I recently went to this store and was appalled by the customer service. Who I assume to be the manager was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional, very short and vague in her responses when I needed assistance. She was entirely dismissive. Not only that, but I happened to overhear the way she was speaking to her younger staff. She makes comments on their appearances and was constantly demoralising the method in which they were doing things — openly yelling at them very harshly in front of her customers, even despite the fact they seemed new and were still learning. I don’t usually make reviews but had to especially for this agency, because I have never seen someone manage a company so poorly and with so little respect for her employees.

Absolutely hopeless in customer service & care! They offered to contact me 5 times after I asked if a particular magazine was in 5 times over a period of months. I then saw the release of the rare magazine on Instagram & waited a week- nothing! Went in today & checked & there it was on the stand. I mentioned it to the 2 blondes at the register who insisted they don’t contact people when things come in! REALLY??? Why bother?

Customer service by the new old Caucasian woman is not good. She needs to be retrained to know the value of customer service and how it impacts the whole business as well. Hope this will help the management to improve the attitude of the staffs especially new ones.

The original store, where Bird's Nest is now, was better. The current one is well-stocked (though you may need to ask the staff for help finding some specific item) but in a smaller space, hence not a lot of room.

Great store. Expert and considerate staff. Newsagency plus sells stamps, stationery, some gifts, soaps, chocolates. Love it.
