Here's a review for your experience at AMC: I recently visited AMC to see Barbie, and overall, it was a positive experience. The theater itself was great, and the staff at various points left distinct impressions. The bartender was exceptionally cheerful and in a great mood, which added to the enjoyment of the evening. The person checking the tickets was also super friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, I couldn't help but notice that the concession workers appeared miserable and didn't seem to enjoy their jobs. This made me feel uncomfortable when placing an order, especially when I needed to make changes before anything was prepared or paid for. It might be beneficial for AMC to consider implementing some positive incentives or strategies to make the concession workers' jobs more enjoyable. This would not only improve the overall atmosphere but also enhance the customer experience. Despite this, I still had a good time at AMC and enjoyed the movie.

This experience was distasteful and disheartening. We got 3 cups for $25 dollars for only one of the slushy favors to be the option. That's $25 for one option. I tried to get some wine to enjoy my time. They gave me an option of a family dollar size cup for a $35 dollar sip of Chardonnay. In which you can go to QT to get A WHOLE BOTTLE for less than $10. Yeah the ticket prices cheap, but everything else is RIDICULOUS!!! After coming back in with my disabled 11 year old son who walks with a walker, the Supervisor Johnathan refused to assist us and indicated I threw away our food to watch the movie. However, the lady that insisted we just place it in guest services until the movie was over, She displayed the care status AMC theater claimed to stand behind. Where else do we see the care from AMC theater? Especially with disabled people. Because I feel me and my children are uncared for. Johnathan does not need to be Supervisor. She needs to take his place.

I saw a movie tonight and it was the worst experience I've ever had. There was a group of 4 guys talking super loud during the movie. On top of that, they were watching videos on their phone will full volume at some points, their text tone was on, and any time they received a text their LED blinked twice too. I had to go to the lobby and complain. A woman stood in the hallway for 30 seconds and left. After another 30 minutes, I go to complain again. She stood in the hallway again for a bit. Eventually speaking to the guys. She then leaves. They were quiet for 5 minutes and started again. By this point it's been an hour and a half of this. I've given up the manager doing anything. I walked by the same manager as I left and she was having a discussion with teenagers. I decided to not talk to her for a 3rd time and to leave a review. Long story short, management won't deal with loud talkers during movies. I won't be going to this theater again.

I had the unfortunate experience of spending my Thanksgiving at AMC NorthPark Theater, and it was far from enjoyable. The uncomfortable seats made the entire movie-watching ordeal quite unpleasant. The lobby was disappointingly dirty, reflecting a lack of cleanliness and maintenance. To make matters worse, the Coke served seemed to be watered down, adding to the overall dissatisfaction. However, what truly ruined the experience was the behavior of fellow moviegoers. It felt like attending a zoo rather than a theater, with people talking loudly, filming the movie on their phones, and shamelessly posting on Facebook. It's disheartening to see such a lack of respect for others' movie experiences. I strongly recommend considering alternatives like Alamo or Studio Movie for a more civilized and enjoyable atmosphere with proper audience supervision. Save yourself the frustration and choose a theater that values the movie-watching experience.

Yup! Love the movies! Have the stub membership so I get free movies for a monthly fee. Worth it. Up to three movies free a week so easily run out of movies to see. But good in the summer months with all the blockbusters come out because even going twice a month pays for itself. To take advantage of the membership I will probably try to go once a week. Three month minimum but I get that. Lots of value there. Also get priority service in line and that alone is worth it not that I don’t enjoy standing in line it’s just that I would rather be sitting eating my popcorn and then getting the free refill with the membership. Yeah, still like it. No recliners but seats are comfortable and theaters are large. Bathrooms are huge and the location is cool at the mall so you can go to Macys or your favorite store and window shop or actually buy something which I occasionally do.

Honestly surprised to find this AMC has 4.2 stars on Google. I used to enjoy going here when I was younger and loved the convenience of it being at my favorite mall so I didn’t mind paying the higher price. I just visited this theater again and it was such a disappointment. The team members were nice but it was so dirty in the lobby - wet towels all over the ground by the drink machines, food spillage all over the counters, butter flavoring all over the counters to dispense butter. And on top of that, I received the wrong concession order but couldn’t change it because I had thrown away my receipt and didn’t check it before leaving the pick up counter. Additionally, I came across a really rowdy group of teenagers and couldn’t enjoy the movie. So disappointed with my experience!

