Wish I could give zero stars. I rarely write reviews, but definitely pay attention to the other 1 star reviews -- they are all the same. AC issues, double booked theaters, extremely poor management all around. I went with a group of 8 to a showing of the Barbie movie on July 25, and our tickets were purchased online at least 10 or more days in advance. Our tickets showed we'd be in auditorium 6, but the worker who scanned our tickets told us to go to auditorium 4. Turns out, the AC was broken in #6, and instead of canceling the showing, moving us to an empty theater, letting us know before we checked in, literally anything else...they sent us into a double booked theater. It was chaos and basically a "first come first serve" seating situation. Needless to say, no resolution was given to the customers who got the short end of the stick, other than a "tough luck." My group and I had also already purchased snacks and drinks before making our way into the auditorium and discovering what was going on. But of course, the manager did not reimburse for those snacks, or offer to cover anything from there. Won't ever be coming here again and plan to tell everyone else to follow suit. Angelika, do better and listen to these reviews -- these customers are not unreasonable, and there were so many other ways you could have made this right.
Normally, we have, a fantastic experience at this theater. We have seen many movies over the past few years at this location. Yesterday, however, the movie JOY wouldn't start. After two movie patrons went to ask about the start time an employee came in and told us it would start in 10 to 15 minutes. It didn't! The movie was slated to start at 10:35 am and at approximately 11:05 we, and most of the theater 5 patrons, left. We then asked for reimbursement. The employee at the ticket booth was quick to refund our money. We tried to talk to the theater manager but were told he was "too busy" to come talk to us. It is very possible that he was busy attempting to get the movie to play, however, he should have come and delivered more information to us and also offered us reimbursement and a voucher for the next time we visit. We asked for this at the ticket booth and we were told we could either wait for the manager to come talk to us (and we were told that they had no idea how long it would take) or we could leave our name and number and we would be called. We left our name and number, still waiting on that call.......... I'm giving a rating of 3 stars (normally a 5 star location) because usually we love the place. Yesterday, though, left us wondering about where we will watch movies in the future.
I'm not one to frequently give reviews, but this really rubbed me the wrong way. Drove across town to see a movie tonight and once we get there, we are told that the AC is out in our theater room. We were given the option to still watch the movie or get a refund. We opted for refund- it is 104° today and we dont care to be miserable. They send us to the manager to get our refund, but I notice my refund is shorted by almost $4. When I inquired about why, the snippy manager (her name was Tory or Cory) told me they don't refund the service charges. When I told her that they should refund me exactly what I paid, she told me I could have requested the refund online before we came and I would have gotten the full amount. I informed her the website will not let you request refunds if after 1 hour before the show. She didn't budge and said if I wanted the full refund, I could have requested it online and that they did give me the option to still watch the movie but I chose the refund. Absolutely terrible customer service and business practice. Her non-chalant attitude didn't help. We won't be returning to this location.
0 stars if I could. Bought tickets weeks in advance for a movie, checked in no problem - they did tell us we would be in theater 4 instead of 6 like our ticket said. Walked into theater 4 and someone was in our seats, the theater doubled booked EVERY seat. While they did refund our tickets, there was absolutely no care at all. They were more than happy to have us waste money on concessions for a movie that we couldn’t even attend. How is it okay that YOUR COMPANY completely fails and does nothing to make up for your mistake? I will never go to another movie here and will tell everyone to avoid it. I like supporting local, but this was genuinely bad customer service. Why couldn’t they tell us on check in that our seats were booked? Send a warning in advance? They also told us that the theater was unavailable because the air conditioning was out. Strange, considering we walked into the theater our tickets were originally for, and it was full with a different event and the air conditioning was working juuuuust fine.
