Breach in protection of a client's personal information. I went for a facial. Afterwards I was considering purchasing a cream. The girl who was working let me know that the cream is 20% off the next day. So I told her I will come in the next day if I decide to buy it. She told me that they provide an option where I can call in and they will charge my CC over the phone. I decided not to buy the product. I did not call or go into the store the next day. A couple weeks later I check my credit card statement and I see that they had charged me for the product. I was not notified by email or phone (both were on their file). I didn't pick up the product because I didn't know I was charged. I called the manager to complain. I was given several excuses such as: It was a misunderstanding and that the girl working assumed I wanted my card charged and I would pick up the product; My email was misspelled on file so I was not provided a receipt; Their system might have error-ed and the receipt was not sent; It was very busy on the day they charged my card and the receipt wasn't emailed. I am not happy that my credit card was charged without my verbal or written consent, and especially that I was not notified in any way when it was charged. I will not go back to Skoah. I went because a friend recommended the place (willow park location), and this location was closer to my home (weshills). But the facial was mediocre and my face was very red after the treatment. Then the fact that my credit card was charged without my consent and notification just made the experience even worse.

I’m not one to write reviews (and never have in the past), but feel compelled to in this case. Let me first say, I’ve been using Skoah products for a year now and they are great. The facial experience, however, that I had at the Westhills location was anything but. After explicitly stating that I wanted an experienced service provider when booking an appointment I was paired with someone who has been on the job for three weeks. While I respect their training they receive I have had several facial at Skoah and elsewhere and know when the service provider is confident in what she’s doing and when she is not. This service provider was clearly experienced and lacked confidence. She did not check in with me about pressure, did not walk me through the products being used or why, and was uncertain about what she was doing, at best. I stop the treatment halfway through and asked to speak to a manager. When I expressed my concern is the response I got was, “I’m sorry you feel that way.” There was absolutely no effort to compensate me or to remedy the situation in anyway. When I asked to be put in touch with the owner I was given a generic email address and a 1-800-number. Not only did I leave with incomplete, poor service but also a poor attitude and completely unacceptable levels of customer service.

I used to go to the Skoah in Chinook, but since they closed I decided to try out the Westhills location. Last month I had an awful skin reaction and called skoah in hopes that they could help me. They managed to fit me into their day even though I called an hour before said appointment. Monica, my skin trainer, was so knowledgable and friendly. She took the time to explain to me what my skin needed and how to improve, even outside of facials. She recommended a few veggies she knew would help with my skin, and techniques on how to apply product. She was never pushy with buying products, instead she just wanted me to be happy with my skin and to work on simple everyday habits. I came back today, a month later, and my skin is definitely improving! Monica was so helpful in explaining some trouble spots I need to work on before they get worse, but she is so happy with how my skin is improving. I love how genuine her excitement is. I purchase a couple products today, and I've booked a facial 3 months from now for the season change.

The facials here are always so fantastic, they leave my skin feeling clear and refreshed. I used to struggle with really bad under-the-skin congestion ,breakouts, and redness on my cheeks and was using really expensive products like Dermalogica & Glo but I did not find it helped my skin after over a year of use. I switched to Skoah products after my first facial and after 3 months noticed a huge difference in the texture of my skin with way less breakouts. I have now been using their products for about 9 months and I rarely get any acne, my redness has faded immensely, and I have noticed my skin has gotten a lot more even. I would highly recommend going for a facial and trying their products, the prices are super reasonable and the products work as promised and feel amazing - an added bonus: the products are made with natural ingredients!!

I cannot say enough good things about Skoah Westhills from the staff, treatments, products and even location!!! Skoah was recommended to me and I am so glad I listened to this one. The first time I came in I had very sensitive, clogged up, flaky and broken skin that needed major TLC. I received a skin regime for it and have been going back monthly for about a year. My skin is absolutely glowing now all thanks to Skoah products. The reason I keep coming back to the Westhills location without question is truly because of the staff. Every single time I go in no matter if it is the receptionist, Kery Lynn or the individual that is going my facial I get treated so great and so welcome like I’m part of the family. I am beyond thrilled to keep going back to Skoah Westhills simply for the great service I get there. Recommend this place so much!!!!

I booked a facial out of convenience, location and reviews. I’ve had several facials elsewhere and was surprised as I wasn’t asked any questions nor my face looked at till extractions. Well I got a rash which I never had before and still had the dry skin on my face after exfoliation. I reached out and didn’t get a response for over 24Hrs and then they couldn’t help as it was corporate. Then they went to the location the next day which was a Friday and I never got a response so I followed up on Sunday. The owner didn’t think it was a rush and she was busy with her family so didn’t respond. I went to another place and got some help and the dry skin and rash taken care of. This place is a fast food version of a spa, highly do not recommend

Skoah has literally changed my life. After dealing with hormonal acne for 5 long years I was happy to be introduced to the Skoah line. In 4 months my face has completely cleared up with the help of klearity mask. I now use it daily under my moisturizer. Westhills location is the best I have found in Calgary, Kari Lynn the owner is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and welcoming. I just had a facial with Bethany, YOU MUST SEE HER! The has the hands of a goddess. I could not have been more relaxed as she explained each product, its benefits, and her massage was beyond divine. My bathroom cabinet is filled with Skoah and I love every single product. Thanks Skoah!

I've been a customer of Skoah for 9 years. I was fortunate enough to receive a Facalicious gift certificate from a dear friend. I booked my appointment at their Chinook location. After some years Chinook closed down. I wanted to experience more of what Skoah had to offer, so I booked appointments with the other stores in Calgary. My absolute favorite store is in Westhills. Cari-Lynn and her staff are exceptional, very personal, I feel like family! and I still book my Facialicious, every 5 weeks or less. My life is better because I use only Skoah products. Plus, a lot of pampering never hurt anyone!

