the transaction has been unexpectedly very difficult, it required a real sense of diplomacy as well as a great amount of energy and commitment to constantly chase and follow up along the chain - and this over an extended period of 7 months! Trish was always extremely prompt to react, always there to give updates and advice and she really went the extra mile(s) for us until we all knew what was actually going on in this chain. She would not give up and we felt we could really count on her to make it work. Trish has played a crucial role as a sales coordinator in making this sale a success. Apologies, it took me almost 3 months to write this review but I was determined to share my experience with prospective clients who might work with JDM (Petts Wood) branch for a purchase or sale of a property. My wife and I were first time buyers who were clueless about how the home buying process works especially for someone who is an expat. Must admit that JDM were not the first agency we interacted with but they certainly were the best! Lisa and her team were always on the ball and ensured that they gave us all the necessary information and guidance (within their remit & beyond) in making this experience a smooth and memorable one. It almost felt like having a dedicated/personalised team to address our queries from time to time. They did a superb job of it. I purchased a property through JDM and the experience was nothing but positive. Trying to sell my property through a different agent was hard and I could tell the difference in service immediately. If JDM were in my area then I would have used them to sell my property too. It was a tricky drawn out process from my end but JDM were excellent at keeping things moving and dealing with Trish was really great and she was extremely good at keeping things on track and she was very good and chasing people on my end too to keep things moving along. If I decide to sell my property in the future then JDM will be my estate agent of choice.

Worst experience with an estate agent. This branch is completely disorganised from the manager down. Complaints are left undealt with for months, and then only handled when senior partners get involved. Staff are rude and hostile. There is no consistency - everyone you call/email you'll get a different response from a different person contradicting everything else that has been advised. I would have given just one star, but there are a few members of staff who obviously care about their work and clients so the second star is for them.

(Jordan) have being so amazing from the very first day he spoke to me on the phone regarding the property in Chislehurst, I can not thank you enough for your understanding, kindness and proffessionalism. Also after I spoke to Suzanne I concluded that they are absolutely the best Estate agent in uk. Her mannerism is from the top draw. Disrespectful and unprofessional. Cancelled a viewing with 45 mins notice, without even flinch I, while I was en route with pregnant wife and 8 month old baby, having taken a morning off of work. Claimed they couldn’t have possibly let me know sooner. If you believe that then you aren’t trying hard enough as it isn’t acceptable to cancel something planned in and agreed at such short notice.

Great customer service, professional and proactive in completing the sale before the end of the stamp duty holiday. I was very disappointed with other estate agents in the area, JDM was far superior to the rest. They were happy to answer any questions during the sale. Very prompt communication. Pretty bad experience, buying through JDM Petts wood, was told property was chain free which turned out to be untrue just before exchange. This led to the purchase nearly falling through. Very poor customer service and generally rude on the phone with harassing phone calls. Would never buy or sell another property through this company again.