  • Fatima Drame

I only came here because its closest to my house. Honestly I haven’t been to a worse AMC until this one. The seats are extremely dirty. Upon arrival into the theatre I noticed popcorn, grease and paper towels all over the floor, my assigned seat and surrounding seats in my row. I asked the attendant who was about to leave if this was cleaned and he said yes. I told him my seat assignment, he saw the mess and he informed me he’ll be back to clean up. He comes back and picks up a few kernels and walks away. I return to my seat and there’s still grease and popcorn on the seats, floor. I even went to the other empty rows and they were gross. It’s not worth paying extra for the dolby cinema seats of I don’t even feel comfortable and sitting in a nasty environment. AMC do better!

Cons: Bad customer service and dirty show room 9 ruined the experience at AMC 15. I went to this theater on 9-1-2023, for a 8 p.m. showtime. I purchased two mobile tickets ahead of time. I sent one ticket/scan code to my sister who was to meet me there. I, however arrived before her, so I went inside to my seat. When she arrived and scanned her ticket the young Hispanic female with glasses wouldn’t allow my sister into the movie. I had to leave from watching the movie which had already started, to head up front at the ticket entrance. I showed the employee verification of the two mobile tickets that were purchased and our seat confirmations, but she continued to give us a hard time. Eventually she realized she was wrong, but never bothered to apologize.

A flagship AMC location, for sure! Excellent Dolby and IMAX cinema experiences, even if the IMAX in particular gets earsplittingly loud. The staff has also been pleasant and accommodating in the times I have visited. Unfortunately their regular theaters are less inviting and commonly feature dirty, stained seats (yes, even after COVID) and they're not too comfortable. Also the popcorn is very hit or miss, smelling and tasting musty and old half the time. Sometimes it is so nasty (a clump will be oily and disgusting with an appalling aftertaste, etc...) that it threatens to ruin the experience on its own. Thankfully, the IMAX and Dolby cinemas are fantastic. Just avoid the regular theaters and their popcorn and you should be in for a lovely time.

Go to AMC Village On The Parkway 9 at Belt Line if you can. While this theater shows harder to find films, the experience isn't always great. The soda machines don't have syrup. Some AMC A-List perks are ignored, like priority lines for concessions. The restrooms are routinely out of order or have 1 functioning sink max. Sometimes films are incorrectly projected so parts are cropped out, including subtitles. In other cases, I've shown up to an English showing only to be presented with the film in another language. The seating is also older, without recliners. Some may prefer that; I don't. Village on the Parkway 9 by contrast is my favorite theater out there.

  • Jon Ross Texas

This theatre is in on of the most high end malls in America. It has a beautiful entry and location, however, from the rude teenager working the lower glass ticket booth and the electronic ticket machines not working to the 31.00 for 2 charges. Only to head upstairs to a beautiful lobby and numerous employees working the concession counter but two groups too busy eating in the back to assist guests. Last but not least, theaters that have non lounger or reclining seats. Just a true disappointment all around for AMC. Sad for such a brand when the costs for 2 was well over 68.00. If you must go, try a Cinemark or other brand until AMC gets it together. So sad

  • Dena Sims

Great theater. Many movie choices to choose from. It was kinda slow at the ticket counter. There was only one person there. He was nice and all. It was the middle of the afternoon on Sunday. That’s when most people are lining up for entrance. Fast forward to the snack line. Very long line. They had more cashiers at the VIP station and less for regular folks. I get that but 2 for VIPs and one at the regular folks line which stretched and zigzagged out to escalators. My suggestion is to join the VIP. They tout different more perks. I’m uncertain what the perks are other that getting served food and getting to your seats timely and before the movie begins.

  • Lu H

I come here occasionally to watch movies and it's almost always a great time. The restrooms are clean and well-kept. The seats are pretty good as well. If you're sitting for 3 hours though it can get a little rough. I appreciate you can check what you're able to watch and what seats are available online so that you can avoid the hassle of waiting in line at the front as well. A heads up, if you're going to get food or drinks from here at around 3-7pm try to order beforehand or get here at least 30 minutes before your movie starts. The lines can get pretty long and often times there are only 2 workers.

  • Joseph Hoss

Not a clean place to enjoy a movie. Final show on a Friday night, I can expect the experience to be a little let go, but boy was it let go. Cleanliness: Trash cans overflowing. Popcorn was warm but stale. Popcorn butter area was a filthy. Bathrooms were in decent shape, but there were no paper towels to be found. On leaving, all the staff were gone and nothing had been cleaned up. In seat: My seat was stained and uncomfortable. Any shifting in my seat caused a noise to occur, could hear other seats throughout our movie. Sound and movie quality were good.

