I had disappointing experiences with Autoworks. When I brought in one of our older cars to have the rear lights' wiring fixed, they were unable to resolve the issue. During a routine service appointment of my VW, I mentioned a loud noise coming from the transmission. The manager was uncertain about the source of the noise, and we mutually agreed not to address it at the time. Unfortunately, the car eventually broke down, and I had to have it towed back to Autoworks. After conducting some research online, I discovered that the noise was a common problem in VW DSG gearboxes. It turned out to be caused by wear on the dual mass flywheel, which requires periodic replacement as part of regular maintenance. I was surprised that Autoworks was unaware of this. Autoworks then sent my car to a gearbox specialist who charged me an additional R7000 just to inform Autoworks that the flywheel and clutch needed to be replaced, as they are wear items. Consequently, I ended up paying an extra R7000 due to Autoworks' lack of knowledge. Adding to my frustration, the car remained at Autoworks for over a month, which I find unacceptable. In hindsight, I should have taken my car to a VW service station. Not only would I have saved money, but I would have also saved time.

Always super awesome with Customer Service. The ladies Tyra and Claudette are amazing with follow ups and keeping you excited with updates and reminders. Replaced minor items at no cost and did my wheels swapping at no extra charge, what more do you want from such a professional service center like AutoWorks. Also, scratches / dents were done by them within two days, looks like new. Thanks guys you are truly the best I have ever been too

The branch lacks some professional courtesy.. Great service from Salt river never skipped a beat, you guys on the other hand fall short on etiquettes of good service. I trust you can do better. As a customer I should not wonder about my car when its in your care, nor should I be the one following up. Lastly; I am still waiting for my invoice please email me at your earliest convenience. I'll be waiting.

The staff are friendly and helpful all the time and they are very professional. Work done was not exactly on time and we also had a battery issue but the management took care of the outstanding jobs to my satisfaction. Turns out the battery issue was an old battery that was at it's end but my concern about it was dealt with by the manager. Overall I would not think twice to use them again!

Car went for a major service, I was told my gearbox seals needs replacing by the manager. I found this strange as my car never leaked any oil. 2 months later I found oil leaks on my garage floor. Got another opinion somewhere else and they told me my oil filter was not properly tighten at the last major service which caused the oil leak.

On the 19th of December 2022 I came in to get a quote on a repair on my bumper. I have not received set quote till date (1st of January 2023) . Despite my following up with the gentleman that promised me a quote . Which is disappointing because I went to the establishment on a recommendation.

Amazing experience with Garth and Jan at the scratch and dent section, he literally worked miracles with my bumper repair using plastic welding. He put the broken pieces together of my bumper like a master! I could not even tell the difference. Great experience would highly recommend.

Lovely Friendly front office staff. Serviced both our cars a Mazda Etude and a Smart. Very professional friendly workshop staff. This is the second time we used them and will continue to do so. The costs were also very reasonable for the service and repairs.