Less than zero rating is the reality of this one... My wife went to take in an afternoon movie yesterday and was met by a crew that didn't want to be there or do their job. She couldn't find anyone to pay for a ticket and had to wander aimlessly before finding someone who reluctantly helped her with her purchase... then, the guy at concessions threw half a bucket of popcorn on the counter at her with no explaination. Apprently, layering butter on popcorn isn't his job and she was supposed to know there was a spout that she could do it on her own... however, no explanation and throwing popcorn down on the counter at your customers really seems like a D*** move to me. She was trying to enjoy an afternoon out after a hard morning and this is what she got. Pitiful behavior and lack of service is what we see everywhere people.. be different for crying out loud.
This message is directed to the owners of Angelica - Mockingbird Station…. It is way past time for a remodel of your theater at this location. The seats and arms are in very bad shape. A previous reviewer is correct, duct tape has been used to mend torn seats and arms. The ceiling in some of the theaters are discolored and distracting. Quality of projection and the screens need attention as well. And Vaping. It is also a problem. Bottom line, the theater has simply worn down with no one really “minding the store”. This theater has always had great potential. Perfect location, good concessions & quality film selection. It’s time for executives of Angelica to pay this theater a visit and conduct and thorough inspection. You will find this and other reviews to be very accurate. Best of luck and hope to see a new and improved Angelica soon.
Great theater. We wanted to see an anime film and since this was only place that was showing subtitles, we came here. It was pretty great. We bought our tickets online. When you come in, you have to find the kiosk to print (or buy) your tickets. They're by the entrance and it's pretty easy to miss. Once there, you print your tickets and order your food from the same kiosk. From there, you take your tickets upstairs and give your food order ticket to the employee at the food stand. There are no registers upstairs, so do have to order your food through kiosk. Anyways, the theater rooms are also upstairs. Since we were watching a really niche film, we were the only ones there. It was a really fun experience. The seats are a little worn out, but tickets are cheap. It's easy to overlook. Over all, really great. Planning to come here again.
Not sure how this place gets a 4.5 star rating the chairs are the most uncomfortable thing I’ve experienced for 3 hours, equivalent to airplane seats but maybe less comfortable. Im gonna need a massage how freaking stiff I was getting up. Went to the premiere of Multiverse of Madness on a Friday night at 10:30 and everything was already shut down concession wise? Alright that’s cool I like sneaking food in my purse anyways. Cheap tickets which makes sense. There’s no room between the seats so good luck if you not on an end cap of the row, and if you are you’re gonna get up everytime someone needs to get by. After we got out of the movies and tried to go pee, as everyone does after a movie, they said the bathroom were already closed?? Anyways will never recommend it come here again long story short
It's an OK movie theater. Plenty of parking in the garage, but beware of strangers approaching you with their problems and asking you for financial assistance somewhere between the garage and the entrance to the theater. Concessions are expensive like all others. Popcorn was mediocre. Icee looked more liquid than it should be, but my wife said it was OK (I think she was just settling since she hadn't had one in a while). Seats were assigned/chosen when tickets were purchased, so no last minute scramble, but the seats are not comfortable. They are budget so that more bodies can be crammed in the space, resulting in somewhat tight seats, stiff backs, and minimal leg room. Picture and audio quality were good.
For a restaurant in a swanky area, you'd think they'd lean into that a little more. Limited food options meant I had a pre-packaged club sandwich from their café, along with a $4 bottle of water. The small, old school theatre we were in was fine... except for the fact that sound and music from elsewhere kept drifting in, so there I am watching a dramatic, quiet foreign language film and hearing music trumpeting in from the doorway. I was disappointed by this - avoiding sound pollution seems pretty important in a theatre? - but have no complaints about the actual sound quality of the movie I was watching. Basically, it's an okay place to see a movie. Glad to have so many options in Dallas.
I had the misfortune of having to sit down while using the facilities in Angelika Theater and was given a rude surprise. It seems they recently installed bidets in the Men's restroom and failed to post any signage warning patrons of this new addition. As a consequence, I spent a good amount of time and a whole lot of paper trying to towel off my bottom after using it. I get that the Angelika is top-tier and fancy but come on people! Not everyone appreciates your high culture and hoity-toity ways. Everything else about my theater-going experience that evening was excellent and I will return. Next time I will make sure to handle my business at home before going out.