  • AO Media

Went to a 70mm showing of Oppenheimer. Looked good except that something kept shaking the projector before the whole screen went black halfway through the movie. Then the theater switched to a digital projection of the film for the second half without telling us. So only got 50% of what we paid for. Be nice if that meant getting a 50% refund, but no. PS. After switching to the digital projector, the projectionist decided it was a good idea to shine a flashlight into the 70mm projector, which then shined on to the screen. Very distracting.

  • Ricky M

The ticket machines have been broken since the beginning of 2023 & it’s akward waiting in long lines to buy tickets or letting the employees know what you wanna see like lol it’s gonna be akward to ask one ticket for Barbie! The seats are old & I know never to buy a soda since they taste weird or flat majority of the times! Popcorn is always burnt! Also employees rush you towards the end of the movies so you can’t wait for a post credit scenes!

  • E H

Going to the movies alone is 1 of those rare activities I can do as a single lady without being bugged. AMC provides a safe, comfortable atmosphere and the pass gives me complete freedom to watch half a movie and come back another day to see the other half. I bring a blanket and small pillow for comfort and the bartender makes a good drink. They always show good movies so I am enthralled instead of sitting home alone watching Netflix.

  • Jan Naxon

Mostly we go to nearby North Park mall, errands, and check with box office re:movies and times, SEATING, buy tickets. Go then or later in day or night. Tech-Screen, light, sound & sound effects, visuals all first rate. Nice to see first run movies with comfy seating. OFTEN not full choice at box office after dinner after errands at North Park Mall, Dallas, Also we may blow off seeing just any movie and not see just anything.

  • Sam Pattnaik

This is the AMC location at NorthPark Center and I was really amazed by the scale of it and how many theaters they have. I was a little let down by the theaters tho, a little outdated imo. They had showtimes for indie movies and the ones that I wouldn’t necessarily find at other locations. Check it out if you are here in the mall but if you want to watch the latest marvel movie pick a Dolby version elsewhere.

  • Sagar Khurana

Decent movie experience. Ticketing agent was kind and helpful finding the good seats. He didn’t bother asking for AMC stub member account details which I’d have appreciated. We bought Mac and cheese bites, mozzarella sticks (both tasted almost same), popcorn (caramel and butter) and sodas. Seats didn’t recline much as I had hoped despite being a 3D Dolby screen. The sound and picture quality was good though.

  • Jennifer Rao

Big, Comfortable Assigned Seats! Large screens! Good sounds! Great selections of newly released movies! When sitting in a smaller screening room, at times, can hear and feel next theatre’s IMAX effects! $5 Tuesdays for AMC Stubs Membership! Allow time for picking up tickets especially for matinees, only one window opened and after each sale, the one cashier tries to sell membership to each non-member! :))))

  • C L

Terrible service. I was next in line for popcorn and the cashier finished helping the customer in front of me then when I was up he said this line is closed and ran off. Who does that with a line full of people?? Terrible. The seats were old and don’t recline. No refills on large popcorn. Small theatre. Would not recommend. We went on Aug 12 at 4pm. Never again. I see why AMC is dying.

  • Dan The Man

Good Theater, just needs to be cleaned a bit more often. Trash needs to be taken out. Floors need to be vacuumed. The employees were fast and attentive but didn't seem to have a shift leader. I'm sure there could be more people hired to do just these things to help out. I am going to stay with the 4 stars only because basically house cleaning is simple, and I didn't have a bad time.

  • Amy Deatherage

We went to see The Grinch in November 2018 and the movie wasn't working. So they refunded us all our tickets AND upgraded us to the Dolby Cinema viewing of the movie that was playing just 30 minutes later. Very classy and generous way to handle a situation. We were not upset or anything, they did it for everyone. Friendly staff that goes above and beyond expectations. 5 Stars!

  • Chenay Taylor

It's fine. I don't like the seats at AMC. They are the old school movie seats no recliners. The Regal or Studio Movie Grill have better seats. Popcorn was good. They have a station where you can add butter and seasoning. They also have a drink wall with choices of Icee and sodas. We only went there because it was the only theater close to us that had the showtime we needed.

  • Oliver Peimbert

This movie theater is clean and well maintained. Theater rooms are modern with comfortable seating and very spacious. Staff seemed very cordial. Concessions are a bit pricey But that's true to any movie theater now a days also the line for the concessions was too long. Me and my wife had a good time though. Not the first time at this theater and won't be the last.

  • Krishna

NorthPark AMC stands out as one of the exceptional IMAX theatre in Dallas compared to other locations. The state-of-the-art sound system, featuring laser technology, enhances the movie-watching experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself and feel every moment. Additionally, their Dolby Atmos adds another layer of greatness to the overall cinematic journey.

