I recently visited the Cinestar IMAX 3D movie theater and was blown away by the picture and audio quality. The screen was enormous and the colors were incredibly vibrant. The 3D effect was truly immersive, making me feel like I was a part of the movie. What really impressed me was the audio quality. The sound was crystal clear and perfectly balanced, making every sound effect and musical score come to life. I could hear every detail, from the subtle whispers to the booming explosions. The theater itself was also very comfortable and spacious. The seats were plush and offered plenty of legroom, ensuring that I could sit back and enjoy the movie without feeling cramped. Overall, I highly recommend this Cinestar IMAX 3D movie theater. The picture and audio quality are unparalleled, and the experience is truly unforgettable. Five stars all the way!

Good quality IMAX. Washrooms are clean. The movie experience is good. I think that they should control their prices for popcorn, drinks and nachos. I needed water to take medicine during the movie and I didn't know how much they would be selling water for. I carried an amount with me to the counter with a severe headache. As expected, they were selling water for a price way higher than I had expected (which was already above normal). They wanted me to go all the way back to my seat bumping into everyone's legs once again and come back all the way, all the while with my headache. They didn't budge and I just ended up doing what they wanted. This is inhumane. I really liked the movie experience there but this experience makes me think twice before going there .

IMAX is an amazing cinema to watch a movie. The experience is just something else. It was my first time watching a movie there and I can surely say that I was not disappointed. Heard alot of people talking very highly of IMAX and tbh it was upto the expectations. One thing I would like to add its just that the hall that I went in, it was really congested. Like you could literally feel this. I am comparing IMAX to Cinegold(space wise) since I live in Rawalpindi and it is my goto place for a movie. Cinegold is spacious it feels like you have the room for air but on the other hand IMAX kind of lacked in that department. Otherwise IMAX is amazing huge screen, great graphic and good food IMAX 9/10 Recommend

Have been a regular visitor of CineStar Cinema's IMAX Theatre since 2014. Still remember the first movie that I watched there in 2014 called Hercules which wasn't a very good movie though but the amazing and best in Pakistan 3D screen of IMAX made the experience worth the while. Since then have watched multiple movies in this theatre including, Dunkirk, Logan and Avengers Endgame to name a few and the experience is always wonderful. To anyone looking for a best 3D cinema in Lahore, IMAX is the place to be with their great seating capacity, comfortable seats, good quality surround sound and the biggest screen in Lahore. Highly Recommended!

One of best cinemas in town , the ambiance is really amazing and the IMAX tech is good. Prices are bit high relating to pics and snacks but overall a wonderful experience. It was really immersive. Apart from the awesome viewing experience that I always have, I also appreciated the new touch given to the atmosphere inside Cinema overall but there is still a couple of things that bothered me to some extent. Ambience is great. Screens are wide and seats are comfortable. Tickets are affordable. (400 to 600Rs) for 2D, for 3D movie app. 1000 Rs. That's my personal opinion thanks

Sine it's opened I m visiting it. 2D & 3D Imax theatre best in town . Quality time I have spend here always Staff is good always cooperative. I know few people have bad experiences . But I have never faced anything bad from cinestar management. I feel they over charging little on food items in there menu. The car parking should be shaded in day time it's so hot so people get worst experience. When they came from AC theatre and vehicle is burning . There rest rooms are neat n clean Lifts are working . Best movie experience in the country! The size of IMAX screen is unbelievably big and the sound system is awesome. Moreover there's no lower limit of the number of people for them to start screening. I've literally watched the movie with just one other person with me in theater couple of times. I have had the opportunity yo watch movies in different cines but believe you me when I tell you that IMAX is the way to do it. So kudos to the management . No matter if you are a movie goer or not, this one is totally recommended!!!

IMAX is awesome in itself but the staff is not courteous. There's no way to book tickets online unless you're a member. The website doesn't show if the hall is booked out. I went to watch Spectre four times but never was able to find a seat. There should be an online seat booking where you can also select the seats you want to sit on. This paragraph is written after two years of the above paragraph. Discourteous staff again. They need training. Poor air-conditioning and the seats are not so comfortable to sit in for two hours.

Watched mission impossible on 23rd July in cinestar Xinwa mall. Purchased the tickets online, the transaction was unsuccessful but the amount for the tickets was deducted from my credit card. Its been 20 days that I'm calling the helpline to reverse the payment and they are not taking any action. The most pathetic experience as the movie costed the family double amount.. I would recommend everyone not to buy their tickets online as the online portal is so poor that it cannot handle the online ticketing process

Awesome experience. The only movie i watched here was Oppenheimer which was completely shot with IMAX cameras. People who love to watch movies know that IMAX cameras produce best quality results. So watching Oppenheimer at an IMAX theater was a memorable experience. I spent 1200 rupees which is more than what other cinemas usually charge but it was worth spending. I highly recommend you to at least give IMAX theater one chance. I know it will not disappoint you.