I’m a huge huge huge movie lover, enjoying at least 3 a week. When I need my independent movie or film festival desires satisfied; the Angelika is my theatre. It’s nice that they have a super comfortable lounge area where you can meet some really cool people before and after your movie. I Couldn’t give 5 stars, because the actual theaters could use some love, but I still highly recommend the Angelika. Returned for another fabulous event with the USA film festival and it was Fabulous! the reception was amazing and movie #Peanut Butter Falcon, wow what a wonderful film. The Q and A was one of the best I’ve attended because the film makers were so engaging.
I've been coming to this movie theater since it opened. The screens are great. Sound systems are superb. They keep the theaters not too cold not too hot. Easy to get in and out of with parking. not that I usually indulge in a lot of cinema food but it did seem that their menu has decreased significantly. They still have the best popcorn of any theater in Texas. I think they need to seriously look into updating the chairs. They're becoming a little worn. Compared to other newer theaters they're just not as comfortable. I love the Angelika because they show new documentaries, art and indie films. Still my favorite neighborhood movie theater.
As movie theaters go, this is not the most impressive one we’ve visited. They do have some perks such as wine and similar drinks available in the snack bar, but the wall coverings and carpet seem to be old and dated. Plus, they may not have heard that inoculations are available now for Covid and that the CDC stated that those having received the required shots are safe to go without mandatory masks. Pity. Note: One additional point - We’re in the theater at 8 pm (show time) to see an anticipated movie released yesterday, and only three people are here to see it. That says it all.
I expected a lot more from this theatre. I was disappointed. I always saw this as a fancy theater... I watched Lu Over The Wall. It was $12, which is fine. The seats were small & stiff. My poor thighs suffered throughout the movie. There wasn't many others in the theatre with us, so I can't give y'all a feel for the people. The few that were there were quiet. I'll probably never go back because A) I don't live in Dallas & B) it wasn't really worth it for me. They do have events like the Studio Ghibli festival, & their own things. I'll probably go here for something like that.
We saw The Sound of Freedom. Thank you for showing this movie. Unfortunately, the theater is old, dated. Doesn't smell great, and was a tad warm on the inside. They had old style fixed chairs, that don't recline or even move. The chairs are also made for skinny people. Not comfortable for plus-size people. We are not from Dallas, and we're surprised that the inside of the theater wasn't nicer. Looks 20+ years old. For a $12 Sunday matinee, I was expecting a cool theater (temperature) and more modern, comfortable seating.
My favorite cinema because of its smart blend of major studio films and a healthy dose of indies and foreign films. There is always something worth seeing that you may not find elsewhere. They haven't recovered completely from the Covid backup in filmmaking, but I'm sure that they will. On top of this, the nearby dining is far better than what you find around multiplexes, making for a nice evening out. Parking is great, unlike the Angelika on Houston Street in New York, where I spent a LOT of time when I lived there.
Just came to watch the new spider man movie and I’m sitting in the movie theatre typing up this review. The crowd is awful, some guy is smoking his vape in front of us. There’s a bunch of unsupervised 10-11 year olds even adults are rowdy. A woman just spilled her beer on my head and bottles were bouncing on the floor during the movie. Our seats are duct taped and dusty. Don’t get me started on the restroom, it’s disgusting there is no soap or toilet paper. I won’t be returning.
Been here quite a few times . Tonight was the worst ! It's " Dallas " people, and ticket kiosks not working , had you pay for soft drinks downstairs, and go upstairs to get your cup , and go back downstairs to get your drink! And try to get through crowd purchasing tickets , fill your cup and " fight your way" back up to theater level . No one who worked here knew where anything was ! Please step up to the plate Angelica people , you're an embarrassment to Dallas!