  • Izzy H

Concessions were pretty quick, theater was clean. But i went to the bathroom after my movie and i could not find a stall that wasnt either clogged with toilet paper, smeared feces on the toilet seat, pee on the floor, or a combination of all of those. Really disgusting, and being in such a high-end mall, i expected a better experience than that.

  • Kaiju Kid

Located inside the posh North Park Mall, this AMC theater is top notch. All the modern theater options are available like Dolby, IMAX and Real 3d screens. There are reclining seats in some of the theaters, and you can order real food and alcoholic drinks at this location. Overall, a good choice for some adults movie night watching.

  • bharoo jharoo

We saw Mission Impossible and the movie was great. The theater itself needs some really really deep cleaning. From seats to the carpet everything looked and felt disgusting. We bought some nachos and there were no jalapeños served or found. The amount of money being charged, AMC must provide or improve their customer experience.

  • Evellyn Blair

Great movie theater. Love the screening movies they do. Always helpful staff an great food! Prices a little higher here then else where but for AMC an inside a mall what do you except. Large refillable drink for a little under 7 bucks. Great popcorn to. Serves beer an alcohol but can't take that out into the mall though.

  • Bennie

I was really disappointed that a theater inside of North Park still has old fashioned seats, especially for $15+ tickets. The ticket machines don't work, so be prepared to wait awhile in the ticket line where there's only one person working. The theater was also unpleasantly warm. Just an overall not great experience :/

  • Owen Craven

Overall the theater was one of the cleaner theaters I've been to. No sticky floor! There was also a promotion to get a discount at one of the restaurants at the mall after the movie, so that was fun. The seats were older, and more worn, and couldn't lean back or anything. A nice simple theater experience.

  • rachana karri

My most favorite theater in the whole of Dallas area The movie screen is amazingly good Especially the imax screen and the fact that there is like jome with lesser number of people in the theater it is not crowded and it is not disorganized It is pretty hygenic and the food is good and so clean

  • Naomi

Nice and clean movie theater. Though was a bit disappointed on the seats being prices are expensive. A Large popcorn and a large drink are $14.99. They are just regular seats in theater 7. Also, AMC is located by Macy’s on the second floor and right across from the food court.

  • William Garcia

Gotta say, this is one of the best AMC theaters I have been to, the bathrooms were clean and actually had soap and running sinks which surprised me like no other! The staff was hard at work making popcorn and chatting with guests and it was over all a very nice environment!

  • Linda Casey

We reserved our seating & that went well. The snack bar was pretty quick but did have a line. Overall cleanliness including the bathroom was way above average. No line at the restrooms & was able to shoot in & out quickly. We had tons of fun & there were no impediments.

  • Vinay

Seats not cleaned and it's very congested compared to Cinemark. Popcorns are also not good and it's a flavored butter if anyone is healthy conscious. I had a bad over here and looks like I wasted my money on movie tickets and food over here . Will not visit again

  • Pedro Ponce

Started watching scary movie with kids. Didn't work out too good. Switched over to Mario Brothers movie. Was hoping they would just change us over but had to rebuy tickets. Defeats the purpose of matinee. Good experience overall. Always enjoy this AMC location.

  • Doc Beach

Excellent theater in a safe and comfortable environment. Todd Kennedy and his exceptional customer satisfaction efforts regarding a "less than pleasant" fanfare event made our experience so exceptional we will consider this our theater of choice going forward.

  • Leonor McElroy

Old fashion seats that if you have long legs it will be difficult to sit comfortably. I cross my legs but the top started to tingle, I will switch and then the other will tingle. I'm now spoil with the big recliners that have enough room to stretch them!

  • Jamal Washington

Worst movie theater I ever been too. The management team is no help. Then the company itself has no real way of contacting it. Now I gotta wait 3 hours just to get my license because yall have remedial rules and no way to contact corporate. This is sad

  • Leticia MORENO

We just enjoyed taking pictures in the Barbie box and all the other movie displays. It was just so pricey for popcorn and drinks a little snacks. We paid almost 200 to get in,plus what we spent in snacks and drinks. Olwrd. That big pretzel was yummy.

  • Titus

This AMC smells like mold, has old seats and the customers are ghetto, and trashy. You will be waiting in line at the concessions for about 30-45 mins. The theater itself stinks, and the seats look old. Will not be returning to watch movies here.

  • Taylor Sher

This is NorthPark Center and you guys can’t even update your theaters with seats that aren’t from the 90’s? This theater is like going to the dollar theater but spending the same price you would a newly renovated theater. Disgusting.

  • Naturally T

Absolutely love the experience! The bar is a great addition. Drinks? Fantastic. Popcorn? So tasty! Bathrooms? Impeccably clean. The surrounding sound in the theaters? Pure magic. A perfect spot for a delightful movie night.

