We were looking for installation of a chandelier and 2 hanging lights in our house as a priority and the possibility of additional pot lights installed. I had a fantastic experience using 2B Wired to change an electrical panel in my home. From my initial email inquiry, communication was always fast and timely. I dealt with Ben and Amanda who were both very professional and courteous. Ben came by for an initial inspection just to review the layout and what needed to get done. He broke down all the requirements and costs and made things easy to follow. I took a few days to consider before committing and once I did they were able to get Hydro booked within a week. Once they came and did the job, everything was completed by the time I came home from work. The team had already left but I was more than happy with the work done. In a 91-year old house that is still part knob and tube (and part plaster and lathe!) we periodically run into some serious challenges to overcome with what initially seem to be simple, straightforward jobs (they never are, here!). This is when an electrician and the homeowner have to work together to problem solve. Ben knows his business well, and in the process of growing his team to accommodate demand, he is also training new electricians on how to problem solve. While in the short run this means it might take a bit longer to complete the work here, ultimately, I know that the safety of my family and property are the driving force. I have had them in here a couple of times now and am, ultimately, pleased with the work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ben and the 2B Wired team.

We needs a bunch of wiring done in an unfinished basement that we wanted to give an industrial look to.. painted cinder-block walls dropped ceiling and ample lighting. It was a mix of new plug-points, switches and pot-lights. There was also a pottery kiln to connect and a lot of old wiring that needed updating for safety. From the start Ben and his team were punctual, thorough and flexible. 2 B came in with a very reasonable quote. I kept springing new changes on his team. They were always gracious with my lack of knowledge and changing needs and adjusted on the fly in a way that put the customer first. I don't know a lot about electrical but I am a good carpenter and I know good craftsmanship when I see it. If you hire 2 B Wired! You will get good solid work done as a result.

2B Wired is a CLASS ACT. Excellent communications. Benjamin the owner is a true professional and knows his stuff. Timely arrivals for both initial review and estimate and finally for the actual work of installing a transfer switch in my home for an emergency power generator, including a 30A 240V power inlet and an extra 30A 240V power receptacle. The work of coordinating initial shut-off with the local power company, then installation of the transfer switch and receptacles, then city inspection, and then re-power-up by the local power company all happened in one (1) single day, and went without a hitch. Ben and his team are AMAZING! I had the utility company disconnect my power after my mast got ripped off my roof by a delivery company. No hydro during a cold winter storm! Called 2Bwired and spoke with Ben... he told me he'd give a call back in 15 minutes. 5 minutes later, he was in my driveway taking a look at the damage and figuring out what supplies to buy BEFORE his crew even got here. I called Ben at @2B wired to hook up my in wall dual oven range as it needed to be hardwired. I took the door off the range to allow installation and the hinge locks popped back into the frame of the door so I knew it was going to pain to be a pain to put it back on. Anyhow I had to run out so I told my wife just to make sure it worked when they hooked it up. I came back in an hour and they had googled how to fix the door problem, installed the door, screwed in all the trim, kickplate,oven racks and wiped it all down. Incredible! Most of the time you cant even get an electrician to clean up the mess for the job you hired them to do never mind go the extra mile. Great Job - thanks so much !!

Our condo was very dark, and due to the design of our condo adding more light was very tricky. Ben recommended us to install a light box. They built the light box from scratch, installed it in a two days. We also requested rgb afterglow, which they added. Everyone who visits our place is impressed by the new look. Received an estimate to upgrade my electrical panel. I had an old 100 amp service which was inside my basement. Upgraded to an 200 amp service to the outside of my home. Our experience with 2 B Wired was excellent. We undertook a basement renovation by ourselves (at least initially). After we had completed framing, Benjamin and his team replaced the main panel and installed wiring for lighting, outlets, etc. Then (a long time later, due to drywall and other delays at our end), he returned to install the lights, outlets, switches and smoke detector. Benjamin is very professional, patient, and a pleasure to work with.

I had a few flush mount lighting fixtures and dimmer switches that I needed installed. When I reached out to 2B Wired Ben was very responsive and accommodating for appointment scheduling. The fixtures themselves didn’t 100% fit the spot on the ceiling, but Ben was able to find a solution to make it work with extra parts he had in hand.