Incredibly UNSAFE area. The entire shopping center including the movie theater is unsafe when dark. My friend’s car was stolen while we were watching a movie here. The parking has supposedly a “security office” which somehow missed a car being stolen 15 feet away from their door in their parking lot. After going here for years, I will avoid going here till the businesses take responsibility and create a safe environment for their patrons. Incredibly unsafe area.
Went to see Sound of Freedom yesterday. There was no AC in theater 3. Multiple people complained and it didn’t cool down till the end of the movie. Very disappointing movie experience sweating the whole time smelling everyone else’s sweat. What was really frustrating is that the other theaters had AC on. Not sure if management followed opening procedures or just forgot to turn this one theaters AC on. Regardless it’ll be the last time we go to this theater.
Came here for a friend's student film from the Art Institute of Dallas. The theater itself is very fancy, and has seating for people who are waiting on the second floor, as well as a bar. The seating was comfy enough, and they were very diligent in the lobby about picking up popcorn. They let the Art Institute set up a mini red carpet so that people could take pictures for their student project like a real red carpet Very nice theater, 5 star rating
It's so far from where I live so it had been a little while but I can always count on being able to find good quality films when I go to the Angelika. This time it was Stop Making Sense, the Talking Heads concert from the 80s re-released 40 years later. I was so glad we made the drive. What an awesome time. And that popcorn was the freshest best movie popcorn I've ever had. It was still hot for a while after we took out seats. So yummy.
Staff was friendly. Seats are decent. $10 a ticket is extremely fair. Bathrooms are clean. Snacks are decently priced. The barista was a gentleman. The only reason for the lost star is for the coffee bar. I wish they invested more on the quality of the product for people who prefer coffee/espresso over alcohol or soda. All in all I liked this place alot and will probably opt for this theater over the luxury options dallas has to offer.
Unfortunately I had a terrible time at this theater. The only saving grace and why it’s not a 1 star review is that A24’s Talk to Me is a phenomenal movie. It’s nice they play smaller indie films, but $14 dollars(plus concessions) for this experience was criminal. CONS: auditorium 7 was about 80 degrees(at 9pm), the chairs don’t recline, and on top of that they don’t fit the large drinks… so fun to leave them on the ground
There was no AC the whole time so it was 90° and it smelled like a packed, sweaty theatre. Worse, they offered no empathy or anything to accommodate and seemed really annoyed when I mentioned it. Apparently (after reading other reviews) it has been that way for days. I would have really appreciated a heads up before showing up that I’d be arm-to-arm with strangers and sweaty for three hours.
Great place in a solid location. Tickets were not expensive at all. Bar selection was nice. Scotch selection at the bar tend to be more towards the conventional favorites and doesn't diverge far from it. Also enjoyed how well kept the theater is and how comfortable the seats are. You'd be surprised at how it can be hard to find sometimes in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area.
Enjoyed a matinee here yesterday. Interesting decor - take an escalator up a floor to get to the theaters. when we purchased our tickets we were presented with a seating map, and chose our seats in advance. the seats themselves were large and comfortable, and the theater was clean. The pre-feature on screen entertainment was a step up from what I am used to on the East Coast.
Pretty much the only place I go to in Dallas for movies. I have the loved the Angelika for many years and happy Dallas has a location. Parking garage near by, or parking in the retail parking available around, also dart station literally right next to the Angelika also a bike ride trail that leads you there. Some shopping and food around if you want to make it a whole thing.
Gorgeous, chic and classy place to catch an indie or artistic film before dinner or drinks nearby. Prices are what you would expect from a movie theatre, concessions are good but at typical theatre prices. Staff was very friendly and seating was comfortable. Café served perfect coffee and appetizers. All in all, a very good place to lose yourself in film for a few hours.
First time here... saw “Fleabag:live at the theater” and it was AMAZING! The employees were super nice and I saw that they employed disabled people which made me think highly of them as well. Was clean, and well maintained; loved the colorful stairs. Parking was free and easy access to the theater from Parking garage. Minus one star for older, uncomfortable seats.