  • Mike Grn

The worst theater I’ve ever been to! I was in auditorium 8 Imax and I could hear buzz and boom boom sound from outside!!! Came out to complain but nobody was working in the whole cinema!!! Plus, dirty seats and restrooms…

  • cesar ibarra

Thursday july 20, 2023 10:31pm . Been waiting on my hot dogs since 9:50 pm. Supposedly someone has took my order. Still waiting 2 minutes have passed and nothing my movie has now been playing since 9:40 smh hate it here

  • Gabriel Williamson

$50 for 1 beer and 1 wine, so we did not even bother looking at the snacks. Seats are not comfortable. Enjoy your movie experiences at Cinemark, Studio Movie Grill, or Alamo Drafthouse and save some money and backache.

  • Rupin Talreja

IMAX doesn't have recliners while the standard format does, kinda weird. Rest of it is pretty good, they have a small Starbucks as well instead of doing the old popcorn and coke you can do popcorn and latte

  • Michael Allegretta

Great theatre in North Park Mall, easy access, sometimes I have experienced dirty theatres, maybe more time to clean between movies should be given, overall the recliners are the best comfortable seating.

  • BB G

Their drink machines were out of ice. Out of eight only one worked. The floors were sticky with soda.. it was pretty gross.. but we enjoyed the movie. FYI, use the app to skip the line in concessions.

  • Beka Shizzle

Ac wasn't working in halls or bathrooms. But was working where it counted in the theater. No lines! Concession was clean. AMC stubs rewards is worth it!! We went on a Tuesday evening.

  • Veronica H

Trying buying alcohol and they have a full bar but couldnt even sell a beer because the bar dont open till 4. If they playing movies all day you should be able to buy anytime.

  • Samantha Holmes

They don't even clean their theaters ! This is what I walked into 15 min before my movie started and I've never experienced a dirty theater before this is ridiculous!

  • Veronica Cheng

Went to see Avatar 2 in IMAX 3D. It was awesome! Seats are not recliners but very comfortable. Excellent picture. The screen was huge. Definitely worth every penny!

  • Jake Coffman

Lack of cleanliness and staff is slow to put together pre-online food and drink orders. There were also multiple issues scanning online ticket orders to gain entry.

  • Crystal Fuller

Pretzel was actually so good I was shocked! Docked one star bc I'm disabled and it's very hard to navigate with a mobility issue, but other than that it was 10/10

  • T X

Watched Oppenheimer in IMAX theater. Great sound and picture however the illuminated exit halls are so bright that they distract your view during dark scenes.

  • Tony A

My son was thirsty and needed to get him some water. Waited 30 min in line at the concession stand to obtain a cup for a self-serve soda fountain. Ridiculous.

  • thomas mitcham

Seriously what are y'all doing? The theatre was not prepared. They ran out of straws, ice, and syrup in the soda machine. This theatre needs to do better.

  • B Kono

Seats are little dated compared to other theaters but fine. Nice place to watch a movie after shopping and eating at the food court. All in one place.

  • Estevez G

When you want a premium cinema experience you go to this AMC. The brightest and best picture in Dallas. You can't go wrong with IMAX or Dolby Cinema.

  • Reyes Family

Beautiful theater, staff so friendly and helpful.. lobby so clean also restrooms. Concession stand service So fast with cheerful employees so happy.

  • Melanie Hayden

The staff was really friendly, and the theater was clean. A very enjoyable experience for me and my son. Will definitely visit again.

  • T Your welcome

Absolutely stunning movie theater and mall. Very impressed with them up in the style to ensure that the areas were clean properly

  • Clarence Carter

It's advertised as dine-in on their website, but it definitely is not. You have to eat in your lap. Seats are comfortable though

  • Rashun Gray

Was awesome the movie theater was clean the restaurant was clean. Great service hot food. Will definitely go back again

  • Nadiya Rajan

Came here for an Amazon Prime Premiere, it was great. Folks were friendly and the location was clean and comfortable.

  • txkid

Clean facility and pleasant staff. The concession stand prices seem to be 20% above other theaters.

  • salil chopra

Great place. The bathrooms were clean. Alcohol is way too expensive. $30 for a glass of house wine.

  • Mark Dyslin

Saw a flick in their Dolby theater...the recliners actually vibrant with loud scenes in the movie

  • Joshua Taylor

Nice theater. I was there for a premier, so not sure about their pricing. But it was nice.

  • Yubraj pokharel

Very nice and clean theatre. Lots of food items available and is more spacious.
