A great arts venue showing a varied range of modern art. It also has a large cinema/performance space, well stocked bookshop and large bar and restaurant. It’s position in the centre of Bristol’s Harbourside has made it a pivotal component of Bristol’s cultural life.

They are a free Art Gallery accepting donations, and they have a lovely cafe attached. There is also a huge patio they have built where are you can get drinks next to the water. On a popular day When the weather is nice, you should expect a queue.

My new favourite place in Bristol. Stopped in to check out the bookshop, then found out the galleries are free to visit! 3 floors of artwork and installations, work by local artists, and a community room where you can create your own art.

Stumbled upon Arnolfini on my way to Spike Island, great current show and space. The top floor had workshops people could join and even a large room for making things like weavings and still life drawing. Great bookshop too. More

Cool free art gallery we stumbled upon. The exhibitions were cool but not to our taste but the art room at the top was great, we loved drawing our own graffiti for a while. Would be great for crafty kids too. Good shop! More

It is a great place for art exhibits I suppose . Unfortunately the day I visited, most of the exhibition is closed for prep of the upcoming exhibition. So we did not spend much time in this location.

Really great place. Especially impress by the way they want you to enjoy your visit. To the extent of providing yoga mats and ear defenders to help you get immersed in the art. X

Some interesting modern art displays on. They have foldout seats and headphones on request so you can focus on the works more which is a cool idea. More