I really like this theater but do have a few complaints... I want to get physical tickets, the escalator isn't operational and $14 is a little pricey. The picture and sound quality is top notch though and the selection of films shown is impressive. This place even shows some Netflix original movies which don't get a wide release at all. Solid theater all in all.
One of the more fancier upscale movie theaters in the area. But overall it is a pleasant experience as the crowd is not rowdy compared to other theaters that I go to. You can normally catch films here that are not showing at other theaters while also enjoying a good drink. Not to mention it is around other restaurants in the area if you choose to eat afterwards.
Went for a screening here, so this won't be the most accurate experience you'd get from this place. My biggest complaint would have to be the food, as I got nachos that had chips that were too salty and lukewarm cheese. I hope the next time I'd come here, it would be a better experience, but as of now, it's a good place if you want the bare minimum experience.
So happy that the USA Film Festival holds most of their events at this well run theater. Always a friendly, courteous staff and shows movies that you won't see anywhere else. Lots of free parking and the concessions are exceptional - they even have a decent wine list! If you want a personal experience where you can feel appreciated, this is the place for you.
The cup holders in theater 4 are all duct taped to the seat arms. The residue from the tape gets all over your arm and the theater smells musty. Until this theater gets cleaned up I would recommend going elsewhere. I did not have food or drink so I cannot speak on that, this review is simply about the cleanliness of the theater rooms and uncomfortable seating
Been to this theater hundreds of times. The parking is not as bad as you would think. Great location for dinner and a movie. Many restaurants to walk to before or after. Also, full bar to get drinks during the movie. Really one of the few places to see foreign and artistic movies that you don't often get to see at the major movie chains.
Really enjoy the movies they book here. The atmosphere around the theater is nice as well, plenty of before/after places to eat and shop. It's not a perfect 5 starts IMO because the auditoriums have this musty-type of smell, and I feel like the seats are always a little sticky. The $11 alcohol and $10 glasses of wine don't help either.
First time coming here and I enjoyed it so much! The theater is outdated on the seats as they really show the age of them but still comfortable. Employees are super nice and give quick service. No wait it was not crowed at all Which was the best part! They have a Cafe inside when you walk in and they Have the concession stand upstairs.
I am giving 3 stars only because I got a prompt refund as soon as I left the theater. I would have given 1 star. This place is FILTHY. Theater 5 smelled like dog shít and I could barely hear the movie! I left 5 mins in to NOPE so I could get a refund and go somewhere better. I cringe at the idea of taking a date here… clean it up!!!!
This is going to sound hilarious; but I love their popcorn! I swear they sprinkle Fairy Dust on it! :) They have a lot of first-run movies, but also very interesting independent films as well. I like that they have started going to assigned seats, so you don’t have to sit in a line for a long time. I’ll definitely visit again!
I contacted Adam Conway on multiple occasions trying to book a day to have a private premiere and he never responded. I emailed 3 times, called, left messages and sent him a text! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. There should be someone in this position who will respond to the public. A shame. I recommend spending your money elsewhere.
I really like that this theater is centrally located right on the DART line. They show a variety of movies; first run, independent, and classics. The theaters are freezing! They need to offer blankets! Ticket kiosks are not dependable. Refreshments expensive. Seats really comfortable. Very clean. Staff just there.
Great movie theater, however the seats are a bit confining. I am 6 ft 1 inch and I just could not get comfortable. Additionally, there arent many choices as far as snacks and food goes. But I guess that's why it's surrounded by so many restaurants. Overall, not a bad movie theater at all, but I will not be back.
Checked out Mission Impossible today. Staff was not so friendly, especially the second-floor food area. Severed by staff member Vaniitta who was very rude and seemed annoyed with serving us. Theater 5 was very dirty and hardly cleaned from the previous showings. Not going there again, prefer Cinemark theaters.