I loved the facial experience, very relaxing! The products I love, they feel so light on my skin. I use them daily, including the amazing "Pep Talk Body Wash & lotion" which is the only product I have found that has smoothed out the little bumps I have had on my arms for years and no creams, change of diet etc. has smoothed out my skin like Skoah's products. Thanks Kari Lynn & staff for making my monthly facials a relaxing, rejuvenating & fun time. I so look forward to my facials and absolutely love the products! This facial was literally the best facial I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve gotten treatments all over the world and I’d forfeit them all for this location’s (Westhills) professionalism and unique services. Not only is the facial itself unreal, the added scalp, neck, shoulder and leg and foot massage makes it feel like I’m at a five star resort. Bethany does an amazing job and is the most talented facialist I’ve ever had. Kerri-Lynn, the owner of this location is also wonderful and ensures a wonderful and comforting experience for all of her guests. Exceptional on all fronts.

Wow! Had my first facial ever and it was such a great experience! The gals in the shop were so nice and the hot towels are the BEST!!! So relaxing! I’d been using their products for a while because I wanted to use something made in Canada and more natural than the regular store products. Have to say the lotions and masks are wonderful! I have reactions to a lot of scents and have no problems with any products I use. Decided to try a facial and totally worth it! This would make a great gift for Christmas if you’re looking for something nice to give!!!

Had a first time facial with Sydney, oh my goodness..... Where have facials been all my life and where have you been Sydney?!? Sydney was very professional, informative, caring and meticulous. She took her time during the entire 75 minute session, checking in to make sure I was comfortable along the way... I was in total bliss. Not to mention, my skin looked amazing after! If you're debating a facial... Don't even think for a moment longer, pick up the phone and give them a call. Prices are affordable and service is outstanding. I will be back soon!

I love coming to Skoah. Their facials are top-notch and make my skin feel amazing. All of the ladies working there are incredibly diligent, kind and have a lot of expertise. My favourite facial is the Power Facial. Kari Lynn, the owner of this shop, is super helpful, kind and listens to all of your concerns. There is no high-pressure sales and they always seem to find the right products for me. I won't go anywhere else. On top of that, I have super-sensitive skin and their products WORK, period; I never experience breakouts or skin irritation.

Oh. My. Lort. Why, oh why, have I never had a facial until today? Even though I have no reference level of other facials to compare this one to, I asked for the 90 minute facialicious package. I think I may have actually died and gone to heaven!! After my treatment, I came out to the main reception and commented that my legs felt a little wobbly, and I was told that I was "Skoah drunk". And I honestly couldn't have said it better! Looking forward to my next facial with the lovely Rachel!

This place never fails to provide the best service. I've been to a handful of sessions and it is interesting to see the individual variation between each skin care expert. They all can adapt well to your needs all the while providing exemplary service. 10/10 would recommend. Side note: If you don't don't want a facial, but want products, I urge you to come into the physical store to help support them locally. All online purchases do not go to the Westhills location!

I have been going to various skoah locations for years and had to leave a review after my most recent power facial with Rebecca at Westhills. It was a textbook excellent facial. The downside was I became so comfortable during the facial massage that I passed out and started snoring by the end of the session. In my half conscious state I could hear I was snoring but was too deeply relaxed to care. 14/10, highly recommend.

I became a member at Skoah Westhills and that decision was the best I’ve ever made for myself! My skin has never felt or looked better than it does now! I was in the market for new products also so I bought the basics and have added on since then. The ladies are professional, kind and always take the time to explain everything to me when I ask. I have had many facials at various Skoah locations but it has been awhile and my most recent Facialicious Facial reminded me of why I enjoy Skoah so much. Their products feel amazing and provide all the hydration and good stuff my skin needs without being too harsh. The experience is super relaxing and feels like a massage and facial rolled into one. I went in skeptical that they could do anything with my skin, and my skin feels AMAZING. Not only does it feel amazing but I actually got some relaxation time to just breath. They have a good business plan because they sell the product that they use to do the cleaning. In my opinion, I did not like. It is a very expensive cleaning to just apply a product and give a good massage. I expend two days with a red face (this is normal if you do a peel) then disappeared. If you are looking for a deep cleaning it is not work for you.

I went for the “facialicious treatment” a couple of weeks ago and Maryam was so professional and the treatment exceeded all my expectations. I felt so relaxed and pampered with all the products and the care she took which made me feel really special. Thanks Maryam! Skoah westhills is fabulous. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. It can be intimidating going into one of these facial places the first time but they do a great job making you feel comfortable. The facials are amazing and worth the price. The product line is a bit pricey but you are getting what you pay for.

Skoah facial staff Mariam did a good job. I like her long & "powerful" messaging strokes on face & legs. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Mackenzie was amazing during my facial. And really helped me find the right products for my skin. She didn’t pressure me into buying products that were out of my budget, unlike other places. Definitely would recommend it to everyone.

I came in for a facial and Dermaplaning with Alanna at this location. She was very thorough in my skin review and asked serious questions going as far as to make sure I wasn’t using retinol in my skin routine as that could make my skin too

The facials are fine and well priced. However, avoid this location (and perhaps all Skoah locations) at all costs. They have major privacy issues and have now booked another client under my profile four times in the last year. My concerns

A friend recommended Skoah (she goes to a Vancouver one) so I decided to check out the one in west hills. I’ve been 2x and totally loved the entire experience. I’ve purchased a few things that seem to be great products for my skin too.

I had the fascialliscious facial, it was nice, but I feel like it made my skin breakout for a couple weeks after. The real reason I return to Skoah is for the AHA mask, it’s amazing. Leave it on overnight for exfoliation and moisture.
