I had to wait to be served as they had few staffs messing around to sort out stock and not many customers in the store and only one cashier was on and she was on the phone to customers service for a customer returning an item so they could come and help where they see many customers waiting to be served and they didn't think that people have things to or finished work wants to go home then wait for 15 min to be served I can understand if they were busy or had a lot of customers in the store it was after 6 pm the store is empty seeing so many customers waiting to be served its commonsense to serve customers rather then filling up shelves. I found it very rude and unprofessional for a store like that in a good location having staffs like them I won't even have them to clean my back yard then have them to work in a store.

I stock up from here every couple of months or so on all my non perishable items, e.g, tins, cereals, jars, cleaning items and there is always plenty of stock. I get through an iron a year probably because I never descale them and I bought a Russell Hobbs Light and Bright iron from here last week for £15.00. It is without doubt one of the best iron's I have ever used. It is light and the steam iron setting cuts through the driest of washing quickly and efficiently. The LED warm white LED lights were pretty useless though as 4 of them have 'blown' already, (the more expensive Amazon ones are still going fine 3 years later). Sometimes its a case of 'you get what you pay for.' The queue moved quick and I find the shop (near Asda at Minworth) really easy to navigate. Staff are always really helpful and prices are really competitive.

The thing that lets this place down is the staff. I find them rude, they walk in front of you if you're actually looking at something, what happened to social distancing and if it's young staff god help you, my daughter asked where the pet section was and as the young girl was obviously flirting she said over there, but where is over there, I've been in sales for years and it was a fact you took the customer to the product. Now it's worse as loads of people are going in with no masks and the staff don't challenge them so I don't want covid so I won't be shopping there as there are no safeguards in place whatsoever. Shop at your own risk to health....

Great store, lots of variety, a good size, very good prices. There's never enough staff on the tills so it's always tempting to just dump your shopping and just go elsewhere. WARNING: I wouldn't trust the parking here though. It's meant to be 3 hours free when you spend in any of the attached stores (including Aldi) but loads of people get fines even when correctly entering their car reg. So unfortunately I hardly ever shop here. Not worth the risk.

WHY NOT USE SELF SERVICE TILLS? Not many staff about each time I visit, although they do work hard. Today's visit, only one till open with a sign showing till closed. After a few minutes wait another till opened. The store may benefit from a self serve till, as in the case of Poundland and Tescos. Tippex is £1.75, rather expensive. A lot of the stationery items are expensive, but the food is good value for money

Excellent service & very helpful staff. A member of the public was very rude towards the cashier who handled the situation well. The store is large, well stocked, & the goods are varied and good quality at reasonable prices. Things can sell out fast as this is a favourite go to store for influencers like Mrs Hinch & TV personality Stacey Solomon.

Avoid like the plague?!! B&M is where you pay money for trash and this is why it can not be returned. Misleading pricing and awkward tiles with the intention to confuse customers and overcharge for items. I tried to return an item I bought and I was told that I can not return.

  • M T

Got to the till turned round and dumped our stuff on the floor then walked out. Woman on the till was having a good old natter to her colleague who persisted in standing in front of the queue. Rude and ignorant. Bad customer service therefore you're not getting my custom or money.

  • Catherine Jones

Those people who know B & M don't need it recommending. Full of so much lovely homeware, food and a million other things you may or may not need! I defy anyone to enter the store and leave without a purchase. The staff in the Sutton Coldfield store always seem very nice too.

  • Paul

Great once stop shop for most of your needs, shame the freezer section went, they did the best ham and mushroom pizzas. Great for a Christmas shop too for kids lots of good toys at reasonable prices, food, kitchen wear, furniture, cleaning products, toys ect..

  • Carpe diem

The floor and till staff are warm and welcoming which makes the visit more pleasurable. Great for bird seed and treats for animals. I get my hedgehog's feed as Small selection perfumes, DIY, wall paper, flooring Free parking. Just go to machine on back wall

  • Bradley Liston-Head

Good selection but terrible customer service. A representative was helping me find an item, only to the walk away and jump on the tills leaving me standing. The online stock check is useless, and states items are in-stock when they're not.

  • Joshua Coope

Went to get some Cleaning Stuff and some sweets for a children's party. They had loads of stock on the shelves. If you spend more than £5 you get your parking included you just need to add your registration on the screen after you pay.