It was a first showing of a matinee and it was comfortable and crowd was not as rowdy as I was expecting. Seats are not the most comfy, arm rest lift to cuddle if needed. I can't comment on the food, I didn't grab anything to eat since matinee was a 10am snowing. Overall looks good to catch a movie and relax.
Nice theater with good service. Seats were comfortable and the theater was clean after the previous showing. We had assigned seats and it was easy to quickly find them. We easily used a ticket purchased online and were able to quickly purchase conscessions. All in all it was a flawless movie experience.
During our visit, the escalators were all out of order and we had to use the stairs. The seats were adequate and comfortable. The restrooms were very clean and fresh smelling. There were super long lines for concessions. Was not enough time to get snacks before our movie started and we were very early.
Bunch of movie lovers here- I love it. The screenings may not be as campy as Alamo Drafthouse special screenings and the crowd might seem a bit more polished but its a good cinema place all the same! Where to go for classics such a 'The Room' or a sleeper Cannes hit. They also do test screenings here.
Love this cinema's atmosphere. It has a 50s vibe to it which is really refreshing. The seats and screens/projectors are ok but could use an upgrade though. If you're ever in the area this is a must try. (At least once anyways.) I'll definitely be returning just for the Sinatra music. FIN
Great place to enjoy a movie but since reopening after COVID the theatre temperatures are freezing cold when the temp outside is in the 90s. I should not have to dress like its wintertime when it's very hot outside. Often shows smaller independent type of films. Good location with parking garage.
Though I've only scene a handful of films in this theater is has never disappointed. The premises are always clean, the underground parking always seems well lit and patrolled. The surrounding shops also add to the allure. If you have the chance to catch a film here be sure to pounce!
Really good theater to see a movie at! Everything was clean and the prices were comparable for the area. Only complaint I had was that the person who was taking our tickets didn't really tell us where to go to so it was a little bit confusing to find the stairs up to the theaters!
We had a seminar at the Angelika and it went extremely well. Thank you Adam Conway for your help. Our attendees had a great time. The location was perfect for our guest as well. Adam was very professional in assisting us with set up and scheduling. Thank you again!
The movie was good , sound was poor and air conditioner was not working or if it was working you did not feel it.. I was sweating during the movie. The restrooms were dirty , they ran out cocktail menus. Movie theater was nice but mgmt please address these issues.
This was my first time coming here and I enjoyed it. Very clean and tidy and not bad at all for $11 bucks. There are multiple floors with stairs, elevaters and escalators as well. Also there is both a concession area and a cafe built inside the theater building.
What happened to Angelika! I walked in and thought it was shut down. It looked horrible! Trash n popcorn all over the place. Looked and noticed there's nowhere to sit out in lobby as it was before. Looks like a cheap hood movie theater and I don't belong...lol!
Kind of incredible that this outdated theater still exists. The seats don't recline, the projector had a scratch that caused a large black mark on the screen throughout the movie, and they only sell Dasani water. Truly tough to imagine a worse experience
Blown away at how this place has deteriorated over the last 3 years. Covid was hard on theaters so it understandable things aren’t perfect however this place has completely given up. The theater smelled like mildew and the seats were dirty and worn out.
Theater has a cool atmosphere and looks nice. The individual rooms are a little musty and still have cloth seats that don't recline (or I couldn't figure it out). It is stadium style and clean though. Overall ok but will keep looking for nicer places.
I love this theater. The staff are always friendly and the food/bev options are great. Above all, they have an eclectic variety of movies that rotate all the time. This place is comfortable and reminds me of class movie theaters when I was a kid.
First time at this theater. We came to watch IT. Really good movie! But also, really liked that the theater is not too big and you can reserve seats ahead of time. No need to wait in line, order tickets online. $$. Good places to eat near by
Nice theater in a clean and nice area. Watched a recent releases film but plan to enjoy some other timeless films they offer another time. Enjoyed a hotdog and a beer and had a blast. Conveniently located, clean bathrooms, friendly service.