It was a pathetic experience. I would rate my experience in minus. Service was extremely bad, there was no cleanliness in washrooms not only in washroom there was no cleanliness in whole damn cinema. AC were not working properly and the main part was thatt if we want to file complain against them there was not a proper way for complaining . I recently watched Oppenheimer in Imax Cinema, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The screen was massive, and the sound was so immersive that I felt like I was right there in the middle of the action. The film itself was also very well-made, and I found myself completely engaged from beginning to end. I would highly recommend seeing Oppenheimer in Imax Cinema if you have the chance. It's an experience you won't soon forget.

Went to Cinestar on 2 Aug for 1 PM show of Mission Impossible. Drove for like 30 mins and upon reaching the cinema, was told the show is cancelled. Utterly disappointed. They dont pick up the calls and dont even update such information of cancelling a show. This causes inconvenience to their clients. The cinema otherwise looks like in ruins from the outside. There is no maintenance whatsoever. This used to be such a good cinema once.

Our experience with IMAX is good. There was no rush probably due to mid day show. Entry was smooth. Ticket purchase was quick. Waiting area was comfortable. Toilets were neat and clean. Filming auditorium 1 was nice though chairs are bit small and have less padding so after some time one feels bit uncomfortable. Snack shop was neat and prices are good. Overall experience was good so definitely we can visit again.

Excellent quality of the screens. Even non-imax screens are great. Sound quality is also perfect. I would have given 5 stars but giving 4 stars because on my last visit some family occupied my seats when clearly the seat numbers were mentioned on the tickets. I called the staff and they had the audacity to ask me to accommodate and sit somewhere else. This was very unprofessional by the staff member.

Watched Oppenheimer recently in IMAX, Enjoyed the Screen, but had some issues like uncomfortable seats, Got Mosquito bites, Sound was very flat, No Bass Mangement. Doesn't feel the pressure from Sound. Air Conditioners was not working, getting sweats. I have watched many movies in this Cinema. But nowadays look like downgrade experience. I really enjoyed the movies when it was newly opened.

IMAX is my favourite cinema I terms of its large screen and the sound quality is very good. There are other cinema in townwith big screens like at packages mall and cue cinema but those have low sound quality. I recommend watch 2d movie in IMAX at the above middle lanes if you wanna full enjoy with relax neck . Recently watched Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One.

If you are a movie lover, CineStar is the best place you should visit. I share my personal experience/ advice how you choose your seats keeping in view it's humongous screen and amazing surround sound. G13,14-H16,17 & I 16,17 are the best seats. And You are right in centre having full view and focus without missing a single detail. Nachos and caramel popcorns are real treats.

Very nice place with enough parking space for visitors. Imax quality was great but i had only one issue that their seats were very narrow. Other than that I'm very satisfied with everything they had including there huge popcorn which lasted whole movie. And their prices were very reasonable too. 5 stars if they change the seats to a little more comfortable chairs.

Hands down the best cinema experience in the city. Whether you watch IMAX 3D or regular 2D the experience is so much better than the rest. Snacks are a little overpriced which is understandable. Facility of advance booking is a lifesaver. I've been watching movies here for the past 6 years and I've never longed for anything better.

In March 2012 it was reported that CineStar had signed on an agreement with IMAX Corporation to open up IMAX theatres in Pakistan.

I waited at the reception for about 30 minutes, just because someone from the managment didn't came. Mind you the movie time was 1 pm, he arrived 12:43pm. In the end there weren't enough people watching the movie so they decided not to play it. So the wait wasn't worth it. The worst service. Ruined my plans.

I've been to this place 6,7 times. This cinema is far better than the universal cinema. This is cheaper, price ranges from 500 to 1000. And their screens are also large and the position of chairs is perfect to watch the screen. The best thing I like, the cheap tickets and perfect position of seats.

Watched The Jungle Book in 2016 for the first time here and now Avatar 2. The sound quality is acceptable but the screen brightness is a bit low to enjoy for some hours and of course a cinema is incomplete without overpriced popcorn and Drinks. The overall experience was okay. Movies are watchable.

Probably one of the best cinema places. They have separate seating for male only groups and then family and couples in a different section. Ticket cost is around 800 rupees. Popcorn combo ( with drink ) and nacho combo ( with drink ) are around 600-800 rupees each.

Biggest screen I've seen but was a bit dim, sound quality could be better but bass and surround sound wise it was good. Seats were a big issue, if you're a tall person after a while the lack of legroom starts to make the experience extremely uncomfortable.
