Worst return experience. i bought an order via online and wanted to return at Southland store . I went two days in last week and week before to return the items to Southland Shopping centre . I accidentally mentioned that i paid from my paypal account. I gave my email address. Then i relised i payed via gift card and a credit card . The manager named Steph said i need to open a paypal account and get refunds to that email address . I refused to do so .She sent me home saying she will not refund until they get refund back from Finance dpt , I went again to the store on last week Thursday before easter Friday . I was told she did not hear from finance yet and sent me ack home . She said she will call me on last Tuesday to update.But no response yet . Money is stuck on my credit card where i cannot use as she is not processing the refund. I am very reluctant to go to the store every week basis with the virus situation . Worst customer service experience . do not deal with this store.

REBEL SPORT……. SOUTHLAND……. SPENCER……. Hi guys, check it out, I went into Rebel Sport Southland today and I had the BEST customer service I’ve ever had… The sales guy explained some thing to me and OMG I went on to buy 2 pairs of the very best runners / joggers most comfortable footwear I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing…. I’ve had trouble wearing footwear for 10 years after a workplace accident left me with an extremely painful foot / leg… So checkout the NEW BALANCE footwear I brought today… Ironically I’m newly balanced because of a REBEL SPORT SOUTHLAND Sales guy….

I am absolutely appalled with the customer service, particularly of two female staff, and am very upset with my most recent visit. I went in with a friend, looking to help her buy some sportswear and we were accused of stealing and asked very odd questions which were, frankly, none of their business! It’s one thing to accuse and make someone feel guilty, but another to be making snobby remarks about the items in my personal belongings! I do not plan on visiting again after my disgusting experience. Lose the attitude girls, it’s not going to get you anywhere.

Extremely poor service at this rebel. I wanted to return a $300 pair of boots after wearing them for only six times, and was told it was ‘not our problem’, despite me buying them from there. After calling the shoe supplier (ADIDAS), I was told it was rebel or should be looking after this issue as they had sold them to me. Lesson for all-do not buy your boots or runners through a retailer like this. They will not honour anything to do with product failure, ensure you go through the brand you wish to buy. Eg. Adidas store in this case.

Great new layout, bright and spacious. Lots of staff on hand to provide us with expert advice. Special mention to Mitchell T who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We needed to buy therabands and the variety was enormous. Mitchell helped us with pertinent questions and demonstrations of different ways to adjust and incorporate the bands into routines/rehab. We were hugely impressed and grateful for his expert advice! Thanks.

Did a click and collect here. Got a call from a delightful staff member to not only let me know my order was ready but a challenge she was having with an item I bought. Rocked up, and got served by a young chap, Jackson who was super professional in handling the stock problem that was brought to me attention during the call. He went above and beyond, and helped me out. Found the stock, adjusted the price, had me on my way.

Rory was very helpful. He even helped me male a decision. Not pushy at all I felt comfortable buying here I have showed here plenty of tines and will definately be back soon. He is a Great asset to Rebel sports. Girl at counter also friendly and helpful. After a bad customer experience at Jd sports and their staff it was great to see staff at Rebel who cares about their job.

Don't appreciate being given shifty looks because I'm holding a jacket I bought at the store 6 months ago whilst checking out. Pretty sure the employee asked her partner to go alert security. This is absolutely repugnant behaviour. Probably didn't help that I'm not an aussie looking guy. Won't be shopping here ever again. Train your staff properly.

Calling out the brilliant customer service I received over the weekend regarding a pair of faulty shoes. It isn’t the fault of Rebel that the shoes were faulty, and the Rebel Southland team could not have been better in listening to us and organising a replacement pair to be ready for collection at another nearby store.

Rebel's selection of gear is outrageous. If they don't have it you don't need it. But I always struggle to find help here. And I always find there sales items are poorly marked. What I find online for sale and what's marked in the store is usually different. But I still go cause there prices are some of the best.

The only shop at Southland we could find that stocked women's tennis shoes - other shops seemed to think that women playing tennis is a bit too niche. Were able to buy Nike tennis shoes in womens size 11 (which is not that easy) for $99. Great fast service. Will be our go to store next time.

Recently remodelled, this is a much better shopping experience. Although it still has the expected range of generalist products, just more of it. You could generally do better online (pricewise and range-wise) but if you need to pick up something sporty quick, this is the place.

had lovely emma help with a very confusing refund. she was the sweetest girl and very kind to me. i could tell she knew her stuff and she also walked me through the process of the refund as she was doing it. incredible service and i’m very impressed with her. good job emma!!!

Absolute worst customer service. I bought 2 Garmin watches for my kids today, waited by the watches for 20 minutes before I could get help. The people behind the counter kept looking over and then going about their business. I wish I spend the $300 elsewhere to be honest

Best customer service ive had for a long time. I ordered the wrong size shoes online and three separate stores bent over backwards to get me the correct size shoes from the country in a timely fashion. And they rang when they said they were going to ring. Thanks team

My wife was looking to compare smart watches. After visits to several stores that refused to show her any watches not already on display we finally got here where our sales assistant was able to take a model out of the box and let my wife try it on. Great service.

I always receive excellent service at Rebel Southland. The only negative is that I have gone there a couple of times lately and they haven't had my shoe size in stock. If they did I'd have bought two more pairs from there in the last 2 months.

Sports equipment store located on the third level of the Southland shopping center. Large, well spaced, well staffed store that have a large inventory of sports / fitness goods including shoes, clothing, bats, balls, weight lifting equipment.

Rebel is generally a great place to shop and I use t for all my sporting goods however I would avoid the Southland chapter as staff are scarce and don’t seem like they want to help the customer I waited for nearly 15 minutes to be assisted

MITCH WAS A ABSOLUTE GEM!!! he was super amazing, patient and extremely helpful. He even looked up prices of other shoes to try get cheaper. This man deserves a raise and fat block of chocolate. Thankyou so much mitch you are brillaint !!!!

Bought something online which was delivered on 12 feb, i wasnt home so the driver left, after a week of calling couriers please and rebel sport service, several so called investigations later my package will finally be left at my door

What an outstanding team. I needed to get numbers put on a footy jumper at very short notice and these guys could not have been more helpful or professional. I now have one very happy eleven year old ready for tonight's footy match!

Often shop here. Staff are great, selection of goods and prices are about as good as anywhere else. Easy to find within the centre. Parking at the centre can often be painful but that's no drawback of going to Rebel itself.

Customer Service was Awesome! I spoke with 2 floor staff and a manager and each was amazing when I had issues with my watch. Will definitely buy from here in the future with service like that, thanks guys, appreciate it.

Staff need to be better àt queue management. Had one woman barge right in front of me in the very clearly labelled click and collect lane to process a turn, which the staff attending my queue actually handled.

Good for sports wear and equipment. Helpful staff. But I take 2 points off for their ridiculous charge of $1 for a bag, even if you spend a couple of hundred dollars or more. What an insult to a customer !!

Such great service looking runners. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Stuart was especially great. They also price matched and had way more stock than any other rebel.

Ok without being exceptional. Took far too long to be served. Staff too occupied with themselves but once I found someone, they did well. Do tend to get better service at Mentone Rebel.

Best experience looking for a pair of shoes, Danny one of the shoe sales people was fantastic!. We will definitely go back there to do some of our shopping in the future.

Rebel Sport is a huge sporting store. Covering all the best sport locally. Currently there is a sale going on, quite a few bargains to be found.