This place is good. The food is good, the employees are great in there, but the prices is alright. I mean the food is a little bit expensive in there. I give y'all 4 stars in this movie theater. Good but the prices is a little expensive.
Great theatre that still kicking. Nice spot for a date night with a lot of selections between independent mainstream releases. The staff is welcoming and the popcorn seems to taste better than your popular theatres
The theater is old and a bit dated, but I can't argue with the choice of movies they showcase, one of the top in art and indie movies. Some improvements are needed but still satisfy the move goer 99%. Keep it up.
Love the movie selection but the theatre feels worn out. Today HVAC not working in entrance ... just feels neglected. If movie is playing elsewhere, then I'll see it elsewhere ... Cinema of last resort.
It could use a little shine up and more snacks, but appreciated the friendly staff and handicapped access for my mom. EXCEPT when like today the elevator in parking garage is broken. No other access.
It's a really cozy movie theater, the popcorn pop and the sodas fizzle just the way they should. A plus about this is that there's are restaurants and some shops around the area and a comedy club.
I like that when we go it’s usually never crowded. Stadium seating is nice. Films you can’t see elsewhere. Just feels like the seats and floor need a thorough cleaning. Otherwise, one of my faves.
Great location, shows great films but the theater itself needs renovating! Seats and arms on seats are held together with electrical tape - doesn't make the movie going experience very enjoyable!
I like the Plano location better for service, location, and cleanliness, but I enjoy the special showings at the Angelika. Most recently we went to this location for the Summer Ghibli festival.
First the movie was super cute- Leo. But the theater alone, was angelic, clean restrooms, staff was nice, and even asked about our experience;first time visitor, not my las …
I haven't been here in a long time but the seats in the theater definitely need to be replaced. Our arm rest with duck taped with plack tape, which stuck to my white blouse, not cool!!
Very friendly staff. Clean, good sound system, coffee shop downstairs, free popcorn on your b-d and half price on Tuesday for members! They also offer feee movie screening for members.
Ticket prices are absolutely insane for a theater and seats that haven't been replaced in 20 years. My body hurt for a couple of days after visiting with the ancient seating.
Nice location and ambiance, clean and confortable seats. Decent wine selection, terrible nachos. Getting to the underground parking gets a bit slow so get there early.
First time visiting the movie theater and saw Black Panther 2. Amazing . The service was friendly at the concession stand. Clean. And the movie was fantastic …
Lovely theater! I've always had a great time at the Angelika. You can tell that the staff really loves film and they go out of your way to make you feel welcome.
Always a good movie theater to watch great movies. Offer a variety of movies for all tastes. Great deals if you become a member of Angelica for free.
This theater has gone down. It’s AC isn’t working, the theatre is musty, and the chairs are black taped up. I’m leaving and requesting a full refund.
Although the service is amazing, and movies being playing there are the best. The. Theater roons need be updated. With new chairs and new carpet.
Very affordable movies in a great chill atmosphere. Super nice location near other restaurants and shopping. Definitely a great experience.
I have been going to Angelika Film Centre for about 20 years but today they were rude and ignored me a paying customer and member.
No AC. Musty theater. Restroom has cockroaches and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. Not the way I remembered it being.
Dead elevators. Non performing air conditioners in this historical summer heat. And no one is there to take responsibility
We always enjoy this theater - you can see some amazing art films here along with mainstream as well.
Popcorn was expensive and stale. Didn't get popcorn, but movie premiere of Till was well done!
This week was the Asian Film Festival of Dallas. I really enjoyed all of the movies presented.
The air in the lobby was barely working in 100plus weather, the help seemed misdirected.
Great films in a great environment. Adam, Keenan and the crew never disappoint.
no AC in the heat of summer! felt humid and gross all throughout the movie.
Asian film festival presents The Night Owl. What a great film! A must see!
The facility was HOT and it seems ran down from the last time I was here.
Old seats. Broken elevator. Easy parking in the underneath garage.
Comfortable seats, agents were courteous & friendly!