  • Anthony Hershey

Excellent store with plenty of products to choose from at very good prices, never too busy to shop but sometimes there is a queue at checkouts, the shop seems clean and tidy and the staff are helpful, all in all a good experience

  • diane mary mccabe

Used to be cheap but now the food prices especially you see a big difference in the price. But they sell things other shops have not got. But the staff are friendly , the shop clean and the staff are always willing to help you.

  • Queen Dee

Big shop with lots of stock. Great for Christmas gift ideas. Always seems clean and the staff are nice when you ask where something is. One of those shops you could visit and not need a thing but still spend £30+ …

  • Yasumy V

Great store, with some amazing bargains. Have to say that it's one of the biggest B&M store I've been to. Some of the sweets are great for kid's birthdays at school too, like the £1.99 Barrat box at the minute. Bargain!

  • Steve

Ticks a lot of boxes ...coffee expensive coffee powder expensive...but still cheaper mainstream supermarkets...need a few more staff on tills to cope with underestimated foot traffic...Still I rate them highly …

  • Sarah Mallin

Lay out great, staff great... Bought 2 carrier bags @ £1:99 each, both split before I even got to my car!!! Not due to weight I must add, makes me think what else of there's looks good but performs poorly?

  • Leon Hall

B and M is definitely my favourite place for the purchase of snacks, food, electrical equipments and household accessories, all of shich I've bought at mord than one of their branches on many occasions.

  • M Jones

Really like a mooch round B&M, Aussie Cadbury's chocolate to boot- yummy. Shame the car park was awful drove round at least 6 times to find a place to park. Shouldn't have gone on a Saturday lunchtime.

  • Max Zafosnik

Very easy to park and shop had very short queue had everything I needed even had the best crab sandwich filler ever try it you'll love it nice friendly staff parking free and lots of bargains

  • Jean Ayre

It is horrendous. Do not come here. No social distancing. No one on the door to monitor level of customers its like Piccadily Circus. People are just walking round as if there is no virus.

  • Nicola Yates

Love this shop but stock is sometimes low, probably due to popularity. Store can be messy but that might be down to customers not putting things back where they belong. Staff are lovely.

  • Rachel Fox

This B&M isn't as well laid out as other stores and stock limited. I often come out with a lot less than I intended to buy. I would recommend the Warmley branch over Sutton Coldfield.

  • Kimberley Rondeau

A very clean shop, tidy and the staff are friendly too. Has most products but you would have thought by the size of it, it would have had a bigger section for toys and games.

  • W M

This is a fantastic bargain store with an huge assortment of household items, groceries, soft furnishings, toys, games and DIY stuffs. Definitely a good place to check out ✔️

  • Liz Westlake

Great stock at good prices, bought several items. As it was lunchtime we bought sandwiches too. Well within their sell by date but the bread was dry and fillings minimal.

  • Anita Badger

Great choice..Great price and friendly service . Always something new to look at be it food eclectic goods or homeware. Sutton one how gives you free parking .

  • Lou Lou m (Lou)

I love this shop so many bargains and great deals, great variety of items from toys to household items. Staff are helpful and friendly and quick service.

  • Lex B

Really poor customer service. 2 checkouts open, queues were into the aisles, and the employee floating around was more interested in refilling the bags.

  • Kim Biddlestone

I have always love this shop . But one staff was really rude . To me will not be going back again did give it 5 start's what a shame …

  • Kieran Rennie

Always good selection but some of the things I want always seem to be missing prices! Would possibly have bought 3 more items today if they were priced

  • M J

I like shopping at M&M with my grandchildren. They have a lot of items from major brands at reasonable prices. Staff is helpful and courteous

  • Martin Price

Lovely lady called Michelle was so kind and helpful at the B&M store at Sutton Coldfield. I wish there were more assistants like her in shops

  • Libby Wood

This store has loads of good deals & it's surprising what you can find here. There was a large que at the checkouts but this moved quickly.

  • Chris Bentley

Very good selection of useful household items at competitive prices. Don't forget to register your car reg after checking out.

  • L B

Typical b&m but you do get longer queues here at the check out, is quite busy. It has no gardening section which is a shame.

  • Lawrence James

Some very good deals, easy free parking providing you purchase from the store, machine in store to authorise using your reg.

  • Bav

  • Sophie Donovan

They sell energy drinks to children who are very clearly underage and do not have ID, it’s disgusting and illegal

  • Pat Joyce

Easy to walk around with wide aisles and well appointed signs. Always clean and bright, staff polite and helpful.

Easy move around, distancing, spacing good. More staff on check out needed to Void big queues, more smiley staff
